#EidMiladunNabi Message: In the Quran God said that Prophet Muhammad (sa) was sent as a #Mercy to humanity. If you are a Muslim & you do not show Mercy for others then you are not a follower of Prophet Muhammad (sa). Muslims must show Mercy to all of humanity and not just to Muslims. Islam address the whole of humanity, Islam is not an Arabic religion. One of the evils of murderous Wahhabism cult is that they extricate Mercy and compassion from Islam and replaced them with hate and terrorism. #FreeZakzaky #ElbinawiTweets |
Police Disperse March for Prophet Muhammad In Kaduna . By Abdulmumin Giwa . Muslims commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad in Kaduna were dispersed by the Nigerian Police using life bullets and teargas when a peaceful march for Prophet Muhammad was fiercely attacked along Kano road by Lagos Street in the metropolis. . Without any warning the peaceful march for Prophet Muhammad was clampdown upon by the police casing traders to close down their shops in the affected area. . Although most of the participants were members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) who were also said to have been the organizers of the march, the Police were generally condemned by the public and accused of ant-Islamic acts depicting the government as the enemy of Prophet Muhammad. . Eye witnesses that spoke to newsmen said the police came with an enforcement of thugs carrying clubs and sticks with which they attacked some innocent persons suspected of being participants in the march after it had been dispersed. As at the time of compiling this report it was not clear how many people were injured or arrested by the police but the public was angered by the police action. . Seeking anonymity, an eye witness angrily said “It is now becoming clear that the government is hiding behind fighting the Shiites while in reality it is covertly fighting Islam and Muslims.” Another eye witness also said “It is wrong of the government to interfere in the issue of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad to the extent of clamping down on those commemorating it. It only depicts them as enemies of Prophet Muhammad.” . Earlier there were rumors doing the rounds in Kaduna that the state Governor Nasi El-Rufai had banned the commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad in the state especially in Zaria. Part of the rumor also said that he only allowed a rally to take place on Sunday at Murtala Square in the metropolis as against the annual march for Prophet Muhammad commemorated by Muslims across the country on the 12th of Rabi’ul Awwal (Friday, 01/12/2017). . When the police attacked the peaceful march for Prophet Muhammad otherwise called Maulud, the police took over the affected area from Ahmadu Bello Way along Kano Road for almost an hour thereby causing unnecessary tension on commuters and traders. |
#UnityWeek: Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (sa) In order to bridge the difference of Sunni and Shia Islam and use it as an opportunity to unite the ranks of Muslims, the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (qs) designated the period of Birth Anniversary celebrations of Prophet Muhammad (sa) from 12th to the 17th of Rabi al-Awwal as the Islamic Unity Week. Every year the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky organize multiple programs to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet (sa) in more than 50 towns and cities across Nigeria. The celebrations starts every year with colorful match procession by Shia and Sunni children in major Nigerian cities. IMN also invite our Christian brothers and sisters to the Milad-Ul-Naby celebrations. IMN is the only Muslim group in Nigeria that invite Christians to its programs and activities to foster tolerance, mutual understanding, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. All Muslims believed in the Prophethood and Messengership of Prophet Muhammad (sa), he is the common denominator of all Muslims therefore his Birth Anniversary should serve a unity platform for all Muslims. God sent Prophet Muhammad (sa) as a mercy to mankind. It is important that the qualities pillars of Islam of mercy, compassion, love and tolerance be expounded during such great occasion. Today Islam and Muslims face numerous challenges and threats and the most serious threat is the evil antics of Western imperialism and Global Zionism that desperately want to dominate Muslims, loot their resources and trigger a bloody sectarian Shia Vs Sunni war. It is not by accident but by design that the genocidal West is allied to the intolerant and bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages and the Saudi Wahhabi regime. Whenever the genocidal European savages needed bloodthirsty terrorists to kill innocent Muslims, rape Muslim women and girls and destroy Muslim towns and cities, the savage Saudi Wahhabi regime supply them. Today economic, scientific and technological backwardness is associated with Muslims. It is important for Muslim leaders to overcome these challenges. The genocide of oppressed Palestinian Muslims and Christians continue by the bloodthirsty Zionist savages in occupied Palestine. The inhuman and barbaric #RohingyahGenocide in Myanmar is on where the Burmese army rape Muslim women and girls and slaughter innocent Muslims at will. We should use the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet (sa) to highlight these problems and proffer solutions to them. The US President Donald Trump recently retweets three videos of anti-Islam hate to spread Islamophobia that threatens the lives of millions of Muslims in the West. In the past, leaders of the West hypocritically hide behind the cover of freedom, democracy and Human Rights to harm Muslims but the present US President Trump has brought everything to the open. Western Imperialism and Global Zionism created murderous Wahhabi terrorist groups using the Saudi regime as intermediary then accused Islam and Muslims of creating these murderous terrorist groups. It is not accidental that more than 90% of all the victims of murderous Wahhabi terrorism are innocent Muslims. The #UnityWeek2017 comes at a time when the US-sponsored #ISIS are defeated in the Middle East. This call for Muslim world wide celebrations. The wicked enemies of Islam created ISIS to destroy Muslim countries that will facilitate them to occupy Muslim countries and loot resources. On a final note, we pray for peace, progress and development to all Muslim countries and societies on the great occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (sa). We say to the wicked mass murderer Nigerian tyrant Buhari #FreeZakzaky and his wife from 23 months illegal detention incommunicado. Harun Elbinawi Elbinawi. elbinawi@yahoo.com |

I saw the 3 Tweets of Jayda Fransen that US President Donald Trump re-tweeted. Jayda Fransen belong to an extremist far-right anti-Islam group called "#BritainFirst". The videos were the brutality of murderous criminals & this hateful woman will attribute them to Islam. She feigned ignorance of the fact that there are murderous criminals in all religions and societies but the teachings of all Monotheist religions condemned such murderous criminality. We ask "Was Adolf Hitler of Germany a Muslim?" He was a Christian but do any Muslim ever accuse Christianity of the heinous crimes of Adolf Hitler? We all know that Christianity strongly condemned all the heinous crimes and atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler. For US President Trump to support such extreme Islamophobia underlined his status as an extreme enemy of Islam and Muslims. #KnowYourEnemy #ElbinawiTweets

A UK-based Nigerian activist, Adetutu Balogun @Tutsy22, made a Tweet Thread on Two years anniversary of the Zaria genocide by evil tyrant Buhari. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup Issa Thread. 1. Mass slaughter of hundreds of men, women and children by soldiers in Zaria and the attempted cover-up of this crime demonstrates an utter contempt for human life and accountability, said Amnesty International 2. as it publishes evidence gathered on the ground revealing how the Nigerian military burned people alive, razed buildings and dumped victims’ bodies in mass graves. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 3. The true horror of what happened over those two days in Zaria is only now coming to light. Bodies were left littered in the streets and piled outside the mortuary. Some of the injured were burned alive. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 4. The report, Unearthing the truth: Unlawful killings and mass cover-up in Zaria, contains shocking eyewitness testimony of large-scale unlawful killings by the NA and exposes a crude attempt by the authorities to destroy and conceal evidence. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 5. “Our research, based on witness testimonies and analysis of satellite images, has located one possible mass grave. It is time now for the military to come clean and admit where it secretly buried hundreds of bodies.” #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 6. More than 350 people are believed to have been unlawfully killed by the military between 12 and 14 December, following a confrontation between members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) and soldiers in Zaria, Kaduna state. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 7. The NA claimed that IMN supporters - some armed with batons, knives, and machetes - had refused to clear the road near their headquarters, the Hussainiyya, for a military convoy to pass. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 8. The army has claimed that IMN supporters attacked the convoy in an attempt to assassinate the Chief of Army Staff. IMN members deny this. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 9. Following an initial confrontation the military surrounded other locations where IMN supporters had gathered, notably at the residential compound of IMN leader Ibrahim Al-Zakzaky. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 10. Some people were killed as a result of indiscriminate fire. Others appeared to have been deliberately targeted. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 11. All available information indicates that the deaths of protesters were the consequence of excessive, and arguably, unnecessary use of force. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 12. Those who were badly injured and could not escape were burned alive. #ZariaMassacre #MilitaryCoverup 13. Zainab, a 16-year-old schoolgirl, told Amnesty Inter: “We were in our sch uniforms. My friend Nusaiba Abdullahi was shot in her forehead. We took her to a house where they treated the injured but, before reaching the house, she already died.” #zariamassacre #militarycoverup 14. A 10-year-old boy who was shot in the leg told Amnesty International how his older brother was shot in the head as they tried to leave the compound. “We went out to try to shelter in a nearby house but we got shot.” #zariamassacre #militarycoverup 15. On 13 December, two buildings within Ibrahim Al-Zakzaky’s compound, one of which was being used as a makeshift medical facility and mortuary, were attacked by soldiers. Alyyu, a 22-year-old student, told Amnesty International that he was shot in the chest outside the compound 16. and was taken inside for treatment: “There were lots of injuredpeople in several rooms. There were dead bodies in a room and also in the courtyard. Around 12-1pm soldiers outside called on people to come out, but people were too scared to go out. We knew they would kill us. 17. Soldiers threw grenades inside the compound. I saw one soldier on the wall of the courtyard shooting inside.” 18. One mother described a phone conversation with one of her 19-year-old sons before he was killed alongside his twin brother and their step brother and sister in the compound. “They are shooting those injured one by one,” he told her. 19. From far I could only see a big mound but when I got closer I saw it was a huge pile of corpses. I have never seen so many dead bodies. 20. As soldiers set fire to the makeshift medical facility in the compound that afternoon, Yusuf managed to escape despite serious gunshot wounds: “Those who were badly injured and could not escape were burned alive,” 21. he told Amnesty International. “I managed to get away from the fire by crawling on my knees until I reached a nearby house where I was able to hide until the following day. I don’t know how many of the wounded were burned to death. Tens and tens of them.” 22. Footage believed to have been shot on mobile phone by IMN supporters after the incident shows bodies with gunshot wounds as well as charred bodies strewn around the compound 23. After the incident the military sealed off the areas around al-Zakzaky’s compound, the Hussainiyya and other locations. Bodies were taken away, sites were razed to D ground, the rubble removed, bloodstains washed off, and bullets and spent cartridge removed from the streets. 24. Witnesses saw piles of bodies outside the morgue of Ahmadu Bello Univ Teaching Hospital in Zaria. A senior medical source told Amnesty International that the military sealed off the area around the morgue for 2 days. During that time he saw army vehicles “coming and going”. 25. A witness described to Amnesty International what he saw outside the hospital mortuary on the evening of 14 December: “It was dark and from far I could only see a big mound but when I got closer I saw it was a huge pile of corpses on top of each other. 26. I have never seen so many dead bodies. I got very scared and run away. It was a terrible sight and I can’t get it out of my mind.” 27. Another witness told the organisation how he had seen diggers excavating holes at the site of the suspected mass grave: “There were five or six large trucks and several smaller military vehicles and they spent hours digging and unloading the trucks’ cargo into the hole 28. they dug and then covered it again with the earth they had dug out. They were there from about 1 or 2 am until about 5 am. I don’t know what they buried. It looked like bodies, but I could not get near.” 29. Amnesty international identified and visited the location of a possible mass grave near Mando. Satellite images of the site taken on 2 November and 24 December 2015 show disturbed earth spanning an area of approximately 1000 square metres. 30. it is clear that the military not only used unlawful and excessive force against men, women and children, unlawfully killing hundreds, but then made considerable efforts to try to cover-up these crimes,” said Netsanet Belay. 31. The IMN claim a further 350 people who went missing during the incidents in Zaria remain unaccounted for. 32. During field research carried out in Kaduna state and FCT in February 2016, Amnesty International delegates interviewed 92 people, including victims and their relatives, eyewitnesses, lawyers and me 33. IMN leader Al-Zakzaky and his wife Zeinat Al-Zakzaky were arrested and held incommunicado. They were only allowed access to their lawyer for the first time on 1 April 2016, three and a half months after their arrest. 34. Amnesty International has not had access to those who remain in detention but has received information from medical sources that some of the detainees were not allowed access to necessary medical care for several weeks after their arrest. 35. Amnesty International is calling for those IMN supporters charged in connection with this incident to be tried promptly and fairly and for those still held in detention without charge to be either immediately charged or released. 36. This horror happened under President Muhammadu Buhari, just 7 months into his presidency. The same man APC sold to us as a democrat. #RIP zaria massacre victims, may God judge all perpetrators. |

APC On The Brink of a Precipice: Losing Its Pillars One After The Other By Abdulmumin Giwa 28/November /2017. It is not disputable that political parties have certain individual politicians in them that add value and prestige to them. Such politicians are seen generally as the pillars of such political parties that keep it standing. To clarify this point we could make reference to what happened to PDP when most of its stalwarts dumped the party prior to the 2015 elections. We all witnessed how former President Olusegun Obasanjo kept away from the PDP. The party virtually became empty and gave up. This also attracted a lot of other people away from the PDP some of who remained neutral and others joined the APC. By joining the APC, the prestige and dignity of the party was raised to a certain extent. The former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Waziri of Adamawa was among those who were celebrated for joining the APC and giving it hope and dignity in the eyes of the public. Just last week the APC was faced with the same cancer when a strong pillar of the party dumped it in protest against how it had failed the public and engaged Nigerians in untold hardship and hopelessness. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was bold enough to protest against the focuslessness and hopelessness of the APC which has no agenda in place that supersedes serious crimes against humanity, under-development, inflation, complex insecurity and religious fanaticism. Although for political reasons people might give a lot of meanings to the action of the former vice President but what he said about deceiving Nigerians is certainly true, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The Kaduna state Governor Nasir el-Rufai who was brought to limelight by Atiku but later betrayed him as usual was among the first people to respond to the action of the former VP. He claimed that Atiku’s action cannot threaten the chances of President Buhari’s reelection come 2019. There is nothing surprising about that anyway because he relies totally on President Buhari in achieving his political scorecards for now before he will finally betray him as he did to others in the past. He is only a cheap beneficiary of the blind support the party got in the name of supporting Buhari alone and whosoever is with Buhari. But everything is going to change because the people are on their way dumping Buhari and his true color will come to bare. Then the public will come to understand how El-Rufai betrayed even the IMN he is now fighting against and as he embraces the same Wahhabi/Salafis that voted against him in 2015. They printed pictures of him shaking hands with Sheikh Zakzaky when he visited him to condole him for the death of the first set of his three children killed by the Nigerian Army calling on their followers not to vote for him that he was Shiite. They are the same people around him today because they share the same objective of eliminating the Shiites. He betrayed Atiku in the past, he betrayed former President Olusegun Obasanjo who described him as a pathological liar and will most certainly betray President Buhari when the time comes. He is just like the leaders in the north who use the name of Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna of Sokoto any time they want to deceive the masses. It has become such that APC in northern Nigeria is now similar to belonging to Wahhabism/Salafism. Its leaders are at war with all other religious faiths within and outside Islam. They cannot tolerate other views or religious schools of thought. The APC regime had attacked and caused the forced disappearance of about 127 followers of the Tijjaniyya Sufi order at the Sheikh Ainoma Gaidam Islamic Center amongst who are 80 memorizers of the holy Quran. Their crime is clearly simply because they belonged to the Tijjaniyya Order. The APC regime is even fighting against the commemoration and celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad simply because those who practice it are not of the Wahhabi School of Thought. To make it clearer to those who are not Muslims, the APC is acting with fanaticism by supporting the idea of a state religion like a Catholic in power using his authority to fight against Anglicans and others. That is exactly what APC is doing. It is in the same spirit that it has murdered over 1000 citizens for belonging to the minority Shia school of thought under the Islamic Movement in Nigeria IMN, demolished their worship centers and jailed their leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. The APC regime continues in the way of crises spreading all sorts of lies using the hungry religious clerics and causing division and suspicion among Nigerians especially in the north. It is the same APC government that has closed down mosques and Islamic centers belonging to the Ashabul Kahfi under the Qadiriyya Sufi Order simply because they not Wahhabi/Salafists. The APC regime in the state also threatened te leader of the group Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara for no just course. It is also the same APC that has invited the Wahhabis to Nigeria and paid special visit to Saudi Arabia who have also opened the gates of the Ka’bah to the Nigeria’s APC regime. It is such that no Muslim in northern Nigeria is safe if he does not belong to the Wahhabi sects because he could be attacked any minute and molested for not supporting the APC regime. Apart from the sorrow, tears and blood it has caused hundreds of families in Nigeria who have lost their loved ones as a result of the actions or inactions of the APC regime many more have been forced into institutionalized poverty. Workers stay several months without remunerations in many states while inn other states the APC regime introduces stringent economic measures forcing people into untold hardships. The APC regime rules by impunity and does not have any regards for the judicial system unless it is in its interest. In Kaduna state, for no tenable and justifiable reason the Governor spent billions of naira claiming to be feeding pupils in schools in which over 100 pupils in a class mostly sit on the floor with no furniture under damaged roofs and others seat in temporary tents. In the same state about 22,000 teachers were sent packing, over 7,000 local government workers were sent packing, about 4,000 local chiefs were sent packing and some markets are set for demolition. More so, the APC regime has set a selective fight against corruption in which opponents of the regime are victimized. As a result of all these lack of civility by the APC in Nigeria especially in Northern Nigeria where anybody protesting or rallying against some policies of the regime is attacked and extra-judicially killed more and more people have lost hope in the regime. In the early days of the regime people were full of praises to the leadership but today everything has changed such that people now publicly condemn the regime and its incompetence. The public accuses the APC of telling lies to the public. They lied to them before they voted for them and now that they are not fulfilling their promises they are telling them lies to justify their lack of performance. The hospitals are now in worse states they have ever been before, education has deteriorated the more, jobs are more difficult to find, insecurity has increased especially on the side of kidnapping, armed robbery, political thugs, and even terrorism. Power supplies have worsened up, healthcare delivery services have deteriorated and more and more people are not only plunged into poverty but are also plunged into diseases and hunger all courtesy of the APC. Nigerians truly feel deceived and misguided by the APC and the party is already losing its pillars and is close to crashing down. Nigerians see the party more as an enemy than a savior as whenever they speak to the public they tell them lies, when they make promises to them they fail them and when the public trusts them they betray he public. Some of the leading APC in Nigeria are potential candidates of the International Criminal Court ICC in The Hague due to their role in the murder and forced disappearance of citizens in the country. What remains clear is that very soon more and more people would like to cleanse themselves of all these filth founded by the party and would have no choice but to dump the party and we shall see who will vote it back to power in 2019. |

PRESS CONFERENCE Two years of the horrendous Zaria massacre and the continued detention of Sheikh Zakzaky Ladies and gentlemen of the Press, good morning. INTRODUCTION The second anniversary of the brutal onslaught on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria and its leadership and properties is around us – an attack that left in its wake well over a thousand innocent persons either dead or missing, our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his wife and several hundred of our members being detained and several of our properties including residences, schools and Islamic centers demolished. The worst of all is that the persecution is still on-going, with no sign of abating at all. It appears as if it is the major project of the present government of Muhammadu Buhari. Our leader remains in detention without charges, virtually incommunicado for these two years, one year after a Federal High Court had declared his detention as unconstitutional, a breach of his rights and freedoms; and therefore ordered for his unconditional release. A BRIEF RECAP OF THE ARMY'S ASSAULT ON IMN It all started at noon on the 12th day of December, 2015 at our Islamic center called Hussainiyyah in Zaria. Soldiers of the Nigerian Army, using a well-rehearsed alibi shot and killed some people and kept a siege of the centre. They went on to invade Sheikh Zakzaky’s house that was situated about 5km from the Hussainiyyah at night on a murderous raid, where live and mortar bullets were fired on unarmed and defenceless civilians. That led to the death of hundreds. Women and children were not spared, the wounded were finished up and the dead were burnt. Some were even burnt alive. There was also deliberate targeting of reproductive organs for mutilation and sexual harassment. Several hundred were also taken alive and have not been seen ever since then. Almost simultaneously, soldiers who had maintained a siege of the Hussainiyyah Islamic centre since midday, now fully armed to the teeth, invaded the centre using the purpose-built sophisticated armoured personnel carrier. They fired live bullets on all the people at sight without warning. Scores were killed, several hundred were maimed. Again, the killing spree did not spare women, children and the wounded. There was also deliberate targeting of reproductive organs for mutilation and many persons were also taken drowned in their blood, presumed dead. It was the same story at Darur Rahma, a burial centre some 10km away in the outskirts of Zaria where some people took refuge. Virtually everyone there was murdered by these rampaging soldiers. The brutality at the neighbourhood of the Sheikh’s residence lasted almost for two days continuously, until the morning of Monday 14th December, 2015 after they had virtually killed every living being, when a sniper brought for the purpose took out the three remaining sons of the Sheikh, splashing a mixture of their brain tissue and blood all over their parents, before fatally shooting them both. The physical and mental torture Sheikh Zakzaky and the wife were made to face is unimaginable. They were next subjected to verbal abuses characterized by the soldiers chanting deriding war songs against the Sheikh and Shia Islamic faith as they were humiliatingly ferried in a denigrating manner. There is no question that it was well pre-planned and brutishly executed. The leader of the IMN resorted to approaching the Court to demand for the enforcement of his fundamental rights. The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ruled that his detention was unconstitutional and a gross violation of his fundamental human rights. It therefore ordered for his immediate release and gave a fine of N25million to each of him and his wife for wrongful detention. About one year after that landmark judgement, the government continues to contemptuously detain him and the wife. He is being so detained for over 700 days now with very limited access to lawyers or doctors. There are very disturbing reports of his failing state of health and the deteriorating health condition of his wife as well. His lead lawyer, Femi Falana SAN has been shouting himself hoarse in the call for the release of the duo on health grounds to no avail. PRESIDENCY’S EXCUSE Anytime the clamour for the release of the Sheikh gains a renewed vigour, the Presidency comes up with spurious excuses for his unjustifiable continued detention against reason, the rule of law and justice. Some of the lame excuses thus far proffered by the Presidency include that he is being kept more “for his own safety” than the offences he committed; he is not in a typical prison condition; he is in protective custody or that “nobody wants to accept him as a neighbour.” Indeed the continuous detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky for almost two years without charges is a sour point in the human rights rating of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. THE VARIOUS BOARDS OF INQUIRY AND IMN Being a pre-planned attack, it was embedded in the scheme of things to pretend to be making efforts at finding the truth about what really happened in Zaria. While the Presidency initially said it was a purely “military affair”, it later agreed that a commission of inquiry will be set up, but only the Kaduna state government, where the incident happened could set up such an inquiry. When Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state set up the Judicial Commission of Inquiry, it became obvious that it was not meant to unearth the truth. El-Rufai had virtually passed a verdict of guilty against the Islamic Movement prior to setting up the Commission. The composition of that Commission eventually gave away the desired outcome as it included several persons openly known to be critical of the Movement, its leadership and beliefs. Some even authored tens of books calling for annihilation of the Movement. There was also a deliberate attempt by the Commission to exclude taking testimony from Sheikh Zakzaky and the other members of the Movement who were being detained. The odds were against the Movement and we had to withdraw participation. Even at that, there was a confession of a mass grave where 347 of our members were said to have been buried secretly at night, nearly a 100km away from where the extra-judicial killings took place. This is a clearly a crime against humanity by all international standards. The Commission still reported that a massacre took place. It said the military did not abide by its laws of engagement or international laws of proportionality. It frowned at military’s non-cooperation with the commission, which restricted its ability to ascertain the exact number of lives lost. The Commission never established any wrongdoing against the Islamic Movement. In fact it said that the widely held and reported belief that the Movement is heavily armed was found not to be correct. Yet, the El-Rufai’s so-called White Paper, absolved the military of any blame or wrongdoing and declared the Islamic Movement as an unlawful society. What other proof does one need to be convinced that the whole project was pre-conceived? Meanwhile, several Human Rights groups carried out their own independent investigations and concluded that the Nigerian Army carried out massive extrajudicial killing of unarmed civilians in Zaria, and took deliberate steps at hiding the evidence. You can crosscheck their findings at their respective websites. We have compiled a detailed report of everything that happened and submitted to the International Criminal Court at The Hague. They have since announced that they have opened preliminary investigations into the matter. In the meantime, the Presidency made a U-turn on the question of inquiry. It set up the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate cases of human rights abuse by the Nigerian military. We had our reservations about the motive of the sudden about-turn, the composition of the panel and how it was going to overcome the flaws noticed at the Kaduna Commission of Inquiry. We wrote a letter to the President and expressed our concerns, and also published in paid advertorials in some dailies. Notwithstanding our observations and concerns, we still submitted a memo and were prepared to fully participate. The problem started when signs to suggest lack of independence started showing up at the Panel. Our request to have Sheikh Zakzaky to appear before the panel to testify was only reluctantly granted after so long a period the panel was waiting for “permission” from those who were accomplices to the gross abuse of his rights. When the request was eventually granted, they were intent on taking his testimony in camera, where a lot of their atrocities can be kept hidden from public scrutiny. On the basis of this lack of independence and the credibility crisis the Panel was facing, the Islamic Movement withdrew further participation from the Panels proceedings. CONTINUED PERSECUTION AND DENIAL OF OUR RELIGIOUS RIGHTS It is unfortunate that within these difficult two years, the Islamic Movement has continued to be persecuted and denied our religious rights. This is very prominent in Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Plateau and the Federal Capital, Abuja. It is more stern in some places more that in others. For two consecutive years, Governor Ganduje of Kano state has been brutally attacking our solemn religious trek, resulting in the deaths of several people. In a monitored report, he confessed to being the person who ordered the attack. Several others arrested are facing trial for alleged sundry offences. The same situation is playing out in Sokoto state under Governor Tambuwal. Only a few days ago we issued a press statement on the issue in Sokoto, stating that we would hold Tambuwal responsible for any attack on any member of the Islamic Movement in Sokoto or our property. In Kaduna, the situation remains grave. We are being completely denied any rights. Our schools are being demolished. We cannot practice our faiths. Our plots are being illegally trespassed by government and its agencies. We are endangered in Kaduna. The situation in Katsina and Plateau states remain dire after last year’s Ashura attacks and killings. THE CLAMOUR FOR IMN BAN There has been a renewed clamour for a ban on Islamic Movement in Nigeria. Ever since Kaduna State Governor, Nasiru El-Rufai pronounced the Movement as a so-called unlawful society, many phantom CSOs and rented crowd have been used to campaign for this. It is noteworthy that even El-Rufai has not advanced any proof to justify his position. We are a religious Movement and not an organization or a society. There is nowhere it is written that you require any government’s permit before you practice your faith, singly or in communion with others, or to propagate it. This is our constitutional rights and we are not going to cede them. How many people or places have we bombed? All terrorist organisations are known for their violence. Who have we ever attacked or killed? Even in the face of severe persecution, we have never ever retaliated. Since the inception of the Movement four decades ago, nobody can ascribe violence in any way to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. We are always the oppressed, and not the oppressors. So how does the victim become the villain? Hence the terrorist robe can’t be thrown at us. The hunting dogs being sent to bark will in no way derail us or detract us from standing to demand for our rights. WE HAVE RECORDED SUCCESSES In the last two years, the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has recorded remarkable successes. We stuck to the path of peaceful seeking of redress through the legal system. Last year Justice Kolawole of the Federal High Court in Abuja ruled that the detention of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife is unconstitutional. This remarkable achievement has shown that it is the government that is violating the law and failure to obey the court judgement has meant that the government of Buhari has been committing illegalities. Secondly, only a few weeks ago we recorded yet another legal success in the Kaduna state High Court, which discharged and acquitted all those who stood trial before it in relation to the Zaria massacre protest. This further vindicates us. There are several other successes but one worthy of mention is that our resolve remains stout. We shall not relent. The struggle to free Sheikh Zakzaky is our every move, every turn, every blink, every act, every thought, everywhere, every time and everything. Free Zakzaky is our way of life. OUR DEMANDS Finally, our demands remain as always the immediate release of Sheikh Zakzaky, his wife and all the hundreds being detained in various detention facilities across the country. Secondly, we demand that the corpses of all those killed, including those in the mass graves, must be exhumed and returned to us for identification and befitting burial according to Islamic rites. Thirdly, all our confiscated properties must be returned to us and destroyed properties adequately compensated for. Fourthly, we still demand an open, independent and impartial inquiry to unearth the truth. Such an inquiry must have as members, persons with credible character, and there must be full participation of internationally accepted human rights groups as observers. All those found to be responsible either in the planning or execution of these horrendous attacks must be brought to book, irrespective of their status. Lastly, we call on the international community, and especially the UN, EU, AU, ECOWAS and the ICC to add more pressure on the government to live up to its responsibilities as regards to the issue of the Islamic Movement in general and Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky in particular or be prepared to be ostracized and convicted. We remain very appreciative of all those who have come out to identify with us in our struggles. We appreciate those who for the past two years have stood by us in rain and in sunshine. May Allah reward them abundantly. Thank you and God bless. SIGNED BY: Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello Free Zakzaky Campaign Committee Wednesday, 22nd November 2017. |
Shi’ites Drag Buhari, FG To UN, EU, AU Over Zakzaky, Others, Want Independent Inquiry Into 2015 Zaria Massacre November 22, 2017 By; ISAAC ODEH, Kaduna The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), popularly known as Shi’ites has once again called on the international community to compel President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Government to let justice prevail in the issue of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and the movement in general. The call was made at a media briefing titled ‘Two years of the horrendous Zaria massacre and the continued detention of Sheikh Zakzaky’ by Free Zakzaky Campaign Committee, headed by Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello in Kaduna on Wednesday. “We call on the international community, and especially the UN, EU, AU, ECOWAS and the ICC to add more pressure on the government to live up to its responsibilities as regards to the issue of the Islamic Movement in general and Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky in particular or be prepared to be ostracized and convicted. IMN said that it still demands an open, independent and impartial inquiry to unearth the truth, from the incident in Zaria in December 2015. “Such an inquiry must have as members, persons with credible character, and there must be full participation of internationally accepted human rights groups as observers. All those found to be responsible either in the planning or execution of these horrendous attacks must be brought to book, irrespective of their status,” it added. The group demanded the immediate release of Sheikh Zakzaky, his wife and all the hundreds being detained in various detention facilities across the country. “Secondly, we demand that the corpses of all those killed, including those in the mass graves, must be exhumed and returned to us for identification and befitting burial according to Islamic rites. Thirdly, all our confiscated properties must be returned to us and destroyed properties adequately compensated for,” he said. The group said that the second anniversary of the brutal onslaught on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria and its leadership and properties is around around the corner, an attack it described as that which left in its wake well over a thousand innocent persons either dead or missing. “Our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his wife and several hundred of our members being detained and several of our properties including residences, schools and Islamic centers demolished. The worst of all is that the persecution is still on-going, with no sign of abating at all. It appears as if it is the major project of the present government of Muhammadu Buhari. Our leader remains in detention without charges, virtually incommunicado for these two years, one year after a Federal High Court had declared his detention as unconstitutional, a breach of his rights and freedoms; and therefore ordered for his unconditional release,” he pointed out. Sheikh Abdulhamid said that anytime the clamour for the release of the Sheikh gains a renewed vigour, the Presidency comes up with spurious excuses for his unjustifiable continued detention against reason, the rule of law and justice. “Some of the lame excuses thus far proffered by the Presidency include that he is being kept more “for his own safety” than the offences he committed; he is not in a typical prison condition; he is in protective custody or that “nobody wants to accept him as a neighbour.” “Indeed the continuous detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky for almost two years without charges is a sour point in the human rights rating of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration,” he stressed. He recalled that the attack which he said was premeditated, started at noon on the 12th day of December, 2015 at their Islamic center called Hussainiyyah in Zaria. “Soldiers of the Nigerian Army, using a well-rehearsed alibi shot and killed some people and kept a siege of the centre. They went on to invade Sheikh Zakzaky’s house that was situated about 5km from the Hussainiyyah at night on a murderous raid, where live and mortar bullets were fired on unarmed and defenceless civilians. That led to the death of hundreds. “Women and children were not spared, the wounded were finished up and the dead were burnt. Some were even burnt alive. There was also deliberate targeting of reproductive organs for mutilation and sexual harassment. Several hundred were also taken alive and have not been seen ever since then. “Almost simultaneously, soldiers who had maintained a siege of the Hussainiyyah Islamic centre since midday, now fully armed to the teeth, invaded the centre using the purpose-built sophisticated armoured personnel carrier. They fired live bullets on all the people at sight without warning. Scores were killed, several hundred were maimed. Again, the killing spree did not spare women, children and the wounded. “There was also deliberate targeting of reproductive organs for mutilation and many persons were also taken drowned in their blood, presumed dead. It was the same story at Darur Rahma, a burial centre some 10km away in the outskirts of Zaria where some people took refuge. Virtually everyone there was murdered by these rampaging soldiers. “The brutality at the neighbourhood of the Sheikh’s residence lasted almost for two days continuously, until the morning of Monday 14th December, 2015 after they had virtually killed every living being, when a sniper brought for the purpose took out the three remaining sons of the Sheikh, splashing a mixture of their brain tissue and blood all over their parents, before fatally shooting them both. “The physical and mental torture Sheikh Zakzaky and the wife were made to face is unimaginable. They were next subjected to verbal abuses characterized by the soldiers chanting deriding war songs against the Sheikh and Shia Islamic faith as they were humiliatingly ferried in a denigrating manner. There is no question that it was well pre-planned and brutishly executed,” he alleged. Speaking further, he explained that the leader of the IMN resorted to approaching the Court to demand for the enforcement of his fundamental rights. “The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ruled that his detention was unconstitutional and a gross violation of his fundamental human rights. It therefore ordered for his immediate release and gave a fine of N25million to each of him and his wife for wrongful detention. About one year after that landmark judgement, the government continues to contemptuously detain him and the wife. “He is being so detained for over 700 days now with very limited access to lawyers or doctors. There are very disturbing reports of his failing state of health and the deteriorating health condition of his wife as well. His lead lawyer, Femi Falana SAN has been shouting himself hoarse in the call for the release of the duo on health grounds to no avail,” he added. He said that the various boards of enquiry based on composition, were not fair to the group. “Being a pre-planned attack, it was embedded in the scheme of things to pretend to be making efforts at finding the truth about what really happened in Zaria. While the Presidency initially said it was a purely “military affair”, it later agreed that a commission of inquiry will be set up, but only the Kaduna state government, where the incident happened could set up such an inquiry. #MubiMosqueBombing Nigerians should imagine the mindset of those who sent suicide bombers to a Mosque to kill as many innocent worshippers as possible. This is the mindset of the savage Saudi regime. This is the mindset of President @MBuhari, @elrufai, Buratai and gang. Prominent Nigerian activist, @adeyanjudeji, was shocked when the head of President @MBuhari's bodyguards, commander Brigade of Guards, vomited anti-Shia venom in his presence when he organized #FreeZakzaky protests in Abuja. These murderous criminals are full of hate. It was this kind of #ISIS & #BokoHaram mindset that made Buhari, Elrufai, Buratai and murderous gang to bury Shia children and pregnant women alive in Mando mass grave. Bloodthirsty Wahhabi mindset of extreme savagery & wickedness. Heartfelt condolences to the families of victims of Mubi bomb attack & speeding recovery of all the injured! God destroy murderous terrorists, their masters, their supporters and murderous criminals @MBuhari, @elrufai, Buratai and gang! #ZariaGenocide #FreeZakzaky #ElbinawiTweets |
*By eradicating US-backed ISIS you helped not only Muslims but also the mankind* _The Leader of the Revolution's penned a message in response to Major General Qasem Soleimani‘s letter on the termination of ISIS_ In the name of God, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful: I thank the Almighty God, from the depths of my heart, for having blessed you and your colleagues’ selfless endeavors against the vicious entity of ISIS, which was established by a tyrannical power of the world, and it was eradicated in Syria and Iraq by your hands: the pious servants of God. This was not only a blow to that cruel and notorious group, ISIS. It was a blow to the unscrupulous politicians that pursued igniting civil wars in the region, destroying anti-zionist resistance, and weakening independent states through ill-fated leaders of this deceitful group. It was a blow to the current and former United States government and their dependent regimes in the region, who created this group, and sought, in every way, to expand their abominable hegemony in the Western Asian region to strengthen the occupying Zionist regime's grip on it. By destroying this cancerous tumor, you rendered a great favor, not just to the countries in the region and the world of Islam, but to all nations and all of humanity. This was a divine reward, a true example of the ayat "You didn't shoot the arrow, but Allah did" (Qur'an), given to you and your soldiers for your continuous efforts for God. I sincerely congratulate you, nevertheless, I insist on not neglecting the enemy's mischief. Those who plotted and funded this sinister conspiracy will not sit still; and, they will try to revive it in another part of the region or in some other way. Maintaining motivation, staying alert, preserving unity, removing any dangerous elements, and maintaining cultural insightful work, in sum, all-encompassing preparations must not be forgotten. I pray to God that He protect you and all the mujahid brothers from Iraq, Syria, and other countries: I express my utmost gratitude and best regards to all of you. Peace and God's blessing be upon you, Sayyed Ali Khamenei November 21, 2017 |
Leaked DSS Secret Memo Reveals Queer Hatred for, and Profound Ignorance of Anything IMN A leaked secret memo by the National headquarter of Department of State Services (DSS) reveals the remarkable queer hatred the security outfit bears against the Islamic Movement in Nigeria IMN as well as the profound ignorance of its so-called intelligence officers when it comes to anything pertaining to the Movement. In a memo DSS/DR.I/17/11/04 dated 4th November, 2017 and tagged “Daily Information Summary”, the DSS rightly observed that “Shiites intensify campaign for release of their national leader, El Zakzaky”, but then goofed widely as it erroneously but mischievously said that the leadership of the group has “directed its members nationwide to arm themselves in readiness for possible confrontation with security forces.” The misleading memo said that IMN has been mobilizing its members for an event, which they claimed would be in two batches to be held simultaneously from Kano to Zaria and also from Zaria to Abuja. Referring to our just concluded Annual ArbaeenTrekNigeria, the DSS misleadingly wrote that it is characterized by violent clashes with other security agencies or innocent citizens. This however contradicts reality as the annual trek since its inception had always been very peaceful. Even in 2015 after the DSS sent two “suicide bombers” to detonate their lethal load along the Kano axis resulting in the death of scores of IMN members only a few days before the brutal attacks of Zaria, the trek proceeded and ended peacefully. Contrary to the claim by the DSS in the memo that IMN is desperate to target security forces as a revenge for perceived injustice against our members, we have never employed any violent method to seek redress for all the two years of brazen persecution by the security forces including killing and maiming thousands of our members. We challenge them to bring single evidence where IMN targeted any security outfit ever. Rather, the IMN has embarked on massive peaceful processions and the use of the legal system. The memo ended by noting the resolve of IMN to continue its campaign against the Federal Government and its law enforcement agencies which they said may persist in the coming weeks ahead. It said that they will collaborate with other security agencies to “frustrate” our plans. It will be recalled that the National Security Adviser had similarly misinformed the National Economic Council some time back that the activities of the IMN are among their government’s serious security challenges, which according to his laughable assertion was sequel to “evaluation of intelligence reports.” The successful and peaceful completion of the Ashura processions that held in more than sixty different towns across the country and the success of the Arbaeen trek in spite of the upsurge of persecution however have put to shame the Nigerian government and all its security agencies, who are harbingers of doom with their so-called “intelligence reports.” Certainly, IMN will not relent in following all lawful ways to ensure Sheikh Zakzaky and all those still being illegally detained by DSS and all the other government agencies are unconditionally released. IMN will also not cede any of the rights and freedoms of its members, irrespective of the amount of blackmail and severe persecution.

RABI-UL-AWWAL 1439AH (2017AD) Prophet Muhammad (sa) was born in the 3rd month of the Islamic calendar, Rabi-ul-Awwal. Shia Muslims the world over & non-Wahhabi Sunnis use the entire month of Rabi-ul-Awwal to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of the best of Creation. Western-backed bloodthirsty Saudi-sponsored Wahhabi savages condemned celebrations of Birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (sa) & they usually send their murderous terrorists #ISIS, #BokoHaram, #AlQaeda, Buhari's terrorists etc to attack Muslim faithfuls celebrating Moulud Naby. Every year the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky organize Moulud Naby celebration that start with the Flag changing ceremony at the destroyed Zaria Husseiniyya. The Black Flag of mourning dropped & Flag of Moulud Naby raised. On 12th Dec 2015 the Flag changing ceremony was about to take place when wicked mass murderer tyrant Buhari sent his murderous terrorists @HQNigerianArmy and they brutally slaughtered 1000+ innocent Nigerians & dumped bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. We should remember that two weeks before the inhuman #ZariaGenocide by Buhari, the leader of #BokoHaram terrorists, Abubakar Shekau, threatened Sheikh Zakzaky and Nigerian Shia community with genocide. Buhari executed that threat by the brutal massacre of 1000+ Shia civilians. Public lectures, conferences, workshops and colorful children processions are some of the activities of Moulud Naby celebration by #IMN. Christians are always invited to these Moulud Naby celebrations. God sent Prophet Muhammad (sa) as a #Mercy to humanity. Happy Moulud Naby! #ElbinawiTweets

Thread: Governor @AWTambuwal of Sokoto state is hell bent on #ShiaGenocide in Sokoto State. He is one of the state governors recruited by the Savage Saudi regime to massacre Shia civilians in Nigeria. @IntlCrimCourt @zinadabo @ProfOsinbajo @Osman_Marwa1 @khamenei_ir @Tutsy22 Governor @AWTambuwal woefully failed to provide good governance to the oppressed people of Sokoto state. He want to use the #Shia_persecution card to win re-election in 2019. Tambuwal is a wicked bloodthirsty Wahhabi vampire who love the blood of Shia children. @adeyanjudeji Governor @AWTambuwal that can not provide sitting equipment for public school pupils in Sokoto State went and bought N700 million house for the Sultan of Sokoto. A conduit pipe of looting public treasury. This treasury thief is thirsty for Shia blood to please his Saudi masters. The international community should hold Governor @AWTambuwal responsible for any loss of lives of the peaceful Shia community in Sokoto State & the destruction of their properties. We ask how much is the Saudi regime paying Tambuwal for #ShiaGenocide? @OfficialPDPNig @APCNigeria #ElbinawiTweets |
PRESS STATEMENT *GOV. TAMBUWAL WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ATTACK ON IMN IN SOKOTO* We are in the know that the Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Tambuwal has consented to a grand plot to stage a massive crackdown on IMN and its members in Sokoto state. This will involve massive killing of members, including women and children, as well as wanton destruction of properties that will include residential houses and business premises. In preparation of this therefore, series of secret meetings were held in and out of the state, wherein it was decided by the conveners of the meetings that the incumbent Governor will only get a second term if his government is seen to be fighting Shia tooth and nail. It is reckoned that his government's scorecard in terms of developmental projects is nothing to write home about, hence the only bait is to be seen to adopt a stern anti-Shia posture. It is in pursuance of such a devilish scheme that the government has since last month been using the state police comman17to harass and intimidate IMN members as they go about their religious observances. There was even a public announcement purportedly banning the activities of IMN in the state. Only last week, a faceless organisation called Mabera Magaji Community was contracted to write a petition to the state police commissioner demanding the immediate demolition or relocation of the house of a prominent leader of IMN, claiming that those in its neighborhood no longer feel safe. The Islamic movement in Nigeria (IMN) will like to categorically remind the Governor that a second term will not be guaranteed merely by fighting Shi’a in the state. What it will certainly guarantee him rather is the wrath of Allah, for the Shia in the state have not broken any law. A cursory look at his predecessor, Senator Wamakko, should prove to him that persecution of Shia does not pay anyone in the long run. He killed and maimed, he imprisoned hundreds and massively destroyed their properties and above all, he framed up charges against several others and wrongly detained them. Yet the courts discharged and acquitted the Shiites and awarded damages against the state government, which is yet to be paid. Meanwhile, Shias remain and are waxing stronger in Sokoto, much beyond his misrule. And definitely the court of the Lord of the worlds awaits him as well, sooner or later. It is therefore pertinent that Governor Tambuwal tread with caution on this sectarian fight. He will be held responsible for any attack on IMN members, leaders and properties in Sokoto state. Those behind the faceless organisation called Mabera Magaji Community, should know that IMN members are equally bonafide indigenes of Sokoto. The letter to the CP only exposed their intolerance because they failed to cite a single criminal activity carried out by IMN members in their midst to make them feel unsafe. Let it be clear that Shia members in Mabera, like in all others in parts of Sokoto state and the country at large, are peace loving and responsible members of their communities. There is simply no reason to malign them on the prodding of some mischief makers. IMN members in Mabera in particular have always conducted themselves peacefully, respecting the rights of neighbors. Yet the Sokoto state government wants to turn the hitherto peaceful neighbourhood into a war theatre. Finally, we loudly call on Governor Tambuwal to let peace reign in the state and allow all citizens to enjoy the freedoms guaranteed them in the Constitution. As a lawyer, we hope he will at least respect this aspect of the laws of the country. SIGNED BY IBRAHIM MUSA PRESIDENT MEDIA FORUM OF IMN Skype: ibrahim.musa42 19/11/17 |
#AnambraDecides2017 Elections in Anambra state have come & gone and #IPOB called for total boycott was partially successful. Take Njikoka Local Government Area as example: Registered Voters - 88,793 Total Vote Cast - 28,297 Total Vote Not Cast - 60,000+ Some off-record material suggested that parties in #AnambraElections2017 will have spent about N20bn or over $65m. Money played a huge part in the elections. Hungry & Buhari's impoverished Nigerians were offered money for their votes. Buhari's @APCNigeria spent most to buy votes. The grave implication of money-for-votes politics is that the corrupt politicians are making an "investment". They will use few thousands to buy your votes then steal Billions of your money and deny you the much needed progress and development. The vicious cycle keep on repeating... Some #IPOB activists approached me last year for support in Online Activism. I told them I strongly condemned the inhuman massacres of Igbo youths by wicked mass murderer Buhari. I told them I will campaign for the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, but I oppose #BiafraExit. I will not support the move of our Igbo brothers and sisters leaving Nigeria. I was born and brought up in Kaduna, I grew up with Igbos as classmates, neighbors and friends. My Igbo childhood friends used to visit my Mum in Kaduna until her death. She considered them her sons.. On Eids (Sallah) occasions our Igbo family friends use to visit our family house in Kaduna to be lavished with food and drinks. I reciprocate the visits on Christmas occasion. They offered everything but they always say "No alcoholic drinks for him. He is Uztaz!" We campaigned against the hate speeches against Islam, Muslims, Hausa, Fulani and Yoruba tribes by #IPOB and thank God they stopped. We are brothers and sisters in humanity, we are Africans, we are Blacks, we are neighbors and friends then why the hate? No hate speeches!!! It was not Islam, Muslims, or Hausa, Fulani and Yoruba tribes that brutally murdered 200+ Igbo youths in the South East. They were brutally slaughtered by wicked mass murderer tyrant Buhari & his murderous gang. @MBuhari is absolute evil! Majority of the 1000+ Shia children, women and men that Buhari murdered in Zaria were from the Hausa/Fulani tribe. One of them, Dr. Mustapha Saed, was a direct descendant of Sheikh Uthman Ibn Fodio but Buhari murdered him and his 3 university undergraduate children. #ElbinawiTweets |
OPEN LETTER TO THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT THROUGH ITS EMBASSY IN PRETORIA The Media Review Network (MRN) is gravely concerned at the naivety and arrogance of the new leadership in the House of Saud, led by the young and inexperienced Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman (MBS). He demonstrates all the immaturity of a reckless gambler. Saudi Arabia’s failure to institute regime change in Syria through the defeat of its proxy terror militias, its devastation of Yemen and massacres against civilians, and fear for Hezbollah and Iran, has aligned it to the Islam-hating USA and Israel, against Muslims. The human rights record of Saudi Arabia has come under the spotlight and has been severely criticised by Amnesty International and Human rights Watch. The arrest of scores of princes, religious leaders, businessmen and ministers without access to a fair trial is an abuse of human rights demanded by international law, and To begin with the Saudi judiciary is not independent. Its sense of judgement are subject to the whims of the state. This abuse of human rights and the absence of justice are immune to any criticism from the US and the west. Areas in which your government has adopted aggressive and warlike policies is also concerning. Your support for the rebel forces in Syria and your lead role within the Arab Coalition attacking the poorest nation in the region, Yemen, must be widely condemned. Your insistence on isolating Qatar, is also deplorable, to say the least. MBS’s latest gamble is his open provocation of a war with Iran via Lebanon and Hezbollah. It is clearly obvious that MBS is acting on behalf of his master’s voice, the USA and Israel. Muslims around the world will find it difficult to give credence to your self-appointment as the Custodian of the Two Haramain as long as your mode of governance remains oppressive and in violation of all internationally accepted norms. THE MRN urges the “Saudi” government to urgently reconsider its subservience to its Zionists and Imperialists masters, or we fear the wrath of the Almighty will descend upon them . Buhari worst than murderous #BokoHaram: "Global Terrorism Index ranks Nigeria as the third most terrorised nation in the world…behind #Iraq and #Afghanistan." -News While Iraqi & Afghan Govts do not massacre their citizens & dump the bodies in mass graves, in #Nigeria @MBuhari brutally murdered 1000+ Shia civilians. On 27th Nov 2015 #BokoHaram leader, Abubakar Shekau, threatened Sheikh Zakzaky and Nigerian Shia community with genocide. Two weeks later President Buhari brutally slaughtered 1000+ Shia children, women and men in Zaria. The evil mindset of President Buhari & #BokoHaram leader is one & the same. They are bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages that have #ShiaGenocide as a global agenda. Buhari using @HQNigerianArmy & @PoliceNG to massacre Shiites on behalf of BokoHaram. While in Iraq and Afghanistan murderous Wahhabi terrorists are killing the innocent, in Nigeria @MBuhari's terrorists @HQNigerianArmy & #BokoHaram terrorists are both killing innocent Nigerians. Buhari is worst than BokoHaram terrorists. #FreeZakzaky #ElbinawiTweets

What is happening in #Zimbabwe: A military coup took place in Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe is a great son of Africa but he overstayed his hold on power which was very unfortunate. With old age Robert Mugabe became tool of corrupt cronies. I will remember Robert #Mugabe as a great African freedom fighter who boldly recovered stolen African lands from genocidal European savages. He returned stolen lands to the indigenous owners. What South Africans have failed to do. #Zimbabwe Arrogant and genocidal West hate Robert Mugabe not because of freedom or democracy, they hate him because he recovered stolen African lands from genocidal European savages. As an African Robert Mugabe is a Hero to me but he overstayed. I hope those who seized power in #Zimbabwe are not tools of genocidal European savages who are desperate to reverse the great achievements of Robert Mugabe. Africans must understand that arrogant European savages are their enemies who are after their rich resources. #ElbinawiTweets |
Video of IPOB threats against Buhari: I just saw a video of masked #IPOB youths threatening the wicked mass murderer tyrant @MBuhari on his intended visit to the South East #PMBinSE. They warned that he will not return alive! The bloodthirsty mass murderer tyrant Buhari brutally murdered 200+ Igbo youths and as usual wickedly dumped their dead bodies in mass graves. Buhari though killing the innocent will kill agitation for #Biafra. The inhuman killings made the #BiafraExit agitation popular. An ancient Korean General said his famous sword is not meant for killing. It is meant to protect what he love. Evil tyrant Buhari thought the @HQNigerianArmy & @PoliceNG are meant to kill innocent Nigerians not protect and defend them. It is with this savage thinking that Buhari sent the Army to Zaria where they brutally murdered 1000+ Shia children, women and men. They destroyed the iconic Zaria Husseiniyya which is a symbol of Shia Islam. Ignorant Buhari think he will live forever. Bloodthirsty Buhari is ignorant of the fact that he is old and will die anytime soon and will leave his wife and children in this world to live among those he brutally murdered their children, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, uncles etc. #Evil does not pay, ever! The #IPOB threats against mass murderer tyrant Buhari shows that not every leader is like the #Patient_Sheikh_Zakzaky. If Buhari kill the children of others today, one day they will hunt for his children to kill. Killing of the innocent is the most heinous of all crimes. #ElbinawiTweets |
THE UNFOLDING COUP IN ARABIA By Simon Templar Have you seen the ending of the 1972 movie, "The Godfather"? It brilliantly showed the bloody scenes of the "takeover" of the Mafia by Michael Corleone (Al Pacino). One by one, all the bosses of the rival families are killed and removed until all opposition is gone and the Corleone family's control over Mafia is complete. Something very similar is happening right now in Saudi Arabia as I am writing these lines. In just less than two days, 49 influential Saudis have been arrested which include 11 members of the Royal family. Among them is Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal who happens to be the richest Saudi prince and businessmen and also one of the top 50 richest and most influential businessmen in the world. As if that was not intriguing enough, a helicopter carrying several Saudi officials, including Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Al Saud, has crashed in the kingdom's southwest near the border with Yemen. Prince Mansour was the son of the former crown prince of Saudi Arabia and was a very influential man in the Kingdom. According to many, if things were normal, he would have been the future king of Saudi Arabia. What's going on? For that we have to go back in time, to see how the ascension to the Saudi throne has been working in the past. The first King of Saudi Arabia was Abdulaziz ibn Al Saud. He conquered his ancestral region of Nejd (central Saudi Arabia) and Hejaz (Western Coast of Saudi Arabia that includes the two holy cities) and became the king of this newly created kingdom called Saudi Arabia. After him one by one his sons became kings. This was a unique system in which the sons of the first king took turns one after another. Everyone knew who will be the king and who will be the crown prince. It was a very stable system but only in a short term. Because although the first king had a long line of sons, it had to end someday. It was inevitable that one day when all the sons of the first king will die or grow extremely old, then the question will arise that in whose family-line the kingship will be transferred? As more time passed, more uncertainty and rivalry grew among the princes and family-lines of various former kings of Saudi Arabia. The current official estimate of the members of the Royal house of Saud is around 15000 princelings, among them many debauche, deviant, cruel and abnormal. In 2015, when the present King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud came to power, he was the 25th son of the first king and already 79 years old. Like his older brothers before him, he appointed his younger brother Muqrin bin Abdulaziz as the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. It was understood that after Salman, Prince Muqrin will be king. And it was becoming increasingly likely that after Muqrin, no son of the first king will be around or fit enough to rule the Kingdom. Hence the throne will most probably pass to Muqrin's family and his son, Prince Mansour (now dead in a mysterious helicopter crash) will become the next king. Everyone could see that possibility but suddenly something strange happened. Just spending four months as the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Muqrin was removed by King Salman on the pretext of the Crown Prince's ill health whereas The King himself is ill and senile! The King appointed his own mercurial young son Prince Muhammad bin Salman as the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. The writing on the wall was now clear that the transfer of kingship among the sons of the first king officially ended and the kingship will subsequently be transferred in the family-line of King Salman downwards. But here is the problem. It was an unnatural transfer. The natural transfer was supposed to happen in Crown Prince Muqrin's family-line, if he was allowed to rule. There was this extremely uncomfortable, pregnant silence in the royal family but tensions were simmering under this ominous calm, in the wake of this unconventional power transfer. Domestically, Prince Muhammad immediately started consolidating power by taking control of one institution after another. There is hardly anything today in Saudi Arabia that can be done without his approval. His orders are that everything big or small will go through him. But among Royalty, history teaches us that the silence of the royal family or control of national institutions is never enough to consolidate power in modern day Saudi Arabia. Prince Muhammad also needed the approval and backing of America. Something that every Saudi King needs, specially after the Gulf crisis of 1991. And for that purpose Prince Muhammad needed Yousef Al Otaiba , the current United Arab Emirates ambassador to the United States and a charismatic and shrewd businessman from a very influential family of UAE. Yousef Al Otaiba is like one of those people about whom you do not hear or know very much, but they are the real power brokers in Washington and other important capitals of the world and whose influence extends far beyond their apparent job specifications. This alliance between Prince Muhammad and Yousef became very instrumental in sponsoring Prince Muhammad in the halls of Washington. Yousef Al Otaiba not only got important connections for Prince Muhammad but was also the key man behind the May 2017 US$350 billion arms deal between US and Saudi Arabia signed by President Trump. It was a plain and simple deal based on crystal clear interests. President Trump needed Saudi money for creating jobs, under the banner of which he fought his election campaign and also to show progress after repeated domestic failures. Prince Muhammad on the other hand wanted to show the Royal family that now he has the needed approval of Washington for his ascension to the throne will backing. This new friendship with powerful people in Washington gave the exact kind of dangerous confidence to Prince Muhammad, the consequences of which we subsequently saw in the Middle East. The ruthless bombing campaign in Yemen, the standoff with Qatar and the ever-increasing belligerence towards Iran are some of the apparent consequences of Prince Muhammad's newly found alliances. But the influence of Yousef Al Otaiba on Prince Muhammad went a little beyond that. The recent relaxation of laws like allowing Saudi women more freedoms etc are a manifestation of that welcome influence to modernize a hypocritical and archaic society. Yousef not only convinced Prince Muhammad to pass these laws, he also peddled these changes in Washington to show that how much "moderate" Prince Muhammad will be as the King of Saudi Arabia. But soon the backlash came. While Prince Muhammad was busy showing his "progressive" side to the west, the influential sidelined members of Saudi Royal family and many hardline clerics of the powerful Wahabi establishment were getting restless and vocal about Prince Muhammad's legitimacy as the next king and his methods of ruling the Kingdom. Washington was monitoring all these developments and gave Prince Muhammad a go-ahead signal through a recent visit to Riyadh by Jared Kushner, who is the son in law of and Senior Advisor to the President Trump. Resultantly the political purge started with these high profile arrests in the name of crackdown against corruption, alongside a dead man in a "mysterious" helicopter crash who could've been the next king. And for now it seems that the Mafia style takeover of the Saudi throne is underway by a young, ruthless godfather who seeks to dominate the landscape of Middle East for a long time to come. Modernisation, privatisation and elimination of the power of the clergy are on the agenda. Instead of doddering old semi senile octogenarians ruling over a rigid narrow repressive ultraconservative society, an energetic young man has been chosen to revamp and reshape Arabia , giving it a place among the modern countries of the world. Pakistan too needs to wake up, its sycophantic policy of verring to the right, pandering to wahabi ideology for handouts of dollars has driven it to the lip of the abyss and certain destruction. Now that its masters are abandoning antiquated and abnormal policies to be in sync with the world, so should this nuclear armed impoverished nation of 220 million which lost its secular soul at the alter of jihad fuelled by petro dollars. The world has been watching silently as the capital has been held hostage by a few dozen radical islamic fundamentalists. Great unease at this sight of the nuclear armed Government being helpless in the face of a rag tag band of mullahs is felt in the west and a decision has been taken: this will not stand! Change is inevitable, Pakistanis can choose, they can initiate it themselves and start the process of normalisation, else it shall be imposed from abroad. For too long has the eorld tolerated the basket case of South Asia...the clock has run out! Bewarned! The Author is a geo- strategist based in Brussels |
PRESS STATEMENT *700 days of illegal detention: Buhari free Sheikh Zakzaky now!* It is now 700 days since the unwarranted detention of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, his wife, Zeenah, and several hundreds of other members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in various detention centres. That was sequel to the cruel attack by the Federal government using its Military might in an attempt at exterminating the Movement, its leadership, membership and properties. As we are all aware, since that murderous weekend of December 12, 2015, we are still looking for justice on the matter. What happened between December 12 and 14, 2015 and subsequently has largely been deliberately kept hidden by the perpetrators. Amnesty International (AI) in its report called it “’Unearthing the Truth’: Unlawful killings and mass cover-up in Zaria.” The report, which was a product of extensive field investigation by independent investigators, has since been irritating the Nigerian government, who are hell-bent on covering what actually happened that cost the lives of over a thousand innocent citizens, using all instruments of state powers. Only recently, they have tried unsuccessfully to stamp the cover up using the so-called Presidential Investigation Panel, headed by Justice Biobele A. Georgewill, purportedly established to probe human rights abuses of the military. However, when it mattered most, the panel clearly demonstrated its lack of credibility and independence, when it took weeks before the panel was given “permission” to entertain the memo of the most victimised petitioner, who suffered what could best be described as state-sanctioned genocide. Even at that, the panel did not have the liver to take testimony in public, as it tried to hide evidence from public glare and scrutiny. The government of Buhari was not prepared to face the truth. It is only now that it is becoming clear to people that right from the outset; the intent was to destroy in whole the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN). That was clearly demonstrated by the military personnel that repeatedly chanted “No more Shi’ah” and other anti-IMN slogans as they massacred women, children and all others in Zaria. That would explain why they destroyed all properties of IMN including schools and religious centres as well as desecrated grave yards where members of IMN were buried. They massively killed over a thousand members of the IMN, including those they had shot and injured but could not be taken to shelter. They burnt people alive as well as the corpses of those they had killed! Who would quantify the serious bodily or mental harm the unprecedented Zaria massacre and the persistent follow through had caused to members of the Islamic Movement and their relations? Those who had escaped with their lives faced other shades of brutality till this day. Hundreds were arbitrarily arrested and are detained, some being wrongly accused with framed up charges. It is only now that the courts have been vindicating us, discharging and acquitting the wrongfully accused and detained. Many are still being kept in secret confinement without charges or trials. Many were denied appropriate medical attention and died in custody. Pregnant women had premature deliveries while in custody and some others suffered miscarriages. The hallmark of the mental torture was the secret burial of those they killed in mass graves without letting their relations give them a befitting burial. In fact, their relatives have not been informed of the extrajudicial execution of their loved ones. Shaikh Zakzaky’s health condition continues to deteriorate in detention, a condition calculated to bring about his physical destruction. Even as the courts had passed judgement calling for the release of the Sheikh and compensation for illegal detention, the government is still holding him in contempt to that judgement almost a year after. For the last seven hundred days of their incarceration, Sheikh Zakzaky was allowed access to his lawyers only twice. For the last seven hundred days, we are being denied our rights to our faith in Kaduna, Kano and Sokoto as well as some few other states. We have been denied the right to freely associate, assemble or peacefully protest. You all are witnesses to all these acts of intimidation. As of today, the government of Buhari has not arrested a single person for these serious crimes. It has shown obvious unwillingness to appropriately prosecute the perpetrators of this genocide. It only seeks to further protect them and even further perpetrate more crimes. We are prepared to take all necessary legal ways to seek redress. In the international scene, we shall proceed to urge the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague to indict President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors Nasiru ElRufai and Umaru Ganduje, General Yusuf Buratai and all others who meticulously planned and executed the Zaria genocide and are actively perpetuating it. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria wishes to appreciate all persons and groups who are standing by us since the last seven hundred days. The road was long, rough and tortuous, but at every turn you were all there with us. The work ahead remains arduous. We will however not relent in stepping up our peaceful protests for the release of our leader and all those being held. We are not cowed by their terror tactics against us. Saudi Arabia should attack Iran & should stop using Buhari to kill innocent Shia children & women in Nigeria: The bloodthirsty Saudi Wahhabi savages, masters of evil tyrant Buhari & Elrufai, are prodding the Israeli regime to attack Lebanon and #Hezbollah promising billions of dollars. They thought the Israelis are brainless fools like them. @KingSalman @netanyahu If the Israeli regime woefully failed to destroy #Hezbollah in 2006 war when Hezbollah was weak then how can this murderous regime destroy Hezbollah that is strong today with precision guided missiles and sophisticated armed drones? The same way the bloodthirsty Saudi Wahhabi savages prodded former US President Obama to attack Iran. They promised him all heaven and earth to attack Iran but Obama was smarter than them. He negotiated with #Iran for the #IranNuclearDeal. I challenge the bloodthirsty #SaudiArabia savages to attack Iran since they hate Iran and #Shiites and they share water-border with Iran. They should attack Iran & should stop using their Nigerian dogs @MBuhari, @elrufai & gang to kill innocent Shia children and women. The Saudi Wahhabi regime is using evil tyrant Buhari, @elrufai, @GovUmarGanduje & gang to kill innocent Shia children and women in Nigeria using the @HQNigerianArmy and @PoliceNG. This is cowardly and wickedly barbaric. Saudi Arabia should attack Iran! #ElbinawiTweets |

These are Possible name of Abu Huraira but nobody reported "Hadith" like him in Sunni Islam. Most of "Hadiths" were fabrications to distort the true message of Islam in favor of wicked tyrants and oppressors. It was reported that the Mother of faithfuls, Aisha (ra), do not accept any Hadith from Abu Huraira. Abu Huraira was appointed the Amir of Bahrain by Umar but was sacked for corruption. Abu Huraira went to Bahrain poor and returned rich. History reported that Abu Huraira only spent less than two years with the Messenger of God (sa) but narrated "Hadiths" more than all the leading companions combined! #ElbinawiTweets

Sheikh Zakzaky rejected secret testimony after meeting with Presidential Investigation Panel: @ProfOsinbajo @adeyanjudeji @IntlCrimCourt The kangaroo presidential panel on Army atrocities met Sheikh Zakzaky yesterday evening at an undisclosed location for secret testimony. He rejected it. Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky out rightly rejected the idea that his testimony would be taken in camera. He insisted that he will rather give an open testimony. Sheikh Zakzaky told the kangaroo presidential panel on Army atrocities that he would not answer any cross examination questions in secrecy. Sheikh Zakzaky further placed a condition that the government must obey the court order to release him before he will give any testimony, since there is no military personnel among those who carried out the heinous crimes at Hussainiyyah and his residence that is being detained. The wicked, evil and bloodthirsty tyrant @mBuhari slaughtered 1000+ Shia children, women and men in Zaria and wickedly dumped their dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. #ZariaMassacre @aishambuhari @abellodam Wicked, evil and bloodthirsty tyrant @MBuhari setup the kangaroo presidential panel on Army atrocities to deceive the world that he cares for the Human Rights of the 1000+ innocent Nigerians he brutally murdered. @IntlCrimCourt @UN In another development, the legal team representing the #IMN has vehemently refused to be served notice of petition written by one Muhammad Ali on the grounds that the terms of reference of the Panel did not include that they were to investigate the IMN as well. Terminate the agony of Zakzaky, Falana writes Evil tyrant Buhari Femi Falana, human rights lawyer, has written another letter to President Muhammadu Buhari over the detention of Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader, Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), and Zainab Elzakzaky, his wife. The lawyer has written a series of letters to the president over the arrest of the IMN leader. In a letter dated November 7, Falana said the refusal of the federal government to release the duo despite the order of an Abuja federal high court creates a “dangerous impression that the federal government does not operate under the rule of law.” “On December 2, 2016, the Abuja Judicial Division of the Federal High Court ordered the release of Sheik Ibraheem Elzakzaky and his wife, Hajia Zainab Elzakzaky from the illegal custody of the State Security Service,” the letter read. “The court also awarded them reparation of N50 million and directed the Federal Government to provide a temporary accommodation for the couple since it was established that the Nigerian Army and the Kaduna state government had burnt and demolished their private residence located at Zaria in Kaduna state. “We urge Your Excellency to terminate forthwith the physical and mental agony that has been inflicted on our clients by releasing them from illegal custody and allowing them to travel abroad for urgent medical attention.” According to Falana, while El-Zakzaky was at a risk of total blindness, his wife still had bullets lodged in her body causing her “excruciating pain and agony”. The lawyer said if the federal government insisted on restraining them, it should at least release them on health grounds He added that the judicial commission set up to investigate the causes of the 2015 attack did not recommend the indefinite incarceration of El-Zazaky and his wife, while calling for their immediate release. “In case the federal government is not prepared to direct the State Security Service to comply with the orders of the Federal High Court we are compelled to urge Your Excellency to order the release of the couple on health grounds,” he wrote. “Although Sheik Elzakzaky lost his left eye while he is on the verge of losing the right eye sequel to the brutal treatment meted out to him by the armed soldiers the State Security Service has denied him foreign medical treatment recommended by the local specialists who had attended to him. “Even the alternative arrangement put in place by the family of the Sheik to bring eye specialists from abroad to treat him in custody has equally been rejected without any legal justification. “It may interest Your Excellency to know that the medical condition of Mrs Zainab Elzakzaky is by far worse than that of her husband. “For reasons best known to the State Security Service, some of the bullets lodged in her body during the brutal attack of December 14, 2015 have not been extracted up till now. In the circumstances, she has been subjected to excruciating pain and agony, on a daily basis. “Her life which is currently in danger may be saved and prolonged if she is allowed to receive adequate medical attention without any further delay.” |
*Reflection:* *Sheikh Zakzaky refuses secret testimony after meeting with Presidential Investigation Panel today* The Presidential Investigative Panel looking into the Human Rights abuses by the Military today Tuesday November 7th visited Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky with the intention of taking his testimony in secret. This was coming a day earlier than the date given by the Panel that the testimony would be taken. It was not clear why the sudden change of date, but the Panel said it was necessitated by the need to wind up their sittings by Wednesday the 8th. The Panel had approached our lawyers to inform them rather precipitately that the case would be taken at 9:00am Tuesday rather than Wednesday. Our lawyers objected to that sudden change of date on the grounds that the reasons for which the sitting was put off to Wednesday in the first place had not been met. There was no evidence from the Panel that they had obtained the permission from DSS to have the Sheikh brought to give testimony. The lawyers standing for the Sheikh had also not been allowed to see their client to debrief him about the intention of the Panel to take his testimony in camera, and whether or not he was comfortable with that. Those were the reasons why the case could not be heard throughout last week when it was initially scheduled to hold. When the 9:00am time on Tuesday was declined by the legal team of the Islamic Movement, the Panel gave another time of 4:00pm, which was again declined by the legal team led by Mr. Femi Falana, SAN. The team insisted that they must have access to the Sheikh before they could appear before the panel. As the Panel repeatedly shifted the goalpost in the middle of the game, it appeared that the Panel was acting as if under the influence of some external figures, which had earned it the name of "Kangaroo Panel.” Observers say the way and manner the Panel was handling the issue of this petition shoddily was alarming. In spite of all the objections from the legal team of the Islamic Movement, the Panel went ahead to see the Sheikh in an undisclosed location in the late afternoon. The head of our legal team, Mr. Falana, SAN and another lawyer in the team, Mrs Falana accompanied the Panel to witness what would transpire in the meeting between the Panel and the Sheikh. Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky out rightly rejected the idea that his testimony would be taken in camera. He insisted that he will rather give an open testimony. He said he would not answer any cross examination questions in secrecy. The Sheikh further placed a condition that the government must obey the court order to release him before he will give any testimony, since there is no military personnel among those who carried out the heinous crimes at Hussainiyyah and his residence that is being detained. In its reply, the Panel maintained that it could not make use of what the Sheikh said and would therefore not put it on records since he would not answer any cross examination questions. The Panel therefore left without achieving what they came to get. They requested that the IMN produces their other witnesses tomorrow Wednesday. However, the legal team insisted that Sheikh Zakzaky is their prime witness, whose testimony must be heard first and openly as he wants, and as justice demands, before anyone else could be put in the witness box. It remains to be seen now how the Panel will handle this situation. In another development, the legal team representing the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has vehemently refused to be served notice of petition written by one Muhammad Ali on the grounds that the terms of reference of the Panel did not include that they were to investigate the IMN as well. "The Panel's terms of reference precludes it receiving any other petition from anyone other than the ones looking into alleged rights abuses by the Military." They insisted that if anyone has any grievance against the Movement or any of its leaders or members should seek redress in a competent court of law. *©#FreeZakzaky Campaign Committee, November 2017* |
#ArbaeenTrek Attack, Kano Axis: ACCOUNT OF AN EYE WITNESS -Khadeejah Umar Maigatari. After the closing prayer was observed, my father summoned us together; but one of us (my younger brother) was nowhere to be found. My father tried to reach him on phone severally as we wait. I was wondering where could he be at this very moment that we are supposed to go home? As we wait reluctantly for my brother to arrive, I noticed the arrival of a friend (those online friends, we were able to meet mostly during programs) who is also on his way back home; he greeted my father and we took few steps ahead. My father instructed that I don’t go far as my awaiting brother might show up any moment, lest not them wait for me again. I then nodded in affirmative! Few minutes later, my phone rang and it was my father telling me that Abdulllah is here, and that I have to hurriedly catch them up at the waiting site. I hang off, wave good bye to the friend and we then took our seperate ways! My father was waiting alongside all my siblings when I arrived. Before I could took a breath, I just heard the buzzing of bullets as they past flew over my ears, uncountable and unimaginable number of them! The place was all a mess, children crying and looking for their parents, and mostly women trying to look for their young children. I then realized it all, the sudden arrival of the bloodthirsty western-saudi backed security forces, shooting incessantly all over the place. It appeared to me as if we were under siege. I turned to my father, who hold my hand and that of my beloved siblings. He knew I was startled by then; and he looked into my eyes and told me to not fear a thing, as ‘nothing will happen to us God willing’! I could remember the absolute stand of one sister who was crying and calling on brothers to be like the 72 unshakable soldiers of Imam Husain in Karbala. The shots were still incessant and my father hold our hands toward one nook along Al Mustapha University, not knowing there I will witness the most horrifying moment of my life. The bullet shots were intense, and my father instructed that we all lied down. As I turned to my right, I caught sight of one sister shot on her head, she fell down and was bleeding profusely. I was startled as like never before! I began to cry heavily, asking my father to help me save her life. “We should not allow her to die at our very watch”! My father stand up and I followed him, we reached her but the bullets shot were specially intense. I was crying, muttering that “Let them kill us together, we can never leave you alone dear sister. All power belong to Allah, and He is sufficient for us”! The security forces were after us, I thought I was breathing my last.. Suddenly a brother appeared and wave at us from a distance and we then saw a way to keep her safe. I hurriedly took her while my father helped me as we run. As we were running, we saw another sister again bleeding profusely from her cheeks, fortunately some sisters helped and carried her to a safe place (name withheld for security reasons). I realized that both of them were alive, as they were still breathing. And I was trying to stop the bleeding, but I can still see the brain of the one shot at head flowing on the ground, and some part of it stuck on my clothes. When I managed to stop the bleeding to some extent, I took my phone to call for further first aid, but the keypads were clotted hard by blood that they can’t even be pressed. I then continued to check their pulses.. Not long after I realized that the one bleeding from the cheeks is already dead. I now fully concentrate on the other one who was breathing heavily at that moment, there was no equipments at my disposal. Not long enough, I came to realize that the other one I carried too has answered the glorious call of Almighty!!! We waited until were sure that both the two martyrs were taken by ISMA personnels. Eternal peace of Allah be upon you all, the day you were born, the day you were martyred and the day you will be raised as oppressed. Eternal curse and damnation of Allah be on your killers. -Khadeejah Umar Maigatari. 7/11/2017. |
