tit:
there is a gas line running from delta state thru edo, ondo? and ogun states to an industrial park in lagos state.
ogun state is obviously taking advantage of its proximity to the lagos industrial park and the captains of industry.
Yep, Shell supplies natural gas in Ota/Agbara area in Ogun State. Lagos is an 20+ million population market right next door, and the rest of the SW zone is probably another 25-30 million +. So probably 50 million people in an relatively small piece of land.

The state is uniquely poised to become the industrial hub of Nigeria.
Please do you have any concrete proof that the said policemen were Northern police officers, or is this one of your borderline tribalist posts?
Hmm:
Fadahunsi , however, said that the police arrested and charged two indigenes of the town who engaged the herdsmen in a fight.

He said, " The connivance of the policeman at the command in shielding the Fulani herdsmen has really worsened our plight.

"We have discussed the issue with the commissioner of police. He is aware of it but he said that his hands were tied in this case of herdsmen.

"If a top official of the police is conniving with his kinsmen to unleash terror on us in our land, then we are in trouble."
So unless the king and the townsmen are unable to discern the ethnicity of the policemen (doubtful), then it seems to me that this should be enough.

Are you indirectly saying that the police should not protect Nigerian citizens from lynching by bushmen or savages?
Heh. Hilarious to me that a Fulani like you will call anyone else a bushman or savage. At any rate, in my estimation, one of their lives is more precious than 100 of yours.

Tread softly.

@Garth, doesn't look like she did.

Kobo, his point is that Lagos and Benin City have similar population densities. His hypothesis is that you'll need to spend about the same amount of money per hectare on drainage (this hypothesis he is making primarily based on rainfall and similar density.) So if Benin City spends $X on drainage, and Lagos has Y times the population, then it'll need to spend $XY on drainage.

Does this make sense now?

Please stop acting like you're new to this. Again your risk line has NOTHING  to do with your source of income. Risk on a credit profile is determined by your FICO score also known as Fair Issac Consumer something. This score takes a lot into consideration and at the end of the day releases a number between 400 and 850. What increases your risk level is NOT your income but for instance, you have missed payments or late payments (30, 60 or 90 days late), number of times you had a "HARD INQUIRY", if it was for credit, was it granted or denied and why was it denied? How many trade lines do u have? For how long have you had them? These are all the factors that determine your risk level and NOT your income. Trust me I worked at SunTrust Banks, I know to some level Credit techniques.

Verifiable source of income is to support what your asking for, creditors want to determine, based upon your FICO score, credit history and your income, they are trying to find a trend pattern. For instance if you take home $3,000 monthly and have $2,000 on your credit file but with less than 20% as your revolving monthly balance, they know that you are less likely to spend but keep in mind they will look at your expense, if 80% of your $3,000 goes to expense that tells a different pattern. Though you have a low balance, a good credit, but you have other financial obligations to meet and extending credit to you might put u in default.

While banks DO NOT verify source of incomes from foreign countries, FinCen and banking regulatory laws allow them to look at foreign assets outside the OFAC list to determine if someone is able to make payments on an assets within the U.S.

Hehe. What would I be doing going to such God-forsaken states like Zamfara? What is there for me?

Anyway, they play fast and loose with the rules as is. Or aren't there already Sharia police in Kano? Don't they use those almajiris as an extralegal militia to threaten immigrants?

What is good for the goose is good for the gander

Which Navy SEALs are needed? Ordinary boys will whip their @sses.

Nobody has a monopoly on violence. And if you threaten a man's land and seek to unlawfully deprive him of his ancestral property, imo he has the right to kill you.

Kudos to Ogun state. But i can't help but wonder how come many companies are setting factories in ogun. from maggie making factory, to nestle nigeria, to recently May & Baker pharmacuiticals and now this. what is it in ogun that attracts them like that? why not other states? there is too many factories in ogun state already. well maybe am jealous of ogun state, but am happy for them.
God bless Ogun State. I'm not an indigene of it, but when I return to Nigeria I'd like to settle there.

Very unfortunate that the police are shielding them. These northern police officers need to be transferred back to their home region. Let police serve in their zone only.

If they are more careful though, they can attack the Fulani w/o getting caught by the police. Police cannot protect them 24/7.

And the police should not in any way inhabit self-defense forces.
