Guys, if you love her so much to empty your bank account, just marry her abeg. If not don't spend your future trying to reinvent Romeo. Tomorrow if she see a man who is ready, off she goes and get married.

pc guru: I don't recall having any list, i tell my babe how it is, if am broke she knows and i don't hide it because that is what relationship is all about. There are times i had to cancel dates because No access to a car, and she has suggested Bus so many times,I don't know what foundation your relationship is based on, but mine is based on openness. that's why i love my babe kiss
I like that. Guys especially those who are not very buoyant should not be ashamed to split the bill with their girl friend. That way she can put her demands in check. Whenever you have enough, you can throw in surprises.
Romance › Re: What Is The Cost Of Having A Girlfriend In Nigeria? by egift(op):
Important Emphases:
- Parents give birth only to the number of children you can raise.
- Take good care of your girl-child and provide for all her needs.
- Guy, give to your sisters - so they don't get exploited outside just for BIS recharge, Brazilian hairs, etc.
- Ladies live within your means.
- Guys tell your girlfriend the truth about what you have. Do not try to impress her by claiming what you are not.

Romance › What Is The Cost Of Having A Girlfriend In Nigeria? by egift(op): 6:24pm On May 08, 2013
I had wished that friendship between two people will just be about loving and motivating one another, hopefully lead to a permanent relationship (in marriage). But as I have observed over the years, having a girl friend is getting costlier by the day.

The guy is just a boy-friend, not even a husband.

This thread is aimed for us to build a comprehensive list of what we have come to observed as responsibilities, demands, expenses, pressures, roles, positions, and expectations that our men have been going through today just because they got a girl-friend.

The shame is squarely on you and your fellow sychophants who keep dragging Buhari's name into every failure of Jonathan and his thugs in PDP.
Politics › Re: Reps, Gov Aliyu Want Dokubo-Asari & Kuku Arrested by egift(m): 11:58am On May 08, 2013
Can anyone post any evidence (link, audio or video), where Buhari called for violence or to make Nigeria ungovernable if he is not elected? - Or una just the repeat the bare-face lies of PDP

Some of us now wants to defend treason because it is Dokubo (with the backing of Jonathan) that is committing it. Yet we want a better Nigeria.

Inik: I think President Jonathan is trying to resolve this issue although you and i may not agree with his approach. As a patriotic Nigerian citizen you should be able and willing to volunteer suggestions to resolve national issues. You never know who might be viewing this thread. Security should be our collective responsibility.
Agreed. But shey "Baboon go dey cho, monkey go dey suffer?"

If he can not do it let him step aside. If he have a different approach, then he should show us the results.

fckyourman: Okay OBy doesn't have a fault right
Whatever are the faults of OBJ, Jonathan now has the the opportunity to correct that and he is not doing much differently. Some folks are still blaming Lord Lugard for the problem of today.

I don't even mind should Jonathan lay bear valid evidence, jails all the politicians that have run this nation to the ground, death sentence for anyone that embezzle our money, keep a clean hands himself and use the resource of this nation to develop Nigeria.

Instead what we have is granting pardon to known criminals, employing/surrounding himself with thieves, over priced budget allocation to projects, militants as spoke persons, offering amnesty/tons of billions to criminals even when they are rejecting it, borrowing like no tomorrow, etc.

This post is a PDP pranks and mere speculations.

Yes Buhari is a big asset to APC when it comes to Northern votes. But I am expecting what happened in Anambra to in 2015 - where Ojukwu lifted the hand of Governor Obi to make it his last wish.

When Buhari, Tinubu and other top APC politicians move from state to state and lift the hands of Fashola and another young Northern to request a last wish, I see a landslide in the favour of APC.

Solving the problem of Boko Haram is the responsibility of President Jonathan. If he is unable to do those basic job, he should resign.

If he start working and seek the opinion of "we the people", we will gladly suggest.

Alternatively, if he is doing nothing and you are asking us for solutions, you can start fist by putting some of the benefits, salary, bonuses and privileges he is enjoying on the table, so we can be enjoying it and dishing out solution for you.

Politics › Re: Buhari Is The Last Hope Of The Fight Against Curruption In Nigeria by egift(m): 7:21pm On May 04, 2013
OP is on point.

If Buhari wins an election today, all our top politicians will either "repent" over-night or take an emergency foreign trip to observe things from afar.

For me even if Buhari don't contest, I will like to see Fashola and another young Northern chap to take over the mantle of leadership. While Ndigbo will takeover Senate or Judiciary.

Whoever it is, it is important PDP is allowed to play opposition party, they will do a good job with "rough tackles" - keeping APC on their toes.

.NG is Nigeria's domain extension. Even with the burden many of us will carry for running our websites on it - My question is why in God's name should it cost N15,000 to register it when a website owner can get easily get a .com for less than N2k

Can someone explain to me why it should cost that much?

We were having some discussion today about some of the recent political events in the country and someone raised this question:

With the way Federal Government is begging criminals and terrorists across the Nation to accept amnesty (while law-abiding citizens are left to fend on their own), if your are invited to submit your name to Niger Delta or Boko Harams Amnesty Package where the Federal Government will be paying you N80,000 to N250,000 every month (for doing nothing) - will you?

Corruption Massive Under Jonathan – US
The United States government on Friday indicted the President Goodluck Jonathan led Federal Government of massive and widespread corruption.

According to the United States Department of State, government officials and agencies frequently engage in corrupt practices with impunity.

This was contained in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2012, which was released on Friday evening.

In the report, the judiciary and security agencies, especially the police, were said be lacking in transparency.

It read in part,“The law provides criminal penalties for official corruption; however, the government did not implement the law effectively, and officials frequently engaged in corrupt practices with impunity. Massive, widespread, and pervasive corruption affected all levels of government and the security forces. The constitution provides immunity from civil and criminal prosecution for the president, vice president, governors, and deputy governors while in office.

“There was a widespread perception judges were easily bribed and litigants could not rely on the courts to render impartial judgments. Citizens encountered long delays and alleged requests from judicial officials for bribes to expedite cases or obtain favourable rulings.

“Police corruption remained rampant. Reports of checkpoint bribery and shooting incidents decreased in February after newly appointed Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar announced the closure of all police checkpoints across the country; however, illegal checkpoints remained common in some regions. Police routinely stopped drivers who did not commit traffic infractions, refusing to allow them to continue until they paid bribes,” it stated.

The OP, Iamoilprince, is an evil person who are out to tarnish my image Jonathan's image - Dr. Olusanya Awosan (SA to the President, Public Relations)

Complete details below:

PRESS STATEMENT FROM OFFICE OF THE SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT ON PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Okupe did not label Buhari as Sponsor of Boko Haram

The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs has denied a report circulating online that Dr, Doyin Okupe has identified Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari as the main sponsor of the Boko Haram group. The office has described the story as false and the handiwork of evil persons who are out to tarnish the image of Dr. Okupe and cause disaffection in the country by setting citizens against each other and against government.

The office advises journalists to always crosscheck with us before going to press as we are ready to volunteer information as we have always done.

We also enjoin the good people of Nigeria to discountenance this fictitious report because at no time did Dr. Okupe identify the former Head of State as a sponsor of Boko Haram.

Dr. Olusanya Awosan
