judithume. How many are the birds in total? What is the quantity of feeds you are giving to them? Since when have they been laying? Since when did you notice a drop in their production? |
aAK1. You seem to have a few questions here. I'll advice you quickly go through this thread from the beginning. Most, if not all your questions, have been answered previously. Doing this will not only ensure you have answers to the questions you have asked here, but you'll also receive answers to those you have not thought of asking. Success. |
GMB walking majestically through the airport cos it was earlier upgraded by GEJ! That'll be the next TANoids will say |
missberrypop5. Such an intelligent observation. Sure the pictures have been doctored. |
Hogwash. This "information" is easily verifiable given the hospital which name is mentioned can easily be contacted by appropriate persons for confirmation. However, I'm convinced this is another hogwash. |
Some stories. Anyway, it is obvious from tone of the report that the group in question was sympathetic to APC's course. Therefore, no wonder it would denigrate the PDP. It is expected in politics. However, are the group's members sure they would have rejected the money if any was offered? And would their stance still remain same? |
The President, no doubt, could lay claim to some achievements. However, are they sufficient to ensure his re-election. I'll largely say "NO". From his body language to corruption to management of the economy; this administration hasn't done well enough. Notwithstanding the above, it is worth noting that elections in Nigeria are not won on competence/performance alone. Issues like religion, ethnicity, widespread poverty, ignorance of democratic tenets, weak institutions, etc all play some parts which may mean GEJ retains the Presidential seat. |
Funny. |
Too many loose ends in the report to make the story believable. Could have happened, though. |
ITbomb. That is a pertinent question; were the registrations done in proxy? And to think that is the home state of one of the leading Vice Presidential candidates. Something is wrong somewhere. |
(Dikam Garba Dabo’ok (107) and Ka’a Nafung (95) got married in a church ceremony. Photo: Nation) History was made in Plateau State, Nigeria recently as 107-year old Dikam Garba Dabo’ok and 95- year old Ka’a Nafung got married in a church ceremony which took place at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Chizu village in Bwai, Mangu Local Government Area of the state. As reported by The Nation, the couple had lived together as husband and wife for 70 years before making their union official as they rekindled their love in the ceremony. The celebrants are the first couple in the history of the state to have marital vows administered on them while they are both that advanced in age and the ceremony has remained the talk of the town and will surely remain so for a long while to come. At 95, the bride is well past her menopause and her surviving first child is 65 years old already. The groom, popularly known to many in his neighbourhood as Baba Dikam, is 107 years old and may no longer be sexually active but all that was not enough to dissuade the couple from walking down the aisle arm-in- arm for a new marital oath. They had a procession and matched into the church separately as if they never met before and only came together after they were wedded by the officiating pastor, Tongwe Sale. The groom was dressed in black suite and a red neck tie to match while the bride stepped out dressed in a pure white wedding gown with a neatly made hair to match. They drove to the church in separate vehicles, as if they never met before. The groom was accompanied by cutely dressed men and the bride by a long bridal train. It was celebration galore at the reception for the family and friends of the couple as the couple told their excited guests at the reception their true life stories. They said it was the grace of God that allowed them to solemnise their marriage in the church. According to the groom: ‘I had seven wives and 32 children during my younger days, but I did so because I did not know Christ. But that made me great among my contemporaries as only those who were wealthy could do that. But in spite of that, God remained faithful and merciful for me. ‘I have a lot of testimonies to show that God was so faithful to me. I am now in a better position to advise my children and my well wishers to live the life of Christ. I don’t want any of my children to emulate my past life style, because you may fall out of the grace and mercies of God. But I’m so pleased because my children are committed to Christ; they lived the life of Christ, they were the ones that insisted I must come to Christ and take their mother to the altar. ‘Before now we lived our lives outside Christ, but from today, we are now confirmed children of Christ. It would have been worse for us if we had died without Christ. But God has protected our lives up till this moment to come to Him.’ |
Nigeria in trouble then. Successive administrations have been playing lip-service to issue of diversifying the economy. However, their impacts have been minimal at best. Now, we go hear am. |
It is obvious APC hasn't given indepth training to its Call Center Agents. It shows a worrying tardiness in the Party's execution of an otherwise great idea. However, could you have gotten something better when there are numerous unemployed/underemployed Nigerians who will take up any job without any real interest in it. |
I used it on a lady just after my secondary school. She couldn't resist the sensation. |
My former neighbour was the first to advert ny attention to the forum. He would always burst into laughter while reading comments on the site. So I became curious. However, I didn't join formally until much later & what pushed me into signing up was reading comments where people raved about making FP. I wanted to know what was so special about it. |
So where in the story did he say Buhari will win the Presidential election? He only said the dynamics & individuals involved now are different to what happened in 1993. Sensationalising news reports for sake of grabbing attention could be counterproductive. |
eaglechild. Thanks for the comment. However, these allegations have been on for over 2 years. Why wasn't he arrested at the time when politics wasn't on the front-bunner? And if arresting Buhari is considered too sensitive, why not others like Senator Alli Modu Sherrif? My point is these stories will remain mere unproven allegations until government take decisive actions against those behind Boko Haram. |
My question has always been that why hasn't the PDP-led FG ordered the arrest of the APC leaders with links to Boko Haram despite these "evidences". At least, that would have given the party an easy ride in these elections. Until such arrests are made, some people will still question authenticity of any claims linking APC leadership with the Boko Haram. |
This guy may go down in the history of Nigeria as the most divisive governor. |
Hmmm. I'm surprised to know there are still Nigerians who believe the Chibok Girls ain't real. |
I'll suggest you read through this thread; "Starting A Poultry Farm" in the Agriculture section. You should find all the answers you need there. Success. |
This is a great idea. At least, it'll put to rest all controversies about the workabilility or otherwise of the Card Readers. |
The only painful thing on personal basis is that I'm yet to see the money despite residing in the SW which is reportedly the battleground for vote canvassers. |
I wish you will balance this expose up by stating the prices of these same items when GEJ took over power & what they are now? For example, what is the Naira/Dollars exchange rate when GEJ came into power & what is it now? What is the value of (stock) market capitalization when this administration came into being & what is it now? How much was the foreign reserve in 2010 & what is it now? I ain't saying GMB is better or worse, am only saying you should be fair in your assessment by considering the 2 sides. |
Your moniker is NewNigeriaMan. However, your disposition is tribalistic. Nigeria has gone beyond the point of encouraging tribal allegiance. Each individual, irrespective of his tribe, should be free to associate with people of like-minds in their political ideology. |
Sparrow13. Some very intelligent points you have made there. Meanwhile, my thought on the initial issue raised is that overtime, due to the poor handling of the Boko Haram issue by the Nigeria Army - as seen in attempts at mutiny, leaked operational plans & actual fleeing from the battleground - the military has lost credibility in the sight of the international media. It'll take more than few successes against the insurgents to change this perception. |
pathology. The whole idea of using battery cages is just to conserve the birds' energy which they then transmute into producing more eggs. It also ensures in prevention and transmission of certain diseases such as coccidiosis. Similarly, it reduces costs of labour. However, there is higher tendency of rickets (weak leg bones) in birds kept in cages. This often happen at the tail end of the laying period, especially if their feeds isn't calcium-fortified. |
adebayoseun. The estimates given you above are just right ceteris paribus. |
Such an important & germane question you have there. It is unfortunate that after a century of being together politically, issues like this still crop up. Personally, one disturbing thing is seeing Nigerians below the age of 40 years promoting tribal sentiments in this era of globalization. And most pathetic are government officials who have sworn to protect the constitution going against their oaths in the name of politics. I just pray that Nigeria will have an inspirational leader who can help us overcome this prejudice. |
justified19. Some people say the stress resulting from administering the injectable vaccines will negatively impact on production rate which may be permanent. However, from my personal experience, and the opinions of 2 experienced hands in my area, I hold that this isn't entirely true. |
