Tetehjewels: The funny thing about your nonsensical comment now is that you do not even realize that your social media free speech has long been taken away even without a law being in place.
The law is just to make it formal.
Why not go on social media and say you will go on killing spree and assassinate every police officer you meet on the streets or say you will rape children.
Better yet just say you have done those already and watch what would happen to you since you are the free speech champion. The funny thing about this comment is that you think you have made a lot of sense and put the guy in his place but obviously ur enlightenment is limited... I can say whatever I want in the Internet and nothing will happen,,, People re still scamming through the Internet if they ve such powers u designate to them does it mean they have been turning blind eyes to scam, |

ChimaAdeoye: Obiano is not a failure in any way whatsoever. No matter how you measure it. Whether its agriculture, SME,security, roads, hotels, critical infrastructure etc. You can dislike the man, but you cannot say he didn't improve Anambra state as so many governors that cannot point to even a single achievement.
Obiano could have made political enemies. But who wouldn't if you want to make a positive mark on history? Everybody wants to be Governor at the same time and once they feel he supports one side, they will automatically become his enemy, and they will decamp to another party. Even Peter Obi also had enemies because he wanted men of proven character to succeed him. I like Ifeanyi Ubah because i want an Nnewi man as governor in 2022, but i am not sure he has the type of great vision that will make Anambra a world class state.
If Obiano completes the airport, ICC, Stadium and others before he leaves, he will remain popular. Truth is that Anambra cannot do all the roads and simultaneously build all the infrastructure needed to develop the economy at the same time. Obiano has chosen to complete some key critical projects while leaving a few things undone. Depending on which project you view as a priority, you would have your opinion of him. But for sure, his legacy projects will speak for him many years after he left government house if he manages to complete them. The way Enugu remembers Chimaroke for ESUT permanent site & law school, Imo remember Dee Sam Mbakwe for Imo airport and Igbariam Campus of the state University & Teaching hospital will remain forever projects that Peter Obi will be remembered for. I dont think that stadium is a big enough project to warrant any attention.. IfeaNyi Ubah football club is building a much bigger stadium in Nnewi... |

post=98479679: This is a good step to start with. But We still need longer extension for the February 9th deadline. This should take atleast 180 days for all Nigerians to be able to register and get their NIN. But overall, with this NIN, we are on the pathway to a great nation. This is one of the first thing that made developed nation what they are right now. Slow and steady we will get there. God bless Nigeria.
Addendum: We will remain subtle in our posts henceforth, following some conference calls all of us @ received from some elders (Mostly females, Grandmas et al) and other sane members of the forum last night. Our points have been passed across on this forum. We dished out to them just for 2 weeks what they have been dishing out to us for over 3 years on this forum, and some people are mad and angry, as if it is only some sets of people that have monopoly to madness! Well, we will go back to our more civil ways and continue to ignore trolls and (gosh, we don't wanna call names anymore....... atleast for now!) We will continue to respect the rules and regulations of this great forum and continue to pray for our darling country as much as we can. We will continue to call out the government on the negative things that are not going well in the country as we have always been doing (but some willfully blind people have chosen not to see) and we will continue to commend our darling Daddy and his amiable Vice President for the good works they are doing all around the nation in every region.
We have made it known to the little set of confused fans that dem MANNA can never be silence, bullied, provoked, threatened or trolled, and it is good they have seen they did that for almost 4 years now, but they keep going down one after the other while we remain standing gidigba on the Rock of Ages! Only a wise man quits the battle he knows he can never win. We will ignore you as we have been doing for many years prior now, But if you quote us while ignoring you to say jargons and using words not allowed on this forum, Then we will happily follow the rules and regulations of the forum instead of addressing you as swines that N Cownu addressed you as, even as his followers! More because we are all raised by different parents and also because of foreigners coming to this forum to learn about out darling nation. We will rather school and correct you with love as kid brothers that you are . D anointing wey all of us @ carry no be una mate... CHUKWUKADIBIA! Y'all heard?! For all sane, honest, good, positive and hardworking Nigerians, please, be like dem MANNA. A better Nigeria is all we want. A better Nigeria we sshall get. Slow and steady we will get to the Nigeria of our dreams God bless Nigeria.

SchmidtHammer: I spoke to my father-in-law,a Fulani man himself, a while ago (due to my personal relationship with him, this was the first time I have ever considered the farmers-herders clashes from the perspective of a Fulani man), he explained certain delicate and complex intricacies that makes the proposed ranching system, that used to me a very straightforward one, now seem quite problematic IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT. The laws in our constitution are not the laws of nature. These laws, as stated in our constitution, are created considering human peculiarities, such that 'general' beliefs even though inclined towards sentiments, as long as they are adopted by a represented reasonable minority and such that IT IS POSSIBLE THERE COULD BE A WAY AROUND THEM with the conditios that it does not threaten the ORDER in the country and the fundamental rights of others (the majority) is not infringed upon. Having stated the above, it is easy to see that the problem with the proposed Ranching System is that while it is a very logically straightforward solution, it is not the most considerate, therefore not the most appropriate (at least in the short term) and using a method analogous the Occam's Razor for solutions in politics and human relations is unreasonable in my opinion. Open cattle rearing is a culture and proposing a change in this culture must be approached as sensitively as other important cultures of the other tribes. One does not expect that a culture be abandoned overnight, nor that laws guiding a country be entirely insensitive to the peculiarities of the people bound under it. As in developed worlds, these are the kinds of problems that are confronted by Political scientists, Economic analysts and sociologists, putting forward a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of THE PROBLEM OF HERDERS in the country. You did not make any sense.... You can not come from wherever to my community to state a case for your culture... The moment you step out of ur community, you culture will be sheat until the next time u re home.. If u want to wander around wit cow. Do so in a fulani community whr everyone wander around wit cow.. So u don't wander into an indigenous farmland.... |

Una doh. I'm not Yoruba but I was born and raised in Yoruba land. Imagine if indigenes come to attack me and my family because we are prospering in their land. Does that even make sense? Same goes for some of these Fulani people who were raised in Yoruba land. The ones committing havoc are just a small fraction of Fulani people because all the ones I know and grew up with are peaceful people who mind their business.
If every ethnic group decides to start harassing settlers, there will be a conflagration that will consume some of these people jubilating over the actions of Sunday Igboho. Shut up fool |
