Sibrah: eGift, I quite agree with you on the Signboard of a thing as regards static web pages with no code to adapt many contents to one page at different times. I was looking at aspect like look and feel of final pages, neatness, and ability to tie pages to databases. Also i was eyeing things like different IDEs and the strength n' flexibility of what they offer.
Without going into other options, I will advise that once you have Domain + Hosting in place, Install Wordpress, a good premium theme, Visual composer, plugins and get your site up and running.

- You can always overhaul your site later by just changing the theme.
- It will be dynamic, etc.

And whenever you finish crafting your hand-codes, you can can upload it. All the best.

It is only ignorance will make anyone drink Sodium Chloride. Top even add uncooked table salt to your food when eating is a No-No.

Do you know that even travelers/sailors in the ocean carry fresh water for drinking the water in the ocean is salty?

Please don't listen to rumours and don't spread any. Just maintain basic hygiene regularly.
Webmasters › Re: Drag N' Drop Versus Coding Of HTML by egift(m): 9:25pm On Aug 19, 2014
What you are asking is like - using an electric blender and a mortar to grind a basket of tomatoes - which is better.

If you understand both at the same dept and efficiency, you will completed web project with Drag-n-Drop at 5% the total time you spent on Notepad and HTML codes. (BTW, without adding php and other codes, with HTML only - you are just designing a "Sign Board").

Try "Virtual Composer + WP + a Premium Theme" VS "Notepad + HTML" VS "Dreamweaver or Expression"

Still anytime you still need to get under the hood and tweak things, you will still have to Code at some point, like the rest of us.

All of a sudden, SunnyBobo has turned FFK biggest fan - pdp thugs flip and flop more than a fish on a dry land.

Be not deceived, the quest to remove the claws of pdp clinching on Nigeria and is devouring us since 15 years ago will not be easy. Nobody expect it to be. It is a task that will be difficult - but most be done.

Under President Jonathan, Patriotism in Nigeria has been bastardized and reduced to mere loyalty to Jonathan and his wife.

Nigeria will overcome and when it is done, those who follow the money will be here telling us how there is no permanent enemy in politics.

Politics › Re: “You Are Subjecting Ndigbo To Perpetual Beggarly Status”–APC Blasts Igbo Leaders by egift(m): 10:42am On Aug 18, 2014
PointB: Calling APC "jihadists with supporter of APC ideology" is akin to calling PDP "killer party, with corrupt members", it doesn't have to be founded on empirical evidence, it simply - POLITICS 101.
So you are supporting PDP? - the party you acknowledge is "killing Nigerians and is looting everything".
Politics › Re: “You Are Subjecting Ndigbo To Perpetual Beggarly Status”–APC Blasts Igbo Leaders by egift(m): 8:57am On Aug 18, 2014
PointB: We didn't put all our Eggs in one basket, we have people like Ogbonnaya Onu, Chris Ngige, Rochas, Amaechi etc in APC. Even here in Nairaland, folks like Berem, Egift, Cleverly, etc ably represent Igbo interest in APC Nairaland.

Or is it until all of Igbo join APC sheepishly, that these jihadists with their supporter of APC ideology will be happy? Anyway, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. APC has not proved itself to the Igbo nations, I don't see why we Igbos should embrace it without restraint.

By the way, 'keeping' the Nigerian presidency away from Igbos will continue to spur us on to greater height. If in doubt ask those who have had the presidency the longer "How far?"
I agree with you. But you still did not pass the opportunity to embrace PDP (one political option) and call APC "these jihadists with their supporter of APC ideology" (your other political option).

Any many of us from Aligbo and Nigeria at large, do not worry much - Once APC is in power, majority of Ndigbo will migrate to APC with a very colourful slogan "in politics, there is no permanent enemy".

APC...Nigeria...Progress!

ramdris: This really got me laughing my heart out. The story should have read " Presidency promise kabiru amnesty with huge cash if he can rope any opposition to support dss claims about apc supporting boko haram. Especially as 2015 election is around the corner. grin grin

Nothing can be more comical than this. Someone that has been in detention for over a year and suddenly realize he has the information that can get him freed and pardoned after he has been convicted.

I will not be surprise if this guy is freed afterall mustapha was released when it was obvious he had a case to answer,.former convicted bayelsa governor was given presidential pardon and he still represented his state in national conference and same goes for bode George. To Jonathan, everything is about politics. No wonder d late azazi said pdp is boko haram and I am beginning to think so too.
PDP has been patiently waiting for APC to name its candidate, so that Kabiru and other Boko Haram members will be sent on Henry Okah's failed mission of tagging opponents to terror.

So how did the police got him convicted without finding out who he works for and the crimes he committed? Or the FG is just grooming an attack tool to perceived opponents as has become a trademark of Jonathan.

They guy and his sponsors should have been hanged if we are not currently under a very greedy ruler.

Politics › Chad Frees Most Of The 100 Boko Haram Captives by egift(op): 10:36am On Aug 16, 2014
MAIDUGURI, Nigeria (AP) — Nigeria's Boko Haram militant group kidnapped 100 people earlier this month but most were freed by security forces from neighboring Chad, a Nigerian security official and a local self-defense member said Friday.

The abductions took place on Aug. 10 in Doron Baga in the Kukawa area near the border with Chad, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

He said the terrorists were stopped as they crossed the Chad border by Chadian soldiers who killed most of them and set free most of the captives.

Muhammed Gava, a member of the anti-Boko Haram vigilante movement, said 20 females and about 70 young men had been forced to board speed boats in Lake Chad, which lies on the border between Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon.

Nigeria's fight against the extremist group began in 2009 but hit the international spotlight in mid-April, when the militants kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls. The girls have still not been freed.

Boko Haram wants to enforce an Islamic state in Nigeria, whose population of more than 170 million people is almost evenly divided between a mainly Muslim north and largely Christian south.

The group has intensified its violent campaign this year and is increasingly targeting civilians. More than 4,000 people — mostly civilians — have been killed this year alone by all sides in the conflict, which include Nigerian security forces, Amnesty International said on Aug. 5. This compares to an estimated 3,600 people killed in the first four years of the Islamic insurgency.

While the group's attacks are mostly in northeast Nigeria, Boko Haram has detonated bombs as far away as Lagos, the commercial capital in Nigeria's southwest.

If Marwa do not get the the PDP's Ticket, he will come off as the biggest looser of the Adamawa Governorship election. If he stayed in APC, he would have been on track to Government House.

With Ribadu, APC has this on lock-down - Ribadu the next Governor of Adamawa State - (even PDP has endorsed it). Up APC!
