This is a joke. Right? |
Garri in the First Aid Box indeed! That Box will be tagged Nigeria's Own First Aid Kit. A very funny, yet educative piece. Thanks Bro. |
That NDLEA official, if found guilty, deserves special & lengthy sentence to serve as deterrent. |
omotititi. Your experience is the exact reason I have chosen not to do broilers. |
No problems if she chooses to remain friendly with her ex. At least, i won't also want to be her enemy if eventuall I join the list of her ex'es |
Tell Tony Payne that GMB won't HALF AS CLUELESS AS GEJ has been. Therefore, there won't be need for much insults. |
davidzfarm18. Ok. Good to have you back. Hope the birds are doing great. Success. |
noblefarm. Please, look for an experienced person around you to lead you through. You may also wish to go through this thread from page 1 till now; you'll pick up some important tips. bosaty2003. Asbestos is better because it is a poor conductor of heat. You may use zinc/roofing sheets. However, plant trees around to serve as coolant. |
bigiyaro. Less than 10% mortality for a first-timer raising fragile Broilers is quite commendable. Thumbs Up. Mercylicious. You are quite correct. However, Globaby isn't the only one who has been "absent" from this forum. jamp; FarmTech; Doziefarms; Obnelly; fnk & others are also missing in action. I'll join you in congratulating (in arrears or advance) Globaby on safe delivery. |
bigiyaro. That is great. I wish you greater things. Success. |
noblefarm. Your question has been answered previously on this thread. You may wish to go through previous pages for this. Meanwhile, how big/small is your planned start-up? |
This isn't good enough. I will assume it was deliberate on part of NYSC/INEC. Why wasn't the clarification made before the elections? We should learn to treat one another with fairness in this country. |
Haryobame. There is the widespread belief that CHI offers the best DOCs in the country. However, the issue farmers have with them (especially, the small time farmers) is that you have to make bookings 2 - 3 months ahead. Otherwise, you are forced to go through some agents, who apart from charging you between #10 to #30 extra on each DOC, may give you DOCs from other hatcheries packaged in CHI cartons. ZARTECH presents an alternative in that their DOCs are relatively cheaper & you can take delivery within 2 weeks of making a booking. (LIMITED EXPERIENCE WITH THE 2, pls) |
Hmmmm. I love this piece. The part on Oby & empirical evidence cracked me. As for corporal punishment & rational discussions, I think there should be a balance in the use of the 2. However, capital punishment should be within reason. My exact sentiment on Dangote's bid to buy Arsenal. The money is better invested in local sports infrastructure. However, as noted, Aliko reserves the right to use the money anyhow he likes. He ain't our elected philanthropist. |
jamp. It has been awhile since you last made a contribution here. Hope you are good. |
sukkotfarm. I'm yet to do black layers in a significant number. However, I have twice had them amidst my Isa Brown flocks. The first were 15 in number. The second; 40 pieces. What I noticed were that the black birds had greater resistance to diseases than their brown counterparts. However, it took them longer to attain their peak production. In the meantime, how much is Zartech DOC now? Success. |
Terrorism isn't hereditary. Therefore, offsprings of BH adherents won't necessarily toe their progenitors path. Terrorism is a result of aligning psychological & sociological factors which are mostly controlled by right family values & good governments. |
pedel. I so love your comment. Leadership isn't bestowed freely; it must be earned. Thanks. |
sukkotfarm. Do you mean Zarm Hatchery at Ilemona, Kwara State? I learnt DOC from there & CHI are probably the best in this part of the country, though, I'm yet to do biz with either. Since you are at Akure, I believe ZARTECH Ibadan is the nearest to you. You may wish to call 08055990399. Their birds are great. Just start them with any antibiotics containing Gentimaicine. Success. AkayTopsy. As Haryobame noted earlier, your birds should be doing better. I'll advise you look into the ventilation, quality/quantity of water intake. I assume they are in good health & are being given quality feed. Success. endy247. Week of first lay differs from birds to birds depending on whether they are early or late moulters and some other factors. You may consider photostimulation provided majority of the birds are at least 1.5kg in weight. I must say, however, that at 19 weeks, you have nothing to worry about yet. Success. |
sixtus3606. Thanks for your suggestion. I'll do as advised. Meanwhile, I'll like to point it out that I eventually did decipher what is written in the "puzzle" |
barcanista. I chuckled when I read your question. Boxers are categorised according to their body weights. A boxer may decide to add/lose weight in order to move up/down a classification. However, there are (dis)advantages to either move. To your question; Mayweather's natural body frame makes it unadvisable for him to go up to the heavyweight class as the extra weight needed to do so will make him too slow to be effective in the ring. |
Chief slowpoke! |
Probably wasn't thinking straight when he did that. The Police there ain't like ours who can't spot a clue. |
sukkotfarm. The birds have been laying for 25 weeks now. The present production is about 86.5%. The egg size is large when the birds are in good health. They are brown. |
So all the boxing greats who hailed Mayweather also sided with HBO. Right? People should accept that there are more than one ways to skinning a game. |
A beautiful piece. Well written. |
What was she waiting for all these years? From experience, I'll say she is only looking for a soft landing; she wants out but doesn't want to take full responsibility for the decision. My piece of advice; let her go see the pastor & don't try to convince her otherwise if she decides to move on. |
Can you cope with her forgetfulness? If yes, go ahead since it seems you love her enough to remain together for 4 years. Meanwhile, FIANCÉE is different from FINANCE, please. |

Incisive. |
