Family › Re: How Much Is Ideal To Be Giving One's Wife As Monthly Stipend? by eitsei(m): 8:22pm On Jun 17, 2016 |
HaneefahRN: I don't know how people reason o. You both are obviously earning well, yet to have your own house and all she is concerned about is getting more monthly allowance? She should even be the one trying to make sure your money is managed well.
People have given good advice, whatever you do, converse with her with love, discuss at length with her. You need to start planning your future, not spend money as you see it. I wonder if the woman will stay if there's no money again |

KnightMare7: I will do it for my daughter too, it's the right thing to do, my son's wife is like my daughter, I should cook for her and my son, help in the kitchen, it's th proper thing. no one is saying your mother-in-law can't help if she wants to but not that you make it mandatory on her even if she wants to help at least you should be modest enough not to let her do it. You said your daughter-in-law is like your daughter so that means as old as you are now your mom still cook for you, do your laundry and other things? , I don't think your husband will sit down and watch his mother going on and forth to the kitchen and round the house doing chores.... I don't even know what is wrong our ladies nowadays o the kind of orientation some of them have before going to their matrimonial home may God help us |
Family › Re: Is It A Woman's Responsibility/duty To Wash Her Husband's Clothes? by eitsei(m): 3:05pm On Jun 17, 2016 |
KnightMare7: why not, where is the love, where I come from if the woman's mother comes visiting, she washes her clothes, that of her daughter and her grand children, that's love, why should mother in law be different? If she cares for me, she would assist me not give me more work. ehn ehn where you come from? Now I get it. Also if she comes she will wash her plates after eating too, she may even help you to clean the house no big deal there... So when your son grow up and marries don't be offended if his wife extends the gesture to you too |

KnightMare7: washing machine is the solution actually, but not everyone can afford it.
I cannot wash inlaw's clothes, what for? So if your mother-in-law comes visiting you expect her to wash her clothes herself? |

infolekan: Funny dude. This is as ignorant as they come. Which section of the constitution empowers it? You should check who has the power to decide if it should be done or not. The NUC or JAMB or Minister. hope you know it's the same federal government that gave them autonomy |

Education › Re: Uniben To Conduct Post-UTME Exercise by eitsei(m): 7:18am On Jun 16, 2016 |
During the Last ASUU strike among the conditions signed by federal government to end the strike is granting autonomy to universities i.e they are their own government, they can do what they like... So I think that's why some of them will conduct post Utme this year despite the directive of the minister of education |

bonechamberlain: u people and 95% 5% dichotomy, govt can't provide jobs others are thinking of providing u are here saying this. No problem with the 5% ..
Be careful of hate it affect your judgement. I don't even understand some people o they want to build the refinery with their money and investment that will belong to them, they will pay duties to the state and federal governments before they start operations and they will also be paying taxes o and yet you want to dictate how they run their business for them..of course they will employ Nigerians and it's not a must it should be above 90% Nigerians |

They can wear hijab in there exclusive Muslim school...that won't be a problem.
The school is not a religious centre. Who said it was Aregbesola that gave the order? |

Ishilove: So Islamic tenets are selectively practiced? Different rules for the elites and hoi polloi?
In the light of recent happenings in the country, this hypocrisy is nauseating. the tenets of Islam is not selectively practiced.. Ali don't have much say on how and when he should be buried anymore because he can no longer talk or air his opinion... Among his family he was the only practicing Muslim who understood the religion better if his family were like that too he would have been buried latest the second day after his death and because he was a celebrity you know all the fanfare that would come with it, |
