No a free and fair election in the history of Nigeria except that of June 12 1993.
FEDECO under Shagari was known for vote pregnancies and electoral violence . Infact a day before election all ballot papers must have been thumprinted in different places in the country. Obasanjo was even worse . He was the mastermind of the overwhelming things that led to the PDP wins of many states of the SW during his Second Term. On fact ,Musa Yardua said the election that made him president was married with corruption and malpractices.The story continues till today. Now it is a new thing thing . You win at the poling units and at the State Collation Centre. That is all. No election is perfect.

With the results of 15 local government areas already announced by INEC, APC has taken an unassailable lead with PDP in distant second and favourite IPOB party LP no where to be found. I just arrived from Lagos/Ibadan Train journey! I boarded from Agege and I saw many Abokis (Hausas) lying on Track. I call the attention of Nrc staff and he said: They have chased them away but they refuse to stop lying on track! As we moved towards Ibadan , many of them were still lying on rail line!
