It will get you toks of number 3 to 6 but just barely. Minor repairs might push it above your budget slightly but do note that they will be high mileage.

I am much more interested in the reliability. It will be used for inter state travel occasionally so really wondering if there is anything i should be worried about. Cost of parts when compared to Camry of same year?? How is the transmission as i have read Honda has some poor transmission.

it is reliable ,I4 engine is equipped with solid transmission ,use only original Honda DW1 ATF ..
please choose the EX if you have the chance that is luxury in cheap form..

update The car has been strong and dependable,
I drained the ATF fluid in January and replace with original Honda DW1.. change front brake pad and engine oil change.

use only original Honda DW1 ATF , the four plug 7th generation Accord transmission will serve you well as long as you use recommended fluid.

I didn't see how best to use or fix the problem.
I still prefer Honda, so how best can it be prevented

1.use brand new OEM ball joints not chinko ones.

2.if you can't afford the brand new OEM find a good Honda part seller that will sell used originalOEM ball joints to you ,not naija rebuilt ones.

3. as a regular maintenance check your suspension system routinely..

PS : I drive Accord 05 I love the driving experience compare to Toyota Camry of same year.. she gives me joy, very dependable, low cost of spare parts and parts don't break often.

Several vehicle manufacturers have solved this issue with introducing different techniques of priming the fuel injector lines.

Peugeot, and landrovers prime the fuel line immediately the drivers door is opened, meaning as soon as you open the drivers door, the fuel pump is activated for 10secs then stops. It resumes if vehicle is started.

Honda's, Kia's, Hyundai, and a bunch of American models prime the system when the key is turned to ignition.


These methods all ensure you have a quick start when required at any time.

I personally modified a rav4 2010 recently as i didn't see the need bringing down the fuel tank to replace the FPR and there was a lot of rust under the car. I used the drivers door signal.


In the past the fuel pumps came on immediately ignition was turned on, you get a quick start yes, but if vehicle was involved in an accident, you have a fuel leak, you have a steady flow of fuel which results in a really bad fire.

No tacoma I not as powerful as a Tundra tacoma comes majorly in V6 sometimes has 4 cylinder engine.

Tundra depending is V6 to V8 and has more cargo space and can carry more tonnage than tacoma.

ehehe... f150 should tackle tundra and ranger tackles Tacoma my thought though.

Yes we can pitch the tacoma against the F-series but tacoma was toyota answer to an upscale truck not just ordinary truck.

When i first start driving mycar it acceletates normal but after driving for like 20mins-30mins, i dont know what stops the car from accelerating when its in drive and accelerate normal when its in neutral but when I will put off the engine and starts it again, it will work normal for another 20mins b4 it starts again. Its Honda accord 2012 I dont know what could be the cause someone pls help

since you said u just changed d transmission...
this seem like the transmission is overheating
you may want to diagnose ur transmission cooling parts.. I mean physical checks including heat exchange cooler lines.

The issue of the car is the car jerk when returning from gear two to gear one after acceleration. Have already changed the gear oil, but still the same issue .

Other things being equal, I will take an 07 accord DC over an 08 with it's plenty cylinder shut-down wahala and other new generation teething problems...this is because the DC embodies all the corrections made to that generation....So as long as I get a good specimen, I am home and dry
