See here, Rashford led the line and Lingard scored against Derby. Martial came from the bench to give an Assist. Fellaini scored the second goal. There was no Lukaku.

If we are to argue using your logic, Lukaku is the reason Lingard and Martial have not hit 20 goals each because these boys are more productive without Lukaku. How about that?

Martial and Lingard have better returns on goals per minutes played than Lukaku. Why?

I don't know if what Mourinho is doing is right. He is publicly beating the players. His is unable to take blame for the UCL exit. Mourinho doesn't seem to encourage or motivate Luke Shaw. He will never say bad things like this about Fellaini, Bailly, Pogba and Lukaku.

But may be it is time to buy more defenders, particularly for the full back positions. Valencia is either over used already this season or is regressing. He seems to have lost his superb pace. We should however avoid another situation of buying a defender that Valencia and Young would bench when next season starts.

Heatmap is where the player has ACTUALLY BEEN on the pitch not where he touched the ball
Some players might touch the ball twice or zero times but they will still have heat maps showing where there average position has been

Look at the minutes per goal. Even a certain guy from Brighton is doing better than Lukaku

elampiro everybody knows Lukaku does not have Salah's speed or footwork. It was not there before, so it's not the case of if he has lost it. He has his strengths which would have been more pronounced if the team has been attacking well. He has been doing very well and he has shown great desire to be better.

Firmino is the striker in that team, with all the attacking tactics, he does not have more goals or assists than Lukaku.

The Firmino's example is the reason you guys should not have argued that Lukaku would have scored same goals as Salah, Kane and Aguero if he played in same attacking set up.

I have not ignored the ways the teams play. I just pointed out that playing outside the box is over exaggerated to defend some players.

He is playing well now. I am just trying to point out that it is not all about playing in the box. The third goal of Salah today was inside the box, but no United player will score that. May be Martial can try. Aguero might still try from similar situation.

Romero has great positional sense and good box control.

No doubt Liverpool plays attacking football, but truth be told, Lukaku is not capable of scoring the first and third goals of Salah today even if given 500 years. Salah scores strikers goals as well as great individual goals that are expected of Messi.
