I knew the man had nothing to offer when he was busy saying God, God, by the grace of God. There's no grace of God here. We like to use spirituality to cover incompetence and lack of talent or ability. Although our players were terrible, there was no hunger and desire, and it was lacklustre, Finidi is a disaster already happening and about to get worse. |
Eyinmba should be expelled from the league or docked 20 points |
Shame on Turnaround maintenance. |
I think for those that can't pay, they better reduce the number of days these people need to report to work. Maybe work twice a week or thrice. Then they can be free to work elsewhere on other days. |
This is good. Now invest in education. |
Taking a bow is a sign of respect and appreciation. If he didn't call them out, they would still have done it when they see Mr President to thank him. There's no need to be hypocritical. Is just that Wike matter dey always carry strong thing |
You have hands sir, you have eyes and legs. Please drive yourself. |
Stop beating about the bush. Let the president come and apologize for his over zealous pronouncement on the first day of office. Let him bring himself down and say I am sorry, I didn't know what I was doing and I want to retrace my step. Subsidy was not the main issue, it was the criminal cabal that controlled subsidy that ought to have been dealt with. |
seguntijan:He actually can. It's within the purview of the executive to budget for each expense that will be made in a budget year. The reason they don't touch their money is that they still need the approval of the legislature for any budget and they have to lobby them with money to get the approval they need. If the president slashes their money with the excuse that the nation can't afford it, they'll in turn withhold approval to fundings needed by the executive. There are many ways the president can do that but it will create disharmony between the executive and the legislature. He can only do it with their own support. If he has as many people in the NASS he can lobby for a decrease in their money, he'll win the fight but there's no political will power to take them on. |
E shock Tinubu. They thought it was business as usual and they could blame Peter Obi or Labour Party but this one has nothing to do with them. And I'm happy they have not even said anything at all |
lailo:We are not compatriots. That ended last week sir 😞 |
Exactly... This is the crux of the matter. If FG had said no hajj this year because of money and use former vehicles because we don't have money, I tell you Labour will be grateful if FG pays 40k minimum wage 😀 |
So your rich idea, let them suffer and die of hunger. While the government continues to feed fat. Wow! So sensitive and considerate. When government dished out money to import bulletproof vehicles, you didn't write this rubbish about inflation. When they increased vat, removed oil and forex subsidy, paid billions for Pilgrimage and travel, no inflation story. Now that you see that labour is serious and have gone ahead with the strike and there's close to 100% compliance, you are trying to guilt trip us into inflation. We can manage with 2% inflation increase according to your story if they pay us 100k. At least, we can afford it. Thank God you mentioned productivity. If this govt isn't productive, they don't deserve to have peace while we suffer. Let us see that they are doing something and not bragging here and there. worst administration in the history of Nigeria. |
Where is that man always shouting inflation? That paying workers a living wage will bring inflation? I hope you have seen here what's causing inflation. All the trillions borrowed was for what? To buy themselves bulletproof vehicles and spend on pilgrimage right? Because I can't actually see what the borrowing has translated to in terms of economic improvement. The government owes it to the citizens to tell us what they have used all these monies for and how it's translating into economic improvement. |
Otamendi99:The rise in inflation was whose fault to begin with? The workers or the senseless and thoughtless policy implemented by a government without proper consultation? How did we get to the rise in prices of food items? Did labour demand this rise when things were quite on the low side? How do you expect them to survive? When they see government officials enjoying flamboyantly and spending on foolishness, don't you think they will have a rethink? If the president reduced his spendings and the spending of NASS and the administration while lamenting that we have limited resources, do you think labour will demand anything? They automatically know that things are quite tough as even the president is cutting down. But No. Let his son get a yatch. Let his family and all politicians get bulletproof vehicles. Let's travel and spend as we like. But let those poor stupid workers suffer because they deserve nothing. Let them go and buy food for N200 and eat jare, after all what are they even doing. Increasing salary won't bring inflation. Government only have to cut down on their frivolities to be able to pay the minimum wage demanded and they're not willing to do that. That's what this strike is about. Leave the gateman and the betnaija shop, we will sort them out when time comes but this is where we begin. Nobody is asking government to print more money and put into circulation, we are saying don't spend foolishly on yourselves and family and spend it on the workers. Shikinah! |
Otamendi99:Nobody is asking for 400k. The minimum is at least N75-100k. But government must cut down on their own foolish expenditures and not feel they are our fathers because we voted them in there. We didn't send them there to go and enjoy while we suffer. Enough is enough. We don't want wage awards, we want a signed bill and law. We don't want foodstuffs, we want a legitimate investment in agriculture to ensure food security. See how Dangote achieved refining of crude? What the hell in NNPC doing with stupid turnaround maintenance for donkey years without the ability to refine just one barrel of crude? This government is not serious at all. We want serious people running our country, whether APC or not. I don't care if BAT stole the election or not, just do your job, that's all. |
Offer 75k to Labour. Show good faith. Scrap unnecessary spending. Scrap pilgrim board. Reduce presidential fleet. Just show good faith. Don't assume you are better than Nigerian workers. Don't assume you are our bosses because we voted you there. Just show good faith. |
As much as I see this government as a failure in the past one year, this is one of the best things it is doing. I hope FG wins. BAT is still a sham so far though. |
You finally have done the bearest minimum of your job and we have to clap for you or call a press conference? Sad! |
And Tinubu was not desperate? Where did I hear Emilokan? Who stole votes with thugs and judges? Leave their desperation alone. We will gladly have them than the current administration a hundred times over. |
Just apologise and mean it. Beg him and if possible kneel. He'll turn to ice water |
This man is officially mad |
If you pay service charge, then Landlord. If not, all the tenants should gather money and repair since you have been the one using it. If you wait for landlord, you might wait for a very long time |
We are just lazy in this country |
Didn't he see the signs or red flags before? |
CodeTemplar:Inflation is not an excuse to make people suffer. Paying people what's due isn't what's going to bring inflation. If government wants to show good faith, they can cut unnecessary spending on frivolities and pay workers. I can't imagine the government saying the minimum wage should be N48,000. For what exactly? You can't even get a good meal for N1,000 anymore, not to talk of three square meal nor meal for the family. If government truly wants to bring down inflation, there are so many ways to do that and not by stifling poor workers and giving stupid excuses. Dealing with systemic corruption will bring down inflation. Investing in the right sectors the right way will bring down inflation, production, like you said, will bring down inflation and cutting the cost of government and stupid things like N90bn for Pilgrimage will bring down inflation. Not transferring the cost to people who actually work. Yes, there may be unproductive people in the system, but that doesn't mean the ones who actually work should be paid like slaves and can't even afford to feed while the stupid politicians go about in pomp and glory. Be a little sympathetic to the ploy of workers and not use inflation as an excuse. This government is already a collosal failure but they could begin to do the right thing by putting forward a better living minimum wage and make it a law with penalties for defaulters, whether private or govt. Whether that wage is N100k is up for debate, but N48,000 is an insult! |
Is this a demon? This actually looks horrific. There's no beauty in this at all. I don't like tattoos but I don't condemn anyone who gets one. That's their preference. But not like this haba |
You are not making it any issue. Tell him to include your name. If it was your name and not his, how would he feel? I'm sure he'd declare the documents invalid. This is our world today and nobody prays for anything bad to happen but they do. |
Are we in 2023? |
How much to build a new one Oga? Why do we like holding on to past glory or Antiques? Sell the scrap to iron condemn people. We should be talking about assisting the private sector establish a steel plant now, not reviving what's dead and buried. |
Question is, all your struggle and promises and determination, how has it helped you? Instead of focusing on the sin, focus on Jesus. Looking unto Jesus is the way... The moment we focus our energy on our weakness and not on Christ, we become overpowered by those sin and struggles. Reading the bible and prayer is the way to focus on Jesus... He didn't deliver the point well, but his point is "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith". The only issue with sin is it always makes you remove your eyes from Jesus because of guilt. I can tell you for free that the desire to study the word of God or pray goes away because of guilt. That's the battle. This is where knowledge comes in. Like the prodigal son, you must remember you have a Father and his love and Mercy is beyond comprehension. You must always arise and never remain in the rot. Porn addiction is a serious battle as it enslaves the brain. Study the word of God to help you gain knowledge of who you are in Christ as that helps you grow and defeat those passions and desires |
You only showed a section of the road... I'm sure you can do a lot better. |
