A friend bought Honda CRV 2001 naija used for 350k, he spent 20k to change the leg components like bushen, stabilizer linkage , 20k or so on powersteering pump and 80k on tokunbo engine... Total 600k or less, he has been using it for 2 years not a single issue.

my boss bought evil spirit going to two years no complaints (naija used)
my area elder that taught me how to drive have bought over 10 Honda cars,from prelude to Civic to accords even rovers...

Accord that is even the only car left that give Camry tough time.

BOLT factor is a big issue , if it is for part time may be Highlander , for full time NONE.

this is why I always say stereotyping is a big issue in D's region, because you have bad experience with a vehicle doesn't mean this brand is bad, you might be bought a lemon, mechanics might bleeped up, model may be bad etc..

from Benz to Toyota to Honda there are people who have bad experience with each brand.

after Toyota is Honda in reliability no doubt.

When i still have my honda civic in late 2000; i can tell u then that it was honda that was reigning then; u will hardly see someone in toyata.

Any of them doesn't have factory plants in Nigeria so will talk of global production, you still don't get it wen we say Toyota produces more vehicles, it mean their vehicles will be cosmopolitan as in found nearly everywhere, so when we now still find Honda everywhere too even though they produce and sell less in comparison with Toyota it means they are doing well too.

Honda has problems with v6 variant from 1998 model till 2007 but it has been corrected.

Don't expect Honda and Toyota to go head to head in vehicles sales soon because Toyota produces more.

if naira does not depreciate woefully in next five years 2013 Accord is a goal. you will see dem flood our market

The only Time you will enjoy Honda totally is when it’s bought brand new. Honda is not really a strong car. It has a short lifespan. I’m not saying it will stop working totally, but when it starts it’s madness it’s gonna be 1 week 1 wahala.

You can fix a particular fault in Honda 100 times.

So it’s better when it’s bought brand new before it starts it’s madness you must used it for long and tired of it maybe looking to buy another car.

Talking from experience.

the competition some years back was between accord and camry, civic and corolla, city and yaris.
Today, for every accord you see, you'll see 5 or more camry.

Lets start with the basics. Babyboy and pencil light. which one do you see more?
EOD and big for nothing, which one do you see more?

Honda is not fading , Toyota produces and sells more vehicles than all other brands. closely follow is Honda in sales.

I JUST check; they consumes about 2 litres higher than 4cylinder nd that is big if u r travelling far. v6 has higher fuel consumption compared nd not easy to despair.
I JUST need something simple bro

I don't think u get it, if you re travelling the v6 is the better engine, it will achieve high speed with low rpm, so the fuel will be better ,it can only consume more fuel in city driving.
my point: if you travel often chose the v6 variant they are rugged as well ignore kazeemized talks

You are wrong. Do your research very well. It's only the 2003 model that had transmission issue. 90% is even an over exaggeration of the problem.

higher percentage of d complaint is on v6 variant

but stereotyping is a big problems in D's part odlf d world, I learnt D's from people review on Edmund,carcomplaint,quora,Reddit etc..

the I4 Accord is good as long as it maintain with recommended oil.

OP whatever choice you're about to make please stay away from Ford cars unless you have nine lives.
Its electrical components/sensors nags alot and the resale value is very very poor, that is if you're lucky to get a buyer.
From an experienced Ford Mondeo owner who had to sell an 8months used car for 35% off its purchase price.

I remember ur experience of d Ford focus..

if u want to buy baby boy make sure it is four plugs and verify the condition of the transmission very well, if u can manage the ball joints issue no problems with Honda.
Honda produce one of the best engine, ..
please get a well maintained unit..
many people use babyboy it is not a bad a VEHICLE

It's actually very simple. This year of accord with navigation was actually designed to have reverse camera, I just don't know why Honda didn't just put them. It's basically a plug-and-play installation.

Transmission is hale and hearty.

Performed an uneventful transmission drain and refill about three weeks ago after the notification minder came up.

Absolutely no issues, so far.
