Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo Sacks 40 Pastors 'For Low Income From Their Branches' (Video) by egbetokuns(m): 4:10am On Jul 19, 2021
AmandaTalks:
A pastor at Winners Chapel has cried out after he was sacked for not generating enough money in his branch.

According to the pastor, mr Peter Godwin, he was invited by the state pastor and getting there he met other pastors about 40 and they were all sacked over low income in their branches.

Watch the video below from 2.44 minutes as a Living Faith Church Pastor reveals how he was sacked

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLhcBEjpwxg

Blogger, Maureen Badejo also talks about the sack too. Watch from 40 minutes...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_IpH8dndJk
Many of this sacked pastors deserved to be sacked.
I witness some report that some pastors posted to rural area’s in some state don’t even open their church for some month. They doctored their attendance and reporting it accordingly until the MIS official visited the church physically and discovered that the church has been locked down for so many month. Infant the whole place was filled with grass.
Many of this pastors just looking for salary not to serve God and winners mandate is winning souls to God kingdom even a member of winners church must come along to church with new souls.imagine pastor posted to a church and unable to increase the attendance of that particular church and you are expecting the leadership to start praising you.
If you can’t go about your father’s business don’t expect rewards from your father. You must be disciplined. Do things of God as yourself. As at this moment. I’m praying at this midnight to God for more souls to our church and the more souls the more everything increases in the house of the lord.

Ladies and gentlemen, If you couldn't read the long write-up, here is the most touching part (culled from the complete confession thread)

12 innocent girls from Imo state were beheaded and their heads used to prepare protection charm against their will. Their parents are probably still crying day and night for them to return home... These horrible act was done by some people who call themselves freedom fighters...For the first time in 10years, I cried this morning , Aswearugad

....And despite this barbaric act, 12 of them were gunned down the very first day they went on operation after wasting these prospective mothers.

This must be the reason many women in Imo state were jubilating when some of these boys were gunned down.

I travel to the east almost once or twice every month, the last time being a few days ago...and I still notice shrines at their security checkpoints. Sometimes when the drivers give these hungry looking security men money and demand for change, they pick the change from their shrines.

Ladies and gentlemen, until this life of worshipping idols in the East is abolished, the East still has a long long long way to go.

I cried! Onionbandit is still crying! Damn!
Above all it’s high time we discourage anything about juju in fighting any crimes. It’s devilish and has repercussions. Society with all this idols can’t have peace

Buhari simply doesn't care about anyone...
That's the more reason people must be careful in what they do and say, because if trouble comes Bubu will just stay aloof. For about 2 to 3 days after the Lekki incident, there was anarchy every where, I was expecting a state of emergency in Lagos and some selected states, but it was obvious the FG intentionally stayed aloof so that states that were initially sympathetic to the protesters may reap the rewards of their perceived folly. Governor's where helpless, the soldiers were just in their barracks while the police were no where to be found, Mushin was on fire while major army Barracks just a stone throw in Oshodi and Yaba were watching the state burn.

[quote author= post=102617438]Twitter made a statement in which they said they don't know President Buhari and which country he runs.

When you're blinded by hate and self imposed narrow mindedness, you will applaud someone who is clearly insulting you.
Most Nigerians who are sympathetic with Twitter today don't know how much of an insult this comment is to even them.
They see Buhari as the target here but there are two elements in this insult.
Twitter says they don't know President Buhari.
But they didn't stop there.
They also added that they don't know the country he is leading. In other words they don't know Nigeria.

Twitter is brazenly saying they don't know Africas most populous nation and the country with the highest concentration of black people in the world. Twitter is brazenly saying they don't know a country where over 11 billion dollars of their revenue comes from with over 40 million subscribers.

Some years ago Pastor Chris Oyakhilome chose to use twitter to communicate some prayer information to Christ Embassy members worldwide.
Within few weeks Pastor Chris broke the records of having the most amount of followers within such a short period.

In their arrogance, Twitter called Pastor Chris' twitter account to question and described the followership as bogus.

Simply put, Twitter believed that nobody from a place like Nigeria had enough clout to garner such followership within such a short time - a feat that no Hollywood star was able to achieve -.

Pastor Chris wasn't prepared for their drama, he pulled out of twitter and challenged his church tech people to design a platform that the church can use. That's what gave birth to Yookos.

Today Yookos is a formidable competitor with Twitter so much so that ex President Barack Obama acknowledged the giant strides made by the platform within such a short time after it was launched.

Eventually twitter confirmed Pastor Chris' account and "apologized" but it was too late.
Pastor Chris had moved his huge followership into Yookos.

Several years later Twitter is saying that they don't know the country that the same Pastor Chris comes from.
That's arrogance taken too far.

Any Nigerian who tolerates this insult is just a self hating sychophant.

Someone says you and your country don't matter and you're jubilating.
Is that not a serious sickness?

On a lighter note,
*We heard someone telling his landlord that his rent money for the year is trapped in his Twitter account*

Christianity EtcOngoing Protests: Your Judgement Has Come Rages Bishop Oyedepo! by egbetokuns(op): 10:19am On Oct 18, 2020
ONGOING PROTESTS:
YOUR JUDGEMENT HAS COME RAGES BISHOP OYEDEPO!

*I kept quiet for a while because I warned in 2015..Now they have faced the Youth.
*Any system that has no value for human lives is irrelevant.
*This is worse than Animal Farm
-Bishop David Oyedepo

We have been having spates of protests across the nation. Every man has a right, legitimately so, to express their displeasure and pains. Everybody has!
I kept quiet for a while because in 2015, I warned this nation VEHEMENTLY, CONSISTENTLY because I saw the dangers ahead and you can tell!

The most gruesome season in the history of this nation is the last 5 years, where lives have no value: wanton killings here and there.
NOW THEY HAVE FACED THE YOUTHS.
And because they don’t know who is next, they have a right to say: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Any system that has no value for human lives is irrelevant.
If they were killed when they were youths, will they be where they are today?
And now, it will be a sacrilege to shoot the protesters who are not looting, who are not ravaging.
I’ve been one of the few voices in the last 5 years, telling these men and women, “until you push a goat to the wall, you won’t know it has teeth to bite.”
I AM HERE TO SAY THE YOUTHS HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY NO!
I wish they said it with me when I was shouting in 2015. I wish they did, they won’t be in this trouble today. So I have my moral reasons for being quiet. I was grievously attacked.
You see, prophets are not opinion leaders, they are the mouth piece of God.
One of my daughters was reading through her 2015 notes yesterday, you know what she concluded: “there is nothing this prophet said that has not come but God have mercy.”
What you need is mercy! God won’t send you warnings through an angel. He sends you warnings through Apostles and Prophets.
I warned you at the risk of my reputation! And I’m glad that God has vindicated Himself.
Check the history of Nigeria, there has been no time of massive loss of lives than the last 5 years including slaughtering people in Church, including beheading a CAN Chairman with video. My God!
Well the bad news for every wicked soul, behind these wanton killings is that your judgment has come.
The Animal Farm of George Orwell is far more civilized than what we are seeing. How many know George Orwell here?
IT’S OVER!!!!

CAN I TELL YOU THIS: I have never been asked by anybody under Heaven to speak for anything in my life. I’ve only come forth at all times, speaking, “thus saith the Lord.”
I tell you: man is temporal, only God is eternal.
No man can see the end of God, it’s God that will see the end of every man.

Thank You Jesus.

Lift up your two hands and ask God:
HAVE MERCY ON NIGERIA.
HAVE MERCY ON OUR NATION.
LET THIS WANTON KILLINGS COME TO AN END.
SECURE THE DESTINY OF OUR YOUTHS.
SECURE THE DESTINY OF THEIR PARENTS.

Everybody pray: Nigeria needs the mercy of God, for walking away from prophetic warnings.

None of your sons and daughters shall be wasted. The mercy of God will cover the length and breadth of Nigeria.
When the Bible says, “when the wicked rule, the people mourn”, there is no other graphic illustration than what we have had in Nigeria.
I said one time: NOTHING IS WORKING…
What is working?
Never bother yourself when they speak against me. Those who did it yesterday, they are no more. I’m saying the mind of God and one billion devils can’t stop me on the way. Relax yourself.

Please understand that we own this nation together. No one owns this nation more than another, whether you are from North West or South West or East West, wherever you may be from. You don’t own this nation more than any other person

I’m just told that the protest is now around ‘Ojuore and Toll Gate’, but relax: WE SHARE THE SAME FEELINGS.
We needed this evil surmising to stop. Everybody wants it to stop. Too many hungry people on the streets. Everybody wants it to stop. We have no other country, this is the only one we have and we must secure it, we must preserve it. In partnership with Jesus, we must preserve it.

PROTESTS:
THOSE WHO WILL CHANGE THE STORY OF AFRICA ARE AMONG THESE YOUTH
Bishop David Oyedepo at 2nd Service, Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland

*As Living Faith Church opens Provincial Centres to mitigate effects of protests in Lagos and Ota.

Messages will be going out now to everyone that is not able to make it down here (Faith Tabernacle Canaanland) because of the protest going for the various provinces to be opened and connected to the service this morning.
All our provincial centres are open this morning for worship.
It will soon be over. God is in Heaven, He is the only Eternal One, everyone else is temporal.
It will soon be over, sooner than we imagined.
The siege over this nation will be over like a dream of the night.
It will soon be over and sooner than imagined in the name of Jesus Christ.

…what time in history has Church service been affected like this season? When you get married to my family, they wash your feet so that you don’t carry any bad feet to the place. It’s a cultural feet washing in case you are bringing any evil from wherever you are coming, we wash it off, you don’t enter this place with it.
There is no way the wicked can rule and the people will rejoice. When the wicked rule, the people mourn.
Absolute disregard for human lives is the identity of this regime…Lord have mercy, preserve the lives of our youths.
You know why I am saying this? People who will change the story of Africa are among them.
The devil does not just kill anybody, he fights not against the small or great but against the kings. When you see an onslaught like this, it is hunting for the kings.
Who can tell whether one of those ones slain is ordained to be President of this Nation that will bring the Nation out of the woods? Who can tell?
It’s not for lack of what to do, it’s finding a way to legitimately express their displeasure to this killer system.
ASK FOR MERCY. HAVE MERCY UPON THIS NATION, UPON YOUR CREATION IN THIS LAND.

Iwillsurvivedis:
Well personally I don't know anyone who has been infected or died of the novel covid-19 virus, with the hype and rate of increase as purported by our government and the secrecy sorrounding those they claim to have it, I have my doubts regarding the figures.

I have personally followed Ghana on worldometer.info and Ghana's covid cases has remained below 1300 and just 9 deaths over the past week(s). So what does Ghana know that we don't.

Also I read a report on yahoo news saying sunlight easily kills the virus and we all know that the sun in Nigeria can boil yam in the right circumstance.

Another thing I noticed is that as soon as the European union gave Nigeria a 27 billion grant, the cases started to rise uncontrollably. Anyway thats my observation.

So do you know anyone with the virus or has the NCDC Being to your area to pick any suspected case.

Let us know.
No. I don't pray to have anyone. Can't trust our govt but it's real then can't compare GHANA death rate with Nigeria interns of population and proximity

CelebritiesDon't Compare Anyone Between Funke Akindele And Omotola by egbetokuns(op): 8:36am On Apr 17, 2020
"In January, Omotola Jalade shared on her IG that she was grateful that at 40, her last child is already in the University. Remember she has four kids and she married quite early.

Funke Akindele (Jenifa) congratulated her on the post. Funke is 41, and just had her first babies in December of last year.

Now, if you try to compare these two women, you'd fail at it because they are both accomplished. Will you say Funke is unfortunate for just having her first babies at 41 while Omotola's last child is already in Uni?

My point? Stop comparing yourself with others! Your life journey isn't the same with anyone, irrespective of societal expectations. Some post on social media very wonderful updates like they are on top of the world but in reality they are miserable. Stop comparing yourself.

Not everyone will get married in their twenties.

Not every couple will have a baby nine months into marriage.

Not everyone will become a millionaire in their thirties.

Some people will get their dream jobs at 40, it doesn't mean they've failed.

Some will become CEOs at 55.

Please learn to focus on your life.

I know it's a difficult thing to do in this era of social media where everyone seems to be doing well in life except you. Don't compare your life journey with others, not even your classmates.

There are only CLASSMATES, there are no LIFEMATES. You're your only mate in life.

Whenever you're tempted to compare yourself with others (which makes you to feel pressured and sad), come back to this post and digest every word. So you better save it, because I will too. "

PoliticsDariye, Kalu, Nyame Not Qualified For Presidential Amnesty –ncs-punch by egbetokuns(op): 3:57pm On Apr 11, 2020
Former state governors convicted of money laundering and corruption did not benefit from the presidential amnesty granted to 2,600 inmates nationwide because they did not meet the requirements, Saturday PUNCH has learnt.

It was gathered that the former governors were not considered for a reprieve because they were convicted of corruption and money laundering aside from the fact that they did not meet some of the criteria stipulated by the Presidential Advisory Committee on Prerogative of Mercy, which advised the President on inmates and ex-convicts deserving pardon.

There had been speculations that high-profile persons, including ex-governors serving various jail terms at the Kuje Custodial Centre, Abuja and other prison facilities might benefit from the pardon announced in Abuja on Thursday, by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
Prominent persons serving various jail terms include former governors of Abia and Plateau states, Senator Orji Kalu and Joshua Dariye; former governor of Taraba State, Jolly Nyame; and a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh.

While Kalu, a serving All Progressives Congress senator, was convicted of N7.1bn money laundering and jailed for 12 years in 2019, Dariye, who was a former senator representing Plateau central district, was jailed for 16 years for N1.126bn fraud in 2018.

Nyame, who was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, was convicted and jailed for 14 years for diverting N1.64bn during his tenure as governor of Taraba State between 1999 and 2007.

Metuh is serving a seven-year jail term for illegally receiving N400m from the office of the national security adviser. He was sentenced by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, in February.

Meanwhile, Aregbesola had said those considered for pardon include inmates who are 60 years and above, those suffering from ill health likely to end in death, serving at least three years with less than six months left, with mental issues, as well as with options of fine not exceeding N50,000.

While the minister did not mention those to be freed, he said the amnesty did not apply to inmates sentenced for violent extreme offences such as terrorism, kidnapping, armed banditry, rape, human trafficking, and culpable homicide.

The spokesman, Nigeria Correctional Service, Chuks Njoku, noted that the former governors were convicted of corruption and related offences, adding that by virtue of this, they were not eligible for pardon or clemency.

He dismissed reports that some of the high-profile inmates could be released on account of their age, clarifying that the dates of birth being bandied about did not tally with the NCS’ official birth records of the ex-governors.

Njoku said, “We have our criteria and they are not qualified (for pardon). They don’t fall under any of the categories. If you were convicted, you must have served some years and you must be of good character and must have shown remorse.

“It is not just about age; there are many of them who are old but they are not qualified. So, for anyone to benefit, they must have served for some time and their crime must not be a capital offence. They (ex-governors) are not qualified because they just came (into the custodial centre) and some of them are still on appeal.”

At no time was the Bishop denied visa, nor did he create a scene at the US consulate in Lagos, as purported by some mainstream and online newspapers.

The Bishop renewed his visa, last year, without any initial denial or drama, or scene. The Bishop was NOT at the Embassy or Consulate yesterday or even anytime this year. Bishop has been in Canaanland all this week. The last time he applied for visa, which was last year, he was issued without delay.

We have been in touch with the US Embassy and they are as surprised as we are about this FAKE NEWS, which some media houses decided to spread.

We encourage the Nigerian media to always tow the line of due diligence before rushing to press and try to at least reach the church from time to time, whenever items try to pass through the rumour mill. Professionalism and wisdom require this so as to maintain integrity and make the media trusted in the society, particularly in this age that fake news has become The News.

Bishop Oyedepo is a good friend of the US government and has a very good relationship with US Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria. He is a social entrepreneur, who has touched so many lives in Nigeria, Africa, United States and all around the world.

AgriculturePig Farm Profitable by egbetokuns(op):
*7 effective attitudes of a successful commercial pig farmer by Yemi Adesina*

There are 3 professions that the Bible often use to compare human’s life journey; they are the athlete, the soldier, and the farmer.

In Africa, most youths are familiar with the profession of athletes (entertainers) and soldiers as these are more glamorous and very attractive professions, in contrast, the farming profession is considered as belittling and it also has a poor image.

However, it is important to note that irrespective of the rosy picture that many of our readers might have regarding pig farming either from watching YouTube videos or visiting farms or reading books that depicts only the attractive features of farm life in vivid colours, farming is indeed a tough profession.

Farmer’s life is characterized by persevering toil; farmer expect work on their farm throughout the day.

Most farmers are up before non-farmers and work longer hours than non-farmers.

Pig farmer has to feed, nurture, protect and take care of their pigs day and night.

This they have to do every day, not when they feel like it.

Unlike a city guys that wait for monthly their pay checks, farmer knows that every animal has cycles that cannot be disrupted. For example, the sows is only ready for mating every 21 days and nearly 4 months to see the outcome of the mating and another 7 months to see the pig reach the market weight to sell.

As a pig farmer, you will have to make decisions in a risky, ever changing environment. The consequences of your decisions will generally not be known when the decisions are made, and outcomes may be better or worse than expected.

Farmers need to have a healthy respect for the things beyond their control (storms, drought, disease, market prices, competition, etc.),

The question is how do farmers throughout the ages survived and endure all of these and keep feeding the world.

Farmers were able to do this because of the attitudes that they possess and we will spend the next few weeks looking at the 7 attitudes of an effective and successful pig farmer.

Attitude is the thought process behind something.

Attitude is the feeling you have toward a goal you want to achieve.

Attitude is the daily Yes, I can do this or No, I can’t do this. Having a successful attitude will always include a thought process of knowing that you will succeed and that you will overcome challenges, whatever you may be faced with.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ~Winston Churchill

I believe in the truism of Charles Swindon quote that. The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

Pig farming like all other farming is a skill of time, patience and a bit of strategic thinking. It is a skill for the dedicated and hard working.Pig farming is not for the feeble hearted, you need a certain level of determination.

Experience have shown that without these attitudes, even if we have all the money to invest, best vet, and breed or spent many days training we might still not be very successful if the attitude is lacking.

As we prepare for our next profitable pig farming that takes place Next Year. Our next training date will be release by January 2020. Planning to hold our next training in . Accra ., Lome , Ibadan , sapele and uyo

We will spend the next few weeks to look at the essential attitude that a commercial pig farmers need to have to be successful.
