Yesterday I lost a grant application. Sadly, everything was due and certain disbursement will be done that yesterday - I had hoped my life and business would have turned around completely for good and it was significant enough to attend to my immediate needs. Where it pained me is that a woman who was both my contact person and one who was acting to be "helping me" was actually the only one in the board who took it upon herself to criticize my application and insist that even if I should be granted, it should be next year. Myself and others were just look looking in amazement. She even when to the extent to be saying "He is into ICT services", "How many people need a website", "How many people are using Internet", "How many people even have a computer", etc. All my efforts to present facts and clarify fell on deaf ear - she even use an Internet-enabled Computer on her desk. The point of this thread is that since that yesterday, I have been doing all I can do suppress the pain, disappointment and move pass it. But if I subdue the terrible feelings will it cause me any mental or psychological breakdown? Is it wrong to suppress pains and heartbreaks? How best can I handle the feeling? Kindly share your opinion. I just don't want to run mad now or in future. This will be one of my most steep heartbreak so far. |
ubcandid: please do enlighten me lady, which seaport is the largest in the country which he owns? am curiousDon't mind them. She even claimed ifeanyi ubah controls 40% of Nigeria oil sector. This people can lie. Am just curios why she also chose to insult the whole of Ndigbo by addressing us as |
After Nigerians marched the streets and brought out GEJ from Madam YarAdua's kitchen, Jonathan in his weakness, Mr. President have remain at the service of the Cabals. He is so scared of them, he can't even bark. And for my friends shouting 2015, Jonathan have no new ideas. |
Can someone please tell us why the author, Ijeoma Okonkwo, should insult the entire Ndigbo by addressing us as advopaul: “To be curious means to look beyond what we think we know”, “to be curious is to discover” these are the words upon which discovery Channel was built on. Am really not a big fan of discovery channel, but these words really got me thinking as to how far one needs to look to truly discover who he is and most importantly what others will discover about him. It was based on this thoughts that I decided to reply or better still educate and illuminate some of my friends on Nairaland that picking up your mobile phone and writing uninformed article about people and posting them on social network simply because it is free isn’t a show intelligence. Sometimes I wonder if we realize that writing or making untrue statements about people with the aim of reducing the integrity of such persons in the eyes of the public amounts to both civil and criminal offence generally known as Defamation i.e. Libel and Slander. After all to be curious means to look beyond what we think we know. I have read lots of beautiful articles on Nairaland and other social networks and blogs, but I will only respond to the article written by a Nairalander titled “IFEANYI UBAH HAS GONE BROKE”. I must confess, the author did a wonderful work with the title, but the content was nothing to write home about. It was indeed a nice write up, but it would have made lot of sense if the author was curious and courageous enough to look beyond what he thought he knew. My conclusion after going true the article was the fact that the author had a misconception about his subject matter which in this case was Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, it was obvious that his write up was written with sentiments and most importantly lack of knowledge and respect for his subject matter.Furthermore, it was obvious from his piece that he is from Anambra State and most importantly he is intimidated by the achievements of his subject matter. This may be attributed to the fact that he is approaching his early forty with nothing to show for it or simply because he fills that no Nigerian could have amassed such wealth at such tender age or probably because he thought he could make the front page for the first time with such defamatory write up, but am sure by now he knows better. |
Igwe iga di ooo! Everyone should disregard these Fidelity Bank staffs and their umbrellar partners. Dr. Ngige all the way! |
OP is this an attempt at Journalism? It looks like pain-in-the-tooth ![]() |

donphilopus: Either Buhari/Oshimole or Buhari/Rochas i wold have said or Buhari/Fashola, but Nigerians won't like 2 MuslimsIf you are talking of a ticket that will get the number, Buhari/Fashola all the way. Buhari has a legacy of giving his deputies free hand to do their best. There have never been a Nigerian leader that replicated that - Ask Tunde Idiagbon. Since it will be hard for Ndigbo to get the Presidency in 2015, I did prefer a leader that will have thing functional. Ndigbo will beat any competition once there is a level-playing ground. |
Here in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu - we only have light sparsely. Am spending unnecessarily of fuel at home and work. |
Ikengawo: Red = PDP AGPA@Bold: I blame your parents for not teaching you how to be responsible in public. (Respect is reciprocal - What you sow is what you reap). |
Until as a nation we hold our leaders accountable in the management of our resources, Jonathan and his team will steal us dry. |
@ Hezron Lorraine: The issue is very simple - if the government since they arrested him can not find any evidence against him, let them let him go. And if the government until now have no credible evidence all this while to make these people, this government have failed. |
^^^ And who told you am asking for a wireless service? I believe you are not blind. Create a thread and promote your wears, stop polluting my thread. |
soloqy: Hosgator , Bluehost Legendwap: vhey try www.eclubhost.com 30days money back.I will lookup their plans and features. Thanks guys. |
Hezron Lorraine: We forget something. A court of law is presided by a Judge who has the final say.Its one thing to bring for a case, its another for the judge to deem the case palatable and worthy of debate.Kabiru Sokoto is obviously held in contempt by almost everyone whether or not evidence proves him guilty or innocent.which sums up to,his case won't find the favour of the court. So court prosecution is now based on prejudice and not on available evidence? So if the government arrest you, tanish you name with falsehood, get enough people to hate you - the court can now base on that convict you? Is that what you are telling us? Until the Jonathan and his team start gather evidence, properly initiate arrests, take them to court immediately and present their case as required by law - until they do that, nothing will improve. If they keep on with this current charade, then I put it to you that the President is either supporting what is going on or protecting the real perpetrators of the the killing and stealing going on. |
Jonathan have a better smile of deception. You should be nominating Jonathan for the worst leadership of all time. #Corruption tinz |
Hezron Lorraine: It will only make publicity. His suit is as good as disregarded. My question is why should it be disregarded? If the government have evidence against him, why not present it and have him prosecuted? He is only a bad guy because the FG says so - then where is the evidence? Since Nigerians have been dieing like chicken, how many people have been prosecuted? The administration is not only corrupt, it is also deceptive. Again the President said "He know those that are using bombs to kill Nigerians and their sponsors". Since people are still dieing, why are these sponsors are not facing firing squads? |
chima12: You haven't answered my question. What type of answers are you waiting for? For all I understand, the private company could have wanted to do it in Abuja, the State government partnered in order to benefit from the revenue. Moreover it will be lease, rented or sold faster in Abuja. Am only happy it is a completed project and not another "will", "to" kind of announcements like someone is always doing. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1343638_KANO_6_jpga406f4cf008bddc78d7c92692d5d3302 |
Jonathan unequivocally said "I know those behind all the bombings". Either Jonathan is shielding them from prosecution or he is the one behind it. |
damyoyepitan: Mail ololadeoyepitan @yahoo.co.uk.he can sort itThanks for trying to help. But recommendation/links you cannot post here, then and certainly NOT interested. Thanks. |

Lies deposited in the vault of Fidelity Bank. |
President is running Government of the "Committees, by the Committees for the Committees" The major problem is that the recommendations are not implemented. |
All hail fidelity bank. Abeg also salute their staff hear telling us the man is playing hide and seek. Pathetic. |
That is a full description of the PDP in Nigeria. |
Billyonaire: Civilized minds will always decipher the contents of message before responding to a post. And you my friend, will always find a way to praise dumb statements from corrupt politicians in Nigeria. Billy-wannabe. |
1. Nigeria will like Jonathan to know he is free to vacate the seat if he can not face Boko Haram, criminals and corrupt politicians. 2. Also CAN should face the gospel of Christ and leave Politics alone. In Nigeria, we want leaders that takes the issue of uniting, developing and empowering Nigerians seriously. Not those that attract only criminals, boko boys, worst politicians - and granting them pardon too. |
Ahmed Gulak has lied so much in one year to keep the money Jonathan is giving him that I can't believe anything he is saying. If he is telling the truth why can't he name them? |
OP are sure you are alright? Of all things this is what is causing you sleepless night? |
