hmmmm. Thought-provoking |
nickxtra. Thanks for the clarification. |
judithume. From this pix, I haven't seen anything to be worried about. Healthy birds sometimes do that. Has there been any other "unusual" things noticed about them? Emcycool. What type of cages are you looking at? I'll advise you read through previous cages on this thread for an answer to your question. Meanwhile, you may budget between #900 & #1000 for raising each bird to laying stage. Success. |
samuel25. I align with what jamp said above, especially with you saying you have increasing number of eggs on daily basis. Are there dots on the eggs? If not, just stick with what jamp said. Success. |
Good afternoon newmuzik |
kITATITA. Thanks for the clarification. Much appreciated. |
Sheu Garba? I thought he contested & won a seat in the March 28 senatorial election. I may be mistaken, though. |
Some salient points raised by the Emir therel. 1. PDP has been progressively performing poorer in successive elections since 2003. Proof of the party's perceived non-performance even when competing against weak oppositions. 2. Victory for the opposition brings about healthy rivalry. That is the key to effective democratic practices. APC shouldn't gloat over the PDP because another 4 years will soon pass & the tide may be turned if the former has failed to deliver. |
endy247. My opinion is that those anti-biotics mentioned will only give temporary relief. Vaccination is the only permanent cure. What I suspect is that those birds showing signs of Coryza were probably not. injected earlier. However, I'll be glad to be proven wrong & that the anti-biotics do indeed give permanent solution. Do let us know how it pans out. |
Such a great piece. There are basically two sets of people celebrating GEJ for conceding electoral defeat. They are; his die-hard supporters who are holding on to the last straw by finding something, no matter how irrelevant, to celebrate about their principal; 2. those who lack understanding of democratic principles & consequently think that a President is like a god whose Will cannot be questioned & hence, his weakness/failings should be seen as benevolence. The latter group are in the majority. However, we shall get there one day when Nigerians won't see their elected officials as benefactors, but contracted & well-paid public SERVANTS. Until then, the informed minority will have to keep bearing with, while also enlightening the vast ignorant and/or sentimental majority. |
President GEJ gives the impression of a good man at heart but a bad judge of character & someone too laid back to confront his erring subordinates. I wouldn't know the inner workings at Aso Villa, but judging from the outside, it seems the man never fully understood what it meant to be the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. He might have done much better as governor of one of the smaller states. |
This is a good one. Meanwhile, any negatives to it? |
#3000/carton?! How come? White cockrels often cost #15 each & the black, #30/one. Since when does a carton of 50 DOCs sold for 3k? While I don't have significant experience in cockrels rearing, I can submit that one difference I've noticed between the black & white variant is that demand for the former is much higher. Success. |
Right. We need a strong opposition to bring the best out of the ruling/governing party & to deepen our democracy. |
Granada made it too easy for Real. CR7 could have scored 10. |
The blame game won't help the PDP. Washing their dirty linen in the open will rather weaken the party even more. Whatever they want to say to one another should be done internally. Nigeria won't benefit from having only one dominant party. PDP needs to remain strong for sake of our democracy. |
I'll settle my debts first. |
What I think is more imperative is entrenching internal democracy within the political parties, be they, 2 or 20. This includes party supremacy, ideological differentiation of the parties, among others. |
endy247. Coryza vaccine which I bought at #7500 for a thousand dose worked just fine. The anti-biotics used before the vaccination gave only temporary relief. Success. |
samuel25. How long after has it been since you administered the Lasota? Was it with Vacci-Boost? Are you sure the vaccination didn't fail? Normally, the greenish droppings before application of Lasota should progressively clear-off after its application. |
A lesson for religious & traditional rulers to always be diplomatic & maintain neutrality when it comes to issue of politics. |
I read to the end. LWKMD. |
It still baffles me that Ngige's constituents didn't see the possibility of him becoming the Senate President. I wouldn't know if APC did enough to sell the idea to the electorates. |
Ikebe Too Much. |
I'll advise Nigerians not to expect too much of the incoming administration too soon. At least, wait till the cabinet is constituted. |
Happenstance. Nothing more. |
A consultant to Act Technologies Limited, one of the firms engaged by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the supply of Card Reader Machines, Muhammad Musa, has sued the Department State Services. Musa, in his fundamental rights enforcement suit which he filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, alleged that he was illegally detained by the DSS since March 24, 2015. According to an affidavit filed in support of his suit, Musa is being held in DSS detention along with the Chief Executive Officer of the consultant to Act Technologies Limited. Musa wants the court to award N100m damages against the security organisation for illegally detaining him. He also wants the court to order his release and declare his arrest, detention and continued intimidation by the respondent (the DSS) in relation to the card reader issue, as illegal, unconstitutional and a violation of his fundamental rights. The suit, FHC/ABJ/CS/292, was filed on his behalf on March 27 by his lawyer, Mahmud Magaji (SAN). The plaintiff was said to have, on March 24, received a phone call from the Director General of the DSS inviting him to the organisation’s headquaters in Abuja and had since been held in detention upon honouring the invitation. He was said to have since 1pm on March 24 been held without any charge. Wife of the applicant, Mrs. Sa’adatu Musa, deposed to a supporting affidavit because he was still being held in the DSS detention. The wife said the respondent’s officials had refused her access to her husband since he honoured the DSS boss’ invitation. Musa, who is praying the court to award N100m as general and exemplary damages against the DSS for its unlawful acts, also seeks an order of perpetual injunction restraining the respondent and its agents from engaging in further harassing, intimidating, arresting and detaining him in relation to the card reader used by INEC. He hinged his prayers on three grounds, one of which included that DSS agents unlawful interference with his liberty in connection with the procurement of the card readers constituted an infringement of his fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution. The plaintiff’s wife said her husband was not an employee of Act Technologies, but a consultant, who was being held with the company’s Chief Executive Officer. The wife, who prayed the court to order the immediate release of her husband, including granting all the prayers in the application, said if not restrained by the court, the DSS would continue to detain her husband without arraigning him before any court if the respondent has anything against him. The case was said to have been assigned to Justice Adeniyi Ademola, but has yet to be fixed for hearing |
bigiyaro. What type of birds are they? Seems to me you are describing some form of paralysis here. One disease that affects the nervous system is NCD. However, I'm confused with the aspect of whitish faecal matters. Maybe we listen to what others have to say. |
House. Has anyone heard of/used CAPS Feeds before? Can you say anything about it. Thanks as I await feedbacks. |
sleekman. This is a very beautiful info. Thanks |
What is their faeces like? |
