AdakaBoro8: afonjaconehead afonjaheadhunt gidgiddy ekealterego nigercity notasyouthink with their fellow zombies will not comment on this..
when a bad system is favour ibos they will do everything to force u into it... thesame thing ironsi did to niger deltans 1967... igbos blindly deeds are the reasons everyone is caged in this nigeria.. thank God they are the ones feeling consequency the most.. when karma say to igbo, who are we to say no?
You are such an illiterate... This article itself is baseless... In 1953, Zik had no power or position whatsoever, the power was with the British people. Nigeria is still a British property with British administrators...
Secondly, what the illiterate wrote in the article, Zik did not support Biafra, in fact, he was on the side of Nigeria and was fighting on behalf of Nigeria. He was basically a traitor.
Discovery4today: Learn to call evil, evil, read before you comment
I know that APC is a monumental disaster... They will lead to the final dissolution of the country. I do not need Wike to tell me. He is no better but also a blood thirsty, power hungry hitler wannabe.
Yeah! As far as it is not terrorist Gunmi speaking on behalf of terrorist and bandits, all is well and fine.
If we tell you all that there is a different standard meted out to anything concerning the Igbos and former Eastern regions, they will say we are wailing. However, these people have proven and open terrorist in government and every day they grant terrorists free interviews but no one says anything because they are neither Igbos or from the Old eastern region.
Can someone put a bullet in the head of this terrorist, so that his blood and brains will nourish the desert sands of the North? This guy is going around all media houses campaigning for BH but non of the media house are being petitioned for fined but just a 9-minute harsh interview with an IPOB member, the govt was swift to action. Only a blind man will deny that this government is a terrorist one. We are being led by terrorists.
helinues: Toh, you could have get your self busy instead of being a busy body on NL..
They are always feeling threatening and aggressive whenever someone debunks their lies
If you were not duuummmbb, you would know that you and the useless poster are on the same Igbo-hating page... I guess being duuummb is one criterion for being a bMC thug.
helinues: That statistics must be from IBS ( Ipobs Bureau of Statistics?
It seems your own BMC payments is based on writing on Igbo people.. Poverty is a disease... Imagine, all this stress for 40 euros monthly... kaikai! e no go better for poverty. Imagine me doing this work for 40 euros monthly? I will rather hang myself on a tree.
AdakaBoro8: yes. eni benawei. it is big disgraced for Ijaws to stoop so low to marry ibos.. a slave cannot be equal to master in a society, so Ijaw cant be mixed up with ibos in a name of marriage.
Guy go back to school... Your grammar is atrocious, try Queen premier. Go and be satisfied with your 6 and half LGAs.
PHijo: It is an insult to Ijaw people for their blood to mix up with that of the bush people, Igbo.
Do you expect Ijaw people to show the most prolific slave trader their city-states?
Stupidity is an Igbo virtue.
Oga go and sleep in your mosquito-infested Bayelsa creeks... You have been drowned with evidence. Next time, choose your battles with your fellow 6 and half LGA minorities.
PHijo: King Ateke Tom was crowned as an Ijaw king. He has never disputed that. Right under our very nose you are trying to twist current events, a quick google search will answer your confusion.
Which kind Ijaw King.. Even Ateke Tom flooded his coronation with Igbo kings and celebrities to acknowledge part of his DNA
Here, he invites only Igbo musicians to celebrate with him... Here is Flavour Nabania.
afonjaheadhunts: Take it easy on that fellow his brain was flooded in one of the child drowning ceremony a tragedy he will live with for a life time, take it easy. O gbara aka.
No wonder! I even pity him now. His brain reformatted back to the default state of his ancestors.
PHijo: People are talking before the 15th century and you are talking about the 19th century! Does that make sense?
As of 1840 Bonny and Kalabari had kings for 100s of years. The Perekule dynasty was not the first dynasty in Bonny. Neither was it an Igbo dynasty. We have had several Perekule monarchs before the amayanabo you mentioned in your bid to distort history. Kingdoms like Kalabari and Nembe were even much older than Bonny. Coupled with that there were several monarchs before Perekule.
Bring historical records, you are sinking yourself more. Captain John Barbot in 1699 on his visit to New Calabar had it on record that New Calabar was a desolate place, the inhabitants had to depend on the Heebaus (Igbos) for survival and that the Igbos actually was the life wire of the people... It was on record that the original people there were "unintelligent thieving savages" who would sacrifice all they have in exchange for old sailors rags... @Afonjaheadhunts, I am not even joking... These guys still need to visit Aro every 3 months for pilgrimage.... If not that their DNA was modified with that of the Igbos, I would not want to imagine what would become of these guys.
Nwanyiogwashi: See finishing the only thing stopping Igbo from taking bonny and opobo is still one Nigeria any day Nigeria break up bonny and opobo will be going with igbos ,ijaw can't win the case even on international court because the evidences are there Nigeria loose bakassi because of evidence and colonial masters record.
Nne! The written history bears all the truths, it is just that the we have not had the time to mine the endless evidence right there in history books.. In fact, it is easy work. This particular ´next author even mentioned the population in 1841.. There were a very few people from Brass (In this book, the Brass were considered at least better than the others they called Ejo who were termed as savages and considered to have Igbo influences themselves)
The author clearly stated that the Igbos were superior in everything.
It is Nigeria that held us so back because even another author made a case for a separate Igbo country in 1860s because he considered Igbos to be the smartest in the whole of West-Africa
afonjaheadhunts: I am not Ijaw but I am ashamed for them, seriously, like you said they cannot narrate one historical event to support their expansionist agenda. That is because their history revolves around the great Igbo nation and if they tried to narrate their history they would end up telling us of the great Igbo people that brought civilization and kingship to Ijaws. Sad but true.
Like I said earlier if I was Ijaw from Bonny Or Opobo and I came across this thread I would drop the Ijaw Identity, these fools defending Ijaws are really embarrassing.
They have no single evidence. It is clear.... Bonny was clearly an Igbo Island, here is the proof. Here it was exclusively stated that Bonny people are Igbos.
PHijo: How can people who never had king take kingship to others? You never wore clothes until Okrika Ijaws clothed you Igbos.
Oga! It is well documented that you savages were introduced to civilisation through the Igbos kings... King Pepple in the 1840s-1850 himself mentioned this. New Kalabar here is known as Kalabari. The Kalabari royals are Igbos... and they extended this to Brass. @Afonjaheadhunts, here is the proof fir these swamp dwellers.
PHijo: None of them said they are Ijaws. More so we won't let history revisionist like you ply your trade.
The Igbo villages like Ngwa were mentioned clearly and the non-Igbo locations were also stated.
@afonjaheadhunts, please, tell me this guy is pretending to be duuuumb... Please, just tell me.... I did not know it was this bad. I even showed him the statement right before it... I mean tell me it cannot be his bad.
afonjaheadhunts: It will still be around 800k or less don't forget the numbers that drown during their numerous fishing exploits.
That is a considerable number, a omitted that very significant population... You see that these guys are unintelligent. Have you noticed that these guys cannot even muster one historical evidence to even help their land-grabbing mission?
PHijo: This why we say you are cultural thieves! Nigeria tolerated your nonsense. Ijaw people will keep on exposing you.
The post CLEAR! The Ndoki call themselves Ndoki while the Igbos called the Ndoki Okwa.
You are obviously trying to be clever by half, This is the introductory statement preceding the Ndoki explanation... Each sub-groups or districts have a name for their own people...
If I use your logic, Nembe and Brass explicitly stated that they are not Ijaw... Kalabari was called Bom by the Ejo, and Okirikas had a different name for themselves.
afonjaheadhunts: Your stupidity is resounding.. you need to be applauded. Goodness, You are one dumb irredeemable slowpoke,
Let me help you again, A general Igbo classification was not use to classify distinct Igbo groups if they did how would you know which Igbo group was been discussed olodo, All Igbo groups were classified under their independent Identity eg Aro, Ubani, Abo, Ndoki, Onicha, Isuma, Ngwa, Elugu etc. For Independent identification. Same applies to Yoruba and other larger ethnic nations. I don't expect a tribe of 800k to understand this.
I mean the increasing number of whoring teenagers raped by their drunk fathers increased the population by 806k last year...but of course, it is still a small number so they will not understand.
PHijo: Not what you posted! What posted stated clearly that the Ndoki called themselves Ndoki while you Igbos called Okwa. Swallow your pride and tell somebody to translate it to your local Igbo dialect.
If I choose to, you will have a lot to say. Ask your fellow Igbos to translate on your behalf.
Mr. man, I cannot help your ignorance, It states the Igbo of the interior. Ndoki were classified as the Igbos of the coast. I have the whole book. So, you skipped the others and only focused on Ndoki... Non-land having creek dwellers.
PHijo: This thing you posted tells you clearly the the Ndoki are not Igbo. They call themselves Ndoki while you Igbos called them Okwa.
It also said Ngwa had no access to any river, creek or other forms of water bodies. The Ngwa had to dig wells to get water. When tell you Igbos that you live on the territory of other ethnic groups you act as if we don't know what we are saying.
I will leave you to keep on exposing yourselves, confused culture thieves.
Are you reeetarrrdddeedd . I told you clearly that the page was referring to all the Igbo people in the region... The page is talking about Igbo dialects and Igbo clans. Igbos from different regions have a different name for each clan... Umuahia people are called Ohuhu instead of Umuahia, Arochukwu people are called, Enru by Bende people, while others called Bende people. "Ogobendi".
Northern Igbos calls Ndoki people Okwas, meaning, "titled Igbos" or "great Igbos"... That is the translation.
afonjaheadhunts: Very true, i was glad I visited the thread you referred me too I don't know why it has not hit front page yet. As for Ijaw serial losers I have them under wraps.
Don't worry about fishermen tribe by the time I am done with them they will pick either NRI or Aro to be going for thanksgiving every Eke market day.
Even the Bonny, I am keeping the info for a better thread...before these creek drunks come and pollute it..
Well, to seal the final nail, you can find where Ndoki was mentioned as being together with Ngwa in 1840. Here is another account
afonjaheadhunts: It is not about what you Accept, it is about what you are. See how the Europeans caputred Ijaws (Quaws). In the bolded quote below
Besides the Eboes and Breches, we received at Bonny negroes of several other nations, named Quaws, Appas, Ottaras, and Brasses. The Quaws, (or Moscoes of the West Indies) are an ill-disposed people, whom the Eboes regard with great aversion, as they consider them cannibals in their own coun- try ; an assumption which their desperate and fero- cious looks would seem to warrant. Their skins are blacker than those of the Eboes, and their teeth are sharpened with files, so as to resemble those of a saw. These men were ever the foremost in any mischief or insurrection amongst the slaves, and from time to lime many whites fell victims to their fury at Bonny. They are mortal enemies to the Eboes, of whom, such is their masculine superiority, and desperate courage, they would beat three times their own number. The slave ships were always obliged to provide separate rooms for these men be- tween decks, and the captains were careful to have as few of them as possible amongst their cargoes. The females of this tribe are fully as ferocious and vindictive as the men.
From the post highlighted above it an open secret that Ijaws have always envied the Igbo people and when ever their foolishness pushed them to challenge the Igbos the were Soundly defeated, infact it went on to say Igbos were 3times stronger than Ijaw Dwafts.
Dear fisherman nothing has changed shouting on NL will not help you Igbo's are Ijaw god's dead or Alive. Pick any SS Igbo Ijaws can stand in Rivers state or Delta in today's Nigerian context, the answer is None.
Do not mind them, It is on records that they came all the way from Bayelsa to come and bow to the Igbos at Arochukwu... They worshipped the Igbos in order to receive knowledge and civilisation.
Here is an account by Europeans in 1841 where Ijaws came from Bayelsa to get some civilisation from the Igbos in Arochukwu. It is all in the records for all to see.
afonjaheadhunts: Wow this is lovely, you could make a compilation of this and more let's see if it hits FP. The truth is this is still a reflection of our people today, that is to show you the Europeans were sincere in their literature of African groups. Good job I love that.
There are many... I opened a thread but had difficulties uploading all, as some elements went all out to ban me when I upload pages showing some real histories.
The day before yesterday, I uploaded one account of a side by side comparison showing the superiority of Igbos in the South and what the explorers of old thought, I was banned again and the post brought down. They don't like to see the truth.
You can explore what is left of the thread I opened. "The Empire of the Igbos, Heebaus, Egboes" based on the accounts of books from the 1670s to around mid-1800s.
afonjaheadhunts: By the time I am done with your fishermen tribe when Una see Naira sign una heart go skip beat not to talk of seeing land join am, you go jump enter water.
What I am trying to say is when i am done with Ijaw miscreants fish go better pass Una. Una never chi chum chin.
During the same era in the 1820s and 1830s, this is another record of Igbos in comparison with their neighbours.. Take it easy on the creek drunks.
afonjaheadhunts: I will consider your plea, however I believe they have learnt a bitter lesson on this thread. the Europeans knew better and could only find them useful as slaves, from the Account of the Europeans Ijaws must have been really ugly savages, one cannot begin to imagine. Gosh just the thought of how ugly they were is even scarry.
You are a good man for pleading on behalf of these fishermen.
Yeah! If you were described as a savage, that would really hurt your future.. Even till today, their homeland where they occupy 6 of the 8 LGAs are still bit backward oil polluted slums..
Look at the lamentations of one of their sons.
Mr Keniebi Okoko, an entrepreneur in the oil and gas sector, has identified poor mental disposition of many people in Bayelsa State as the cause of poverty in the midst of plenty.
Okoko, who spoke in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on yesterday in Yenagoa, said that poverty of the mind is worse than material poverty.
He said that it was ironical that whilst the state was endowed with abundant natural resources, the people had not been exposed to the right kind of education to develop their mental abilities.
“Well, I believe that Bayelsa as a whole needs to focus on education.
“Mental poverty is worse than financial poverty. If a mind is not developed and equipped, a man cannot give what he does not have.
“Our people are not completely exposed to good education systems.
“Our people are not well travelled like other tribes, if you look at our rich natural endowments, you wonder why we cannot harness and turn it to wealth.
