@OP, please leave that guy ASAP. You already got some good advice on the planning, waiting for 7 years hoping he would change has cost you a lot but you don't know yet. Kids should grow in an environment filled with love not hostility, you would leave if you love your kids and yourself.

Separation is good, as it will afford him the opportunity to seek help but you need to spell out the terms of the marriage after you leave and let him know that he must see a psychologist for some clean up. You are better off staying away from him if he would not be willing to follow through the "treatment" to make him human again.

Don't know if you have brothers or other men in the family, this is the time to open up and get some support that will build your confidence to take action. Do not delay!
I wanted to talk about opening up to her brothers or uncles for support until I saw your post.... OP for your own good leave the man you call your husband o before he does the unthinkable.... I don't think I can allow any man in the name of marriage physically abuse any female relative of mine when he's not mad

I am from Ekiti and I can tell you that Fayemi had direction. His idea was to encourage investment frkm ekiti people in diaspora and stage one was the road network, the fibre optic ring and the legacy projects. He knew full well that Ekiti needed to revisit agriculture and mining, revitalize the educational system to attract investments.

Fayose has no clue how to grow Ekiti out of civil service state. When did you last see him at a cocoa or cassava farm? When did you last see him at the sawmills? Does he even have Ekiti natural resource map. The answer is never because he can't think. His intelligence is of the street type and you can't build a state on that.

Playing to the gallery may get you likes on Facebook and shout outs on Nairaland ( after all the largest crowds follow singing madmen) but it doesn't create opportunities, jobs and revenue. He has taxed the poor to the max and now he has nowhere to go. Mark my words, he will soon go to OBJ like Okupe and prostrate asking OBJ to please beg " our father Buhari". He is that shameless.

As for the good people of Ekiti, you got what you asked for. Enjoy it for the next couple of years and when next any politician brings rice and chicken to you, you will know what to do.
I pray these Ekiti people get sense before the next election o...mtcheeeww, what am I even saying gan by the time he gives them a sachet of rice and #200 during the next festive period they will forget everything

Fayose has been receiving about #800million now for some months now as allocation no thanks to the billions borrowed by Kayode Fayemi. It takes 2.6billion to pay Ekiti workers in a month, so ask yourself if you're being truthful by abusing him.
lol... I know someone will come here to justify the non payment of salaries... What happened to IGR? What has he done to increase it?

Mindfulness:
A woman doesn't say: "You have to do chores because I pay the bills too'.
A woman says: 'Help me with the chores because I am also tired from work.'

A woman who makes more money than her husband but spends less time at work will still do more chores because she has more time and more energy. It IS NOT about the money. It is about time and energy.
it's you who think about it like that some women will just go home and draw a timetable for house chores with their husbands since they are also working like them... It's good and actually romantic for a husband to give his wife a helping hand at home because it will bring them closer and spend more time together outside their bedroom (because the only quality time some couples together is on the bed) but it must not be made to look like it's something he must always do, if it's like that believe me most men won't take part in the house chores

Haa, you missed it.

The one you mentioned here is idgam and idgam is not done between letters of a single word.
Maybe you should revise the books of tajweed again.

So where did you get this list from? undecided
what I mean is that I can't remember the exact verses in the Quran.. All what I said are from the Quran and the sayings of the prophet... Don't worry I will get back to you later on it later
IslamRe: Mispronunciation Of Muslim Names by eitsei(m): 2:49pm On May 13, 2016
Newnas:
Its a great fortune that Allah blessed you with parents that were foresighted and wise enough to know the importance of Islamic knowledge especially for a female child. You owe them a lot, I ask Allah to make it easy for you to be grateful for this mercy.

As for your name, it wasn't mispelt. in Arabic language when nuun that has sukuun preceedes the letter ba, the nuun is to be pronounced as meem not nuun anymore. This is what the scholars of tajweed call iqlaab or qalb (transformation or change).

If you pick up your Quran and check the following verse :

Surah Ash-Shams, Verse 12:
إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا

When the most wicked man among them went forth (to kill the she-camel).
(English - Mohsin Khan)

via iQuran

You will find a small written above the letter nuun showing that you should do qalb.

Allah knows best.
I understand you.. But there are some words that don't go with rules of tajweed, e.g دنيا،صنوان..
IslamRe: Mispronunciation Of Muslim Names by eitsei(m): 12:05pm On May 13, 2016
newly reverted Muslims ask, should they change their names?
The answer is that they should not change their names except in the following situations:
• If the name is forbidden in Islam. For example, if the name implies worshipping other than Allah like Abdush-Shams (slave of the sun), Abdun-Nabi (slave of the Prophet), Abdul-Maseeh (slave of the Christ), etc. Also, if the name symbolizes idols like Naelah, Hubal or Buddha, then it must be changed immediately.
• If the name is typical of the non-believers like Botros, John, Diana, Suzanne or Victoria, then a Muslim should stay away from these names.
• If the name praises oneself, as in the case of Barrah (pious), the Prophet, sallallahu alayhe wa sallam, changed it to Zainab and said, "Do not praise yourself. Allah knows the pious ones more than you do." (Muslim)
• If the name has a bad meaning like the names of animals such as Faar (mouse), Kalb (dog), Hanash (snake). Or pronounced badly in another language such as Tom (many pronounce it Toom, which sounds like garlic in Arabic).
If the non-Muslim name is like one of the above then it must be changed to a good Muslim name, one that is desirable in Islam. For example Abdurrahman, Abdullah, any of the Prophets' names, the companions names, the wives of the Prophet, allallahu alayhe wa sallam, or his daughters.
It should be taken into consideration that only the first name is changed and not the father's name no matter how bad it is. In the Day of Judgment, people will be called by their fathers' names.
I can't remember any of the verses of the Quran that supports it... Cc hahn

IslamRe: Mispronunciation Of Muslim Names by eitsei(m): 11:37am On May 13, 2016
surestakes:
Those are ARABIC names. Not Islamic. Islam is an Arabic religion with adopts Arabic culture and symbolism.

It is already a show of inferiority complex when, as an African, you believe in ANY of the Judaic religions undecided
you definitely don't know anything about names a Muslim can bear, agreed these names are written in Arabic but it's important for a Muslim to have a good name that can show he's a Muslim definitely they are Islamic names too because everything about a Muslim is an identity that differentiates him from non Muslim, from names, dressing, behavior, the way worship and so on...before the prophet Muhammad (SAW) came the Arabs called themselves some names that are not proper and the prophet told them to change their names and those with good names are told not to change their names
IslamRe: Mispronunciation Of Muslim Names by eitsei(m): 11:27am On May 13, 2016
I love my Muslim name so much that even most people know me by it more than my first name, when I was in primary and secondary schools there was hardly anyone who didn't know me then because of the name, it was so bad that the some Muslims can't pronounce their own name correctly not to talk of writing it correctly I changed the way I write my name since my primary school days when I got to know the correct pronunciation aided by the fact I attended Arabic school and it's very important for every Muslim to attend Arabic and Islamic school to know some fundamental things about the religion. Parents too should ensure their children attend model Muslim schools for their primary and secondary education, I'm so happy and grateful my parents made me attended both primary and secondary education simultaneously with Arabic and Islamic education and alhamdulillah I did well in both as I was able to learn up to thanawy level (high school) in Arabic and Islamic education by the time I graduated from Western secondary education ..... Even the OP sef mispelt my name is Hanbali not Hambal.... Hanbali حنبلي.... There is ن and not م after the first letter

Abagworo:
I've always supported subsidy removal because I know what's involved. However many people have limited knowledge of what's going on in Nigerian economy. . We are on a brink and we've been on a brink since 2014 but using secret loans to cover up until a threshold was reached after 2015 elections.

There was a wicked loot of the treasury during Jonathan's era which will be difficult to escape. Buhari inherited a dead economy with cosmetic dressing. Fuel was selling at 300 Naira and FG was owing marketers half a trillion Naira subsidy as at the day Buhari assumed office.
the wailing wailers abi wetin dem dey call them have heads but can't reason like this or perhaps they do but because of their hatred and hypocrisy of the current administration they always turn blind eyes for every good step taken by Buhari...when Jonathan removed the subsidy what did they he achieve with it? Nothing! Despite the fact that oil was sold at a higher price per barrel that time..
