Emma8043:hahaha, funny you. Seriously I don't get it. Is it that people dress to impress others? Really? well, for me I dress to impress myself believe it or not. |
biggmusty:to you they are the same but not to me. because in the public you may see someone putting on the same clothe as you but your confidence in it stands you out. So I dress to impress myself not anybody. Ok? |
biggmusty:to you they are the same but not to me. because in the public you may see someone putting on the same clothe as you but your confidence in it stands you out. So I dress to impress myself not anybody. Ok. |
M4gunners:that is the truth o bros. Because when it comes to fashion, creating impression has to start from moi! As a matter of fact some people make that mistake and dress to impress others and at the end of the day when no one noticed them, you found out that they will not dress like that again because of their mindset from the outset and because they lack confidence in themselves. Anyway I had rather impress people with behaviour than dressing. Cheers. |
Nicepoker:standing out because am unique. And to whomever it may concern, because what is fashionable to me might not appeal to another person. Ok? |
oleeee:If your mind set is that any girl who put on clothe is out to impress you (guys) then I beg you to have a re-think. If you dnt have self worth, I have. So deal with that. |
slimmy05:I'm more than sure swthrt, because I love and admire myself much. So no need to dress inother to impress anybody. |
sauceny:hmmm well, I love and admire myself much and thats why I dress to enhance my confidence. Then while in the public a guy is free admire what is good you know? I dress for me and no one else. But why should I dress to empress people? because what is fashionable to me might not be to another. So its all about confidence. |
I dress to be comfortable and to enhance my confidence where ever I go. Infact I dress to stand out in the public not really to empress any guy or gurl. |
you can imagine sodom and gomorah being better than our society. what a world! |
ojinku:amen! But am not complaining for now |
kpezi:lol, but you don't know me naw, well we thank God for now but before then naw. |
MarvellousGod:Amen! Thank you for that |
LilNetty:lols, He that will give them to me will also provide that which will sustain them. Don't you think so? |
God when the time reaches please bless me with a set of twins like this, Amen! Cute babies |
Yungwizzzy:sorry, but you lied on this one. When a girl is realy in love she does the unthinkable. |
@op, I feel you are afraid of facing a lot of responsibilities that come with adulthood. You can't run away from them and b'live you me, you don't want to be for ever young. 'you wan remain as a boyoyo?'. This is another stage in your life so face it ok. Cheers! |
Ave! Maria. |
Ray360: okay, well, distance might be a barrier. Are you on any chat app? Fabebook or 2go?Am on facebook. just send me your adress so we can chat through facebook. |
pansophist: Lol, slow brain.take it easy swthrt, we are not fighting ok.we have bad ladies and bad guys as well. my take is that I hate deception be it lady or guy. Thanks |
I can imagine your pain. U were once a victim right? Women are not usually bad rather u met the wrong type. Sorry u hear? pansophist: See them, holiest than thou. |
But does it really make sense? Since a guy knows that he will not marry a particular lady why engage her in a fake relationship in the first place? Sometimes men make women to be bad. For your friend? He is not free yet. His day is coming. |
Ray360: Thanks Ejanni. Happy independence day too. Do you have a platform where you post your poems?no. I've not gotten and I would love to have but I don't know how to create that. If you know please put me through. Thank you |
This is beautiful and interesting. Weldon sir and happy independence day to you too. |
Ray360: you wrote well. Just a little advice, work on imagery. And next time, make it rhyme at the coupling end. Romantic poems 'taste' better when rhymed.thank you very much for reading and for your advice. But the poem is not realy a romantic poem but a poem for Nigerians. |
this is culled from my collection of poems. It was written to wish Nigerians happy independence and for reflection. Please Feel free to correct and support me. Thanks and Happy reading! |
with a heart as heavy as rock And deep like nostalgic abyss I write to you my laggard love Do you remember that day? You took that oath of commitment. That day you were let loose by your fosters. To cling to your household. After all struggles and hold backs As you bragged to have learnt How to marry and parent well. But so egacious it be now That you'er no near to the task Since the day of your vow till date This union has been in callow See your chldren gulp wine of power. And staggar in avarice like a drunken urchin in the street. Junta, partition and succession ambushed them and knocked them off balance. Oh wazobia! my love Ignorance and depravity have taken a heavy toll on them, our traitorous and indolent children Their heritage abused like a Maid servant in a LovePeddler house Now the virile advocates for neo- colonialsm. No initiative except that might cow all try to milk down. Your kinsmen that run to you for Solace have all woken from sleep And now your chldren run to To them for asylum like a Lord in A vassal's hut. Annually our union festival we Feast. With little or nothing to Show for it. We've grown but yet In callow. Yet to realize our oath Of commitment. Wazobia! Am no bare in shame desert. Wazobia! Oh my ageless love Ladies delight oh pigrims favorite You who have all it takes to be a Man. Wake up and chastise your Children. Before the ocean of Mediocrity drowns them up. Or should we go back to them? I mean our fosters that joined us Never! I heared you shout Then arise and exorcise this slumbery. For with this our legs as thin as That of a sickly mosquito Even in centenary we would be no Near to a mileage. |
swaggzo: And if I don't, I'll get a slap because you're a lady and I'm a guy right. I don't know about you but I think your logic is as stupid as this post.bros nobi qurrel naw! Hian. |
22yrs? Hmmmm. Mummy my upper teeth don fall again o. I'm 7yrs old and counting. |
mine wasn't funny @ all o! to the extent I urinated on my bunky in my jss1. Though I was still tender then. But the shame and mockery made me to pray to God to take away the 'cup' from me and HE did answered me. |
Ukutsgp: till then the suffering continues.nothing good comes easy! This is a country of over two hundred million people and you think it is right for few individuals to see the leadership positions as their birth right abi? there are better people it is just that they don't see the polity conducive enough to come out. As for others 'you cannot learn left hand in the old age'.they had their chances. |
