Bigo8291: Why are Nigerians so jealous, what about Nigeria against Ethiopia. You guys were awarded two penalty but I didn't see any nigerian crying about officiating.
The two penalties were WELL-DESERVED. Replay the video yourself. I don't have to be the one to tell you this.

Anyway, congratulations to Ghana sha.

- he genuinely went for the ball.

PetroDollaz: You're absolutely right.they r tensed n it is affecting their game.wakaso on
Football has always been this way. It doesn't matter what your prior records are - As soon as you're facing another opponent, the slates are wiped clean.
This is the same Cape Verde that defeated the almighty Cameroun, denying them a spot in the tournament. You don't know what you're up against, mehn.
Portugal can wallop a country 7-0 in the World Cup, only to be defeated 1-0 in their next match by a struggling Spain.
That's just how the game is.
Cape Verde might just shock a lot of people.
So, ki ni big deal? If the man favours his people? clear case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. Who are those shouting and trying to skin this man alive because he is ibo?

Even though, I don't support any corruption or trying to hold brief for him but I want to shamelessly say here that the recruitment process in Nigeria military has alway been like this, right from the time immemorial. Those without sin should cast the first stone!.

Now, where were these people writing petition when small town like Zuru emirate council in Kebbi State produced many generals? The likes of General Ishaya Bamaiyi, Musa Bamaiyi, General Sani Sami? Jakolo?? No one complained when Musa Bamaiyi and Ishaya Bamaiyi, both Generals and brothers from thesame parents became ministers simultaneously?

Where were these people when General Ishaya Bamaiyi the then COAS enlisted truck loads of miscreants from his village into the Nigerian army disregarding the due process and the useless quota system?

Many of which can't even write their names? There was a time when more than half of recruits in Kaduna Jaji came from his village and at thesame time populating NDA with Zuru indigenes. Yes, quote me anytime!!!!

Selective Promotionhuh Where were they when Obj promoted Nuhu Ribadu from mere Assistance Commissioner of Police ( ACP) to Assistance Inspector General of Police (AIG), the first of its kind in the history of the Nigerian police blatantly against the recommendation of Police Service Commission?
I think Rhino.5dm's account has been hacked.

I have a feeling Ghana will win. And if they do win, they probably deserve it.
But at the back of my mind, I'm hoping an 'unknown' like Cape Verde carries the day.

Excuse me, why has this thread not made the homepage yet?

https://www.nairaland.com/1181472/nokia-signs-exclusive-deal-nigerian

Nokia just signed a deal with the runaway success iROKOtv, for their Nokia Lumia brand... Providing mobile access to the Nollywood movie-streaming network... Yet, it's not fit to make the frontpage.

But you turn around and swamp us with useless pictures of a boobilicious Ikeduru mgbeke actress without make-up?

God help us!

I makwa na de foolish man was early spitting fire on the pages of newspapers about how the Home Video format (you know, in all of its cheap glory) was fast heading to irrelevance, thanks to other outlets like AfricaMagic and their non-conventional mode of film broadcasting (by Naija standards).

I guess this man has never heard of evolution before.

I've got nothing against Ghana - and heck, to be quite honest, I believe their games so far have been nothing short of brilliant and entertaining... But I'm such a sucker for underdog victories.

So, just like last year when I supported Zambia to the top, I'm hoping Cape Verde wins this match, and the tournament.

...And this is coming from a Naija man. undecided

Art, Graphics & VideoRe: Are Kelvin Okafor's Portraits Fake? by Ejine(m): 9:05pm On Jan 31, 2013
I got this link on him on DeviantArt. It's pretty interesting. Happened way back in 2010

http://priscillaw.deviantart.com/journal/Deviant-Art-sent-15-automated-messages-UPDATE-Pt-3-223768438

What it looks like, to be frank, is just a bunch of bitter white kids angry he outshines them and has more fans than they all do combined. For instance, one of the losers DavieDave went like: "What pains me is that we put so much work in our drawings, yet blah blah blah".

If they were really convinced he wasn't as good as they were, they wouldn't be shamelessly trying to reach all outlets (including his FB fanpage) in a desperate bid to tell others he's fake.

What infact is the truth, is that it consumes, burns and kills them inside that his drawings sell for 6000+ pounds while they idle around DeviantArt with their meaningless Sonic-The-Hedgehog drawings nobody cares to see.

Fast forward 3 years later, the world-renowned BBC (which contains skilled journalists and professional digital art critics capable of sniffing out falsities should there be any) has picked up young Kelvin Okafor's work, found NOTHiNG fake about it, and has decided to broadcast this young man's impressive talent to the whole world.

And where are the erstwhile keyboard warriors and DaVinci's of DeviantArt fame? Dead and forgotten in the bowels of cyberspace irrelevance where they rightfully belong.
PhonesRe: Nokia Signs Exclusive Deal With Nigerian Movie Streaming Service Irokotv by Ejine(m): 8:20pm On Jan 31, 2013
Damn!

I think iROKOtv is really shaping up to be our NetFlix!
I may not be into 99.98 percent of what Nollywood shamelessly churns out, but I'm really optimistic.

With a larger audience comes greater attention. With greater attention comes greater investment. And with greater investment comes a marked rise in the overall quality, so there's nowhere else to go but up.

Emeka Ike should go and face the wall.
