torkaka: Politics is a game of numbers and interest, the question is; how have the idomas played the game, Knowing fully well they can only be governor if the tivs are in line with them? What moves have they made? how has David Mark (idomas political leader) watered the ground in tivland for an idoma governor to grow? Now I understood why they say tivs are greedy. you occupy the position of governor and you want to still occupy ministerial post again? Then what will be left for the idomas? |

OP I am quiet happy to see someone with these views. It's a sad commentary about Africa that decades after acquiring independence we are still wrapped up in tribal bigotry and unhealthy competition. This is not just a Nigerian thing, it is a reflection of Africa as a whole. If you visit other African forum, this same type of bigotry is prevalent with no single iota of objectivity in analysis. I come to realise it's not gonna end anytime soon. But let's keep working on it and hoping we see some progress soon. With time and enlightment changes would occur naturally. I for one do not comment on tribal threads as a matter of principles. I post informations that boost unity and showed progress no matter which part of the country it's from. If Jonathan does something right I praise him, if he gets it wrong I criticise ferociously having realise there is not much ideological difference between the two dominant parties. I support candidates based on their track record not partisan support. Its well with Nigeria, we shall rise again! |
Better late than never! |
These thing doesn't seem to end at all. |
RIP Dr Ameyo Adadevoh |

RIP This is to correct the misconception that Dr Ameyo Adadevoh was discharge. Several doctors attended to Mr Sawyer when he presented. The first Doctor that attended to him was Dr Ada ( who subsequently recover and was discharge) while Dr Ameyo was the second to attend to him ( unfortunately she went into coma and never recover). The Minister of health said one of the patient recovered but he never gave the name of the patient. Nigerian news outlets where the once that erroneously gave the name as Dr Ameyo. Apart from Dr Ada and Dr Ameyo Adadevoh there are other doctors and nurse that also attended to Mr Sawyer some of them recover and where discharge while others are still on admission presently. May God see us through all these! |

Hyundai sonata 1.5m cheap is u ask me!
|
eunisam: so how does it make a car of 1.9million cheap?Who says a car of 1.9m is cheap? you ask a question about wat happened to the days of 80k - 120k cars and I told you "depreciation happen" You are hear asking me dumb question again! |
tuoyoojo: 1.9milla? Dat is too mush o.Hahahahah....Chief u too like awuf o how many toks of that car u fit get for 1milla or less ![]() |
eunisam: another confusing analysis. Pls brake it down more.as in primary school standard. LolIf #1 fit buy u bread in 1980, u go nid #165 to buy the same bread today cause of inflation. |
South Africa trying to turn other sadc countries to dumping ground. |
eunisam: shade more light on that pls.Around the 80s when cars where that cheap, the value of the naira to the dollar was #4 = $1. The had strong purchasing power then. Subsequently the value depreciated to the current level of #165 to $1. The lower purchasing power of the naira means you need more money to buy a product now than in the 80s for the same type of product. |
omenka: For a brand new car I don't think it is too much tho. But in all honestly, I'd rather go for Volvo s40 2005 or Corolla Sports 2005, or Benz C230 2006 and keep the change instead of the purchasing the Hyundai.lolz......You have to look at the advantage of after sales service you will get from locally manufactured cars shaa |
eunisam: N1.9million and you said is cheap? Abeg review the price. What happend to those days gulf was sold at the price list of N80,000 and N120,000? Any company that can produce such affordable car will be ontop.lolz.....The depreciation of the naira happens!!! |
If the policy is not favourable to you, change business! Some few group of vested interest cant just hold Nigeria and its economy to ransom. |
omenka: I'm absolutely with you on the Israeli angle!! Matter of fact, it has always been my opinion that ICC remains a sham until the day it hosts people like Natanyahu, George Bush, and Tony Blair!!Read the report about the video documentary from the link. reportingnigeria.com/2014/08/boko-haram-report-indicts-nigerian-govt-war-crimes/ |

omenka: Oga it is only state agents / constituted authorities or "rebels" that are being taken to the ICC to answer to crimes against humanity. Have you ever heard of a "terrorist" group with no "state control" being charged with such crimes?? For such people, when you are caught, you have your day in the local courts and they deal with you appropriately or they simply kill you before your case could even be heard. Imagine saying you want to charge al Qaeda or the Taliban for war crimes, where are you gonna find themWhen has civilian JTF constituted state authority? The said crime were perpetrated by civilian jtf mostly and here they are shouting hoax. I will take them serious the day the charge Israel with war crimes. Or do they need video evidence for that? |
We dont need it! |
Ezyp: but the minister never wrote they fought it off...Neither did he mention any drug used. My point is, its possible the used experimental drug and want it kept secret for now before USA start calling it another "pesticide" And its possible no drug was used other than supportive management. |
blank: Talk true jor. Didnt the minister come out to clarify that he was misquoted and the doctor really did not have Ebola?let me help you. Read the report carefully and try understand what the minister said: www.thisdaylive.com/articles/fg-denies-conflicting-reports-on-discharged-ebola-patient/186604/ |
