Little did I know he was about jumping into the SuckerAway at the back of their house.

emmatok: LOL, MIMIKO is just angry that the election was recorded.

Their is no way to show every individual that voted on an election.

The vote was counted in that video and the rest is history.
Don't mind this people. He is now saying he did not vote but before, during and after the vote counting they keep calling 35 repeatedly and nobody (Jang, Mimiko, Akpabio, Obi, etc) - none of them said NO that since they did not vote the total can't be 35. Because they still had hopes that the men they extracted signatures from will still fall in line like mumus.

Gov. Mimiko should please stop disgracing the good people of his state. I know he have lied alot, if he cannot appologies to the nation, he can at least keep quite.
Politics › Re: Mimiko To Amaechi: Don't Hide Under Religion, Prove That I Voted With Your Video by egift(m): 6:33pm On Jun 20, 2013
The video clearly prove that Mimiko voted. When they counted the reference was always 35, which was never protested upon. The burden of proof is on Mimiko to provide evidence he did not vote.

Here is the video

Politics › Re: Why Amaechi Remains Suspended —akpabio Print by egift(m): 6:09am On Jun 20, 2013
PDP are disgracing themselves not Nigerians. Since Amaechi did not order the LG Chairman to be reinstated, why then was the reason for the PDP to have insulted him with a suspension? This people act first, then think later and reverse back.

Amaechi 4 vs Jonathan 0

(Amaechi kicked out an LG chair loyal to Abuja, Got re-elected in NGF, Got court injunction against the party and now will be reinstated with public support, his portfolio and well lettered apology) wink

Mogidi: We will never surrender the presidency, NO SURRENDER
This is exactly what every well-meaning Nigerian is worried about: We have come to a point of the Nation's history that PDP led by Jonathan have captured our country and is holding it hostage.

Is it not the people that elects who lead them? "You will never surrender it" - Is Jonathan now hold us hostage? I can see why they sent Dokubo on that assignment. Nigeria will be free again, to develop and empower its citizen - far away from the hypnotizing grip of the PDP.

If the Northern elite get out of the way or support, if it comes to popular vote, a Buhari/Fashola ticket will get at least 70% of the North, 70% of SW, 10% SE, 10% SS and 50% MB.

The fact that PDP cannot do "hemmm" on this brings so much joy. If PDP leadership tries - most Northern PDP governors will select another presidential candidate (remember Tony Anineth trying to avoid primaries) Or they will join APC and the dilapidated PDP boat will capsize in 2015.

Politics › Re: Will An African Leader by egift(m): 8:55am On Jun 19, 2013
If we can stop corruption (at least reduce it). Get experience and visionary leaders who are ready to work, invest in infrastructures, empower our citizens to create wealth on their own, Expand on agriculture, education and healthcare delivery. Then finally encourage and fund innovations - They will even beg Nigeria to come and have a seat.

Currently we do not have a laid down plan - just random tags and efforts. We need Buhari/Fashola (2015-2019) for sound policy framework, reduce waste/corruption and sensible development.
Politics › Re: Ghana President Slams Nigeria For Allowing Corrupt Politicians To Escape Justice by egift(m): 8:41am On Jun 19, 2013
sayso: Going by what Rawlings said,I think the best option Nigeria has is your suggested candidate. But can we cope immediately with their program?
Am sure we can cope since most of the policy will be in the interest of the people and building a strong framework others can build on. The current situation only benefits those closer to government. Check since 1999, subsequent PDP government can't even continue improving on existing initiative.

boron10: We do not need the judiciary to convict these corrupt politicians. Can't we start a revolution that would change our country for good?
As good as I like "revolution", it only give our government the excuses to oppress us the more. Either they threaten, blackmail those pushing for it or they will simply hijack it and give it a very terrible meaning that no sensible person will come near to it.

For example the Subsidy Protest (threat, blackmail and saying ill of those that support it) and Nigerian Governors Forum (they either want to hijack it or destroy it). The NGF cut-across religion, ethnicity and political parties in Nigeria - one of the only groups that can pressure the government to "distribute" the nation's wealth and also call the president to order, to help him consider all the options on the table before rushing out to promote anti-people agenda. See what Jonathan and his team are doing to it.

Nigeria's challenges are big and enormous. We need men with courage, foresight, free from all entanglements and ready to develop this country. Nigeria is a sleeping giant. Her people are suffering under the burden of corruption.

Give us Buhari/Fashola (2015-2019) Let's rebuild this nation together and lay a lasting foundation for growth. Nigerians the decision is ours.
Politics › Re: Governor Jang Is Irresponsible! by egift(m): 6:06am On Jun 19, 2013
Gov. Akpabio was only testing the 5in1 election model he proposed to Jonathan for 2015:
1. Extract signatures/commitments from the governors/electorates - like victims of kidnappers
2. Push your way through and participate in the election
3. Hide/destroy all the evidence that will tell the truth
4. Reject the results immediately you discovered it is not favourable
5. And above all DON'T relinquish power afterward.

Suddenly Nigerians have no empathy for fellow innocent Nigerians caught-up in the middle of war, just because it is not in their community. What a shame.

I still recall all the tales my parents told me of things that happened during the civil war - how the villages where invaded, how the left town, hunger, sickness, stayed in the forest and my elder sister Beatrice (who never got to meet) died in tender age during their journey.

It is very wrong for anyone here to wish that to someone else (irrespective of the reasons you feed yourself to help you sleep at night).
Politics › Re: PDP Governors, Opposition Shun Jang’s NGF Meeting by egift(m): 5:14am On Jun 19, 2013
mikijagga: @ Ziccot, I beg to differ on your views on the rising potency of the leadership of the governor's forum. If its not checked, will run parallel to the presidency. Any over ambitiuos governor will seize it by force as is been observed right now. The idea of governor's forum will work well in an advanced democracy, but here in naija, hmmm.. if they give u allow, u will look for allowance.

Secondly, governors believe that after their 8 years tenure in office, the next level is the presidency. Recall that the NGF has produced the last 2 presidents and vice presidents. Its also an unhealthy trend that must be broken. I believe we can get better presidents if we spread our search wider than narrow it on 36 governors
If this current government government do their thing unchecked, Nigeria will be worst for it. Pressure groups like the NGF, etc, then whatever the presidency want it does and push it down our throats.

These governors are from different parties, religion, states and ethic groups. So when they take a decision there are so many factors that is deliberated and considered.

Now without that in place or having a stooge as NGF, decisions of the FG could be sectarian or dictatorial and all that can be done is rants and complain - the FG will still do as it please.

Politics › Re: Majority Of Nigerians Want A Single Term Of 4 Years For Every President by egift(m): 7:49pm On Jun 18, 2013
My take is that:
- We should have a first term with the possibility of a second if the people believe you did well.
- A single term should be 4yrs nothing more. (We should not perpetuate mediocrity and those that do well also can be re-elected after a first term).
- And like Buhari suggested, Governors and the President should loose immunity to criminal offense but retain immunity on civil matter to enable them discharge their duties.
- INEC should be giving full autonomy to conduct elections. Those seeking re-election should stepdown from their current positions, relinquish their power in full and allow a 3-5months window for the conduct of election. This 3-5 months will be from the remainder of their current term. If your tenure is June 30th, then you step down January 30th.
- Everything should be in place to make the results the wishes of the people.

Nigeria say NO to the NGF election model.

Sincere 9gerian: One of the predictions of the bizzare group called Association of Witches and Wizards in Nigeria is about to come to pass.

You will recall that the Association of Witches and Wizards in Nigeria made the following predictions early this year:

1 By the end of this year, you will hardly hear of any Boko Haram mayhem again

2 “This mega party when we looked at them and their future, they are good, they have good intentions, but at the last minute, before election, they will be thrown into disarray; they will have a big disagreement that will shatter the party and in-fighting over superiority. This discord will not be settled until the elections hold.”

3 Goodluck Jonathan will re-contest and he will win the 2015 election irrespective of whatever opposition that rises against him

4 Nigeria will not break or divide as the Americans have prophesied

5 And as for the current PDP National Chairman, he will have his hands full with many problems that will eventually swallow him

6 Babangida can take his money to support another party but he can’t rule this country again

7 If Buhari contests 100 times, he can’t rule this country again
http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/04/18/if-buhari-contests-100-times-he-cannot-rule-this-country-again-association-of-witches-and-wizards-in-nigeria/

Goddex: But trust our media, especially our print media, they will coin a negative caption for it to suit their purpose. I watched it on TV and 18 governors or deputy governors were in attendance.

The article only listed the 6 PDP and 11 opposition governors as those that stayed away but refused to state clearly that governors/deputy governors of the following states attended:

1) Ondo

2) Cross River

3) Kaduna

4) Abia

5) Taraba

6) Kwara

7) Kogi

cool Anambra

9) Kaduna

10) Ebonyi

11) Enugu

12) Katsina

13) Bauchi

14) Plateau

15) Benue

16) Delta

17) Bayelsa

18) Akwa Ibom
With the highlighted above we can see how you got a permanent seat on PDP's inner circle. Jonthan, Tukur and Gov. Jang are very proud of you.

If you have something against Tinubu, create a new topic for it.

This topic is a discussion on "do we respect a corrupt man, that is surrounded by Nigeria's finest thieves as they perpetrate corruption of the highest order - just because he is President?"

So stick to the topic. Thanks.
