Properties / Re: World's Loneliest House, Abandoned For Over 100 Years by Ekpekaycee: 6:37pm On Dec 18, 2020
We are just inadvertently promoting the tourism potential of other places to the detriment of our own. Today you hear 1 million years old fossils found there, so so lost ancient city found in so so place, 1 million years old well preserved mummies found. Now world's loneliest house. Very soon we will be rushing there to see it
Politics / Re: President Buhari Meets Kankara Schoolboys by Ekpekaycee: 6:16pm On Dec 18, 2020
Some adversity can really turn to blessings. These young boys, even though from the same state as the president, would probably never have had the opportunity to meet with the president. Now by been kidnapped, they will now probably dine with the president.

My anger is that our own mad men and women do even more strange things and yet the media don't report it.

Kai, If this is true, I wonder who to blame between the media and the government for leaking such sensitive information.
A possible military strategy should not be revealed to the public (including the bandits) weather it is used or ditched eventually.
Politics / Re: Masari: Kidnappers Of Students Have Contacted Us, We Are Discussing by Ekpekaycee: 6:37pm On Dec 14, 2020
How? Do the have the governor's number or of somebody in government? Hope the government will not make the mistake of paying ransom as they will use the money to buy more weapons and next time they need money, they will look for more students to kidnap. The government shouldn't even have uttered this in the first place because it is neither good news or a breakthrough or an achievement.
Politics / Re: Ayade Orders Demolition Of Armed Robbers And Kidnappers’ Houses by Ekpekaycee: 2:28pm On Dec 14, 2020
That will be a waste of resources. The kidnappers will relocate to a different address. Leave the building and confiscate it for some constructive purposes and flush the kidnappers away Instead.

Which one should customs take more credit for : impounding trailer load of Niger local rice (foreign rice in Nigeria) or impounding smuggled gun.

Politics / Re: Claims Of 600 Abducted Katsina Students Untrue - Nigerian Police by Ekpekaycee: 4:01pm On Dec 12, 2020
Looking for students that escaped from the school.,.. hmm is the school a prison? I don't think the students escaped from the school, rather they ran for their lives.
Crime / Re: Bandits Abduct Students From GSSS Kankara In Katsina State by Ekpekaycee: 12:04pm On Dec 12, 2020
The military came and engaged the bandits, forcing the bandits to abandon their mission by escaping into the bushes WITH THE VICTIMS. So the bandits abducted the victims and you still say their mission was abandoned? What then was their mission?
Celebrities / Re: White Man Seen Working As Bus Conductor In Lagos State by Ekpekaycee: 12:14pm On Dec 08, 2020

Crime / Re: 2 Bandits' Informants In Katsina Confess To Have Masterminded Kidnappings by Ekpekaycee: 10:33am On Dec 05, 2020
Informants are more dangerous than bandits themselves for without them the bandits can not operate.
If government succeed in getting rid of informants, banditory will not thrive and will gradually fade away but if bandits are eliminated with informants still around,it won't take long and another wave of banditory, like Corona, will resurface again.

Crime / Re: Kidnapped Chinese Expatriate Released After Payment Of N100m Ransom In Ekiti by Ekpekaycee: 2:06pm On Dec 03, 2020
This kind of news should be reported with caution and maturity. 100 million can tempt many criminally minded people to see kidnapping as the next gold mine.
Politics / Re: Wike: Nobody Can Rename Any Part Of Rivers State by Ekpekaycee: 6:31am On Nov 28, 2020
The issue of concern is not naming or renaming, it is making every part of Rivers State to feel like it is in Rivers State in terms of amenities too. Afam road, leading to Afam power plant is in a very deplorable state. You go to Ikwerre road and you see it been re-tarred even when there are no pot holes on it and you think it will be easy to convince people that Oyigbo is in Rivers State?.

I don't get it. I thought they said the CCTV ware switched off. Which other CCTV are they talking about. Also Fashola discovered a hidden camera, how come nobody is talking about that. How come the panel is not asking If that discovery is meant to help, distract, distort, divert, destroy facts and evidences. If that discovery is swept under the carpet, then they wouldn't have done a thorough job.

Crime / Re: Austin Umera Shoots Wife, Kills Himself In Kaduna by Ekpekaycee: 7:35pm On Nov 19, 2020
When the going was good, he probably thought her how to shoot with the gun just as Need was seen teaching Regina.
Maybe a case of " since she can shoot too, let me shoot her first and then shoot myself so we can both go and settle the case in heaven rather than she shooting me and staying back to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
Romance / Re: Ned Nwoko Teaches Regina Daniels How To Shoot A Gun (Video) by Ekpekaycee: 7:20pm On Nov 19, 2020
Is gun now a toy in Nigeria that anybody can learn how to use even without license or permission? To me this is a security concern. Please I will like to know: Which comes first , learning how to use firearms and getting license or permission to use it. The answer will determine if the security agents should ask questions or not... billionaire or not.

Is this not the same pastor that was shaving the pubic hairs of his female members. If indeed, this is not drama, then the police should investigate the said pastor.

Education / Re: Crack In ASUU As Members Want End To Strike by Ekpekaycee: 4:09pm On Nov 07, 2020
The problem of the frequent ASUU strikes could be that in the previous years, when the strike have lasted for 3 to 4 months, the FG would be forced or blackmailed to make promises and sign MOU it knows it cannot keep and after a while, a fresh bout of strike will be called. But the way I see it, this time around, the FG may not be willing to be coaxed into making promises it cannot keep. If ASUU members are angry that even uneducated politicians are earning far more than them, ( they rightly should be , as ever other Nigerian is), but using strikes as an alibi is not the solution, rather let them join others to demand for total restructuring of government budgketing systems and enumerations.

A very good example of living in bondage. You like a way of life but you are here apologizing for living it , even denying it. And this is the case with thousands of others.
Politics / Re: Pastor Sunday Edino Arrested With Looted Medical Equipment Worth N1.2bn In Kogi by Ekpekaycee: 3:21pm On Oct 27, 2020
Greed is acquiring for oneself what is not needed simply because you are in a position to acquire it at no cost to you .
I have said it and I will repeat it again and again. The difference between the politicians who loot public money and the masses who loot public property is in opportunity. These people looting palliatives, if given the opportunity will loot public funds. Greed is in the DNA of our people. Only the man who have been in public office and comes out with clean hands can condemn politicians. We are just naturally greedy.

Our major problem with social media is the prolifilation of quack journalism and journalists. Exaggerating news items is tantamount to propagating fake news. To cut off the man's private parts is not the same as inflicting severe injury. Head line and news body should correlate.

Politics / Re: Adeyinka Grandson Asks Igbos To Leave Yorubaland; Rita Daniels, Soyinka React by Ekpekaycee: 6:55pm On Oct 25, 2020
Why give every nonentity undeserved attention? I ask these questions:
What is he and who is he?
What is his contribution to the greatness of the Yoruba race?
If the Igbo and other tribes leave south west, can he fill the vacuum that will be left?
Why humor this nincompoop with response? Empty vessels, they say, makes the loudest noise. Yes some can be used for storage but this type is best used to trash garbage.
