Today, after buying 3 new alarm clocks, I finally decided to video tape myself all night to figure out if my alarm clock was broken or if I was oversleeping. Turns out I wake up around 4am each day and turn them off without remembering.
Today, I accidentally hit someone's car while at the supermarket. I left a note, went shopping, and when I came back my windows were shattered, my tires were slashed and"f you"was written on my windshield.
Today, I realised half my underpants were missing. In related news, my slob of a housemate hasn't washed hers in several weeks, and has been stealing mine.
Today, I was making love to my fiancée, when she dug her nails into my back and told me to"choke"her like I did last night. I was at work last night.

Chocboyslim: Honestly, i don't know what to do.....My elder bro wife to be is dying for me & my only brother who trusted me so much never notice it.

All this started when i celebrated my birthday last year & my elder bro funded everything such as drinks, foods etc, except the cake & the party house decoration which was funded by his fiancee. She even bought me a 'Rolex stone watch' as a birthday gift right before my brother.

I never knew that she had feelings for me then, until one fateful morning, when she blew it open by sending me 'morning love texts' confessing that she loves me & will do anything to make me happy. First time i saw the text, i thought it was a mistake, that she wanted to send it to my bro but when i call to confirm, she told me that the text was for me. At first i couldn't say anything, i was speechless, never believed it until when i met her one on one in my bro absent that she make it clearer to me that she was madly in love with me & even ended it up with a hot kiss.

Honestly, my brother's fiancee is truly beautiful that no man can resist her easily & my bro who trusted me so much never noticed dis.......

what should i do? Should i make this known to my bro or should i keep it secret & enjoy her ?

Pls am confused now, need your advise!

Nairaland GeneralShould A Pastor Be Paid A Regular Monthly Salary? by Ejisz(op): 11:25am On May 05, 2013
I've been trying to get my head aroundthis issue. I used to think it was right since the bible says 'those who work ast the temple must eat at the temple, but after re-assesing my views over the issue, i came to the conclusion that pastors should NOT be paid monthly salary or any form of renumeration due to the following reasons
A. Getting a salary means you are nottrusting God to be your source of provision. Afterall, when Jesus needed money for tax, he simply asked his disciples to go and check themouth of a fish
B. If you are getting a salary, how can you convince your congregation tobuild their faith when you yourself are not exercising faith
C. How can any man pay adequately for work done for God? Only God himself can do that
D. We never heard of Jesus and rhe apostles taking salaries. They depended on God to meet their needs
E. Taking a salary from the church purse means the pastor is under pressure when funds are not coming in and this explains why some pastors go to extra ordinary length toconvince their congregation to pay tithes and to sow seed into the church coffers. The reason might not be for the benefit of the church but because the pastor is moved by his own personal circumstance
F. Since the pastor is not the only worker in the church, it then means if he is getting a salary, other workers - choiristers, cleaners, ushersetc must also be paid salaries. It's either everyone is paid or nobody gets paid
G. God's work is meant to be volountary lest anyone goes into it for financial gain
What are your thoughts peeps?

Nairaland GeneralRe: Three Things That Tecno Needs To Do To Win Nigerians Mobile Users Confidence by Ejisz(op): 7:42am On May 04, 2013

Nairaland GeneralThree Things That Tecno Needs To Do To Win Nigerians Mobile Users Confidence by Ejisz(op): 9:03pm On May 03, 2013
Nigerians are Seriously Falling in Love with the Techno Brand, Cool & Cheap Andriod Phone.
I have been following mobile products made by Tecno for awhile. No-one saw the invasion coming, but it is here and Tecno are on to something. I dare say that the only brand inNigeria that is more synonymous with Android in Nigeria at the moment is Samsung. That isn’t surprising considering the huge resources that Sammy throws at marketing. But walk around Computer Village in Ikeja and your eyes will surely be treated to the bold blue and white colours and logo of Tecno on buildings, signage and even vehicle. Tecnoare bold and unapologetic about their intentions to stamp their print on the mobile market in Nigeria.
So far, they haven’t done badly. Tecno is selling feature phones and smartphones everywhere possible, and people are buying. However, if Tecno will build on this early success, it is my opinion that there are at least three things that they need to do.
Put a minimum of 1GB RAM on flagships
It is sacrilegious to have anything less than 1GB RAM on an Android flagship. End of story. Putting a measly 512 MB RAM on devices like the N7 and D5 will just not cut it. Yes; you are doing budget, but do give your flagship devices some extra Ooomph! Give enthusiasts that extra performance that sets flagships apart from the rest of the pack.
Make detailed specifications and info about your phones available
Looking for specifications of Tecno smartphones can often be like looking for a needle in the haystack. Even Tecno’s own official website does not have any records of some of their newest phones. This is unacceptable. Information is power. Put it out there. One should not have to scour the world wide web with a comb to find out how much RAM is on a device.
Upgrade that brand
“Tecno” is simple, memorable and all, but it has this ring to it that just doesn’t feel polished enough. Perhaps you can play around a bit. This isn’t something that is urgent, of course. A re-branding campaign now will mean spending funds that can be channeled into technical prowess. The first two items that I listed are much more important, but somewhere along the line, I recommend a makeover of thebrand to appeal to more refined minds.
Tecno seems to be here to stay. Where other smaller brandshave failed, they have succeeded in stamping themselves on the difficult Nigerian landscape. That is an accomplishment that I hope they will build on. When I say that Nigerians love Tecno, I really mean that Nigerians do. No; not the suit-wearing upper class crowd that are the minority. I mean the 90% who are having access to connected devices because of Tecno’s dirt cheap prices

TravelUS Finally Cancels Visa Lottery, Many Africans/nigerians To Lose Out by Ejisz(op): 8:44pm On May 03, 2013
This is a news that will dash the hopes of many Nigerian Families, students and graduates in Nigeria as many have applied or hope to apply for the American Visa Lottery and travel out of this country as soon as they complete their education. If you are one of those with this kind of hope, you need to read this:
Africans could be the big losers as the United States reforms its immigration laws and eliminates the green card lottery, of which Africans are the main beneficiaries.
Half of the 50,000 residence permits handed out at random each year are earmarked for Africans. It is a hugely popular program that has allowed hundreds of thousands of Africans to settle in America since the mid 1990s.
But the ambitious reform project under debate now in Washington, which would provide papers for million undocumented immigrants, contains a clause that would do away with the lottery.
In its place would be a more selective immigration system based on skills, career and family ties.
For years the lottery has been in the crosshairs of Republicans, who control the House of Representatives and say it adds no value to the American economy.
“It’s clear that there are better ways to allocate visas than to randomly give them out through a lottery system,” said Bob Goodlatte, the Republican who leads the House Judiciary Committee. “Our immigration laws shouldn’t be based on the luck of the draw; rather, they should be designed strategically to benefit our country.”
The ‘diversity visa,’ as it is known formally, is set aside for people from countries that do not experience a lot of emigration. So Mexicans, Chinese and Filipinos, for instance, are not eligible. Africans quickly became the main ones to cash in.
All applicants need is a high school diploma or two years ofwork experience.
Between 2010 and 2012, one in five Africans who came to the United States to stay did so through the lottery. That made it the third most common method, at 21 percent of the total, after family reunification (43%) and refugee status or asylum seekers (23%).
By comparison, in the same period only 10 percent of Europeans who became permanent residents and 3% of Asians did so through the lottery.
“It has proven to be a way of helping those who come from the continent of Africa, those who come from a number of other areas where it is very difficult to get a visa,” said Sheila Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, whose members are all Democrats.
But in an effort to preserve the comprehensive reform being negotiated for months by the two parties, the Democrats and President Barack Obama agreed to ditch thelottery.
Representative Charles Schumer, who authored the programin 1990, said it was impossible to keep it.
Schumer said the system that will replace it in 2017 is merit-based and will also give Africans a chance. On average they are more educated than people from other continents. And English-speaking Africans would get a boost because of that language skill.
But Michael Fix of the Migration Policy Institute said, “It really probably won’t admit enough people to offset the effects of the loss of the diversity visa for some years after that. It’s a long time away. It won’t be immediately offset by any means.”
The diversity visas would vanish starting next year under the reform being negotiated.
Only four percent of African immigrants — compared to 21 percent of Asians and 22 percent of Europeans — received a green card for employment reasons in 2012.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People says the number of African immigrants will go downeven with the merit-based system.
“In essence, we’re concerned,” said Hilary Shelton, the NAACP Washington bureau director.
Dame Babou, who hosts a radio show that caters to Senegalese people in New York, said the scrapping of the lottery is disheartening for Africans.
“Every year many people thought this was going to be theiryear,” Babou said. “Again, what is being eliminated is hope.”

Romance10 Tips On How To Kiss by Ejisz(op): 4:41pm On Apr 30, 2013
Wanna perfect your French kissing technique, or just want the basics on how to kiss for the first time? Follow these kissing tips the next time you're ready to smooch.
1. Find the Right Time to Kiss The best time for a first kiss is when you're alone, there's a pause in the conversation and you're both looking into each other's eyes. Help make this moment happen by finding a way to get away from the crowd, standing or sitting close to your partner, making eye contact and letting the convo come to a natural breaking point. You'll both know when the moment is right.
2. Don't Obsess About Your Breath Your breath doesn't need to be any more minty fresh than yourkissing partner's. (For instance, if you both just had dinner together and ate equally garlicky meals, you'll be fine.) Bring some mints with you, but don't pop them obsessively. It's not necessary and it'll make you look over-eager.
3. Start With Your Lips The first thing that comes to mind when you think about frenchkissing is tongue, but that shouldn't come right away - you'll have to ease into it. Start just by lightly kissing their lips (either their top lip, their bottom lip or both) with yours.
4. Don't Make Your Tongue the Star of the Show A kiss without any tongue at all is perfectly fine. But if you want to take it to the next level, open your mouth a little wider, gently touch your tongue against theirs, and let the tips of your tongues "play around" together. Don't do much more than that, though. When it comes to tongue, a little goes a longway.
5. Use Your Hands Wisely The best spots to place your hands are around your partner's neck or waist, on the back of your partner's head, or if you want to be extra-romantic, against your partner's cheeks. Never just leave them by your side! That would be a total waste.
6. Don't Forget to Breathe Take regular breaks to pull away and look into your partner's eyes. It'll give you a chance to catch your breath and share a smile.
7. Mix It Up Don't leave your lips or your tongue in the same spot for more than a couple of seconds. The initial excitement of a first kiss is thrilling, but things can get boring awfully quickly if you don't vary your style a little.
8. When In Doubt, Follow Their Lead You don't need to be an expert on kissing to share a great kiss.If you're not sure what to do, just let your partner take over and go with the flow. As long as the two of you like each otherand are concentrating on the magic of the moment, it'll go great.
9. It's Okay to Laugh You might be tempted to laugh or make a little joke to ease the tension or hide some your nervousness. Go for it. Your partner's probably just as nervous as you are, and it'll ease thetension for them, too.
10. Know When to End It If this is your first time kissing this person, keep things brief. There'll be plenty more chances to kiss, and you want to leave them dying to lock lips with you the next time.
