Goddex: What has GEJ done that you are not with him? Is GEJ a fellow governor. Did GEJ conduct or contest any election? What do you mean by the bold? Did Jonathan become president to those that voted for him and Buhari president for the ones that voted for him? So you think by arm-twisting and extracting signature/endorsements from these 19 Governors - Jonathan can now foist his lapdog on the NGF? |
Here in Enugu, we are peace loving people. BTW we have 82 Division Army base, Air Force and Navy bases. Not forgeting the police and others. There is enough weapon to fight any war in Enugu. Chime have also invested alot in securitx too. |
This looks as fake as it can be. I think someone is just pulling a fast one. If true, it is like putting a tracking device on himself. |
Everything is wrong with this "Alert". It is very shallow. Questions: 1. What states, locations, paths and communities are in danger? 2. What time or period are we expecting impact or period of danger? 3. What do they advise people to do? (Run from their communities, build re-enforcements, canals, elevations - What?) 4. fastlane84: How? I no run hoo..Yes the 19gb plan works. But I use the unlimited option. You don't even get to pay again. Network companies in Nigeria need crash their price in order to help those that still doll out cash to them every month. |
Everyone is using unlimited plan for less. What will I do with 1gb? That is like one movie download. |
President Barack Obama said Tuesday Oklahoma would be receiving an immediate and strong federal emergency response to the deadly tornadoes and storms that have ripped through the state. "Our prayers are with the people of Oklahoma today, and we will back up those prayers with deeds for as long as it takes," Obama said at the White House, after being briefed by his Homeland Security team on the latest federal efforts in response to the storm. "As a nation, our full focus right now is on the urgent work of rescue, and the hard work of recovery and rebuilding that lies ahead," he said. "The people of Moore should know that their country will remain on the ground, there for them, beside them, as long as it takes." Obama sent FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate to Oklahoma this morning to coordinate the federal efforts on rescue and recovery. Authorities Tuesday morning adjusted the estimated death toll down to 24, though that number is expected to change. The president's remarks about the tragedy that come a day after he declared Oklahoma a major disaster area, ordering federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by severe storms and tornadoes. |
Bolan123: Shut up. which intel are u gathering from people whose location u already know. People who has already declared war on Nigeria. Just shut up and grow up. Must u comment?I will not stoop low to join you in that gutter. You look good in that pits with mud all over you. @Topic: Am glad the Senate have provided the President the legal backing to complete his task. Time to execute and rap this up. |
The position of the ACN is exactly what it should be. If Emergency Rule succeed, so be it - its the choice of majority of Nigerians like me. But if a year or two pass and the military are still in charge, Emergency Rule expands to many other states, pictures of innocent Nigerians killed and and bombs going off in some other regions of the country - Then support for this rule will diminish. If Nigeria and our Democracy remain, then the opposition can say "Here is a better approach". Me I did support surgical approach that involves arresting and prosecuting the already indicted individuals, gather more Intel and take out sponsors/leaders/bases of this group - without enveloping or declaring an entire region under martial law. |
Tigerhead: This is what ACN is turning Nigeria into. Imagine if they win at the center we will become Nigerianistan!!! holyvirgin: Shatapp there mr man, I thought u were different? What happened to fashocrooks billions? Monies belonging to poor lagosians that he has embezzeled? Tinubu fa?Please tell us what you would have expected the judge to do? Send him to jail just because of N1,040? |

Am always not happy whenever I see projects executed by Nigerian Government budgeted or presented in other currencies other than Naira. It should not matter if other foreign agencies are part of the funding. At least they can state it in Naira and bracket the dollar - if that is a must. We should be proud of who we are and our identity. If by any chance the government do not like the size of the figures in naira, they should make efforts to improve the value of our currency. |
OP: The best you can do for yourself now is to forget all of them. The best is ahead. Stop crying over splilled milk. The baby will have a good life. In future if they need help, you give what you can. Remember to tell your future wife in time. |
All these ladies saying they love the poor guy are very funny. How about all the stuffs they use that was not bought by their parents? In campuses, go to the ladies hostels/rooms, you will discover that: - The phone was given by Mr. A, while Mr. B is the one sending recharge cards. Another man is the one that always takes her out periodically. One Mr. C is the one she calls and talk to for a very long time whenever she is bored. Mr D is skilled in bed matters, that is the one she runs to when she wants to touch the skies. And so goes for many of her items and needs. Please every young man out there should just know that Girlfriend matter na serious business. So next time you see a girl and start strategizing how to befriend her - just be aware of this. |
A worldwide gang of criminals stole $45 million in a matter of hours by hacking their way into a database of prepaid debit cards and then draining cash machines around the globe, federal prosecutors said Thursday — and outmoded U.S. card technology may be partly to blame. Seven people are under arrest in the U.S. in connection with the case, which prosecutors said involved thousands of thefts from ATMs using bogus magnetic swipe cards carrying information from Middle Eastern banks. The fraudsters moved with astounding speed to loot financial institutions around the world, working in cells including one in New York, Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said. She called it "a massive 21st-century bank heist" carried out by brazen thieves. One of the suspects was caught on surveillance cameras, his backpack increasingly loaded down with cash, authorities said. Others took photos of themselves with giant wads of bills as they made their way up and down Manhattan. Here's how it worked: Hackers got into bank databases, eliminated withdrawal limits on pre-paid debit cards and created access codes. Others loaded that data onto any plastic card with a magnetic stripe — an old hotel key card or an expired credit card worked fine as long as it carried the account data and correct access codes. A network of operatives then fanned out to rapidly withdraw money in multiple cities, authorities said. The cells would take a cut of the money, then launder it through expensive purchases or ship it wholesale to the global ringleaders. Lynch didn't say where they were located. It appears no individuals lost money. The thieves plundered funds held by the banks that back up prepaid credit cards, not individual or business accounts, Lynch said. She called it a "virtual criminal flash mob," and a security analyst said it was the biggest ATM fraud case she had heard of. There were two separate attacks, one in December that reaped $5 million worldwide and one in February that snared about $40 million in 10 hours with about 36,000 transactions. The scheme involved attacks on two banks, Rakbank in the United Arab Emirates and the Bank of Muscat in Oman, prosecutors said. The plundered ATMs were in Japan, Russia, Romania, Egypt, Colombia, Britain, Sri Lanka, Canada and several other countries, and law enforcement agencies from more than a dozen nations were involved in the investigation, U.S. prosecutors said. The accused ringleader in the U.S. cell, Alberto Yusi Lajud-Pena, was reportedly killed in the Dominican Republic late last month, prosecutors said. More investigations continue and other arrests have been made in other countries, but prosecutors did not have details. An indictment unsealed Thursday accused Lajud-Pena and the other seven New York suspects of withdrawing $2.8 million in cash from hacked accounts in less than a day. Such ATM fraud schemes are not uncommon, but the $45 million stolen in this one was at least double the amount involved in previously known cases, said Avivah Litan, an analyst who covers security issues for Gartner Inc. Middle Eastern banks and payment processors are "a bit behind" on security and screening technologies that are supposed to prevent this kind of fraud, but it happens around the world, she said. "It's a really easy way to turn digits into cash," Litan said. Some of the fault lies with the ubiquitous magnetic strips on the back of the cards. The rest of the world has largely abandoned cards with magnetic strips in favor of ones with built-in chips that are nearly impossible to copy. But because U.S. banks and merchants have stuck to cards with magnetic strips, they are still accepted around the world. Lynch would not say who masterminded the attacks globally, who the hackers are or where they were located, citing an ongoing investigation. The New York suspects were U.S. citizens originally from the Dominican Republic, lived in the New York City suburb orf Yonkers and were mostly in their 20s. Lynch said they all knew one another and were recruited together, as were cells in other countries. They were charged with conspiracy and money laundering. If convicted, they face 10 years in prison. Arrests began in March. Lajud-Pena was found dead with a suitcase full of about $100,000 in cash, and the investigation into his death is continuing separately. Dominican officials said they arrested a man in the killing who said it was a botched robbery, and two other suspects were on the lam. The first federal study of ATM fraud was 30 years ago, when the use of computers in the financial community was growing rapidly. At the time, the Bureau of Justice Statistics found nationwide ATM bank loss from fraud ranged from $70 and $100 million a year. By 2008, that had risen to about $1 billion a year, said Ken Pickering, who works in security intelligence at CORE Security, a white-hat hacking firm that offers security to businesses. He said he expects news of the latest ring to inspire other criminals. "Once you see a large attack like this, that they made off with $45 million, that's going to wake up the cybercrime community," he said. "Ripping off cash, you don't get that back," he said. "There are suitcases full of cash floating around now, and that's just gone." http://news.yahoo.com/feds-nyc-hackers-stole-45m-atm-card-breach-155109500.html |
FATHER:
My son, convene a sovereign national conference, and let the people decide, on what term they want this marriage of inconvenience to continue.
JONA: Papa did you say "let them decide"? Mba nu, the first thing they will decide to chase me out. FATHER:
Thank you my son and don't forget to put a petroleum refinery in otueke, our village.
JONA: Ohhhhh, papa we do not need refinery, am stockpiling a fortune from the Fuel Subsidy Permutation. Abeg come up with a better advice. |
My son Jona, start by throwing away that hat... |
aigjoey: Heyy , my last girlfriend almost kill me with her hair making. There was no type of weavon i did not bye her. She was so crazy about weavons, expensive once for that matter. Thank God , she gone for good.hahaha |
To imagine they are being begged to accept billions of money is painful. Be it a politicians, thugs, kidnappers, bokos, militants - all I want is justice for Nigerians. BTW, what has become of all the arrests we have been hearing about? |
Girlfriend is certainly expensive. Not recommended for any guy still struggling to have a stable income. If you like punny that much, Go And Marry. |
The politician no get mouth? |
Do you know how many people that will welcome N200billion or more and gladly accept 2yrs imprisonment. If the he wants repentance, he have enough time in jail to conclude his prayer sessions. |
After they finished enjoying their loot, you still want them to avoid prosecution? Seriously? |
Seriously as a Christian, am very disappointed with rule 17 - its very unlike you. I just have to ask this? Oga Seun, are Boko Haram after you? |
Some other consequences having a girl friend these days are emergency marriage and unwanted pregnancies. She may even get pregnant elsewhere and get you robed in it since you already have a running affair. |
OP: You have 4 options: Try any of the of it. - Get her laid (if you know what I mean). A special treatment will keep her closer. - If you can't do the above, then take charge. Set your rules and enforce them. Be a Man. - Ok, you don't to be physical +ve or -ve then try jealousy. Get other girls to also visit you or spend time with you. - If you can't do any of the above, abeg let her go. End the relationship. The Game is still premature for you. Also for being more comfortable with others, either she does not love, respect or fear you. |
OP: The easiest thing to do is move on with your life. It's a bit hopeless for you - your babe is already having someone else and is planning marriage; you mother-in-law-to-be don't want you. If her dad is alive try having a word with him. Else, please move-on. |
The guy na JJC. I just dey pity the bride. She will get used to it on the long run. ![]() |
Judinho59: *yawns* if true, then my Babe aint a Nigerian!!Do share your experience. She no dey demand anything? |
