Over the last 5 years of running Profitable pig farming in Nigeria, Ghana and Togo, we have a comprehensive list of reasons why people are venturing into pig farming. This include as an hobby, as a side-business at the back of your house, because farming is the popular thing - others are doing it, a safe investment - to pay unexpected to hospital bills, a piggy bank - a planned one-off bill e.g. school fees, a new venture to escape the dissatisfaction with current job etc.
In our next 2 videos ,we will take you through why people are venturing into pig farming and why this is a good time to go into pig farming in Sub Sahara Africa

Below is 2015 election that was by far the most credible election in Lagos

Ambode: 812, 000 votes
Agbaje: 760,000 votes

For you to expect Sanwo-Olu who is not popular, Ambode refused return ticket for selfish reasons, fear of Lagos being Tinubu's estate, Buhari failure, APC tribal politics and division, to expect Lagosians will vote massively for Sanwo-Olu is the biggest joke in the world.
Most of the officers that perpetrate these brutal cold blood killing of civilians using guns provided to them by the Nigerian government are Hausa-Fulani officers; they are usually brutal whenever they are working in the Southern part of Nigeria.

The truth is, if not for Yoruba people's love for betrayal and selling out of other Southern Nigerians to Hausa-Fulani in order to get some crumbs that fell of northern dominated Nigerian government, there is nothing that ought to bring Southern Nigeria together with Northern Nigeria because Northern Nigerians don't value human life, they love poverty and are religious extremist who sacrifice human capital development for ancient religious doctrines and practices angry

Yoruba people are the single reason the north take we southern Nigerians for granted, all because of useless favors they ought to get by merit in a functional country (for instance, just because they want Osinbajo to become next President, they are foolishly supporting a terrorist to rule them again without asking if they will be alive to witness the fake promise, its depressing to be in one nation with foolish, selfish, backstabbers and backward thinking lunatics angry ), yet they claim to be sophisticated my foot angry sad

I warned Atiku to give Yorubas VP slot, Atiku should have picked a Yoruba VP so that Yorubas can be happy and not vote the terrorist again just because they want VP.

Atiku ought to have known that Igbos would have still voted for him en mass even if he picked Yoruba VP, all Igbos want is a safe, prosperous Nigeria free of tribalism, religious extremism, terrorism, incessant killings and tyranny, Igbos don't care who becomes the President so long as its not a tribal-religious terrorist, Atiku if u fail blame yourself angry angry[/

Remember that Atiku na Ex custom officer and is the same Fulanis ...Think well before u blame any tribe and no be u to speak about Yoruba

I think Yoruba is the most funniest set of people in politics, Yoruba condemned Buhari, now thinking to vote in Atiku. Wel, North is on the saver side, either Buhari or Atiku they stil hold political post of number one citizen. The game is now between East and West. Osinbajon is from west (yoruba), and Obi from East (Igbo). The Igbo are supporting Atiku/Obi because they recognise the importance of their son being the vice president. Go to all ministries you'll discover that the number of Igbo workers outnumbered all other ethnic groups in the nation. How are they doing it? They have always been in government since 1960 as vice presidents and so on. Each time this happens they fill the ministries with their people whether these people qualify or not. This time around they are posting stupid stories and lies to make Yoruba support their plans. If you vote PDP you have sold your own people and assist the Igbo to have their ways. If you are in doubt about the Igbo attitude check the period Azikwe was the ceremonial president of Nigeria, he made sure that all vice chancellors of Nigerian universities are Igbo. Gradually, almost all junior and senior posts were filled by Igbo. If you still go to university of Ibadan you would still find the traces of this atrocity there. Yoruba should think twice before they condemn their own. Omo eni kii sedi bebere ka fi ileke sidi omi elomii. Right in front of me now is a book on Hubert Ogunde and I have just read the story around the development of the play and song Yoruba Ronu. I've never seen a people who decide to be self enemies like Yoruba. You may decide not to vote in your own as Yoruba because Igbo are surreptitiously twisting your brains through lies and half truths on the social media but you may regret your action soon. But don't forget the Yoruba adage that says Teni n teni, takisa n taatan. But while Ohaneze is saying openly that they are voting massively for PDP because their son Obi is the running mate, Yoruba are unfortunately deriding their own son, Osinbajo, for petty politicking. We need to change this pattern of self indictment and destruction. Yoruba worked against Awolowo, Abiola, Bola Ige and other stars among them. I dont understant the problem of yorubas, Can't we reason?

ote author=Chelsea82 post=75792889]In a video he shared online relating Buhari Fuming in anger in 2015 after Elections were postponed by INEC.

They where all insinuating that Jonathan was behind this all to extend his tenure as President and to plot his rigging strategy.

I Go Dye wrote :

I CALL FOR THE SUSPENSION OF THE INEC CHAIRMAN AND UNRESERVED APOLOGY FROM PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI WHO ONCE CONDEMNED THE 2015 POSTPONED ELECTION.

He further stated that he was astonished like many other Nigerians who woked up only to discover that INEC has postponed and fixed new dates 23rd for the elections. I feel this is totally unacceptable from an institution like INEC that had been given 185 billon naira to organise it's logistics prior to this day.

Federal government has the financial capacity to bear the extra logistics burden that will be incurred from this postponement, but what happens to the rest of us?Who have planned marriage ceremonies, parties, funeral programs and other social activities who have fixed several events and occasions on the new dates,we are now forced to make new plans, resulting in the loss of time, financial burden and psychological problems.

Unfortunately for me,I have proposed 23rd February as the auditioning date for my project Sort talent hunt at Delta State. After spending so much on publicity, venue and other logistics,I am now forced to change the dates, even the final that was to hold on 27th February will also be affected.

This is the highest level of mismanagement and gross interpretation of corruption against the original Nigerians.

This is the kind of frustration melted on Nigerian youths on a daily basis, when they are frustrated out of businesses because of electricity, high expenses of goods and services due to foreign exchange rate, unemployment that has led many to crimes and taking risks' through the deserts to seek greener pastures in strange lands;the negative options is created by the insensitive of Nigerian government,it shows they don't really care about their citizens.

To even make this situation worst, the postponement was carried out at Night. So when did they realise that the logistics involved was not adequately prepared for? This was how the Goodluck Jonathan past administration postponed the 2015 presidential elections and we condemned it,we felt that with the change mantra that will be end of such maladministration.

This is a national embarrassment and deliberate attempt to ridicule us a Nation. Amb Francis Agoda

PoliticsNigeria: Yoruba And Igbo Historic Piece by egbetokuns(op): 10:07am On Jun 16, 2018
VERY HISTORIC PIECE

Copied from "FRIENDS IKOYI CLUB 1938" Forum posted by Adenike Marinho, a Medical Doctor.

Tunde Oduwole, I-QS.
14.06.'18.

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF HATRED
I had the privilege of attending some meetings of the Yoruba and Igbo Leaders. I was not a leader but a youth who knew how to wash his hands. At one of those meetings in Owerri, I think in 1989, I think, I listened to Uncle Bola Ige and other Yoruba Leaders take the likes of Mbakwe, R. B. Okafor and others to the cleaners when the Igbo said the Yoruba were betrayers, citing that Chief Obafemi Awolowo led them into secession with a promise that if the Igbo left Nigeria, the Yoruba would follow suit. They accused him of not following up on his promise. Trust Uncle Bola Ige! He pointed to Chief Mbakwe and said, "you were there in the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu as I was. Is that statement correct?".He turned to two other Igbo and two Yoruba Leaders who were at that meeting and asked the same question, saying he had transcripts of the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu. They kept quiet while the Yoruba Leaders affirmed that Awolowo never promised to follow the East into secession. What he said was that if the Igbo were "driven" out of Nigeria the Yoruba would take it seriously and reassess their own position. Igbo Leaders DID NOT CONTEST this version. Then Chief Bola Ige threw in the clincher! "Who are you to accuse the Yoruba of betrayal?" he roared, and continued:
1. At Independence Awolowo offered a joint government between the NCNC and AG, with Zik as Prime Minister and Awo as Finance Minister. Awo and Zik "were still negotiating" when it was announced that Zik would be President in a coalition with NPC of the North. The East then collaborated in destroying the West and sending Awolowo and his leutenants to jail!
2. What of the 1965 elections which the West and the East agreed to boycott? We met all night and reached agreement about 3am on the day of the election. In the morning, while the Yoruba boycotted the election, the Igbo went to vote
3. After the 1979 elections Yoruba (UPN) and Igbo (NPP?) Leaders were still at the negotiating table for a coalition when to their surprise, an announcement was heard that the Igbo (NPP) had agreed to a coalition with the North (NPN)
4. After the 1983 elections, 1979 repeated itself. Not giving up, Awolowo reached out to Azikiwe again for cooperation. Talks started and they met in Benin where Awo pleaded passionately that only a collaboration between The Igbo and the Yoruba could save Nigeria. They didn't reach agreement but promised to meet again. Before the next meeting, the Igbo had again teamed up with the North
Uncle Bola paused and then continued "we can go on and on. So how dare you accuse the Yoruba of betrayal? How many Igbo have been killed in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Oshogbo (he mentioned other Yoruba towns)? You have your businesses in the West and went to Western schools. Yet you count the Yoruba as your enemy. You get killed in Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Zaria etc and have your goods looted yet you consider the Hausa/ Fulani your friends. It's your choice. If you want to be slaves for ever, we can't help you"
I had never been so scared in my life. I thought the roof was going to fall. There was a pin drop silence and no Igbo dared interrupt Uncle Bola Ige because he was telling the truth. The Yoruba Leaders ended the meeting at that point and left. I hope Chief C. O. Adebayo's memoirs will give more details of those exchanges.
Now to make three points from all this:
A. The Yoruba have been stretching their hand across the Niger for a handshake for a long time. The Igbo refused to take it for a long time until recently
B. Many Igbo Leaders of the 70s, 80s and 90s deliberately perpetrated the legend of Awolowo's role betraying them into the civil war and his role in prosecuting the war, to rally the Igbo population behind themselves. The Igbo agreed on Yoruba hatred than on any other issue. So it was the fabric that held them together for a long time
C. Time heals all things. Many Igbo reading this will be hearing for the first time that their leaders of old knew for a truth that Awolowo did not break his word to Ojukwu as alleged. And to think of it, EVEN IF OUR PARENTS QUARRELLED, SHOULD WE THE NEW GENERATION CONTINUE THE SAME WAY?. ITS TIME TO COME TOGETHER AND MAKE THE HANDSHAKE ACROSS THE NIGER WORK FOR THE SAKE OF OUR PEOPLES AND NIGERIA.
AgricultureProfitability In Livestock Farming by egbetokuns(op): 2:36am On May 17, 2018
*Profitability in livestock farming often depends on doing many small things right, rather than making one big change** - *Yemi Adesina* *Part 2*

In the last article, as part of our preparation for our 2 Day Profitable Pig Farming, we thought it is important to shed more light on what profit means to us as a farmer, we reiterated that one of our primary goal as a farmer is to make profit.

We said that profit is a financial gain, the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing the pigs on our farm.

Furthermore, we said that that good profit also provides resources for expanding future operations, however, long term absence of profit may result in the extinction of our operation no matter how good our intention is.

We concluded that , ultimately, there are two ways that a farmer can increase his or her profit margins, one is by reducing the farm cost and two by increasing sales either in volume or price.

Today we are going to start by focussing on some of the ways that livestock farmers, especially pig farmers can cut his or her cost of production.

Farmer can minimise his direct costs, such as feed by:

• Negotiating lower prices with supplier especially the feed suppliers, this can be done by either buying directly from the source i.e. the producers factory or farmers, the closer you buy to the source the cheaper the ingredientsinstead of buying all your items from the middle men, we know that this is easier said than done but if feeding cost 70% of production, farmer need to pay attention, farmer has to be more strategic and do more to bring this cost down as much as possible,

• As a proprietor, you should research and plan your feed purchase, know which area is noted for producing a particular ingredients which you need and try and buy as close as possible from the source, but please while doing this also factor the cost of transportation.

• The other way to reduce cost is to buy in bulk, if you are a big farm this will be a bit easy but even if you are a small farm , you should group together with other farmers to buy certain ingredients together in bulk.

However, If you cannot reduce the buying cost, you should review your operational processes and systems so as to minimise wastage. Wastage is very common in livestock production more than many farmers would like us to admit and believe, and this starts from poor or faulty scale for measuring ingredienst from suppliers through to poor loading and off loading leading to leaking feed from busted bags on the way to the farm another is pouring of too much feed at a time for animal during feeding leading to soiling of feed, poor feeding method, all of which are eventually washed away the following morning with the dung.

Poor storage of feed also lead to spoilage of feed in the storage especially during the humid and raining season or allowing rodents to eat or soil feed in the storage.

Also allowing pilfering of feed by staff to be sold to another farm.

Finally, not making full use of affordable and easily available feed ingredients on your farm and in the neighbourhood, for example, water cress, cassava leaves, cassava peels, tree fruits nearby.

Why don’t you make use of the plots or acres around your farm to plant easy to manage and maintain crops like plant sweet potatoes, cocoyam etc.

See our videos below on how to feed your pig for less part 1 and 2

In our next 3 articles, we will be looking at how to review your supply chain,

We hope to see you all at our next profitable pig farming training in Ibadan Nigeria on the 1st & 2nd of June and in Sunyani, Ghana on the 8th and 9th June.

Where we will be looking closely at how to review your supply chain, make your processes more efficient and introducing complementary goods or services with higher profit margins

This is not a miracle. It is a phenomenon well documented in the medical literature. It has happened before and will happen again.

The patient was mistakenly diagnosed as deceased after what was probably a cardiac arrest. He in all likelihood had spontaneous resumption of cardiac and circulatory activity. The technical term is ROSC
"A patient is not dead until he is warm and dead" is what you are taught in emergency medicine courses because cold preserves the vital organs and can allow recovery later.

In 19th century Europe and America , there were so many cases of people mistakenly thought dead who woke up, that a practice was established of keeping the 'corpse' in a room for 24 to 48 hours with a bell beside him/her. Friends and relatives would gather expectantly waiting with hope. If he awoke he was supposed to ring the bell.
That is the origin of the term 'wake keeping'
uote author=Truth234 post=57677224]The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Monday sold another $190 million to meet customers’ requests in various forex segments.

The apex bank which injected $831.5 million into the interbank forex market last week said it would soon introduce a new forex retail option.

Speaking on the disbursement, the acting Director, Corporate Communications, Mr Isaac Okorafor, said in a statement in Abuja that the apex bank sold $100 million to authorised forex dealers through the interbank market, while $50 million was offered to Small and Medium Enterprises window.

Accordingly, the invisibles segment was appropriated $45 million to meet demands for business/personal travel allowances, school tuition and medicals.

The CBN reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing forex policy and insist on transparency to guarantee stability in the foreign exchange market.

Since the Investors and Exporters forex window was launched in April, the CBN has aided transactions by contributing 30 percent of the total forex volume traded on the window, boosting total volume of trade to $2.2 billion.

This has helped increase forex liquidity and subsequently improved consumer prices which measure inflation to 12 months low of 16.25 percent in May from 17.24 percent in April.

Also, in an effort to further reduce inflation rate, the CBN last week announced a plan to mop up N200.32 billion from the banking system through Open Market Operation.

However, the Statistician General of the Federation, Dr. Yemi Kale said the economy will be out of recession in 2018, provided oil prices do not collapse and Niger Delta remains stable.

While his projection is more conservative than other experts, the statistician said; “Inflationary slowdown does not mean prices are coming down. Inflation by definition is always a rise in price. All we are saying is that the increase is decelerating.”

“Before it rose by 100 percent, but this time it went up by 50 per cent. As such, having double-digit inflation figure is still a huge problem. The fact that it went down from over 18 per cent to 17 per cent and now to 16 per cent shows improvement. But I can tell you 16 percent is not good,” he said.

The Naira appreciated to N364 against the dollar from N370 it traded last week.

Christianity EtcCan The Garden Of Eden Be Geographical Located by egbetokuns(op): 1:57pm On May 14, 2017
Over the years, many have claimed the Garden of Eden has been found. Of course the location of each "discovery" is in a different location. The Bible describes the area around the Garden in Genesis 2, even using recognizable place names such as Ethiopia. It mentions a spring in the Garden which parts into four major rivers, including the Euphrates. This has led many, including Bible scholars, to conclude that the Garden of Eden was somewhere in the middle eastern area known today as the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley, with its remains long ago vanishing.

It is also true that this area (the "fertile crescent"wink was the location of the ancient Tower of Babel and the patriarch Abraham's home in the city of Ur. Without a doubt, the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley plays a unique role in Biblical history, but was it the location of the Garden of Eden? I think not.

First, let's examine the Biblical information. While the Tigres and Euphrates both have their headwaters in the area surrounding Mt. Ararat, they do not flow from a source like the spokes on a wheel, filling the land as mentioned. Nor are the other two rivers present and none go to Ethiopia. Furthermore, the mineral deposits mentioned bear no resemblance to those in this area. In short, the geography and descriptions don't match.

The key is in recognizing that through the Flood of Noah's day, "the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished" (II Peter 3:6). As described in Genesis 6-9, the Flood would have totally restructured the surface of the globe. It would have done what major floods do—erode the land surface in one area and redeposit those sediments elsewhere. Biblically, the Flood covered the planet with processes operating at rates, scales, and intensities far beyond those possible today. No place on Earth could have survived untouched.

These sediments would have been full of organic debris, which over time would either fossilize or metamorphose into oil and gas. The sediments would harden into sedimentary rock, in places bending into mountains or breaking along fault systems.

Today, the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley contains sediments over two miles thick, from which are pumped enormous quantities of oil and gas. The sediments, now rock, are dramatically bent into modern mountains as well as subsurface mountains, and brutally broken by major fault systems. They deeply cover and obscure any possible pre-flood locations. Furthermore, the basement rock, if indeed it was present before the Flood, would have likely undergone erosion also. No present topography or underground surface could possibly bear any resemblance to the pre-flood world. That world is gone!

Noah and his family would have encountered the present-day Tigris and Euphrates Rivers soon after leaving the Ark. As their descendants migrated, they would give familiar names to the new rivers and places.

God placed an angel at the entrance to the Garden to keep pre-flood men from returning. The Flood made even that precaution unnecessary.
Can You give me another location?

This could turn out to be a great investment for those with the heart and stomach for it. An overall great idea, but requires a few spelling checks and all. Plus no details were provided, like is the training online, how much will it cost, etc or are those details provided in the video through the links? If that is the case, a heads-up will be really nice.
