^-- Ghana deported Nigerians massively too though. And you all did it first even before Nigeria did. See this PDF: http://www.imi.ox.ac.uk/pdfs/rasheed-olaniyi |
"fool at 70" >>> this weak sh1t from IBB. OBJ will cook him again |
Though I actually had Ms Perfect a few years ago. 5'9 chick with an athletic, sexy body, big T and a big booty, intelligent, funny, going places in life (law school). But then I lost her through some very silly choices I made One of the dumbest things I have ever done in my life. |
kasiem:A 90+ year old woman's cvnt is what has you all hot and bothered? This is what you are fantasizing over? ![]() Somebody have pity on this dude and get him (or buy) some pvzzy! ![]() |
Truth. But I don't think most people are looking for the "ideal woman/man" or whatever. At least for me, just looking for Ms "good enough" rather than Ms "Perfect." |
If GEJ spends his time privatizing power and handing over all federal roads in the country to states (and allowing them to put up tolls on 'em if necessary to maintain them), I'd be much happier about that than some tax increase on the rich which they'll dodge anyways. |
There are bigger problems in Nigeria. Does the gov't even spend what it gets well before it wants to ask for more from the people? No, it does not. Do we have federalism in this country? Nope. Electricity, roads, etc, etc. What may be appropriate to help solve America's problems aren't necessarily helpful for Nigeria's. With that said, the Buffett article on the NY Times was pretty interesting. |

Needless to say, that is a sh1tload of money. If/when this "resource control" stuff happens, customs revenue needs to be a part of the discussion. |
By John Ofikhenua 2 hours 52 minutes ago The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Dikko Inde Abdullahi on Thursday disclosed that the service had collected N1.14trillion revenues in the last two years. He explained that the Customs adopted a revenue strategy which includes identifying and blocking revenue leakages in the system, setting up Special Duty Investigation Teams, System Alert Unit in Headquarters for closer monitoring and automation of all Customs Procedures from manifest submission of cargo release. This, according to him, led to the collection of total revenue of N662.15billion into the Federation Account, and N475.46 billion into the Non Federation Account from August 2009 and 2011. He spoke at Abuja during an interactive session with journalists. The session was organised as part of activities marking his two years in office. His words: “We adopted a revenue enhancement strategy which includes identifying and blocking revenue leakages in our system, setting up of Special Duty in Headquarter Teams, the establishment of a System Alert Unit in Headquarters for close monitoring and the automation of all Customs Procedures from manifest submission to cargo release. “This resulted into the collection of total revenue of N662.15billion into the Federation Account, and N475.46billion into the Non-Federation Account from August 2009 to date. This makes a total of over N1.14trillion into both accounts in two years,” Abdullahi added. http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news-update/16438-customs-collected-n1-14tr-as-revenue-in-last-two-years-says-abdullahi.html |

Not the type of farming one can get rich off of, that is highly mechanized and doesn't require much labor? Take the US for example. . . less than 1% of the population farmers, yet is one of the agriculturally productive countries on earth. Do you think Obama is going to promote farming as a way to solve his country's unemployment problems? ![]() Bleh, I hope he was misquoted or something. Because this entire article worries the hell out of me |
Governing these SW states shouldn't really be too hard. In some ways, it should be the easiest zone to govern after the SS. If you are a pro-business governor, focus on roads and start making plans for how you'll deliver or assist on power (since it looks like the FG is rapidly liberalizing the power sector.) What sense does it make to promote trade along your border with Benin Republic when you have the 5th largest economy in all of sub-Saharan Africa two states away (Lagos State)? Shouldn't you pursue the big fry rather than the small one? |
I am extremely skeptical of this. Export Processing Zone for. . . what? What exactly do you plan on making and exporting? With no electricity in Nigeria? Please do not sink government funds in an unviable project. Or is there something that I am missing here about why this project is worthwhile? No electricity, not easy to set it up privately for yourself (unlike say Lagos and Ogun) due to lack of a gas pipeline nearby (correct me if I'm wrong on this.) Poor transportation from Oyo to seaports. Tinapa/Calabar FTZ Part 2 . . . bleh |
18 August 2011 The Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi yesterday said that the state will develop an Export Processing Zone otherwise known as free trade zone that will cost between N5 billion to N10 billion. He said this when he visited the Minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga. The governor said free trade zone will generate about two million jobs as a result of the activities that will generate from the zone. "We want to change the socio-economic activities of Oyo State and no matter the investment that is required we will be willing to give it," he said. The governor said that they have put in place mechanism that will bring many investors and manufacturers to the state, adding that they are also going to promote their transnational border markets such as Oke Ogun which has boundary with the Benin Republic. He said that the state is blessed with agricultural potential and his administration would do all it could to unearth the assets. "We must concentrate on value added agriculture. We believe in agro-allied and we are going to develop it because 70 percent of our people earn their living through agriculture. We have arable land ready to be cultivated, agric is the highest employer of labour in the world so concentrating on it will mean a lot for our state," he said. Speaking, the Minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga said that the ministry would collaborate with the Oyo State government in the implementation of its new initiative on value addition for agro-allied industries as part of its mandate to generate employment and create wealth. He added that the ministry would work closely with state governments across the country to attract genuine foreign investors into various sectors of the economy. He said that by September this year, there will be signing ceremony between the government and one of the development partners on the transnational border markets in the state which is expected to create about one million jobs. http://allafrica.com/stories/printable/201108180379.html |
It is going to be nearly the same in every language. Write up a bit of pseudo-code to express what you want to calculate (you've already kind of done this a bit, but there are a couple of cases you'll need to check! Read the Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadratic_equation). Then you can translate from that to Java and the other languages. |
Tell your folk to calm their @sses down and I'll do the same. I haven't made fun of the dude dying prior to today, and ordinarily would not do so. |
Hehe. How much painkiller did they feed the old man tonight? It must suck, dying from a very painful, lingering wasting illness, eh? Speaking of tonight, which of his cousins/kinsmen is nailing Ojukwu's wife? And have his brother and children resolved their dispute over his property?Like two vultures fighting over a corpse ![]() This image seems appropriate: https://farm2.static.flickr.com/1385/1016152029_42a69f11ea.jpg |
Testing code is soooo important! I've been writing a web app on and off in my spare time for a while now. It is really helpful because you can then make changes in your code base, re-run the tests and then make sure everything still works properly. Imagine making a change and then having to manually test your app through a browser? So much easier to execute a single command that goes through your entire test suite. |
Aigbofa:Lmao ![]() |
^-- Don't even bother responding to this dude. He is a blustering f00l much like his townsman Ojukwu. Is he not the one who said the other day that in the US, if the president falls ill and his sickness isn't covered by his healthcare plan, they'd just let him die? ![]() These folks talk a good game, but don't back it up. . . |
