Christianity EtcAre You A Child Of God? by Ekestar(op): 2:15pm On Jul 17, 2016
Happy Sunday.
I want us to read and examine ourselves as to our relationship with God, be thou blessed as you read.

When we come into any family, we always notice the resemblance between the parents and their children, it is this resemblance that tells us immediately that a relationship exist. Father son/daughter relationship.

God as we all know is a righteous King, Judge, Father, Lord. In him is no iniquity or darkness (1 John 1:7)

Who then is a child of God? A child of God is one who lives a Godly live. This person does not live in sin, commit fornication or adultery, hate people, harbour malice etc. "Whosoever is born of God, do not commit sin, for His seed remaineth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God" (1John 3:9) Does this mean that for a person to qualify to be called a child of God, he/she must be perfect? No. but God want you to continue working towards perfection. God commanded us to be perfect just as Him is perfect. It therefore means that this righteous work is continuous.

What then qualifies one to be called a child of God? Confess your sins before God, ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. (1John 1:8-10)(2Cor 5:17). And also make up your mind to start working in obedience to the word of God.

Why Confess in Jesus name? Neither is there salvation in any other: for there noon other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Act 4:12). Jesus Christ is the messiah and saviour of the world (John 3:16). It is only through him that salvation can be obtained. Access to God the father and forgiveness of sins is only possible through the blood of Jesus Christ (John 14:6)
If your still in doubt as the possibility that Jesus is the only way to God, especially those who are not born in Christian homes and may not believe. Please kindly ask God to reveal this truth to you.

If your a Christian and you are still living in sin, kindly repent today, stop deceiving yourself and so that your soul will not be condemned.

– Kanu wants $800 million as compensation
from the government
– He says his group is duly registered
– He narrates how he was treated at DSS
detention
Just as photographs of a Biafran representative
spotted at a United Nations conference in the
United States made their way into the media,
Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB) has insinuated that the
Biafran territory is recognised in 30 countries of
the world.
A Biafran representative at the United Nations
conference in the US
It is believed that such international recognition
is necessary for the independence of the area
currently located in the south-eastern part of
Nigeria even though IPOB believes the region
being sought for also covers the south-southern
part of the country.
Kanu, according to Breaking Times, is asking the
Community Court of Justice of the Economic
Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to
force the Nigerian government to pay him $800
million as compensation for the gross violation of
his human rights.
Kanu had been in detention since October 14,
2015 and all efforts to get him to enjoy bail have
been rebuffed by the government.

Kanu said IPOB has representation in 30
countries where it is registered and that the

certified by the registrar of companies for
England and Wales.

As revealed by the documents Kanu filed before
the court, IPOB is registered under the United
Kingdom Companies Act 2006 and has a
certificate with registration number 9141882.
He said he was arrested on a visit to his parents
and his heavily-pregnant wife who was to give
birth through caesarean operation in the UK.

To emphasise the alleged inhuman treatment
meted out on him, he said his legs and hands
were chained by operatives of the Department of
State Services (DSS) in detention.
According to him, this is the worst
dehumanisation, degrading treatment and torture
he has ever experienced.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had said
the Biafra land is beyond areas occupied by the
Igbo-speaking people of the country
, a report aid weeks ago.
According to the group, aside Igbo-speaking
states, Biafra land cut across Itsekiriland on the
western boundary, Oduduwa to Bakassi on the
eastern boundary with Cameroon.
The group added that Biafra land also stretch
across from Idoma and Igala land on the
northern boundary with Arewa or Northern
Nigeria to the Bight of Biafra which is South of

Military alone can’t end insurgency – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said the use of
only military operations to tackle Boko Haram activities
in Nigeria and other violent groups across the world
cannot end insurgency.
A statement on Friday by the African Export-Import
Bank, indicated that the former president said this during
the bank’s 22nd Annual General Meeting held in Lusaka,
Zambia.
Obasanjo, speaking about conflicts in Africa, also said
the crises were caused by failure to address certain
social problems in the society such as educational
disparity.
Afrixembank’s spokesman, Obi Emekekwue quoted
Obasanjo in the statement thus, “He proposed a carrot
and stick solution to the conflicts on the continent
through an approach involving military solutions and
social development since a purely military approach
would not work.
“According to Obasanjo, a situation, such as in Nigeria,
where one section had an educational attainment level
of 79 per cent while another had only 19 per cent,
created room for conflict.”
The former president also called on Nigeria and other
African countries to pursue economic integration on the
basis of regional economic communities rather than
doing so with the over 54 countries on the continent.
He noted that by pursuing economic growth, each region
of the continent would serve as platforms to strengthen
Africa.
In a wide-ranging discussion, the ex-president stressed
the importance of infrastructure in promoting intra-
African trade and called for the establishment of a viable
well-run coastal shipping line from Dakar in Senegal to
Maputo in Mozambique to improve intra-African trade.
Obasanjo stated further that while Nigeria and other
nations on the continent should encourage the local
production of goods, they should also encourage and
develop the process of moving those goods.
The statement added, “Former President Obasanjo
added that Africa should start adding value to its
commodities rather than exporting raw commodities
only for those commodities to be sent back to the
continent as finished goods.”
Meanwhile, the Afreximbank on Saturday announced the
appointment of Benedict Oramah as its new boss.
Oramah’s appointment was one of the key decisions
taken during the bank’s AGM.
“Dr. Oramah takes over from Jean-Louis Ekra, who has
been the bank’s chief executive officer since 2005.
Oramah, a Nigerian national, has served as Executive
Vice President in charge of Business Development and
Corporate Banking at Afreximbank since 2008. He was a
pioneer staff of the bank, which he joined in 1994 as
Chief Analyst, rising to the position of Senior Director,
Planning and Business Development Department in
2007. He previously served as Assistant Manager
(Research) at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank from
1992 to 1994,” the statement said.

Yes. The easiest way to change Gods will in your life is by disobeying him. The bible said that Gods will is for us to prosper and live heavenly life on earth. Until you start living like son of light on earth the will of God is not going to manifest in your life. But just know that God is ready to bring his will to manifestation in your life only when you start living a born again life, he does not force his will on you. His will is the best but you must realize it and ask for it to manifest if not the enemy 'Satan' will never allow this will to manifest. This is the reason many people have received prophesy that they will be great but most of them died poor. Until you fight back to posses your possession the kingdom of darkness will be an obstacle. This is the reason why the bible said that since the day of john the baptist the kingdom of God suffereth violent and only the violent taketh it by force.

PoliticsLagos Is Not A ‘no Man’s Land’ But… by Ekestar(op): 1:48pm On Apr 21, 2015
Lagos is not a ‘No man’s land’ but…

Azuka Onwuka
One statement that riles the Yoruba is that Lagos is a no man’s land, which comes mainly from the Igbo residents in the city. The impression that statement gives them is that Lagos is a land that nobody owns. They see it as an attempt to take away what belongs to them. According to Oxford Dictionaries, “no man’s land” means “disputed ground between the front lines or trenches of two opposing armies” or “a piece of unowned land or wasteland.”

But Lagos State is someone’s land. Without going into the history of Lagos, one knows that there are traditional institutions and rites in Lagos that only the “sons of the soil” can participate in. For example, Lagos communities have traditional rulers called baale or oba: only sons of the soil of the respective communities can aspire to such positions.

However, that is not the end of the story. Lagos is a unique state, especially given its status as a former federal capital of Nigeria cum seat of government for 77 years: January 1914 to November 1991. That status has given it a different feel from all other cities in Nigeria. It is not because it is by the sea: Calabar and Port Harcourt are also by the sea, but they are not like Lagos. Contrary to the fallacy spread by some people, Calabar was never the capital of Nigeria. Calabar once served as the seat of government of the Niger Coast Protectorate, Southern Protectorate and Oil River Protectorate. Similarly, neither Lokoja nor Zungeru was ever the capital of Nigeria. They were respectively the capital of the British protectorate of Northern Nigeria.

The boom that Abuja has experienced since 1991 when Gen. Ibrahim Babangida moved the seat of government from Lagos is a pointer to the effect the Federal Capital Territory status can have on a city. But even Abuja cannot compare with Lagos because it was purpose-built to be an FCT, and therefore has no space for industrial estates and markets in all nooks and crannies of the city like Lagos.

However, even those who call Lagos no man’s land don’t mean that Lagos does not indigenously belong to anybody. When you ask them what “no man’s land” means, you realise that what they mean is that Lagos is home to every Nigerian. It is a mini Nigeria. It is a place where all Nigerians feel they have a stake in because the funds of Nigeria helped in developing it, and its status as an FCT attracted more attention from Nigerians and foreigners than other states. Consequently, it is the most developed part of the nation.

Even though Enugu, Ibadan and Kaduna were the respective capitals of Eastern Region, Western Region, and Northern Region from the pre-Independence days until 1967, they cannot compare to Lagos in any sphere.

No doubt, as a city that is situated by the sea shore, Lagos has been developing from time immemorial. However, when it was made the capital of Nigeria, its development accelerated. The boost was such that even after the seat of government was relocated to Abuja, Lagos did not feel the impact much because the biggest companies and markets in Nigeria as well as infrastructure like bridges and roads had already been established, which had in turn made the state the most densely populated in the nation. These are not things you can relocate with the seat of government.

And more importantly, Lagos has not been known to be a place where religious or ethnic crises occur. There can be crisis from street urchins, or motor park touts, or street gangs, but people are not usually attacked based on their ethnicity or religion, except for the ill-informed actions of the O’odua People’s Congress against the Hausa community in 1999/2000.

Lagos State is in the South-West, and the South-West is the land of the Yoruba. Therefore, Lagos is Yoruba land. But it goes beyond that. Lagos derives its progress from its metropolitan and cosmopolitan nature. There are Nigerians who will tell you that beside their home state, they can only live in Abuja or Lagos, because of the FCT status, past and present. They don’t want to be in a place where they would feel like second-class citizens or people who are ever conscious of going against any local tradition.

However, there are two sets of people that don’t mean well for Lagos. One group is the Yoruba who feel that the non-Yoruba in Lagos, especially the Igbo, must owe the air they breathe to the Yoruba: they must not raise their head; they must not laugh loud; they must not criticise any government policy in Lagos; they must not vote for any candidate of their choice; they must not contest elections in Lagos. If they default on any of these, they are threatened with expulsion or violence.

The other group is the Igbo who tell the Yoruba that the Igbo developed Lagos, and that without the Igbo, Lagos would be a ghost town, and Lagosians would die of hunger. That is a silly statement to make. Although only a lover of falsehood would say that the Igbo have not contributed handsomely to the development of Lagos, yet Lagos has been developing at its own pace from time immemorial. If the Igbo did not settle in Lagos or invest in it, it would have continued to develop at its own pace. Lagos does not owe its success to the Igbo or any one ethnic group.

The excuse these two dangerous groups always give is that the other group started the ethnic baiting. But that is a lie. An ethnic supremacist is an ethnic supremacist. The same goes for an ethnic intolerant person or a bigot. Such people don’t need any provocation to unleash the venom in them. They only pray for an opportunity to present itself. Phrases like “you people” dot their speeches. Whenever a person speaks, they usually don’t attack the person’s speech: they swiftly malign the person’s ethnic group. It does not matter to them that the person does not speak on behalf of any ethnic group. Sometimes, they will be quick to tell you that they don’t hate the ethnic group they are bashing but “are simply speaking the truth.” They may even remind you that they have friends from that ethnic group or have family members who are married to people from that ethnic group.

These dangerous elements must not be allowed to destroy the peace and harmony in Lagos. There is a difference between “citizen” and “indigene”. Every Nigerian is a citizen in every part of Nigeria. But not every Nigerian is an indigene of wherever he or she resides. Every Nigerian can vote and be voted anywhere in Nigeria. That is what distinguishes a Nigerian from a Ghanaian who lives in Nigeria.

Nigerians feel happy any time they hear that a person with Nigerian ancestry has won a political position in Europe or North America, but some ethnic haters feel angry whenever they hear that a Nigerian has won an election in his or her state of residence. Their narrow argument is: “Can you allow that to happen in your state?” But comparing a state like Lagos – a former FCT — with another Nigerian state is baseless. Lagos can only somewhat be compared with Abuja, the FCT. If you want to compare states, compare Oyo with Enugu, Ogun with Anambra, Ekiti with Ebonyi, etc.

Secondly, when a people have a large population in a community, it becomes easier for them to win local elections there. That is why the Yoruba win local elections in the London Borough of Southwark, United Kingdom, where Peckam is located. If a large number of the Yoruba or Hausa or Ijaw settle in Nnewi or Aba, they can win elections there. It is only natural.

And when a “non-indigene” wins an election, such should not be seen as a threat or an affront. It is actually a blessing. Such cities where settlers participate in governance are always ahead in all developmental indices. They attract people. They attract investors. They continue to grow faster. That is why Lagos is miles ahead of other states. That is why Lagos is self-sustaining even though it has no oil. Human resource is the greatest resource on earth. Human beings gather where the conditions are good, where they are not continuously threatened or intimidated, where they are free to operate within the laws of the state and the nation.

Those who love Lagos and want its progress must not allow those who are short-sighted to disrupt the peace and progress of Lagos.

For him to say that he will stabilize the oil price if elected the president of Nigeria shows how little his knowledge of how far the economic policies of a country can go. The only good thing we all have heard about GMB is that he fought corruption and jailed corrupt people. But in actual truth of the matter, the strategy he used in his war against indiscipline & corruption is harsh and counter productive. If strong institutions were built, by now Nigeria would not be battling with corruption. Since the inception of this administration, reforms has be on going in the various sectors. I believe that giving Mr. president a second chance will be the most beautiful thing to do by Nigerians. #GEJ4naija

It's no longer news that GEJ will be reelected.

Nobody wants Buhari in power, not even those campaigning for him.

They just want a share of the money that Amechi and Tinibu are distributing. grin

On Election Day, GEJ will win a land slide victory. grin

PoliticsBuhari Is Not The Messiah By Prophet Chukwuma by Ekestar(op): 10:21am On Jan 17, 2015
Jonathan won’t record easy victory – Prophet Chukwuma

By Our Reporter on January 16, 2015 Editorial
• Says Buhari was dragged into race by selfish elements
By CHUKS EZE, fazec1@yahoo.com
The founder and General Overseer of Christ Foundation Miracle International Chapel, Lagos, Prophet Josiah Chukwuma Onuoha, is worried about the present state of the Nigerian nation. According to him, the Lord revealed to him a lot of things about the country, especially as regards the forthcoming general elections and why Nigeria may never know peace unless the blood of many innocent Nigerians whose lives were carelessly cut short are purged and atoned. The Prophet, who has past records of accurate predictions, also spoke on other issues.
You are known for always speaking out fearlessly on the state of the Nigerian nation in the past. As the general elections draw closer, how do you see Nigeria during and after the elections?
I have been praying because we do not have any other country than the one God has graciously given us. And God has been revealing so many things to me. But the problem is that I do not know why our president has refused to seek God. I have been shouting and urging him to seek God. Even in my last interview with The Sun and other newspapers, but unfortunately, he seems to have turned deaf ears.
Does that have any implication on the president or the country?
Are you not witnessing all that is happening? I am not out to cause panic but I see a time when this country will be too big for him to control; and I see a strange government in the offing as a result of his inability to manage the crisis. That is what the Lord has shown me. I also saw dozens of alien helpers, secretly infiltrating the country at the instance of his opponents and some of the president’s confidants are involved in the deal. And the Lord says that they are Arabs commissioned to target especially Abuja and Lagos. What I’m saying is that from what I saw, it is only God that can save Nigeria because most of those aliens are already in the country, with most of their weapons already safely in the country. There are liars, deceivers and many selfish people around the president, who shield him from the reality of the time; and there are many occult people, some in prophetic garment, who are deceiving him and giving him hope that nothing will happen. They refuse to tell him that the grace of God, which was all over him when he assumed office, has departed from him. He should seek God fast for help and to refill him with His grace and give him another chance.
Are you saying that except the president seeks the face of God, according to your dictates, he will not win the 2015 election?
That is not the point. It must not be me. There are many known genuine men of God in this country. All that is required is seeking God sincerely with repentant heart and atonement. Let him depart from occult men in prophetic garments. He knows what I’m talking about. Let me tell you: many great kings and rulers in the Bible disguised themselves at difficult times, left their throne and went to seek for help. That is how you know a good king. You don’t guard the throne by clinging to it and believing that all is well. He should leave the throne and look for faithful and sincere men of God, who will help him to purge the blood of the innocent Nigerians that have been wasted on our land. Their blood is crying and unless they are purged and atoned, no president will perform well in Nigeria. If nothing is done, Jonathan may eventually win, though but winning the election is not the issue. The issue is remaining on the seat. If you win by the grace, you victory will be protected by the grace. But if you win by human power, anything can happen. As things stand now spiritually, Jonathan can’t win the presidential election honestly. He can only win by human power and not God’s power. And when he wins, he will as well fall via human power because most of the people around him are moles and pretenders planted by his enemies. But I say it again: let the President seek God. Let him do that fast otherwise, there will be great regrets. The only way out is God.
It was rumoured that you urged the president not to step aside at the death of his former boss, President Yar’Adua. If that is true, what is your impression bout his government now?
I will not deny that because in the heat of the tension that followed President Yar’Adua’s deah, they called me from the State House and informed me that President Jonathan wanted to resign. But after consulting God over it, I saw that God had ordained him to become the best Nigerian president ever. The grace of God was greatly upon him then and he had people’s goodwill too. I did not speak to him directly at that time but informed his aids that the Lord had revealed that he would be invited to a high-powered stakeholders meeting where they may try to compel Jonathan to commit himself; and that God had warned that he should not make any promise he would not be able to fulfill otherwise, he would cause monumental problem for himself. But he went there and forgot the divine warning. The effect of that meeting is the root of what the president and Nigeria are suffering today. I will not state the details but like I said, he was influenced to do the will of man and jettison the will of God. And the effect is now like a scare that will remain with him forever.
A number of recent prophecies predicted victory for him at the polls. Do you have any negative views?
I do not care about the fortune-tellers, who deceive him that he is coasting home to victory and I will not comment on the Prophecies you are referring to. But my advice to Nigerians, especially those living in Lagos and Abuja, is that they should start making savings, while stepping up intercessory prayers for God’s intervention. I once told the president, in an interview with The Sun, that God had destined him to become the best president of Nigeria. And I warned him to beware because some elements had sworn to make him the worst Nigerian president. He forgot all that and allowed them to lure him into what he had sworn never to join. He got involved and the grace departed him. The President should leave occult people and evil deceivers and run back to God before it is too late. God can still give him one more chance. All the grace and favour he had from God have departed him and that is why many people are disappointed and speaking against him. He should not think that all those speaking against him are agents of the opposition.
You said that Jonathan cannot win the next presidential election by God’s power. Are you implying that General Buhari will win the election?
The thing is that Buhari’s case will even be worse. Buhari has no grace to rule this country again. He is being pushed into it by selfish, diabolic elements. Let him go and seek God the way true Moslems do. I’m sure that some Alfa have advised him against his current ambition. So, if a man with grace can be destabilised in a reckless manner, what will happen to the one without any grace? But the issue is not even about who will win the election but about who will free Nigeria from the wrath of God. Many innocent people have been carelessly killed and their blood is crying. I have cried out over this issue many times and nothing was done about, rather, more are still being killed. Human blood is not water but spirit and life. Any land that is filled with wasted blood never knows peace. Let our leaders tell themselves the truth. Jonathan started as a God-fearing man but he later left God along the line. He knows when that happened and he knows the agreement he had with God. He must go back to that divine agreement without fear of any man. When I look at all the candidates and their sponsors, I laugh because they are ignorant of what is happening in the spirit. But I warn them to beware. If they are not careful their money will go down the drain. They should all seek God otherwise, what is going to happen will shock many of them. I saw a multitude of souls crying and wailing. And I heard them chorusing something like, ‘They shall know no peace’. So, unless the needful is done first, no President will be able to fight corruption – Jonathan, Buhari or whoever – because Nigeria’s problem requires divine solution and not human efforts.
You earlier spoke about alien help. What is it about?
Their name was written in Arabic but I will not disclose what I was given as its interpretation. But they are specially trained to strike once obvious signs emerge that a particular candidate will lose the presidential election. It will start like small crisis at a polling booth and escalate into bomb explosions soon-after. Like I said earlier, there are many things God revealed to me which I do not want to reveal for two reasons – to avoid sounding partisan and to avoid causing panic. But the truth is that there are so many things that are not being done well. Some powerful clicks have sworn to ensure that Jonathan does not continue. But they do not know that Buhari’s case will be worse if he wins.
Even with a senior pastor as Buhari’s running mate, he can’t garner enough grace?
Did the pastor seek God or was he just drafted by selfish elements to run? Was it God that asked him to run for the Vice Presidency? Did God ask him to deputize somebody? Is it his call? Those are pertinent questions yearning for answers. A man of God hears from God and obeys God’s instructions, not human dictates. Men of God are meant to correct errors and not to make errors. That’s all I can say. And you should note that title or name is meaningless in the presence of God. What matters is the relationship between you and God.
What is the way out after all?
They should shelve the election and seek the face of God first. Let the land be cleansed before the election.
But that will run against the constitution…?
Man makes law and man changes law. He is the president. No matter what the laws say, a good leader should go extra mile to bring peace to the land. All is needed is to bring all leaders to the table of discussion. Otherwise, what if they insist on following the constitution and at the end of the day, they all fail to make it? They have food but lack the fire to cook. Let them look for fire. My advice to politicians and their sponsors is that they should seek God before investing their money in politics. As things stand now, it is 40 per cent success and 60 per cent failure. And if the president and politicians insist on carrying on the way things are, then Nigerians should start saving seriously for the rainy day because June 12 (1992) may be more pleasant to what I have been shown. During June 12, we did not hire foreign fighters. But as we speak, hired alien men are already on ground to target especially Lagos and Abuja; with Kano airport as their entry point.
