PoliticsBuhari Government Wants To Kill Zakzaky by Elbinawi(op): 12:13pm On Oct 22, 2017
*Government Wants To Kill Zakzaky*

—Islamic Movement

Over two years of incarnation on without formal charges, Sheikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky is still being held in spite of a court order, asking for his release more than 10 months ago.
In addition on, neither his counsel nor the top echelon of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria(IMN) has had access to the Shiite leader, prompting his followers to boycott the Kaduna State Judicial Commission of Inquiry which was instituted last year.
Similarly, the group also reportedly shunned the Presidential Investigative Panel that was set up to look at the various human rights abuses perpetrated by the military.
Last week, IMN reviewed its stand and submited a memorandum to the panel.
In this interview, the President of IMN’s Media Forum, Malam Ibrahim Musa explains to IBRAHEM MUSA why the group had a change of heart and he also spoke on Zakzaky’s state of health.

*Earlier, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria(IMN) had pledged not to submit any memorandum to the Presidential Investigative Panel that is investigating human rights abuses by the military. Why did your group have a change of heart?*

We never said we won’t submit any memo to the Presidential Investigative Panel.
We wrote a letter to the then acting President who set up the panel and noted our concerns and expressed our doubts about the motive of setting up the panel at this point in time.
We noted the composition was not done to ensure fair play and justice.
We asked how the panel would be seen to be just, without giving our leader the chance to make his presentation.
We pointed out that the military had been indicted by an earlier investigation commission, even without our participation in Kaduna.
We also noted that Kaduna state government officials had confessed to participating in digging and burying hundreds of our members killed by the military in mass grave and yet nothing was done as if it was not a severe crime against humanity.
Finally, we observed that the military had not cooperated much in previous investigations beyond denials and desperate attempts at distorting the facts.
Consequently, we wondered what was going to be different in the present enquiry.
This same letter, we published as advertorials in some newspapers.
There was nowhere we said we would not appear before the panel.
We usually have our condition for participating in such inquiries and that is principally to have access to the Sheikh.
That condition was partly fulfilled with the granting of access to Sheikh Zakzaky to his principal lawyer, Barrister Femi Falana(SAN) some days ago.
It was only the second time in nearly two years of incarceration that lawyers were allowed to see him.
Thus, we submitted the memo.
Technically it was not a change in heart in any way as you referred to it, since we never actually stated whether or not we would appear before the panel.

*But in a petition dated August 17 and signed by Abdullahi Danladi, IMN said it will not appear before the panel because of certain concerns bordering on the impartially of the inquiry. Are you denying the newspaper report?*

Yes we deny the newspaper report that we said we will not appear before the panel.
The reporters of the story were just being sensational.
But if you read the letter carefully nowhere did we mention of boycotting the panel like we did that of Kaduna state government.
We just raised some concerns we harbor about the panel as I explained earlier.
I will even forward the letter we wrote to the then Acting President to you, so that you can verify our position on the matter.

*Does it mean that the doubt that you earlier expressed about the fairness of the panel has been addressed?*

Our doubts and reservations remain.
We submitted the memo so that at least we would state our case and the world would be a witness and it is left for the panel to make history in upholding truth and justice or embrace tyranny and persecution.
Our doubts remain however on whether this particular panel is sufficiently independent.

*But don’t you think that sending a memo one month after the panel commenced sitting is a wrong strategy?*

There is no wrong strategy in submitting the memo “late.” We, as a matter of necessity, had to have access to the Sheikh before any memo could be submitted.
This was achieved through Barrister Falana lately.
When it was achieved was the time when we submitted.

*Did the panel agree to receive the memo after the expiration of the deadline for submissions?*

The memo was successfully submitted.
There wasn’t any issue of deadline.
In fact the panel is yet to sit in Kaduna as we are talking now.

*Mention the names of the close ally of the Army Chief and the member who was at the earlier Kaduna State Commission of Inquiry, that you raised concern over their membership of the panel.*

I can’t disclose the names here, but the authorities know whom we are referring to.

*Can you give me an insight into the content of your memo to the panel?*

The memo detailed all that has been done against Islamic Movement by the military.
We have lined up our surviving victims of the genocide that will give evidence at the sitting of the panel in Kaduna.
The details surrounding the complicity of Kaduna state government in burying 347 members of IMN in a mass grave at Mando cemetery as detailed by the Secretary to the Government at the Judicial Commission of Inquiry sitting was also included.
Even though the state government had hurriedly demolished and cleared Sheikh Zakzaky’s house and our Islamic Centre of any debris, there is sufficient evidence to buttress our assertion that IMN is the biggest victim of human rights violation and abuses by the Buhari administration and specifically by its Army.

*What was the state of Zakzaky’s health when IMN lawyer him?*

His state of health is still not optimal or in the best of forms.
He still would require medical attention.
Imagine the state of a 60 year old two years after he had been shot at close range several times, having lost one of his eyes and with no proper medical attention given to him, even though a court of law had ordered his release.
We believe by his continued detention, the government wants him dead, but Allah the Almighty is sparing his life.

*Last February, IMN cried out that Zakzaky may go blind if he was not allowed to be examined by his doctors. Was the request granted?*

The request wasn’t granted as I’m speaking to you.
It’s unfortunate that this government is bent on creating an avoidable crisis in the country.
There is no justifi cation in denying Sheikh Zakzaky the right to look after his health.
The government just wishes him dead, but Allah spares him.
We are still praying to the Almighty on the persecution we are witnessing under this regime.

*So from what you are saying, it is not true that he was fl own by government to Dubai for medical treatment as widely rumoured at some point?*

You know this government thrives on lies to the public.
So we heard that he had been taken to Dubai for treatment in the aftermath of the Zaria genocide.
But it’s fake news to deceive the public.
He was treated poorly at 44 Army reference hospital in Kaduna.
That’s all that we know to date.
If at all they are serious in seeing him regain his health, the government should just obey the court order, set him free so that he can take care of his health needs which he needs seriously.

PoliticsAppreciation To Former President @gejonathan For Highlighting #shiagenocide: by Elbinawi(op): 9:26pm On Oct 21, 2017
Appreciation to former President @GEJonathan for highlighting #ShiaGenocide:

@adeyanjudeji @YarKafanchan @YemieFASH @Tutsy22 @ProfOsinbajo

Dear Sir @GEJonathan,
Hope you and family are well. Thank you for highlighting the inhuman #ShiaGenocide of President @MBuhari & evil gang.

The @HQNigerianArmy brutally murdered 33 #IMN members during your tenure. You called Sheikh Zakzaky & apologized. The corpses were returned.

#BokoHaram leader threatened Sheikh Zakzaky and Shiites on the 27th Nov 2015. President Buhari brutally murdered 1000+ Shiites two weeks later.

On 18th December 2015, four days after the inhuman massacre, President Buhari celebrated the massacre with the Saudi @KingSalman on phone.

@NGRPresident Buhari brutally murdered 193 Shia children in Zaria genocide that included infants. He burnt Shia pregnant women alive.

President Buhari's terrorists shot Shia women in their private parts and stabbed their breasts with Bayonets chanting "No Shia in Nigeria".

President Buhari's terrorists brutally murdered 3 children of Sheikh Zakzaky in his presence, killed his Nephew and burnt his sister alive.

President Buhari brutally murdered 1000+ innocent Nigerians during #ShiaGenocide & wickedly dumped the dead bodies in mass graves at night.

The peak of evilness of President Buhari, @elrufai & gang was that some of the Shiites they buried were still alive. They buried them alive!

During the 2015 general elections you @GEJonathan sent your close Aids to me three (3) times for my support. I declined. Please forgive me!

PoliticsSecret Testimony Of Sheikh Zakzaky Proof That Buhari Behind #shiagenocide by Elbinawi(op): 8:27pm On Oct 21, 2017
Secret Testimony of Sheikh Zakzaky proof that President Buhari behind #ShiaGenocide:

The leader of the murderous terrorist group #BokoHaram, Abubakar Shekau, released a video on 27th November, 2015. In the video Shekau threatened Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and Nigerian Shia community with genocide if they do not "repent". Exactly two weeks after this threatening video President Buhari sent heavily-armed soldiers to Zaria where they brutally slaughtered 1000+ Shia civilians in less than 72 hours and wickedly dumped the dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences.

After the brutal and inhuman #ZariaMassacre by President Buhari, the Nigerian government, its affiliates and Wahhabi allies sponsored by Saudi Arabia launched massive campaigns of calumny and demonization against Sheikh Zakzaky, #IMN, Iran and Shia Islam. Initially they lied to Nigerians that the Shiites they brutally murdered were "armed" but when Human Rights activists challenged them to produce the "arms" they went silent on that.

The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky suffered extreme brutal savagery and barbaric inhumanity from Buhari's soldiers terrorists. In one of my Tweets I summarized what Buhari's terrorists did to Sheikh Zakzaky:

"-You shot him 7*
-You shot his wife 4*
-You killed his 3 children
-You killed his Nephew
-You burnt his sister alive
-You burnt down his house
-You holding him & his wife in illegal detention for 21 months
-You do not want him to speak to Press.

Key: You = Wicked Mass Murderer Buhari"

Since the inhuman Zaria genocide President Buhari did not charge Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife to court and has prevented Sheikh Zakzaky from speaking to Press. During the sittings of the kangaroo Judicial commission of Governor Elrufai, Nigerian activists insisted on the appearance of Sheikh Zakzaky but the Nigerian regime vehemently refused. President Buhari thought the Zaria genocide will be forgotten with time but to his dismay international Human Rights organizations and even Western governments continue to mention it in their Human Rights report of Nigeria.

Last month Nigerian government established a presidential panel on Army atrocities. Initially IMN announced it intention not to attend the sittings of the panel but the Nigerian government allowed the head of the legal team of Sheikh Zakzaky to meet him, second time since the start of the illegal detention. Sheikh Zakzaky then directed IMN to present Memo to the Presidential panel on Army atrocities. In it first appearance IMN insisted that since Sheikh Zakzaky is the biggest victim of army atrocities he should be allowed to testify in person. After consultation with the Nigerian government, the leader of the panel agreed to the request of IMN but that it will be in camera with no Press coverage. Today Nigerians are asking "Why secret testimony of Sheikh Zakzaky?"

President Buhari, Elrufai & APC leaders fear that Sheikh Zakzaky speak to the press. They want to cover the heinous crimes of Zaria genocide. The full disclosure of the heinous crimes of Zaria genocide to Nigerians & unearthing the mass graves will destroy APC chances in 2019 general elections. President Buhari, Elrufai and gang of mass murderers want to hold Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife in illegal detention incommunicado until after 2019 elections. President Buhari and gang knows that Sheikh Zakzaky is a honest and truthful man who will never cut "deals" with them to hide truth. Unearthing the Mando mass grave of murdered Shiites will show Nigerians how wicked and evil President Buhari, Elrufai, Buratai and gang are. Bringing out Shia children brutally murdered by Buhari, Elrufai, Buratai and gang from Mando mass grave will shock the whole world.

The leading opposition party in Nigeria, PDP, will surely capitalize on President Buhari's executed #ShiaGenocide in Nigeria to show Nigerians the extent of the evilness of the wicked bloodthirsty tyrant. In his most recent rejoinder to President Buhari and APC government, former President GoodLuck Jonathan of the PDP wrote:

“On December 15, 2015, the Nigerian Army, under President Muhammadu Buhari’s command, killed 347 unarmed Shiite men, women, children and infants and buried them in a mass grave as revealed by the panel of inquiry instituted by the Kaduna state government.

“The excuse given by the military for this massacre was that the Shiites had blocked a road during one of their procession and this allegedly affected a trip by the chief of army staff.

"After killing his followers and destroying their place of worship, Sheikh Ibrahim ZakZaky, the spiritual leader of the Nigerian Shiite community, was illegally and unconstitutionally detained and has not been seen or heard of in public since December 15, 2015.

“So when the Buhari administration increased the pump price of petrol, Nigerians wisely reasoned that if the Buhari administration can kill 347 unarmed Shiite men, women, children and infants for blocking a road, it would be suicidal to give them an opportunity to do the same thing to them on a wider scale.”

"Under the Buhari administration, human life had become so cheap that the military and security services routinely kill innocent Nigerians be it Shiites, peaceful demonstrators or IDPs at the Rann IDP camp," said the statement from the Jonathan media office.

On a final note, a Minister in President Buhari's government recently accused Kaduna state Governor Elrufai of responsibility in the kidnap of #ChibokGirls by #BokoHaram. Hopefully with the disclosure of the full details of the monumenal savagery and barbarism of Zaria genocide Nigerians will discover the true sponsors of murderous BokoHaram terrorism.

PoliticsDebate In Northern Nigeria On Saudi Sponsor Of Terrorism by Elbinawi(op): 8:19am On Oct 21, 2017
Debate in Northern Nigeria on Saudi Sponsor of Terrorism:

Huge debate going on in Northern Nigeria among Sunnis about Saudi Arabia source & support of Wahhabi terrorism & extreme intolerance.

Sunni intellectuals in Northern Nigeria are spreading awareness about Saudi support and funding of murderous Wahhabi terrorist groups.

It is a known fact that Saudi-sponsored #Wahhabism inspired all murderous terrorist groups killing the innocent in the name of #Islam.

Our #Sunni brothers and sisters must understand that #Wahhabism only bring hate, intolerance and murderous terrorism to kill the innocent.

Muslims of Northern Nigeria are today backward in all the indices of progress and development. They are also victims of murderous #BokoHaram terrorism.

Bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages of Northern Nigeria love evil tyrant @MBuhari because he brutally murdered 1000+ Shia civilians in Zaria.

Semi-illetrate @MBuhari destroyed the economy with more than 4 million Nigerians out of jobs but he massacred Shiites so Wahhabis love him.

PoliticsThe Return Of Dangerous Sectarian Politics In Sokoto State by Elbinawi(op): 6:42pm On Oct 20, 2017

Attention: The Return of Dangerous Sectarian Politics in Sokoto State

Sokoto is renowned as the citadel of Islamic civilization in the whole of western Sudan. Thus, Islam as a religion is being held with high esteem amongst the teaming population. In recent years, however, political actors and their conspirators have been involved in dangerous politicization of Islam and its sectarian divide in the state. To be precise, in the build up to 2007 elections, the elites in the state were fiercely involved in power contestations and wrangling of dangerous sorts. Blood letting and violence of high magnitude defined this pattern of politicking. Hate speeches and violent mobilization along sectarian lines became the defining pattern of politics in the state. The Shiite minority group bear the brunt of this dangerous politics. During this period, dubious politicians, thugs, unscrupulous religious elements and bigots were at the fore front in the spread of hate and subsequent attacks on the Shia minority group in the state. The political labels attributed to parties and candidates in the myth of sectarian coloration exacerbated tension and widespread violence against the peaceful minority Shia group. Thus in the bid to wrestle power from one political party, certain group of politicians pledged to wipe out the Shia minority in the state. This has since become the strategy of electioneering campaigns in the state. This made the state, hitherto known as the most peaceful in the country to one of the most volatile and turbulent.

In the course of this precarious sectarian mobilization, dozens of Shiites were killed, hundreds gravely injured, houses in their hundreds burnt and destroyed, many properties and businesses also looted and damaged. This happened with little or no protection from the state. Indeed, an attempt by the then government to enforce the law in 2006, was greeted with outright condemnation by political opponents, who were the perpetrators. This dangerous sectarian politics even became institutionalized after the 2007 general elections. The new government, which promised to annihilate the Shia minority group soon swung into action by implementing a written script leading to gradual extinction of the Shia in the state. The conspiracy began with a false flag operation that led to the death of one of the hired preachers known for the spread of hate and violence against the shia minority. This thus marked the height of the massacre and displacement of the Shia by the combined forces of government (security agencies) and hired as well as indoctrinated thugs. As a result, additional dozens of innocent Shia were gruesomely murdered by thugs and security agents in combined operations. More than 260 houses burnt, shops and business holdings were looted and destroyed in addition to destruction of schools and religious centres. This attracted heap of praises for the government by bigots. In order to legalise its extrajudicial killings and destruction, a handful of other Shia members were arrested and arraigned, prosecuted but subsequently discharged and acquitted by the Federal Court of Appeal. The discharge and acquaintance of the oppressed shia citizens by the Court of Appeal climaxed their vindication as peaceful and law abiding citizens. Even after the acquaintance, compensations were not given to them and they remain unjustly endangered people in the state.

Partisan politics in the state has become highly sectarianised at the expense of the freedom of right to religion, conscience and human dignity, as guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution (as amended). Accordingly, government popularity in the state increases with level of persecution of the Shia. A political atmosphere has therefore been created to legitimize any sort of violence against the Shiiites as a strategy for political success. This was how the Shiites in Sokoto state fared until the 2015 elections. Sadly, this dangerous trend is re-emerging and regaining its feet in the state. The recent dispositions of the state government suggest that it is bent on buying cheaply to the violent anti-shia sentiment and committed to continue bloodletting of innocent Shia minority citizens. On two occasions, for instance, the present state government made declarations, press releases and conferences usurping the religious rights of Shiites to lawfully organise and execute their programs peacefully. These press conferences by the Commissioner for Justice of the state, Barrister Suleiman Usman (SAN), like the previous political tactics, were full of insinuations, instigations and falsehood with the view to prepare grounds for eminent violent attacks. One of such falsehood spread and mentioned in one of the press releases was that Shiites had organised a continental Shia gathering in Sokoto state. The government and its agents have succeeded in demonizing and stigmatizing the Shia population through sponsored hate speeches and campaigns. The label ‘Shia’ has now become vulnerability in itself. It is thus easier for political elements to engage in unwarranted persecution and violent crackdown to gain popularity cheaply. Not even the Shiites, those who have any understanding or sympathy for the Shiites are themselves vulnerable to persecution and violence. Recently, the state government denied a prominent Qadiriyya Scholar, Sheikh Musa Qasuwini, the son of Late Sheikh Nasiru Kabara entry into the state on account of his alleged sympathy for the Shiites. This was influenced by the pressures of Wahabi and Salafi Scholars, who publically commended the government for its continued persecution of the Shia minority groups and their sympathizers. As a return to this dangerous trend, the security agencies are being alerted, and thugs mobilized and empowered to unleash violence on the Shiites.

It is on this account that we draw attention of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and all relevant agencies as copied in this plea, that the lives and properties of innocent and vulnerable Shia group are eminently at risk. This is even more pressing given that the 2019 elections are by the corner and politicians in the state are bent on a return to this dangerous sectarian bloodshed as a strategy for partisan mobilization. The need for prompt and impartial response is thus urgent and can not be contemplated.

Thank you in anticipation of your urgent response.

Why are Some Christians Slaves of Bloodthirsty Zionist Jews?

The are some Nigerians who hate us because they are slaves of Zionist Jews. Christians worshipping Zionist Jews who hate Jesus (as).

Nobody insult and denigrate Jesus (as) and his chaste mother, Mary (as), like Zionist Jews but these Christians are worshipping them.

Bloodthirsty Zionist Jews do not have the right to be daily killing innocent Palestinian Muslims and Christians & destroying their houses.

Bloodthirsty Zionist Jews will never be the "chosen people of God". Bloodthirsty murderous criminals will never be chosen by the Merciful God.

We are opposed to any injustice, oppression and genocide against any section of humanity. Unjust occupation of #Palestine is monumental evil.

PoliticsSheikh Zakzaky To Testify In Camera Before The Presidential Panel On Army by Elbinawi(op): 7:47am On Oct 19, 2017
Sheikh Zakzaky to Testify in Camera before the Presidential Panel on Army, as Observers Berate Secret Hearings

The Presidential Investigation Panel on Compliance of The Armed Forces with Human Rights Obligations & Rules of Engagement has agreed to allow the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikhh Ibraheem Zakzaky to give an oral testimony in Abuja in camera. At the resumed sitting held in the Premises of the High Court of Kaduna State on the 18th of October 2017, the Petition filed by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) came up for hearing and the immediate challenge was whether or not Sheikhh Zakzaky would be allowed to give his testimony before the Panel.

Counsel to the Movement, Mr. Maxwell Kyon Esq. who led two other lawyers in the matter, informed the Panel that he had filed an application before it praying for its direction requiring the production of Sheikh Zakzaky to testify before the Panel. He also prayed the Panel for a direction deferring the hearing of the petition filed on behalf of the IMN to Abuja for hearing. Mr. Kyon pointed out that the first arm of his application had become necessary in view of the fact that it would be against the tenets of fair hearing for the panel to determine the petition without hearing from the leader of the Movement.

According to him, the application seeking the deferment of hearing of the petition to Abuja was necessary because he had no time to put together witnesses to testify before the panel in Kaduna because the lawyers were not told in time that the panel will commence siting in Kaduna until quite late. He said, “it was practically impossible for us to put together witnesses within such a very short time.”

However, the Counsel representing the Nigerian Army, Prof. Yemi Akinseye George SAN, raised a preliminary issue of law challenging the competence of the Petition filed by the IMN in view of the fact that the Movement had been proscribed in Kaduna State. According to him, the Petition could not be treated by the Panel in Kaduna or even anywhere else in Nigeria in view of the said proscription of the Movement in Kaduna. He therefore suggested that Counsel to the Petitioner should change the title of the petition to reflect that he was representing the members in their individual capacities and not as a body. Reacting to this, Mr. Kyon for the Petitioners submitted that the Movement is not confined to Kaduna State alone but that it is a body existing across all the states of the Federation and therefore the Petition could be treated as constituted.

After hearing the arguments of counsels on both sides, the Panel drew the attention of the Counsel to the Army, Prof. Akiseye SAN to the Report of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry that looked into the Army/Shiite issue he tendered, which stated that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria was a “body existing in all the States of Nigeria.” It was on this basis that the Panel decided it could hear the petition as it is presently constituted. The case is therefore slated for hearing in Abuja between the 30th of October 2017 and the 3rd of November 2017.

On the question of whether or not the Panel should direct the production of the leader of the Movement to testify before it, Prof. Akinseye George informed the Panel that the Sheikh was not in the custody of the Army. Mr. Kyon then informed the Panel that the Sheikh is in the custody of the DSS and that it was imperative for the Panel to direct the production of the Sheikh as “it would amount to lack of fair hearing if the Sheikh is not produced.”

In its ruling the Panel considered the application made by the Counsel to IMN, and consequently directed all relevant bodies who ought to facilitate the production of the Sheikh before it to make adequate arrangements for the evidence of the Sheikh to be taken in camera, either at the location where he is currently being held or in any other location deemed appropriate, because of what the panel called “security questions that may arise in respect of the matter.” The Panel hence directed that Counsels to the Petitioner and the Nigerian Army shall be present at the hearing in camera of the testimony of the Sheikh fixed for hearing between 30th of October and 3rd of November 2017.

Observers of the case of Sheikh Zakzaky received this with mixed reactions. Although some considered this as a huge progress forward in view of the fact that the Sheikh will have a chance to state his own side of the story, others believed that secret hearing is a source of concern as it could jeopardize the course of justice and fair play. “Secret hearings at all times seek to cover evidence and this can be inimical especially in cases such as this,” they said. They contended that justice cannot be assured if the hearings hold secretly, especially when the brutal attacks carried out by the Nigerian Army that resulted in the deaths of over a thousand unarmed people including women and children was brazenly done openly. Others pointed out that already there are signs of compromise on standards the Panel had set for itself to carry out an open fair hearing.

It is unclear whether or not other witnesses that the IMN intends to present to establish the range of crimes against humanity carried out by the Nigerian Army in that genocidal attack in Zaria between 12th and 14th December 2015 will also be in camera. IMN has already cast doubts on the independence of the Panel.

In another development, the Panel Chairman mentioned that there was another petition before it pertaining to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. This second petition was brought in by one Muhammad Ali on the second day of the sittings of the panel and brought a further addition to the petition a day later. It was not clear what the content of the petition was, as the counsels to the Movement were not served. The Chairman of the Panel said all cases involving the IMN will be taken together in Abuja between 30th October and 3rd November 2017.

The petitioner, Muhammad Ali, was the main Consultant contracted by the Nigerian Army to package its schemes and plots against the IMN during the days of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry last year. He was seen prominently being urged by the officers of the Nigerian Army present in the court room where the sittings were taking place to quickly make his submissions. It is difficult to conceive how they intend to deny the blatant crimes against humanity that has already been established by the previous Judicial Commission.
As usual, the Free Zakzaky Campaign Team will keep you updated on the developments as they unfold.

PoliticsGlimpses Of The Range Of Crimes Against Humanity Carried Out By Army In Zaria by Elbinawi(op): 10:06am On Oct 16, 2017
Glimpses of the range of crimes against humanity carried out by Nigerian Army in Zaria (December, 2015)

Today Monday 16th October, 2017 the sitting of the Presidential Investigation Panel looking into human rights abuses by Nigerian Army is expected to commence in Kaduna. We therefore reflect on the range of offences seen in Zaria genocide and the crimes against humanity initiated and executed by the Nigerian Army including but not limited to:

*1. Mass extra judicial killings:*

On that fateful weekend, the Nigerian Army started the killing spree at about 12:00 noon on Saturday, 12th December. As they shot without provocation, they also dragged the corpses along into large trucks waiting in the vicinity. Contrary to what they sold as the actual cause of opening fire, there was no Chief of Army Staff at that point. There was no road block and there was no procession or any program taking place at the time.

Only a handful of mostly students taking lessons with their tutors and early arrivals for the flag changing event to have held by late evening were in Hussainiyyah at the time. The Chief of Army Staff arrived the scene of the event about three hours later at 3:20pm. That was when the alibi was acted and filmed with their agents performing.

Soon after that, they maintained a siege of Hussainiyyah for almost 20 hours, until in the early hours of Sunday 13th when they threw explosives inside the compound and forcefully made their way. In the process, they further killed scores including the injured in the earlier shooting, who were receiving first aid inside the complex. Again, they parked all the corpses and went away with them.

On that Saturday the 12th at about 9:30pm, soldiers arrived the Gyellesu neighbourhood of Zaria, where the residence of Sheikh Zakzaky was. Most of the members of the Islamic Movement who had come for the event of flag hoisting had gone to the residence or surrounding houses where other members of the Movement lived. These were the ones who came for the program from far and wide but could not make it to the Hussainiyyah because of what was going on there at the time.

As soon as the soldiers arrived, they opened fire indiscriminately and as a result, casualty figures were mounting in geometric proportions. This went on throughout the night and well into Sunday late afternoon. By that time, well over a thousand people were killed. The whole of Gyellesu residence of the Sheikh and surrounding places were littered by heaps of corpses, as attempts at parking the corpses into military trucks by the soldiers could not match the rate of killing. On Monday morning, they came back and continued from where they stopped! That was when they killed the three sons of the Sheikh and also fatally shot both the Sheikh and the wife at pointblank range.

That same Saturday night, another contingent of the Military had proceeded to Darul Rahma burial ground belonging to the Islamic Movement, where scores who could not reach either the Gyellesu residence or the Hussainiyyah took refuge. Again, all the people there were killed in cold blood.

Overall, well over a thousand souls were killed by the Military between Saturday and Monday.

*2. Secret burials in mass graves:*

There were so many corpses than they could park and much more than all the morgues in Zaria could take. Initial corpses were deposited in ABUTH Shika. Others were taken to Nigerian Military Deport in PZ. However, there were many more than they could possibly handle. A decision was made on Sunday to secretly give them mass burial.

To further hide the number of those killed, the site of the burial was chosen to be about a hundred kilometers from the scene, in Mando, in the outskirts of Kaduna. The time chosen for the burial, 12 midnight removes any iota of doubts that there was a deliberate attempt at hiding the figures killed. That the burial took nearly five hours to complete gives an idea of the number of people they struggled to cover.

We reliably know that there are at least two other undisclosed sites close to this confessed place. At the right time, these other sites will be made public.

*3. Rape:*

Witnesses reported that young girls were raped and shot, especially in Hussainiyyah and Darul Rahama. There were reports of other types of sexual assault. Many young girls had their veils forcibly removed. The Sisters forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria had addressed a press conference over this much earlier. Witnesses abound.

*4. Genital mutilation with a view to prevent further reproduction of the group:*

One of the worst crimes committed against the Islamic Movement was a pattern of deliberate attacks and mutilation of the reproductive areas of especially the women and girls. For instance, women shot were shot in the pelvic regions of the body. Others had their breasts cut off. The worst of all, the soldiers verbally abused them saying that even if they survived, they will not live to born more Shiites! Pregnant women had their bellies reaped open and the foetus killed. It was obvious that they wanted outright prevention of further reproduction within the group.

*5. Arson:*

The military quite early in the attacks engaged in criminal, intentional and deliberate setting of buildings on fire. That was what was done to most buildings particularly the house of Sheikh Zakzaky and surrounding houses.

*6. Burning people alive:*

This was what befell most people who were so injured to move away from fire as the military torched the buildings. Sheikh Zakzaky's elder sister was picked and thrown into the fire while she was still alive. The same fate befell so many others. Beside the weak and injured, the rampaging soldiers also burnt corpses as well.

*7. Burying people alive:*

Witnesses reported that some survivors were buried alive. This was particularly true of those shot in Darul Rahama. There was no certification of deaths before the hasty mass burial.

*8. Wanton destruction of properties:*

This pogrom executed by the Nigerian military involved massive wanton destruction of properties belonging to the Islamic Movement. The destruction of property did not stop at only the places the killings and arson took place, it extended to other places where there was no incident at all, such as Sheikh Zakzaky's Mother's house and grave. In Darul Rahama, many graves were desecrated as well.

*9. Forced evictions:*

So many members of the Islamic Movement especially those hitherto resident in Gyellesu were forcibly evicted from their houses.

*10. Wrongful detention:*

Hundreds of other members of the Movement, including the injured, women and very young children were arrested and arbitrarily detained wrongly. Some few died in custody and many suffer from life-threatening illnesses but remain wrongfully detained without access to appropriate medical attention. Others are standing trial forcefully falsely accused of culpable homicide among other framed up charges. The trials are stalling as prosecutors proceed with the cases at a snail pace. Some others remain detained without charges for almost two years now.

Sheikh Zakzaky and the wife belong to the later category. When the Sheikh challenged his detention in Court and obtained a favourable judgement stating that his continued detention by the Department of State Security is illegal, unconstitutional and violates his fundamental rights, the government continues to detain him and the wife almost incommunicado in contempt of that court ruling.

*11. Enforced disappearances:*

The Nigerian army abducted many members of the Islamic Movement, especially girls and young men and took them to unknown destinations. These are probably being held in several underground detention facilities across the country.

The Islamic Movement had brought out a list of over 800 of its members still missing, who might probably be alive somewhere.

By and large, these are by no means an exhaustive list of very serious unspeakable crimes against humanity committed by the Nigerian army in Zaria in December of 2015. Although Amnesty International talked about a scandalous mass attempt at coverup, it is expected that the Panel will rise above parochial approach to meet expectations and dispense justice.

[video data-wpid="151" src="http:///2yoMblw" class="size-full" data-temp-aztec-id="f6e4a84f-a348-4532-8631-c1c5e5f2c913"]

We await justice as the World watches. It is actually long overdue for the Nigerian authorities to come out clean about what happened in Zaria between December 12 - 14, 2015.

More than 230 innocent civilians were brutally slaughtered by bloodthirsty Wahhabi terrorists in #Mogadishu, Somalia.

These 230+ murdered Somalis were not Europeans or Jews, they were Africans and Muslims. Reason why there is no world outcry & condemnation.

No outcry from their own African and Muslim brothers and sisters because most of them are mental slaves of genocidal European savages.

Imagine if it were 230+ Europeans killed in a terrorist attack! President Buhari will be the first to send condolences & strong condemnation.

BUHARI LOVES CORRUPTION

How many people remember how Olisa Metuh was handcuffed for receiving campaign funds? Buhari’s friend -Babachir Lawal stole N250m, he’s FREE.‬

Olisa was never a Govt appointee like Babachir Lawal. He only got campaign funds from sources he didn’t know at all. Babachir was not only a government appointee. He was Secretary to the Government of the Federation. He used his office as SGF to steal money meant for IDPs. A Senate Committee of Enquiry found him guilty. Buhari failed to act. Another Committee set-up by the president himself in an attempt to cover the fraud of Babachir Lawal led by VP Osinbajo also found him guilty but Buhari still failed to act.

Buhari is corruption personified. Our president loves corruption.

The Mask Is Off: Buhari Is Corrupt, Factional, Lacks Integrity

Dr. Perry Brimah

Where is the integrity in a man who stubbornly shields cabal accused of looting millions of dollars meant for the upkeep of victims of Boko Haram terror? Does such a person have integrity? Can a person who continued to employ and now fights to protect a former corrupt regime security chief found to have $43 million stashed in an apartment his wife bought be said to be against corruption?

How do you defend a president who promoted officials in the NNPC who were all part of the former corrupt regime's top staff when looting of billions of dollars was happening under Diezani and Jonathan? How do you claim integrity for such a ruler who after his minister of state complains about such person and accuses him of misappropriations to the tune of $25 billion, only forces a gag to save personal face?

Is dealing with corruption and protecting the future of the Nigerian masses more important to Buhari or is saving his name and his cabal cronies his top priority?

They say, show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. Whose friends are Abba Kyari and Maman Daura? Are they your friends or are they not Buhari's friends? How do you extract Buhari from the corrupt cabal at the presidency who he appointed, employed or handed Nigeria over to? Even if he made a mistake at first, how do you defend him for keeping them around him till the end of his tenure? How do you explain how Buhari has failed to lock up a single corrupt cabal and has never seen the need to fire a single of his cabinet members, in spite of all sorts of allegations? Were they all perfect? Obasanjo sacked ministers and locked up his police chief. And Obasanjo is no one to write home about.

How do you explain the alleged embezzlement at Aso rock clinic and Buhari's exorbitant medical tours? How do you explain the presidential jet unnecessarily parked abroad at a cost of millions of tax-payer dollars? Integrity? While thousands of Nigerians are dying from hunger? How do you explain the Emefiele-run FOREX subsidy scam, as bad as Jonathan's fuel subsidy scam, that had Buhari making new billionaires and feeding the established cabal billions as Emir Sanusi lamented and Reuters reported in its article captioned "Africa’s richest man got a fistful of dollars in Nigerian currency squeeze."

How do you regard a ruler who participated in nepotism with CBN and FIRS jobs and who turned the other way and failed to investigate when his army chief was accused of possessing millions of dollars worth of property in Dubai? How do you describe a ruler who refused to investigate persons like Saraki and Dangote listed in the Panama Papers damning expose?

What can we say of a president who goes all out to protect Dasuki by never bringing him to court? A man accused of looting billions of dollars, and leading to the deaths of tens of thousands of Nigerians?

And then, what legacy does a man who aims to tear Nigeria to pieces with his factional and sectional policies, leave behind? A man who has struggled to introduce Sunni, Shia open and deadly enmity in Nigeria, never before heard of in our nation? A man who tore apart his very own north and whose regime stands accused of massacring and secretly burying hundreds of Shia Muslim minorities in the middle of the night?

How do you regard a man who sent the army to massacre secessionist pro-Biafrans on several occasions but who defends rampaging militant Fulani herders who have actually raised down dozens of towns and villages and who murder an average of 1000 Nigerians every year?

As early as a month after Buhari was sworn in, I recognized how self-centered Buhari was. I wrote an article in July of 2015 that went viral on LindaIkeji, captioned "Buhari Changes Personal Security But leaves Nation Under Risk - by Perry Brimah." Yes, while Buhari had invited me to his inauguration, that did not stop me from quickly realizing that the Buhari who was just sworn in was not the Buhari we had prognosticated. This was another person, a "Jibrin."

Some had quickly detected who Buhari was...the minute he gave his infamous 97-5% sectional speech in the US. However it took longer for the mask to come off for others to see who Buhari was and who he was not. But today, most can see. Buhari is no man of integrity; he is no man who detests corruption. Buhari is a chip of the old block. A PDP man. A colonial-minded cabal, detached from the masses. A slave driver and cabal defender.

Unfortunately the APC regime is no different from the PDP regimes before it, both in person and principle. Like the Bible said, some come to steal, kill and destroy and some come to give life. Even fanatic Nigerians are beginning to determine what this government has come to give. The mask is off. The sheep's skin has fallen.

Murderous criminals Buhari, Elrufai, Buratai etc who executed the inhuman #ZariaMassacre & Saudi agents in Nigeria were spreading lies that Iran is funding #IMN.

President Buhari and his gang of mass murderers have not present a single proof to Nigerians that #Iran is funding IMN programs and activities.

IMN since inception fund all its programs and activities. When we were students at ABU, Zaria, we fund all our programs and activities on campus from our personal allowances.

We use to invite Sheikh Zakzaky for #Ramadan Tafsir. Then Sheikh Zakzaky have no car, we use to seek for contribution in the Tafsir session to fund his transport.

In 2013 the Israeli regime incited the GoodLuck Jonathan regime to go after me due to my Online activism against them. They searched my Bank accounts but saw nothing.

IMN have lots of projects on paper but can not execute them due to lack of funds. IMN had a Safe vault in the destroyed Husseiniyya where members contributions are kept.

When the Nigerian Army bombed and destroyed the Husseiniyya they stole more than 10 million from the IMN Safe vault. They killed our children and stole our money.

Today the biggest financial challenge IMN is facing is funding the 1,978 Orphans of the Zaria genocide. Children whose parents were killed by Buhari and gang.

PoliticsOpen Letter To Sultan Of Sokoto On Persecution Of Shiites by Elbinawi(op): 8:41pm On Oct 12, 2017
That open letter to Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar by Musal Al-Qasuyin Nasir Kabara,

by Prof. Abubakar Liman

12 -October - 2017

History is a living testimony to the fact that Islam in Bilad’u-Sudan has indeed come along way. In short, Islam is an integral part of the history of West Africa. As you are well aware, Sunni Islam is the dominant current that has found its way to West Africa since the emergence of the religion in the Arabian Peninsula. However, Shi’a Islam has only existed in pockets and clusters across Africa. That has been the situation until its massive gains lately with the eruption of 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran, which was engineered by Ayatollah Ruhullah Khomaini.
The two broad doctrinal divisions of Islam have been around with us in Africa for centuries, except of course if someone is now going to erase the history of Fatimid Muslims in Egypt, a history that is responsible for even the birth of Al-Azhar University. The Fatimids have almost wiped off the historical map of Islam by the forces of Salaudeen Ayubi (the Kurd) who was in the neighboring Palestine to confront the Crusaders. There are also the Shi’a communities of East Africa that have been with us since the Shi’a migrations from the Middle East as they ran away from the persecution of Omayyad Caliphs. In this article, however, I will be concerned with both the history and sociology of Islam in contemporary northern Nigeria, a region that has all alone been of a mosaic of faiths, characterized by plurality religions, doctrinal differences, and variegated ideological formations.
As elsewhere described by Mervyn Hiskett, the elitist and exclusivist Qadiriyya Sufi Order, which has historically triggered the emergence of more populist and pragmatist Tijaniyya Sufi Order, is as old as Islam in Africa. Qadiriyya is one of the forerunners of West African Islam that inspired the growth and development of Islamic reform movements and revolutions in the 19th century. Islamic revolutionary upheavals have historically swept large swathes of land across Sahel West Africa. The Sokoto Jihad in Hausa land under the leadership of Sheikh Usmanu bin Fodio is one typical example. The ideological superstructure that nourished the Sokoto Jihad is drawn from Qadiriyya Sufi ideas with its Mahdist streak that motivated such a revolution in Hausa land. Since the conquest of Habe dynasties of the ancient Hausa kingdoms by the forces of Islamic Jihad, Sokoto was established as the new capital of what Murray Last described as Sokoto Caliphate. Henceforth, the city of Sokoto becomes the new spiritual nerve centre of the Caliphate or what is subsequently dubbed the Emirates of Northern Nigeria. Throughout the colonial period, the efforts of British colonialists to undermine the sovereignty of the Sultan or Caliph of Sokoto, as the case may be, did not much affected the spiritual significance of Sokoto, especially amongst the adherents of Qadiriyya Sufi Order.
The tombs of the Sheikhs, the founding fathers of the Sokoto Caliphate, appropriately named the Hubbare, has for more than one hundred years been attracting people magnetically to the place. It has become the center of perennial visit of Muslims of Qadiriyya extraction from all corners of West Africa and beyond. On annual basis, Qadiriyya Muslims from all parts of Nigeria and Niger Republic have been coming for a mini-pilgrimage to Sokoto to offer prayers at the Hubbare, and to seek Allah’s blessings through the agency of the wali (saint) that was buried there. A tradition has since been established in which Qadiriyya adherents would have to pay homage to the tomb of the saints of Sokoto at least once in a life time. I myself could vividly recall how Sheikh Nasir Kabara himself would make a detour to spend the night in our family house before proceeding to the Hubbare in Sokoto. That was between late 1960s and the 1970s. It used to be an annual event, especially in those days. This is, however, the context of Sheikh Musal Qasuyin Nasir Kabara’s aborted visit to Sokoto. Sheikh Qasuyin is not new to such visits to Sokoto. Decades ago, he used to accompany his late father to Sokoto to pay his respect to the tombs of the leaders of Sokoto Jihad resting at the Hubbare.
For whatever curious reason, Sheikh Qasiyun was denied entry into Sokoto to visit the Hubbare. Heavily armed military personnel and mobile police were mobilized to refuse Sheikh Qasiyun access to the city of Sokoto. What could have been the reason behind the drastic measures adopted by Sokoto authorities? In the letter he couched in Hausa language, Sheikh Qasuyin Kabara claimed that for two months he made efforts to secure permission from the officials of Sokoto Emirate to pay a visit to the Hubbare together with his followers, but to no avail. Authorities had refused to even respond to his phone calls. As usual with everything that borders on faith in Nigeria, Sheikh Qasiyun decided to damn the consequences by attempting to visit Sokoto without the express permission of the officials of Sokoto Emirate, as reckoned in his letter. On this journey, Sheikh Qasiyun’s followers mobilized slightly over fifty vehicles for the journey. He received the shock of his life when he met heavily armed mobile police at the entrance of the city of Sokoto. Worse, at the premises of the Hubbare a contingent of army personnel was stationed to prevent him from coming there. Sheikh Qasiyun alleged that he was denied access to the Hubbare by the officials of Sokoto Emirate Council because he and his followers were said to be professing Shi’a Islam. He was also said to be intent of violently forcing his way to the Hubbare. A charge he flatly denied elsewhere in his letter.
The letter also unequivocally expressed Qasiyun’s reservations on the conduct of the Sultan whom he has chosen to address directly. The opening section of the letter alluded to how the Emirate Council in Sokoto decided to take sides in the battle of supremacy raging between Sheikh Qasiyun and his elder brother Sheikh Qaribu Nasir Kabara. He proceeded from there to exhort the sultan to always investigate issues before he takes sides or jumps to conclusions. For the avoidance of doubt, Sheikh Qasiyun outlined three key components distinguishing his fundamental concerns in his proselytization activities. First, he describes himself as a specialist on the history of Prophet of Islam vis-à-vis the establishment of the Islamic faith. He particularly calls attention to the spiritual proximity of the Prophet to the almighty God. In addition, he specialized in recounting the exquisite sterling qualities and impeccable virtues of the Prophet from authentic Sunni sources. Second, he sees himself as an indefatigable activist of Qadiriyya Sufi Order rather than the Shi’a he was alleged to have been. Third, he was not known to be someone who minced his words over the conditions of Muslims in Nigeria and other parts of the world. All these concerns, according to him, he inherited from his father Sheikh Nasir Kabara of blessed memory. So, if anybody sees Shi’ism in these concerns he should blame his teacher and father for giving him such orientation.
The next section of his letter was his unabashed defense of Shi’a Muslims and their creed. He wondered why the Shi’a Muslims in Nigeria were so hated to the extent of justifying their brutal dehumanization and killings. He posed a question to the effect that if Shi’a Muslims were so hated because of the allegation that they are in the habits of discrediting the companions of the Prophet of Islam, why were non-Shi’a creeds ignored in their own type of excesses? He further asked, how could any sensible person welcome those (their identity is not disclosed in the letter) that are also in the habits of raining torrents of abuse on the personality of the Prophet and his family or even the most compassionate God? How could anybody accept those kinds of people that would turn around to hypocritically claim the defense of the integrity of the companions of the Prophet? More so, he could not understand the rationale of a Sultan that would be running from pillar to post calling for inter-faith unity in Nigeria while at the same time ignoring the persecution of Shi’a Muslims, especially whenever their fundamental human rights as Nigerian citizens were violated, despite the constitutional guarantees of rights and liberties of all citizens irrespective of their choices of faith systems. He then concluded his letter with strings of advice to the Sultan on the need for him more than any other person in Nigeria to exercise justice and equity dispassionately in his handling of the affairs of all Muslims no matter their doctrinal differences.
Obviously, it is very difficult to fault the position of Sheikh Qasiyun in his letter to the Sultan of Sokoto. To begin with, as he categorically denied it in his letter, he is not a Shi’a Muslim or clergy. He is, of course, a thoroughbred Qadiriyya brotherhood member in the footsteps of his late father. However, authorities are a little bit edgy because of his style of preaching which, to them, sounds too Shi’itesque in its expression of the esteem and virtues of the Prophet of Islam and his progeny, which some latter-day Islamic denominations are not happy with at all. In fact, more than many scholars of his own kind, he establishes his justification exclusively from Sunni sources and references in his analysis of events in Islamic history. And in case we don’t know, Sufi Orders share lots of things in common with Shi’a Islam, at least in the adoration of the Prophet of Islam. We need to read more the history of our faith with an open mind to understand the nature of what we think we are fighting, as he rightly inferred in his entreaty to the Sultan of Sokoto. Furthermore, if you can stop Shi’ism, you can as well stop some sections of Muslim from expressing their love for the Prophet.
To this end, I will join Sheikh Qasiyun in saying that intimidation, persecution and threats of death cannot stop the spread of Shi’a Islam here or elsewhere. If that approach did not work in the past, I can’t see how it will work in the present. The earlier we understand this the better for everybody. If persecution were efficacious, it would have worked for Saudi Arabia against its significant Shi’a adherents in not just the Qatif region, but in Medina and Mecca. Again, now that our own kids are trooping into atheism en masse due to our refusal to be tolerant and broadminded, what are we going to do to them? Are we going to kill them, too? My dear people, intolerance, and threats to ideas and differences are not going to take us anywhere. We should have understood that by now anyway.

#ZariaMassacre: Chief IPO fingers Army in killing of Corporal Dankaduna

The Chief Investigating Police Officer, Chief Superintendent of Police, Ibrahim Abdul, of the Nigeria Police who led the investigating team of Police that investigated the Zaria incident in December 2015 has placed the blame in respect of the alleged killing of Cpl Dankaduna on the doorsteps of the Nigerian army.

Over 200 members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria have been in Prison Custody since December 2015 while standing trial before the Hon. Justice David Nyom of the High Court of Kaduna State allegedly for killing Cpl. Dankaduna and for other sundry offences.

At the resumed sitting of the Court on the 10th of October 2017, the Prosecution led by the Director of Public Prosecution of Kaduna State, Mr. Dari Bayero put CSP Ibrahim Abdul in the box as the prosecution's 43rd witness.

Under cross examination, Counsel to the Defendants, Mr. Maxwell Kyon Esq., asked the Chief Investigating Police Officer whether the Army had informed him at the point of showing him the corpse of Cpl. Dankaduna that the said Cpl. Dankaduna died as a result of "friendly fire."

The Chief IPO responded by saying that the Nigerian Army had indeed suggested to him at the time when he went to see the corpse of Cpl. Dankaduna in the morgue at the 44 Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna that the Cpl. was killed as a result of "friendly fire."

This new information completely changes the entire color of the case against the members of the Movement, who are standing trial before the Kaduna High Court for allegedly killing the same Cpl. Dankaduna, who from Abdul’s testimony obviously met his end from the barrel of the gun of his colleague, another soldier.

Still under cross examination the same CSP Ibrahim Abdul conceded that he never went to Zaria to investigate what actually happened on those fateful days in December, 2015 when over 347 members of the Movement were killed as the Nigerian Army viciously attacked multiple religious sites of the Movement.

He stated that all he did was take delivery of the exhibits handed over to the police by the Nigerian Army and the suspects were brought along with the said exhibits.

According to the CSP, " I didn't have the time to go to Zaria to investigate the incident, so I simply made do with the information supplied to me by the Nigerian Army."

In another development, the Pathologist, rtd Col. Ayuba, who conducted the post mortem examination on the corpse of Cpl Dankaduna said he was asked to carryout the post mortem on the 13th of December, 2015 and that he met the corpse in the morgue of 44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna already "partially decomposed." He agreed with the defense lawyers that it was possible that the said corpse might have died earlier than the stated date given.

Col Ayuba said there was no way he could tell who might have killed Cpl Dankaduna because "I am not there." He said he has only summoned to carry out the post mortem exam, which he did and reported. All the background information was as he was given by the Nigerian army, he said.

Further hearing has been fixed for 9th and 10th January, 2018 during which time the prosecution is expected to close its case and defense lawyers to open their defense.

".....Wiki leaks had issued a letter which was written by Saudi Foreign Minister to the Nigerian army that the situation in your country has changed; Shiite is spreading fast and you are sleeping. If you look at this letter then it will be clear on who did the attacks on Nigeria.

This is an ISIL type attack in which terrorism is spread. They are trying to make the Nigerian Shias threatened and scared from being Shias. This is an act of making people distanced from Shia. They are thinking that they can destroy Shiite by swords. Ameerul Momineen (a.s) says that those who survive from swords they spread very fast. You cannot destroy Shia’s by swords; neither in Iran, Parachinar, Gilgit, Quetta, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and neither in Nigeria. Those days are gone when a loud voice would be raised and Shias will run inside home. Now the time is when you raise your voice Shias will pull your tongue out. The Shias found the way and now they could not be suppressed. If they would have been suppressed then you should be happy that you have terminated Shiite in Karbala; then how come so many Shias are present in Nigeria?

If you would have known the code of Ashura then you would not have carried out this aggression. This is because the neck that is cut in Ashura, the blood which drops in Ashura it produces communities from it. Today this great tree in Nigeria is witnessing this...."

Sheikh Usman Ibn Fodio or Shehu Usman dan Fodio (December 15, 1754 — April 20, 1817) was the founder of the Sokoto Caliphate in 1809. A religious teacher, writer and Islamic promoter, Dan Fodio was one of a class of urbanized ethnic Fulani living in the Hausa States in what is today northern Nigeria. A teacher of the Maliki school of law and the Qadiriyyah order of Sufism, he lived in the city-state of Gobir until 1802 when, motivated by his reformist ideas and under increased repression by local authorities, he led his followers into exile.

This exile began a political and social revolution which spread from Gobir throughout modern Nigeria and Cameroon, and was echoed in an ethnicly Fula-led Jihad movement across West Africa. Dan Fodio declined much of the pomp of rulership, and while developing contacts with religious reformists and Jihad leaders across Africa, he soon passed actual leadership of the Sokoto state to his son, Muhammed Bello.

Dan Fodio wrote more than a hundred books concerning religion, government, culture and society. He developed a critique of existing African Muslim elites for what he saw as their greed, paganism, or violation of the standards of Sharia law, and heavy taxation. He encouraged literacy and scholarship, including for women, and several of his daughters emerged as scholars and writers. His writings and sayings continue to be much quoted today, and is often affectionately referred to as Shehu in Nigeria.

Dan Fodio's uprising is a major episode of a movement described as the Fulani hegemonies in the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It followed the jihads successfully waged in Fuuta-Jalon and Fuuta-Tooro between 1650 and 1750, which led to the creation of those three islamic states. In his turn, Shehu inspired a number of later West African jihads, including those of Masina Empire founder Seku Amadu, Toucouleur Empire founder El Hadj Umar Tall (who married one of dan Fodio's granddaughters) and Adamawa Emirate founder Modibo Adama.

Dan Fodio was well-educated in classical Islamic science, philosophy and theology and became a revered religious thinker. His teacher, Jibril ibn 'Umar, argued that it was the duty and within the power of religious movements to establish the ideal society free from oppression and vice. His teacher was a North African Muslim who gave his apprentice a broader perspective of the Muslim reformist ideas in other parts of the Muslim world. Dan Fodio used his influence to secure approval to create a religious community in his hometown of Degel that would, Dan Fodio hoped, be a model town. He stayed there for 20 years, writing, teaching and preaching.

In 1802, the ruler of Gobir and one of Dan Fodio's students, Yunfa turned against him, revoking Degel's autonomy and attempting to assassinate Dan Fodio. Dan Fodio and his followers fled into the western grasslands of Gudu (present day Niger State) where they turned for help to the local Fulani nomads. Usman dan Fodio was proclaimed the Commander of the Faithful in Gudu. This made him political as well as religious leader, giving him the authority to declare and pursue a jihad, raise an army and become its commander.

A widespread uprising began in Hausaland. This uprising was largely composed of the Fulani, who held a powerful military advantage with their cavalry. It was also widely supported by the Hausa peasantry who felt over-taxed and oppressed by their rulers. Usuman started the jihad against Gobir in 1804. The Fulani communication during the war was carried along trade routes and rivers draining to the Niger-Benue valley, as well as the delta and the lagoons. The call for jihad did not only reach other Hausa states such as Kano, Katsina and Zaria but also Borno, Gombe, Adamawa, Nupe and Ilorin. These were all places with major or minor groups of Fulani scholars.

After only a few short years of the Fulani War, dan Fodio found himself in command of the largest state in Africa, the Fulani Empire. His son Muhammed Bello and his brother Abdullahi carried out the jihad and took care of the administration. Dan Fodio worked to establish an efficient government grounded in Islamic law. After 1811, Usman retired and continued writing about the righteous conduct of the Muslim belief. After his death in 1817, his son, Muhammed Bello, succeeded him and became the ruler of the Sokoto Caliphate, which was the biggest state south of the Sahara at that time.

Usman’s brother Abdullahi was given the title emir of Gwandu, and was placed in charge of the Western Emirates, Nupe and Ilorin. Thus, all Hausa states, parts of Nupe, Ilorin and Fulani outposts in Bauchi and Adamawa were all ruled by a single politico- religious system. From the time of Usman dan Fodio there have been twelve caliphs, until the British conquest of Sokoto, at the beginning of the twentieth century, in 1903 by Frederick Lugard. #HistoryVille

Announcement of concern from Human Rights Defenders
about the lack of consideration of Nigeria religious minority
rights.

As reported earlier, on December 12, 2015 the Nigerian army attacked the center of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in
the city of Zaria and killed hundreds of people. Despite the initial reactions by the Human Rights Defenders and also by numerous other reports on the scale of this crime, we have not seen any serious action by the United Nations in this regard and the Nigerian government takes it as tacit approval for the continued violent crackdown with impunity on this religious minority.

When terrorists attacked Paris, we were all united and were ready to send battleships and fighters in defense of the
people in Paris. On the other hand, when religious minority group were brutally attacked by agents of Nigeria we
remain silent about the heinous crime of Nigeria. What is the difference between African black people and French
people?

Close to a thousand members of Nigerian Shia minority group along with the leader’s family members were killed and buried in mass graves in the shadow of deadly silence of those who claim to defend Human Rights. The Western media have also severely censored this obvious crime against humanity by refusing to cover the horrific incident!

Undoubtedly, what happened in Nigeria is a clear example of a crime against humanity committed by a state claiming to be a democracy.

The obnoxious attacks on Shia sites including the house of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky in Zaria, Kaduna state, Nigeria in
December 2015 was not the first of such attacks and thus far, it was certainly not to be the last, since such crimes occur in the shadow of silence and passivity of the international and human rights communities.
The Human Rights Agency asks the Presidency of the Human Rights Council to begin an independent investigation into
the situation of Nigeria's Shia minority and listen closely to the voices of the victims' families. The minority religious group has always lived under oppression and persecution and since their mass slaughter in December 2015; they have had to endure a much greater persecution to the extent that they are attacked during even the most basic religious rites
and ceremonies by the Nigerian military.

The right to freedom of peaceful assembly of the Nigeria religious minority is still violated by the Nigerian military, in
gross violation of Articles 18, 19, and 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Articles 18, 19 and 21 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Article 10 of the African Charter of Human Rights, which guarantees them these rights.

Foreign AffairsTrump Hostilities Towards Rising #iran: by Elbinawi(op): 12:33pm On Oct 10, 2017
Trump Hostilities Towards Rising #Iran:

Immediately after the 1979 Islamic Revolution when #Iran was weak & vulnerable, the #US & the West failed woefully to destroy Iran.

The US & the West imposed 8 years bloody war on #Iran via Iraq. They armed Saddam with sophisticated weapons. US gave him Chemical weapons.

The #US & the West then imposed all sorts of debilitating sanctions on #Iran for more than 30 years but Iran kept progressing & developing.

Today #Iran is more than a Regional power. Iran is today knocking on the gates of a world power & there is nothing the US can do about that.

The idiot @realDonaldTrump in the White House should understand that no amount of US sanctions will slow down the phenomenal progress of Iran.

And forever greedy & genocidal European savages will never plunder & loot the rich resources of #Iran again. Iran's resources is 4 Iranians.

European savages should concentrate on plundering Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, & other despotic Arab regimes. That will also end one day.

Today the Israeli regime is frightened by the rising power of #Iran and allies. They are behind the stupidity of Trump on #IranNuclearDeal.

IslamAbraha Attacked Kabā And Birds Killed Elephants. by Elbinawi(op): 7:10am On Oct 09, 2017
17 Muharram 1 'Āmūl Fīl

ABRAHA ATTACKED KABĀ AND BIRDS KILLED ELEPHANTS.

A king in Yemen captured and tamed an elephant. That king was originally from Abysinia, and his name was Abrahā. He built a church in Sinai, and called it Al-Qulais, claiming that he would be able to make Arab pilgrims congregate at Al-Qulais instead of at the Ka`bah, in Makkāh. But he felt that he first needed to do away with his competition, which meant destroying the Ka`bāh, so he made an oath to go to the Ka`bāh and fulfill his goal of destroying it. He then set out with his army, clearly intending to go to the Ka`bah.

One of the kings of Himyār, Zu Nafār, came out to fight Abrahā; the latter defeated the former and took him as a prisoner. Upon being taken to Abrahā, Zu Nafār said, “O king, do not kill me, for keeping me alive (to help you) is better for you than killing me.” Abraha spared him, though he made sure to tie him up.

From Al-Maghmas, Abrahā sent a man named Al-Aswad ibn Maqsud to the forefront of his army. Al-Aswad and those with him were met by the dwellers of Makkah, and were able to seize 200 camels that belonged to `Hazrat Abdul-Muttalib .

Abdul-Muttalib said, “We will not fight him; we will free up all that lies between him and the house (i.e., we will not stand in his way, but will instead depart Makkāh for a while). If Allāh puts nothing in his way to stop him from reaching it, then, by Allāh, we have no strength against him.”

`Abdul-Muttalib accompanied Hunatah back to the encampment of Abraha’ s army. `Abdul-Muttalib was a huge, muscular, and handsome man; so when Abrahā saw him, he welcomed and honored him. Disliking both for `Abdul-Muttalib to sit with him on his bed, and for `Abdul-Muttalib to sit beneath him, Abrahā descended to the carpet beneath the bed and sat down beside `Abdul-Muttalib.

– “O king’ said `Abdul-Muttalib, “You have taken a great deal of wealth from me, so return it to me.”

– “You indeed impressed me when I saw you, but I withdraw (that admiration) from you.”

– “And why?” asked `Abdul-Muttalib.

– “I have come to the House that is your religion and the religion of your fathers and that is your sanctuary and protection – for the purpose of destroying it. You do not speak to me about that, yet you speak to me about (a meager) 200 camels that belong to you!”

– “I am the lord of these camels,” said `Abdul-Muttalib. “This House has a Lord Who will defend it.”

– “He would not defend it from me,” said Abraha.

– “Then that is your affair,” said `Abdul-Muttalib.

Abraha issued a command, upon which ‘ Abdul-Muttalib’ s camels were promptly returned to him. `Abdul-Muttalib returned to the Quraish, informed them of what was happening, and ordered them to seek shelter in the mountain passes of Makkah

When they were ready to proceed towards Makkah, the elephant was prodded into marching forward, but it stood still. It almost bundled itself up and knelt to the ground. They struck it with a pickaxe in the head, but it still refused to move even an inch forward. They tried again to make it move, but it stood there, motionless. They directed it back towards Yemen, and it raced in that direction; but no sooner did they make it face Makkah again than it stopped. The elephant then made its way to one of the mountains in that area.

As for the army, Allah sent from the sea birds like Balasan (starling birds). With each bird were three stones, two in its legs and one in its beak. The stones they carried were like chickpeas or lentils. When they flew over the army, they hurled the stones down upon them. If any person in the army was hit with a stone, he died, but not all of the people in the army were hit.

Allāh said:

"Have you (O Muhammad) not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the elephant? (The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abraha Al- Ashram intending to destroy the Ka`bah at Makkah). Did He not make their plot go astray? And sent against them birds, in flocks, striking them with stones of Sijjil (back clay) . And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle)"

PoliticsIntolerant & Bloodthirsty Wahhabi Savages Will Destroy Northern Nigeria: by Elbinawi(op): 12:15am On Oct 09, 2017
Intolerant & Bloodthirsty Wahhabi Savages Will Destroy Northern Nigeria:

Bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages & ardent supporters of President Buhari prevented prominent Sunni scholar, Sheikh Musal Qasiyuni Nasiru Kabara, from entering Sokoto.

The Wahhabi savages are accusing the Sunni scholar, Sheikh Musal Qasiyuni Nasiru Kabara, of the Qadariyya Brotherhood of been Shia Muslim.

The Sufi Qadariyya Brotherhood have exemplary love for Prophet Muhammad (sa) & His AhlulBayt (as) and intense hatred for their enemies.

The great Islamic Revolutionary and Reformer of West Africa, Sheikh Uthman Ibn Fodio, was a member of the Sufi Qadariyya Brotherhood.

In one of his Books Sheikh Uthman Ibn Fodio made Tawassul with the Twelve Imams of Shia Islam, from Imam Ali (as) to Imam Mahdi (ajf).

Qadariyya Brotherhood scholars openly condemned Abu Sufyan, Mu'aiwiya and Banu Ummayad caliphs. They declared them as enemies of Islam.

Qadariyya Brotherhood adherents strongly condemned the brutal & inhuman #ShiaGenocide execution by bloodthirsty mass murderer Buhari & gang.

President Buhari & some Northern Governors are tools of the Saudi regime & are backing the bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages of Northern Nigeria.

Gov @AWTambuwal of Sokoto state is one of the Saudi tools in Nigeria. Others are Elrufai of Kaduna, Ganduje of Kano & Masari of Kastina.

My warning to Northern leaders:
Intolerant, bloodthirsty & terrorism-enabled Wahhabism will destroy Northern Nigeria at this unchecked rate.

PoliticsBuhari And Shekau Are Ideologically One And The Same by Elbinawi(op): 7:15pm On Oct 07, 2017
BUHARI AND SHEKAU ARE IDEOLOGICALLY ONE AND THE SAME

Buhari is boko haram and boko haram is Buhari, they share same ideology of venomous hatred that makes them kill people unjustly.

I grow up hearing people ascribing peace to Islamic religion without seeing the peace among majority of Muslims talk more of living in harmony with others. Considering the fact that today, the most violent ridden countries globally are that of the Muslims; Who are in a state of either war or insurgency crisis or both; So many Blood-bathing around the Muslim world; So, I became confused. How can a peaceful religion breeds violence?

Then I met Sheikh Zakzaky, from him I got the true Islamic version(Shi'a) that doesn't support, encourage or allows blood spilling outside the context of the Law.

I learned the utmost value of every human life and the sacredness of human blood from him. I was groomed to be just and fair even to my enemies but most importantly to stand by the oppressed people irrespective of tribe or religious affiliations.

When Sheikh Zakzaky's 3 undergraduate Sons were brutally murdered by the Nigerian Army during a Peaceful protest under GEJ, he told his followers to remain calm and demanded justice to take its course of which a panel for investigation was set... He did not call for violence.

And when Nigerian Army accused some Shiites of blocking the way of the Army Chief where soldiers killed seven on the spot and went on thereafter extra-judicially executing all Shiites found location after location whom did not block the Army in anyway, the Shiites refused to trade the path of violence.

They opted for legitimate redress though the judiciary and defeated federal government in court. The federal high court in Abuja declared Sheikh Zakzaky innocent since December 2016 and ordered for his unconditional release including payment of compensation to him and his wife and providing accommodation for them of which Buhari has refused to obey that court ruling till today. Still the Shiites remain peaceful and law abiding.

All I'm trying to say is that Sheikh Zakzaky's attack and continuous unlawful detention was/is never in accordance with Islamic teachings or Constitutional provisions. Whatever is Illegal is unlawful and condemnable.

When Buhari lost election in 2011, Buhari's incitement was what fuelled the crisis that erupted after the election which resulted in unnecessary lost of many lives and properties. Buhari has never accepted defeat, he has been a very intolerant and so disrespectful to court rulings that are not in his favor.

In a senseless display of arrogance, Buhari has ordered Soldiers to kill thousands of Nigerians extra judicially since he took over power just two years ago. Yet we are experiencing hunger and the highest crime rate records in Nigeria's history.

Nigeria would have been better without wahabi murderous criminals like Buhari and boko haram. Buhari is a curse to Nigeria.

The wicked mass murderer tyrant @MBuhari allowed Sheikh Zakzaky to meet with the head of his Legal team, Barrister Femi Falana SAN last week.

It was only the second time Sheikh Zakzaky was allowed by the wicked tyrant @MBuhari to meet with his legal team in 22 months of illegal detention.

President Buhari brutally murdered 1000+ Shia civilians in Zaria that included 193 children & dumped the dead bodies in mass graves at night.

I personally do not have confidence in the Presidential panel inaugurated by @ProfOsinbajo but attendance will expose the murderous cabal.

PoliticsIslamic Movement In Nigeria Submits Memo To Presidential Investigative Panel by Elbinawi(op): 11:58am On Oct 07, 2017
Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) submits Memo to Presidential Investigative Panel

The legal team of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has completed the filing of memorandum to the Presidential Investigative Panel set up by Vice President Yomi Osinbajo to investigate cases of human rights abuses by the Military some weeks back.

As the largest single group of victims of Nigerian Military's most brutal and flagrant abuses of Human rights in the country, the Islamic Movement has all it takes to nail the planners and executors of the mass killing of our members in July 2014 and the more audacious Zaria genocide of December 2015, which involved horrendous mass murder of over a thousand unarmed civilians within a few hours, arson, looting, rape, hate speeches and campaigns, genital mutilation with aim of limiting reproduction within the group, mass graves, wrongful detention and enforced disappearances.

The crimes of the military against the Islamic Movement were not mere human rights abuses but indeed crimes against humanity, for which the International Criminal Court at The Hague has since opened a preliminary investigation. It remains to be seen whether the present presidential panel is sufficiently independent to do a thorough job.

Earlier, the Islamic Movement had pointed out its concerns about the purpose and composition of the Presidential Panel through a letter sent to the President and published in paid advertisements. Other areas of concern expressed by IMN include the possible exclusion of those being detained who may not be allowed to make their own submission and the traditional recalcitrant attitude and lack of cooperation of the military in previous attempts at investigating these crimes.

Notwithstanding the doubts of the fairness, independence and impartiality of the Presidential Panel, the leader of the Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has decided that a memo be sent to the Presidential Panel after a rare meeting with the head of the Legal team, Barr Femi Falana SAN last week. It was only the second time the Sheikh was allowed to meet with the legal team in 22 months of illegal detention.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Presidential Panel has the guts and wherewithal to do a thorough independent job.

The Free Zakzaky Campaign team will keep you informed on development in that regard.

PoliticsImn Reply To Minister Of Information, Lai Mohammed by Elbinawi(op): 11:01am On Oct 06, 2017
PRESS STATEMENT

IMN REPLY TO MINISTER OF INFORMATION, LAI MOHAMMED

*Nobody can absolve Buhari from complicity in the continued detention of Sheikh Zakzaky*

In a recent interview with the Hausa service of BBC, Minister of information, Lai Mohammed, insisted that the federal government’s continued illegal incarceration of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, against a valid subsisting court order is for some undefined “security concerns.” He went further to say that the security concerns of the nation are far above the fundamental human rights of any citizen. He further exonerated the President from responsibility for the continued detention of the Sheikh simply because of what he termed the character of the President not to interfere in the affairs of security agencies.

Certain obvious questions beg for answer. We will like the Minister to come out clearly and tell the World at what point the Buhari government realized that Sheikh Zakzaky is a security threat. This is because for more than a year after the brutal attack on Sheikh Zakzaky and the Movement he leads, the official position had been that he was being kept in “protective custody” and they had told the court he did not commit any crime. The court having therefore ruled that “protective custody” is alien to all known laws of the land ordered for his immediate release and awarded compensation against the government for wrongful detention. Having lost on that front the government is changing the goal post midway into the game.

It must be observed that this new position canvassed by the Minister is even at variance with what he earlier stated when asked why the Buhari government has not released Sheikh Zakzaky within the time frame the court ordered. At that point he said they wanted to obey the court order to release the Sheikh and build a house for him as the court had said, only that they were limited by people not wanting to be neighbors of the Sheikh. This is the very reason why Lai must tell the world when they suddenly realized that the Sheikh is now a “security concern.”

If the Minister is convinced that their government has justification for brandishing this new position, why won’t the government charge him to court to prove why they must continue to hold him? Everyone is presumed innocent until proven otherwise and the government cannot live above the laws of the land and capriciously detain innocent citizens without recourse to the laws of the land. This same Minister had shamelessly said the courts do not “have the full picture” in yet another previous interview when asked why their government was disobeying court judgments. We challenge the Minister to go and give the courts the full picture and let the courts scrutinize his allusions. Indeed, “security concern” has become the currency of the moment!

Another very dishonest insinuation in that BBC Hausa interview by Lai Mohammed was the frantic attempts at shielding President Buhari of any complicity in the Zaria genocide of December 2015 and the continued detention of Sheikh Zakzaky in contempt of the court. The President’s complicity is not in doubt in the whole of the pogrom. As the chief security officer of the country, Buhari kept a sealed mouth initially even when armed soldiers of whom he is the ultimate commander in chief killed over a thousand unarmed citizens and secretly dumped in mass graves within a few hours. The initial reaction of the presidency was that it was a “military affair!” When further pressed to comment by media men he tamely said “it was a Kaduna state affair.” However, the President let the cat out of the bag himself in faraway Qatar in an interview with a satellite television channel Al-Arabiyyah on 1st March, 2016 that the Zaria massacre was to curtail the rapid growth of Shiism in Nigeria which he attributed to what he called “Iranian missionary activity” that they will not tolerate. We challenge the Minister to rebroadcast that Al-Arabiyyah news clip on national television network to deny the obvious complicity of his principal.

Finally we would like to reiterate our two year stance, namely the immediate release of our leader Sheikh Zakzaky and all other members of IMN being detained across the country. It is our right to demand for our religious freedom and other fundamental human rights and we will not shy away from doing just that in a peaceful manner legally.

IslamEnglish Sermon By Syeda Zainab (sa) In Court Of Yazid (la) by Elbinawi(op): 8:08pm On Oct 05, 2017
English Sermon by Syeda Zainab (sa) in Court of Yazid (la)

“Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds and blessings on my grandfather, the seal of divine prophets.”

“O Yazid (la), Allah says, and his word is true, that: ‘Then evil was the end of those who did evil because they rejected the communications of Allah and used to mock them’ [30:10].“

“O Yazid (la), do you believe that you have succeeded in closing the sky and the earth for us and that we have become your captives just because we have been brought before you in a row and that you have secured control over us?

Do you believe that we have been afflicted with insult and dishonour by Allah and that you have been given honour and respect by Him? You have become boastful of this apparent victory that you have secured and you have started feeling jubilant and proud over this prestige and honour. You think that you have achieved worldly good that your affairs have become stabilized and our rule has fallen into your hands. Wait for a while. Do not be so joyful. Have you forgotten Allah’s saying: ‘The unbelievers should not carry the impression that the time allowed to them by us is good for them. Surely we give them time so that they may increase their evil deeds, and eventually they will be given insulting chastisement’ [3:178].”

“O son of freed slaves, is this your justice that you keep your own daughters and slave maids veiled while the daughters of RasoolAllah (saw) are being paraded from place to place exposed?!”

“You have dishonoured us by unveiling our faces. Your men take us from town to town where all sorts of people, whether they be residents of the hills or of riversides have been looking at us.”

“The near as well as the distant ones, the poor as well as the rich, the low as well as the high – all casting their glances at us while our position is such that there is no male relative of ours to render us help or support.”

“O Yazid (la), whatever you have done proves your revolt against Allah and your denial of His Prophet [s.a.w.] and of the Book and Sunnah that the Holy Prophet [s.a.w.] brought from Allah. Your deeds should not cause amazement because one whose ancestors chewed the livers of the martyrs, whose flesh grew up on virtuous people, who fought against the Master of divine prophets, who mobilized parties for fighting against him and drew swords against him, would obviously excel all Arabs in unbelief, sinfulness, excesses, and hatred against Allah and His Prophet [s.a.w.].”

“Remember that the evil deeds and sinful actions that you have committed are the result of kufr and the hatefulness you bear because of your ancestors who were killed in Badr.”

“One who cast his glance of enmity, malice and hatred upon us does not lag behind in practicing enmity against us. He proves his unbelief, declares it with his tongue and jubilantly proclaims: ‘I have killed the sons of the Prophet [s.a.w.] of Allah and made his progeny captive,’ and wishes that his ancestors had lived to see his achievement and to have exclaimed, ‘O Yazid (la), may your hands not lose their strength, you have wreaked good vengeance on our behalf.'”

“O Yazid (la), you are striking the lips of Imam Hussain (asws) with your stick in front of this crowd while these very lips used to be kissed by the Prophet [s.a.w.] of Allah, and yet your face reflects pleasure and happiness.”

“By my life, by killing the master of youths of Paradise, the son of the Master of Arabs (Ali asws) and the shining sun of the progeny of Abd ul-Muttalib (as), you have deepened our wound and uprooted us completely.”

“By killing Hussain (asws) ibn Ali (asws) you have gained nearness to the state of your kafir ancestors. You proclaim your deed with pride and if they were to see you they would approve of your action and pray that Allah may not paralyze your arms.”

“O Yazid (la)! If you had heart enough to take account of your nefarious deeds, you yourself would surely wish your arms to be paralyzed and severed from your elbow and you would wish that your parents had not given birth to you because you would know that Allah has become displeased with you. Allah, Grant us our rights. Avenge those who have oppressed us.”

“O Yazid (la)! you did what you wished, but remember that you have cut your own skin and your own flesh to pieces. Soon you will be brought before RasoolAllah (saw). You will be overburdened with the weight of your sins committed by shedding the blood of his progeny and by dishonouring his family. The place to which you will be taken will be before all the members of his family. The oppressed will be avenged and the enemies will be punished.”

“O Yazid (la)! It is not becoming for you to swell with joy after slaying the Prophet (saw)’s progeny.

‘Reckon not those who are killed in Allah’s way as dead; nay, they are alive and are provided sustenance from their Lord; rejoicing in what Allah has given them out of His grace’ [3:169-170].”

“Allah is sufficient to deal with you. RasoolAllah (saw) is your adversary and Hazat Jibra’el (as) is our support and help against you.”

“Those who have made you the head of state and burdened the Muslims with your leadership will soon find out what awaits them. The end of all tyrants is agony.”

“O Yazid (la)! I speak not to you thus to warn you of the severe chastisement in store for you so that you should be regretful for you are one of those whose hearts are hardened, souls are rebellious and whose bodies are busy in Allah’s disobedience while they are under the curse of RasoolAllah (saw). You are from among those in whose heart Shaytan has made his abode and has been breeding his offspring.”

“How amazing it is that the virtuous people, sons of the divine prophets and successors are killed at the hands of liberated slaves, evil-doers and sinners. Our blood is shed by their hands and our flesh serves as food for them. We feel grieved for those whose bodies are lying unshrouded and unburied in the battlefield, wounded with arrows.”

“O Yazid (la), if you consider our defeat as your achievement then you will have to pay its price.” “Allah commits not injustice to His servants. Our reliance is on Allah. He alone is our Relief and place of Protection, and in Him alone do we repose our hope.”

“You may contrive and try however much you can. By Him who honoured us with revelation, the Book and Prophethood, you cannot achieve our status, nor reach our position, nor can you affect our mention, nor remove from yourself that shame and dishonour that is now your lot because of perpetrating excess and oppression on us. Your word now is weak and your days are counted. Beware of the day when the announcer would announce the curse of Allah on the oppressors and the unjust.”

“Praise be to Allah who gave good end to His friends and granted them success in their aims, and thereafter called them back to His Mercy, Pleasure and Bliss, while you hurled yourself into evil and mischief by committing injustice against them. We pray to Allah to favour us with full recompense through them and grant us the good of Khilafat and Imamat. Surely Allah is Kind and the Most Merciful over His creatures.”

Among the gathering was a red haired Syrian who saw Syeda Fatima (sa) Kubra, daughter of Imam Hussain (asws) and asked Yazid (la) to give her to him. When the girl heard this she clung to Syeda Zainab (sa) and started to weep. She feared that now after the loss of her father she was to be made a slave girl. Syeda Zainab (sa) was not afraid. She turned to Yazid (la) and told him that he had neither right nor authority to give the young girl away like that, at which he bristled, retorting that he could do so. Syeda Zainab (sa) replied, “You are abusing me because of your authority and power.” At this Yazid (la) was shamed into silence.

To the Syrian she said: “May the curse of Allah be upon you. May hell be your eternal abode. May your eyes be blinded and your limbs paralyzed.” Immediately paralysis gripped the man and he fell to the ground dead.

PoliticsPDP Is A Huge Disappointment As An Opposition Party by Elbinawi(op): 1:37pm On Oct 05, 2017
Sadly @OfficialPDPNig is a huge disappointment as an opposition party. They are all scared of the evil tyrant @MBuhari. @adeyanjudeji

President Buhari and his gang of mass murderers brutally slaughtered 1000+ innocent Nigerians in Zaria and PDP is silent to date.

Imagine if it was PDP in power that murdered 1000s innocent Nigerians! Imagine the noise that Buhari, Elrufai, Lia Mohammed etc will make!

Why can't opposition party PDP ask Buhari and Elrufai about the mass graves they dug and buried 1000+ innocent Nigerians they wickedly murdered?

Democracy is not working in Nigeria. A fraudulent and bloodthirsty APC ruling party and a clueless and scared PDP opposition party. Nigerians are the victims.
