Nigerian Constitution respects people's faith and their decisions on health matters. As for the minor children their parents' decision is binding on them. However if the child is 14 or 16 ,he has becomes a minor adult who can speak for himself. A lot of judgements in Nigeria up to Appeal Courts and Supreme Court have been given to support the right of Jehovah's witnesses to practice their religion according to their conception including their objection to blood transfusion.
Modern medicine has gone beyond blood transfusion because of the risks it possesses.Bloodless surgeries are most preferred by many doctors both abroad and in Nigeria. A woman who is a JW was operated upon some weeks ago in Nigeria. She is hale and hearty after the bloodless surgery. Let us see what we happen after this exparte order by the magistrate who seems not to be aware of the extent judgements in related cases in Nigeria
OLAADEGBU: Regrettably, the parents of Ruth declined, stating that they were members of Jehovah's Witnesses and their faith did not allow blood transfusion.
abc115: APC celebrates as Senator Kawu from NNPP joins the Party
. The calculation is to use Kwankaso as the APC flag bearer in 2031.He will win then. That is why you will soon see a barrage of new entrants in APC from NNP in Kano State

During the OBJ second term all states in the SS and SW were taken over by the PDP except Lagos. Same is taking place now. With the strength of APC in the South the 2027 battle is won already. My opinion though.
baralatie: How do you determine that they are not pos operators when the court saw the POS machine that they are using
. EFCC even goes out to.make personal money.Hardly will you go to any town without POS operators in Nigeria.Yet EFCC has not done anything. That shows that the Commission has always been silent on the POS users. What makes this difference?
I know exchange of notes is against the law and this has been frowned up always.
Thank you for directing my attention to this unusual administration of justice in Nigeria.
These people are not POS operations. They are those who will parade new notes for exchange with commission for them. What have the EFCC done to people doing so on the North?
. K1 never said he is no2. He always talks about Barrister as 1 and you as 2. He was made King of Fuji at the NTA Ibadan and Barrister himself opened his cap and covered his head with it to show he is qualified enough to coordinate the Fuji House at all times. I am only surprised with your childish argument about K1 . You don't behave like an elderly person. You and KI are not rivlals Why all the noise between you daily? You are a not ashamed of yourself sir with your filmsy argument.
GistMedia0: It was a spiritual scene at a Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination centre today as anxious parents turned the waiting area into a makeshift prayer ground.
Dozens of parents, visibly tensed and emotionally invested, were spotted praying fervently—some pacing back and forth, others clasping their hands or even going on their knees—as their children sat inside the hall for the crucial exam that could determine their university admission.
While some muttered quiet prayers under their breath, others openly called on divine intervention, asking for wisdom, remembrance, and calm for their wards.
However, the scene has sparked mixed reactions online. While some netizens criticized the act, calling it public hypocrisy and questioning why such energy isn't directed into academic preparation, others defended the parents, calling it a genuine display of parental love and deep concern for their children's future.
I am a Covenant University graduate. Some years ago during my 200L I enrolled for a course themed "CHM212: Physical Chemistry". After the semester end, half of the class failed the course miserably. So we retook the course in 300 Level as a "carryover", then I failed this course again. Then in 400L I enrolled for this course again.
This time around I read severely for the course because a failure would amount to an extra year. But when I got to the exam hall and opened the questions, much of it looked like Arabic to me. I couldn't even make sense of what the question was talk more of what the answers could be. Beyond writing my name, I could only attempt a few questions.
Looking around I could see how the 200 level Chemistry students where flipping papers. I could only curse my own department for making us enroll to Chemistry courses that were of little relevance to my department. To make things worse, some of these 200 level students where requesting for extra papers and I was wondering why anyone would need extra papers.
From afar it was clear that my 400L class mates also retaking the course where equally in disarray. One was sweating under AC, the other had that look - you know that look of a clueless person who was certain of failure and the last was making unsuccessful attempts to 'giraffe' another student. Some minutes later, some people started submitting scripts, then the principal supervisor declared 10 minutes more for the rest of us.
The moment she made that declaration, it was as though the reality of an extra year came blaring at my face. I could feel tension surging down my body from neck down and then my muscles contracted. Two seconds before, I was now certain I was going to have an ejaculation. I immediately held my head and pretended as though I was having a painful headache as one or two people looked my way wondering why I had a 'squirting face' and was in apparent discomfort.
After the ejaculation I felt peace of mind. So I immediately stood up and dashed towards the exit with my almost blank papers in hand covering my groin. I submitted and ran back to my hostel room before anyone could notice any wet spurt on my trousers. I changed over and ran back to Chapel begging God for even a D so I can graduate.
Glory to God, when the results came out I had a D - which is the minimum grade you could evade a carryover/extra year at CU.
But till today I wonder why and how I could have had that disgustingly embarrassing experience. I would be grateful if Doctors or Biologist could explain why such a thing would happen to me at an examination. I would like to know if anyone has experienced anything remotely close to that. Thank you for your time
. It is as a result of anxiety stress and tension . You are a normal person.
I know the story will be distorted later. It is a normal thing in law.Why withdrawal of his money? Why selling his property? Every criminal also leaves a trace behind for him or her to be arrested.
Dogalmighty17: No details o! Nothing! An autopsy was done and it revealed she died from causes that had no link with physical harm. Dr. Paul Enenche himself sent top doctors to attend to the woman before her death. Not one of them said violence in any way led to her death. This judgement by the courts is a mystery to me.
Here's Dr. Paul Enenche himself on YouTube talking about what he knows about her death. In the beginning of the video, we clearly hear him say that Osinachi AND her husband came to meet him for prayer regarding her chest issues. We hear him mention that at some point, Osinachi was recovering fully after admission. Not one of the consultants mentioned that they saw injury in her from any form of trauma.
. I am interested in the details that connected the death of the woman to her husband. Is thorough beating , poisoning ,electrocution abuse or what ? Pls does anybody have the details of the proceedings.
Ridross: I’m currently studying for my first degree in Statistics. I can graduate with a 2.1 effortlessly, but getting a first-class would require a bit effort. My issue is that I’m already balancing a job, plus I’m feeling lazy and unmotivated about school.
For those who have graduated and have experience about the labour market, please:
Are there any significant advantages to having a first-class over a 2.1? Did it make a difference in your career, further studies, or job opportunities?
I need real-life experiences and opinions to convince me whether to put in the effort or just avoid unnecessary stress.
Omooba77: Arsenal won the first leg by 3-0 goals to nothing against MReal Madrid, with two screamers from Declan Rice and subtle goal from Mureno...... COYG....
. This person knows nothing about the judicial administration. He is just a political analyst.
1. The voting materials must be serially documented
If this was not done, does it affect the results? In Kano ,ballot papers of Local Government A were taking to Local Government B. The SC validated the election of the incumbent governor and set aside the Tribunal judgement. Where were you then ?Is that not a precedent?
2. APC has 23 on IREV but 230 on EC8 hard copy results.
Have you forgotten that IREV results have been discredited by the SC.? Oyetola vrs Adeleke. Tinubu vrs Obi and Atiku SC believes INEC results declared in person are more reliable than the IREV results which may be affected by electronic loss and other human errors. Is that not a precedent?
3. Tribunal compelled INEC to bring the BVAS machines at the request of the PDP.
The machines were brought but not demonstrated. If they were demonstrated how would that affect the results of the elections.? The duty of the Tribunal is not to be the prosecution counsel or guide the proof of the case. When cross examining the INEC official ,the PDP lawyers who asked the Tribunal to compel the Commission to bring the materials would ask the officials to demonstrate the machines.
I am not an APC or PDP supporter but Edo results will be validated by the AC and SC.Also anybody who comes to the court with IREV results is just wasting his time. Only the electronic voting is the solution to our problem in Nigeria.
Malroux: That Tinubu should resign is an understatement. If Nigerians are brave people, Tinubu wouldn't have survived the first month in office for increasing the price of fuel. Nigerians are all talks and no action. Especially the Niger Delta that lays the golden egg.
. What you have said is a reality. 8 years is sure for the SW. That is why till now no protest in the SW even when some people are complaining the on-going hardship. The North cannot spend 8 years while the South will spend 4 years.
That is even enough to cause civil crisis in Nigeria.
. Each I see Obi wasting his time in an attempt to be President I pity him.He does not understand the Nigerian politics. How many times has he visited the Nigerian prisons? He is doing this to seek support of the people! Good luck to him!
In 2023 I said Obi would not win because the North is not interested in the SE presidency. Has Obi ever sat down to reflect on the hatred of the North against the SE presidency? He is on the move now on another futile efforts.Even if he sleeps in all states in the North, they would not vote him there.OBJ himself knows the fact till now . As for me all Nigerian politicians are the same. When they need you they can roll on the ground!
