Good morning all, I actually got admission into University of New orleans becos of the cheap tuition fee. But, recently dscovered my fiancee in texas (schooling) and her family are there too. Now, i am thinking if i finally get the fi visa would it be possible for me not to report in New orleans at all and negotiate my way into another school and program in Texas? atleast to cut accomodation cost. Like if am opting for a college degree as against a university masters captured on my i20. Anticipating a response.

Thanks all.

Good day All, Please a quick one. I am planning to apply for Canadian Visa to A college for Post-graduate program and below are my concerns;

- Is it compulsory i get a study leave form from my Employer?
- Must I go through vfs or its possible I do the direct online application. If I do straight online, how then will I complete the Biometrics even after paying the 85cdn online.

Thanks all.

Anbako / Solomonwise et al, I need answers please.

Morning all, If i apply for a one year Certificate program in canadian university with a study leave letter as back up from my employer. Do i stand a good chance of getting the visa?

Note: I already have a bsc and an Mba + mega working experience.

I am already in the pool but needed to be on ground to boost points.

Thanks.

Good morning Gud people.... pls assist with my concerns below. I have over 8 yrs working experience in Marketing Management and an Mba degree in Marketing management plus Bsc same field. What are my chances of gettin a canadian visa approved if i apply a 1year certificate program in same field (Business admin - Marketing management) in a canadian university and back it up with a 1year study leave letter from my current employer.
Also, are certificates programs higher than Diploma or pgd? Becos in this case the university's requirement is a graduate degree, unlike in diploma where the requirment is post secondary school degree.

I am already in the express entry pool and just trying several other options that would put me on ground there.
Thanks all.

Good morning guud people. I had my Visa interview in dec 2014 and was put on administrative processing. Status was recently updated in July but admin. processing continue and i was told they will get back to me when they are through. Note, the interview went well and ll documents including my passport were given back to me. Now, with this process still in progress, can i apply for a visiting visa (one week stay).
I am a working class and certainly would get a backing letter from my office but dont want to complicate issues.Hence, this question. Thanks all.

SeraSera:
I doubt that all Canadian universities require a GMAT/GRE for your field, regardless of what that field is. Nevertheless you have chosen to go the PGD route, so to your questions:

1) No. Your application is judged on its overall merit. The only specified condition is that you're admitted into a Designated Learning Institution.
2) It depends on your institution. If this is a part of their requirement, you would be instructed to do so and probably wouldn't need to ask.
3) They are generally the same. If you've received both from your institution, the one that says something along the lines of, "...We are pleased to offer you admission into so and so program..." is the one you want to include in your application.
4) Your tuition plus other fees and then some.
Thank you Serasera, I am well pleased with the breakdown. God bless

Good day my very good people. Please I need an urgent clarification. I am already swimming in the pool but, sincerely i have been applying for pnp and job offer to boost e.e point. None of the 2 has yielded result up till now. On a second thought, I decided applying to a cost-less university in Canada and continue my e.e things once admitted. Unfortunately, all univ. require the gmats/gre for admission to my field. Now I am thinking of applying to a college for post-graduate diploma (PGD). Note, not ordinary college diploma. I already have an MBA in business field though. These are my questions;

1. Will one be able to secure canadian student visa easily going by the above as compared to a university?
2. Is it compulsory i make first semester remittance from nigeria before i get letter of acceptance?
3. Is there any difference between letter of acceptance and offer letter? If yes, which of them is a requirement at the embassy.
4. Lastly, the account balance expected by the embassy for a student visa, is it to contain * Your total tuition fee or * Tuition + other fees.

Would appreciate succinct responses.

My guud people once again, I applied to Northern Lights College in BC and I have been issued Letter of Acceptance (LOA) just two days after paying the 100cdn app fee and sent my docs to them online. Now, can anyone please for the love of God guide me on the next step to take? At what point will i be expected to remit my fees? Am i still expecting anythin document from the school beside the letter of acceptance...

Thanks all.

Yeah I thought so too. But overall, that should not be an issue for me.
One more question - a VERY silly question so please pardon me in advance wink
I have OND; Bsc and MSc.
I have sent my BSc and MSc transcript to WES. But I am tempted to contact them about my OND. Do you think this is worth it? Will I get any benefit (point) for another post secondary education if I add my OND? People in the pool are doing everything possible to improve there points. So, maybe I may get a few points more if I add my OND. But not sure if it will count since I already added my Bsc and Msc.
What is your opinion on this?
It is fine you have already sent your BSc and Msc. Unfortunately you will only get mark for the highest qualification which is the Msc. That would fetch you 23 points (crs). Adding your Ond would only boost your documents and waste more time but not a jot added to your points.

From experience.

Hi @ Tola73. thanks for your response. What i wanna know is , i paid 85cnd for that when i was applying (total 322 cnd). However, what i have in my order on their site is "international express" and there was no Tracking number. Could this be the same thing as international courier?
Thanks.

zandora:
- My friend ordered via international express and received it in 3 weeks (he lives in the UK btw)

- I used courier and got mine in 4 days via UPS (I'm based in the UK)

- Although the number on the online ECA report can at times be the same on the ECA hard copy, other times it can be different (know someone who received a different no)

Cheers
Thanks @ Zandora, i have checked over and again on Wes site to possibly make another order via courier but no link. Is there a way you could help out?

Thanks.

Hello All, I just got my email Wes Eca report today and theres no tracking number because it was sent via international express even though I paid 85cnd. Please ;

- how long will it take to deliver to naija (international express without tracking number)

- how can I order for a courier mail on same report (how long will dis take to deliver.

- theres a number on d online eca report (ECA NUMBER). Is this synonymous to the Wes cert. number bein asked for when completing the e.e profile?

Would appreciate detailed answers accordingly from my fellow comrades.

Thanks

Morning gud people. Please I started an e.e profile some days back, completed a whole lot of required information etc but could not submit to enter into the pool due to delay from Wes which is still lingering. I ve 60 days to submit my profile and dat 60 days xpired 2day. My question is since I did not submit my profile before xpiration of 60 days would it in any way affect my application again if I use same details I use the first time after getting my Wes? I feel since I have not submitted den it wont count in anyway becos it was work in progress.

Clear me pls. Tnkx.
