Religion / Re: Pastor Adeboye Buys New Helicopter For Rural Evangelism by Ekpekaycee: 9:37am On Sep 03, 2020
He got the same chopper as Bishop Oyedepo's Augusta Westland - this chopper can do a Lagos - Borno trip without refueling. Adeboye must have fallen in love with it during his last rural outreach where he used BDO's own to reach 23 villages on his Let's go a fishing campaign.

More importantly it can sit 15 people, and that is so important because for instance prior to procuring this mad ass chopper, BDO does his local travels in a Private jet. Cost would be quite high for him and his entourage.

But AW139 can do same local trips as Private Jet, far more flexible in landing anywhere and can take an entire entourage of 15 people at a fraction of the cost of PJs.

It cost a whooping 4.6 Billion (more than some PJs?) but very economical in the long run..

Hope other head of ministries would buy it too. It would really help them with local travel.

You have pushed to the defence of the man of God ahead of trolls who may come vanity upon vanity logic. But I only wished it was a church property. But then with the copper's registration number 5A-EAA....

I just wonder how our police could be so complacent and careless to allow such a notorious criminal to even have the slightest chance to escape. This happened with West in Port Harcourt, Rivers State not too long ago and now Sunday in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Kai If this is true, then this woman get heart. Can you imagine
1. Defrauded her fellow human beings in this kind of period when even the Rich are looking for palliative too.
2. She is a gambling frick, to have played sports betting with millions of naira.
3. Even have the mind to cheat God by paying just a million as tithe instead of 13.7million. (remember Ananias and sapharia)
4. Yet she could not give herself common comfort to look good.

By the way, who will see somebody like this and believe she has any economic solutions and which type of pastor will accept a million from this kind person without asking her where she got the money from.

FAAN Will complain continually of the unrully behavior of VIPs. Yesterday it was former governor of Zamfara state. Today it is governor Fintri of Adamawa state. Who knows who it will be tomorrow.
The only way out is to ban violectors for at least six months from using any airline in Nigeria.

The action taken against him will determine if others will follow suit or abide by the guidelines.
I suggest that the airlines ban him from traveling by air using any airline for a period of 60 days. If he tries all he can to travel by air during the period of ban and cannot, he and others will learn their lessons.

Health / Re: 463 New COVID-19 Cases, 121 Discharged And 10 Deaths On July 14 - (12707 Tested) by Ekpekaycee: 3:52pm On Jul 15, 2020
This total number tested, 12,707 is doubtful. As at 12/7/20, it was 181,248 and 3,015 was tested on 13/7/20 bringing the total number of tested as at 13/7/20 to be 184,263.
For the total number tested as at 14/7/20 to be 186,309, it means total tested on 14/7/20 is 2,046 and not 12,707 as reported here.

The government needs to be proactive. This war against banditry and terrorism will not be won as long as the government take loans to buy weapons while the bandits fund theirs with proceeds from kidnapping. Soon it may be hard to get loans but the kidnapping will always go on.

Politicians and name calling are like 5 and 6. Always ignoring the message while attacking the messenger. Always leaving the substance to pursue the shadow. Even if the woman is married to a football team, that is her business. Just respond constructively to what she said and give us your own side of the argument.

27/6/20---3/7/20

No. Of people tested--------------- 20,890
No. Of people with the virus---- 4,266
Percentage------------------------------- 20%

4/7/20---10/7/20

No. Of people tested-----------------27,835
No. Of people with the virus--------3,759
Percentage--------------------------------- 13%

Submission: More people were tested this week than last week, yet the number that tested positive for the covid-19 virus this week is less than the number of last week.

So why was the reopening of schools reversed on the grounds of spike in infection.

Was it the high VIP deaths of that the north is not ready for the exams that is the real reason for the reverse?
Education / Re: Reps Ask FG To Reverse Decision On 2020 WASSCE by Ekpekaycee: 9:54am On Jul 11, 2020
Federal govt. reverses school resumption with the excuse of spike in infection. But from NCDC statistics, the opposite is the case.
Between 27/6/20--3/7/20 (last week)
Total number of confirmed cases-- 4,266
Total number tested_-------------------20,890
I.e 20% of those tested had the virus
Between 4/7/20--10/7/20 (this week)
Total number of confirmed cases__3,759
Total number tested------------------27,856
I.e. 13% of those tested had the virus
( Thus while more people were tested this week, the number of people with the virus reduced.)
So with which statistics did the minister base his decision of was because of the high number of VIP deaths in the last one week that rattled him.

Sometimes people don't understand the effect of one minute of madness.
At most, #20,000 could have solved that. But the driver wanted to show he too have power to use the police.
Now the Van is seized, by the time it is released, whatever was inside will be stolen, rotten or expired. Big avoidable loss
Big money will be paid to get the Van out. Another big loss.
The fast food joint is closed down. Big loss.
Money will be in paid in compensations and to settle the case. Another big loss.
Policeman will lose his job and possibly go to prison. Big loss.
Van driver will lose his job. Another big loss.
All losses and not a single gain. Loss of life and many more losses not counted.
May we not be involved in such situations in Jesus name.

So a rape case lasted for a whole five years. The slow pace of Justice in my opinion is contributing to the increase in such cases.
Imagine people who knew when it happened five years ago and still see the culprit walking about since would assume nothing was done to him so they too can get away with similar crime.
