JASONjnr:
Tinubu or Atiku can never win any credible online poll as it stands .....

And even on ballot box with the electronic capturing, Peter Obi will be victorious in many pollin units.....

The people will vote Peter Obi for president.....

Many polls are done physically at community level.
If they wanted a poll so badly they should have used a real organisation

Is fake now because it didn't put obi as the winner

Fake because the organisation doesn't exist and has no legitimacy to carry out a national poll. None of the Organisations that predicted Obi to win were fake.

If they were desperate enough to have a poll use a real organisation as basic minimum standard

How did the supreme court "insert" itself? Are you sure you even know what you are talking about?

Did the supreme court give an order or not?

Are the parties in the suit obligated to obey that order?

Again my response was on the governor's.

Politics / Fake Organisation Created A Fake Poll To Claim A Victory For Tinubu by Eketem: 5:42am On Feb 17, 2023
Intimidated by the prediction of Obi to win the Presidency, a fake Organisation called Nigerian Human Rights Community supposedly posted a poll where they predicted a win for The APC candidate.

A CAC search shows that the said organization cannot be found.

To operate as a legal entity and have credibility to organize such a national event, an organization claiming to be a Nigerian organisation must be registered.

The APC had before now organised fake Bishop's to endorse their candidates, have consistently given out fake information and it's key Presidential council officials shared fake information. It is no surprise that they have now resorted to fake polling seeing how their " He can't win" strategy is falling to it's face.

With all the money they spend they couldn't get a real organisation to create a fake poll for them.

The supreme court gave an order that all naira notes should remain legal tender pending the February 20 when it will hear the case. So the governors are acting within the ambit of the law

The supreme court should not have inserted itself.

My response was to the question of the Governor's giving same executive orders on currency.

The supreme court I will not debate further.

An opinion poll conducted by the Nigerian Human Rights Community (NHRC) has revealed that the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu holds a magnificent lead and is on course to win the 2023 general elections.

Taiwo Adeleye, Secretary-General of NHRC, a coalition of 134 civil liberty and community-based organisation while addressing newsmen in Lagos on Thursday said that the poll was conducted in collaboration with several consultants ahead of the presidential election scheduled for February 25.

He stated that the poll took the researchers six months to conduct, the results of which were compiled and analysed by experts.

Adeleye noted that the aim of the poll is to determine the fears and aspirations of voters across party lines towards the 2023 general election.

He stated further that the data collection and analysis focused on registered party members with PVC, which comprises men, women, youths and people living with disabilities.

“To get the truest reflection of the people’s opinions, Digital reasoning was professional and objective in conducting this exercise. Respondent were selected from each of the 36 states including the FCT.

“A total of 19,365 questionnaires were administered in all the LGAs of the federation.”

Speaking further he said out of the 19,365 respondents interviewed, 7940 (41%) are voting for the candidate of the APC while others prefer PDP, 5035 (26%); LP, 4067 (21%) and NNPP, 1743 (9%) and that the other parties candidates collectively got 1162 (6%) of the respondents.

Fake organisation, why did I day it is fake? Because no name can be registered with same acronym with the National Human Rights Commission. I stand corrected. Let me even search for their CAC status.

Thanks.

Noted..

(Thus, for State Governors in their various states,, similar addresses have overriding state executive powers over the Judiciary too,, I guess??)

There are things that are on the executive list meaning only the Federal Government can make decisions on them, monetary policy is one of them. State governors have no power to declare and decide currency but I guess many of them are waiting for the case to be deicided in the supreme court, the matter should not have been entertained.

Tinubu Gave Me N2 Million When My Wife Was Kidnapped — Chukwuemeka Ezeife Reveals

Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former Governor of Anambra State, has revealed the close relationship that exists between himself and the presidential candidate of the All progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during an interview earlier today, Ezeife described Tinubu as a friend and when his wife got kidnapped, Tinubu was the only person who gave him money, amounting to the sum of two million naira.

He stated that based on their history, he clearly doesn’t have anything personal against him but regarding his presidential ambition, Ezeife stated that he won’t be supporting him even though they clearly share a history together.

He said: “Tinubu, let me tell you, he is my friend. Tinubu was the only human being who gave me money, two million naira, when my wife was kidnapped. So, if I say something about Tinubu and somebody is making noise, it is ignorance. But, right now, if Tinubu wants to become president. If you ask me, I would say, my brother, don’t waste your time.”

I need to know so I can go back to him with facts praying he would agree this time.

He is very intelligent and very experienced with resources at his disposal. He is the best recruiter of the best brains to help recover Nigeria. Vote for him and see prosperity return to Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Full Text Of The Supreme Court Judgement On Lawan Vs Machina by Eketem: 2:39pm On Feb 14, 2023
ojoadeola:
To the court

- Machina accused APC of forgery and it must be proved, but he failed to prove it
- The election of Bashir Sheriff, Alhaji Bashir Sheriff, Bashir Sheriff Machina, and Bashir Sherrif were not one and the same. There is a need to confirm which of the Bashirs was nominated and elected.
- The election held on May 28 2022 was not for Yobe North Senatorial seat but for ZONE C, which was not known to law. So, Bashir Sheriff Machina or any other person nominated at that election cannot claim to be nominated for Yobe North Senatorial Seat
- The election held on 9 June 2022, though not observed by INEC, is valid as the committee given the task had earlier given that day for a revised election for the Yobe North Senatorial election.
- All the documents purported to be submitted or alleged to be from APC for the election were unsigned and undated, including the result sheet. And in law, such unsigned and undated documents are not counted or accepted as valid documents
- Citing different cases from Nigeria to England, and to some African countries, the court stated that the preliminary court and appellate courts were wrong in not accessing both the fulcrum of the case as per forgery and others. For that, the judgements given by the lower courts were set aside and the appeal of the APC was sustained.

Actions
- Any name submitted by APC should be recognised
- Machina can still correct any errors in his name and affidavit, but time has elapsed for such matter to be reviewed by the lower courts. It is over!
- The Court did not deny Machina his mandate, but he failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the mandate belongs to him. The court will not give you a property that bears your name but you are not the rightful owner

My Take

- The Supreme Court is not to blame, as the alternate decision for a review of the cases is already time-bound and elapsed
- When pursuing a Court case, employ sound and technical savvy lawyers to help you prosecute your case
- Review the existing laws to make sure that the owner of a property is not denied his rights due to technicalities
- Where statutes or cases are time-bound, the law can give the Supreme Court the right to make a pronouncement for an extension, if necessary

Que Sera Sera

Sound review, why his Lawyers didn't do basic work is sad and shocking
