You must be a comedian. You wanted to fact check Soludo from sources he didnt cite in his article. You dont even know what NBS website looked like but you want to fact check Soludo. Comedy

Simple thing I asked from the same website share the same food poverty and per capita poverty data for Obiano you claim reduced. You keep shouting Soludo said Soludo said without actually sharing as I have done to back up my claims.

I will forgive your frustration, when one can't debate logically they throw tantrums

Please don't share a newspaper article because I have also shared one that backed up the fact that poverty under Obi was 11% but you insist on using this indicies so let us stick with it.

Show the same indicator under Obiano that Soludo was supposedly quoting

Delete your thread and go home. Soludo quote absolute poverty rates for Ngige, Obi and Obiano from NBS. Any other nonsense you are bringing up is useless to the discussion. Soludo is right.

Delete your own comments I have shared all data here, you have only been shouting Soludo Soludo and like him sharing no actual evidence to back up your false claims

Lol you are getting aggressive, calm down.
I shared all the stats to back up my point, kindly share yours, or you want to be like Soludo merely claiming without evidence, tomorrow you will make all sorts of allegations because Obi said 67 instead of 69.

Now keep quiet. Check absolute poverty.

Lol but I shared thus already and this is food poverty and poverty per capital , for which no state in Nigeria is doing well, I also shared statistics under Obiano and it was still high.

This work must be mentally too tasking and this is not NBS you were shouting and claiming to be Soludos source.

Go to NBS Website search for all their poverty statistics released so far. Soludo is correct. Provide poverty data from NBS to prove Soludo wrong

See how I easily shared my source, share Soludos own too,or when next you people are giving him work ask him to share the source link.

He can't just be shouting NBS without a link, when Obi does it you people will be crying but now Soludo says it, no traceable link and you are saying it is correct.

This is where he claims his data was from but this is food poverty and poverty per Capita, too complicated to start explaining. However you see that all states were doing badly because it is measured in living under a dollar per day.

See the same data for 2018 under same Obiano it is actually worse.

Fact check on Governor Soludo claim on this thread.
https://www.nairaland.com/7433382/soludo-under-peter-obi-poverty

Soludo claimed that Obi met poverty rates 24 % and increased it to almost 50 %, however this is the data for poverty rates in Anambra 2004- 2014 while Obi was Governor.
https://www.google.com/amp/databod.com/nigeria-poverty-rate/amp/

Anambra had the lowest poverty rates less than 12 percent only lower than Lagos state.

Where did Soludo get his data from? Can he share the source? Even if he was quoting food poverty rates, then compared to other states Anambra was average and it never came down to the level he claimed under Obiano but I recall he specifically mentioned poverty rates.

We will kill, bury many until we win 2023 elections, vows Borno APC chieftain

Mohammed Ali Gajiram is a member of the ruling APC from the Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State. As well as a politician, he is also an Islamic scholar.

ABDULRASHEED YAKUB • OCTOBER 25, 2022

Mohammed Ali Gajiram
Amember of the Borno State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress, Mohammed Ali Gajiram, says the party was willing to kill as many people as it would take for the APC to win the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the state.

The politician of Kanuri origin publicly made this threat recently, while speaking to an audience that is believed to be members of the party at an event.

Some of his followers argue that Mr Gajiram was misinterpreted, however, in the video, he was recorded saying in Kanuri: “If they dare come out, there is no one as brave as them. Let them come out, we’ll beat them blue-black with sticks. Let them come and see, even the last time they came, it was because we weren’t in town, but now we’re back, let them come and meet us. If we do not deal with them, we’re not born lawfully.”

He then ended his speech by saying that the APC must win the 2023 elections, even if they had to kill so many.

It could be understood from his utterances in the video that he was tagging some members of another political party as descendants of Boko Haram who can not be entrusted with state power.

Mr Gajiram is a member of the ruling APC from the Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State. As well as a politician, he is also an Islamic scholar

I believe the mods will act differently on this, if they could share the thread without any link to his claim of not riding private jets they will share this one where it clarifies that he uses private jets but asks for discount.

Contrary to claims by members of the opposition and ruling party made several times in error that Mr Peter Obi made claims of not riding private jets, no statement of such exist anywhere.

What however exists is a video of Mr Rabiu Isyaku brother to Owner of BUA group and owner of IRS Airlines talking about how Peter Obi is so prudent that whenever he had to travel using a private jet he would demand a discount from him.

Here is the video.

Politics / Re: Oshiomhole Attacks Peter Obi In A Viral Video Says Obi Can't Fix Insecurity by Eketem: 9:44pm On Sep 18, 2022
Betanaija42moro:

Oshomole is talking nonsense ooo

Obi stopped Bakasi in Anambra state, infact even Ngige did not use Bakasi.
Bakasi ended with Mbadinuju's tenure.

Before Obi's tenure bank robbery was every where, but Obi ended bank robbery in Anambra state.

Even Upper Iweka Onitsha was no go area, it was Obi that built the place and chased the agboro's away.

Obi did a lot in terms of security in Anambra state, equipped police, created AVS Anambra Vigilante Service

Oshomole is no where close to Obi in governance.

Oshimole lies most time to do politics. He lied same way against Ortom and when he was sued he begged and apologised.

If he is sued again he will remember Obi is his brother and start asking for forgiveness.

The Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has today retracted the false and baseless comments he attributed to Governor Samuel Ortom, on the 27th of July, 2018.

Olika Reporters News notes how the retraction has been published in some national newspapers today, 18th March, 2021.

He retracted: “On the 27th day of July, 2018 at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and particularly in my capacity then as the Chairman of the Party, I addressed different national issues as well as some events which occurred in Benue State, including the movement earlier that day of his Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom (Executive Governor of Benue State) from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party.

“In the course of the press conference, I made certain comments about Dr Ortom on the basis of information I have since found to be false and baseless.

“His Excellency Dr Samuel Ortom felt embarrassed, defamed and deeply aggrieved by the comments I made at the said press conference, culminating in litigation.

“That politics aside, Governor Samuel Ortom is a dear friend and brother with whom I have shared so much in common, including mutual respect.

“That as former colleagues and one time members of the Nigerian Governors’ forum and most importantly as someone whom I am just a phone call away from, any ridicule, embarrassment, spite and insult caused Dr Samuel Ortom is regretted.

“Owing to the relationship we share and in the larger interest of peace, harmony and brotherliness, I believe a complete retraction of my comments made on 27th July, 2018, and which Dr Samuel Ortom found offensive is proper and necessary.

“In view of all the above, I hereby retract the comments made during the press conference on 27th July, 2018, as it relates to Dr Samuel Ortom.”

The Cable themselve admitted that Lagos is the fourth largest economy in Africa.

So what is actually the difference between 3rd and 4th? That’s just a slip by 1 position.

So much for fact checking.

Read Well they said the state itself claims to be the 4th Largest.
This is the actual position; No 11.
TheCable compared Lagos to other African countries using the 2021 data. Using the official exchange rate in converting the GDP numbers provided by LBS and NBS, Lagos ranked 11th in Africa and 16th going by the parallel market rate. GDP figures above are from the World Bank, with the exception of Lagos, which was extracted from the LBS."

This is false and misleading.

So tests are not just taken at community level and multiplied.
Tests have to be recorded in facility register, along with lab register, all these will be subject to confirmation tests and verification.

Are there bad practices? Probably but there are many measures but in check to counter them hence the multiple level of documentation.

We like to talk down on anything Nigeria but somebody just comes makes claims with zero evidence and fiam front page.
