It would have been foolish of Tinubu to go for a paperweight Christian running mate to court the votes of those who are more inclined to voting PDP or LP.

Tinubu has made the right choice for his presidential ambition.

Christians like me who support him are doing so to get to the Presidency, and not to please his antagonists and lose the Presidency.

Some say Tinubu is greedy and blinded by ambition.

They forget about Atiku the political prostitute that has been changing parties just so he can contest the Presidency everytime since 2007.

They forget Obi that betrayed APGA just so he can benefit from the national structures of PDP and was running mate to Atiku in 2019. Same Obi bought Presidential ticket forms of the PDP and only abandoned the party when he saw he would be a loser at the primaries that was only less than a week away. He hurriedly moved to Labour Party and prevailed on Pat Utomi to step down for him, so he could be the automatic candidate.

They do not remember that Tinubu has always grown his own party and formed alliances to get to where he is now. Since he left office as Governor in 2007, he has never campaigned for any political office until now, but was campaigning for others and contributing his quota to the success of others.

When things became tough in APC, Tinubu did not decamp to any party or SDP as wailers had been parroting. Instead, it was the darling of the wailers that absconded from the PDP that gave him a national spotlight in 2019, only to enter a Labour Party he never laboured for and become the Presidential candidate as a rebounding failure from PDP.

While Tinubu over the years was patient and able to organically plot his way to the presidential ticket of a party he laboured for with the initial formation of AC in 2006 that later aligned with other opposition parties to become APC in 2013.


If Tinubu is greedy, desperate, and overambitious with his patience and organic political growth, what then is Atiku and Obi?

--In 1979, Awolowo ran a christian-christian ticket and the Yoruba Muslims & Christians ALL voted him by 90%

--In same 1979, Zik ran a Christian-Christian ticket, the Igbos all voted him by at least 75% of the votes.

If they support that kind of ticket then, what authority do you have to dictate some kind of moral superiority this time?

It is very simple, any Christian that feels what Tinubu did is wrong, they should just vote Obi or Atiku. But all these cries and blackmail will be counterproductive in the end.

I met this lady sometime in December and we got dating in march this year. She's really nice, her parents are well to do so she doesn't really bugs me for anything although we go on dates occasionally and gift each other stuffs.

the thing is I have some reservations about everything due to some reasons.

The thing is she just agrees with everything I say. For example, we were discussing about intimacy and she was like anything that makes me Happy is what gets her satisfied.

The major thing giving me concern is when she gets angry she can say a whole lot of really really hurtful things but when she is normal, she apologizes for them saying she doesn't know what came over her.

I have intentions of settling down with her but it somewhat feels too good to be true. I don't know if I'm looking at it from a place of previous hurt but I'm trying to be as logical as possible.

The Chairman of Borno State, Christians Association (CAN), Bishop Mohammed Naga [has commended the selection of former governor of the state, Senator Kashim Shettima as the Vice Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 Election....


Naga, who described Shettima as a compassionate leader, said: “My brothers, those who are not from Borno State may not know, but you and I know better.
In the history of Borno State, there is no Governor that has been fair to the Christian Community in this State as much as Governor Kashim Shettima.
I am saying this in the presence of God Almighty and this is nothing but the truth.
Governor Shettima, in the history of Borno, is the only Governor that has sponsored highest number of Christian Pilgrims every year since 2011.

This Governor has shown compassion to the Christian Community.”


He added that: “For example, when Gwoza people were driven from their ancestral homes, they fled to Maiduguri, and the Governor personally came to CAN Centre in Jerusalem ward two times in June and July 2014.
He gave N10 million for their upkeep at first instance, but the victims were not many.
By the end of October 2014, the IDPs from Gwoza increased to 42,000 in that camp alone. Governor Shettima came again and gave another N10 million.
He also gave additional N5 million for Christians from Borno who fled to Cameroon to be returned home.

“He gave another N5 million for non-indigenes who fled to Cameroon to come back to Nigeria.”

1. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a political Genius. God made him like that and no one can change that fact.

2. In the Nigerian politics of today, Asiwaju is a master strategist.

3. Despite the fact that I never wanted a muslim-muslim ticket, I honestly gave an analysis that a muslim-muslim ticket is an easier way for Tinubu to become president.

4. Out of every 10,000,000 Nigerians saying Tinubu will lose because of muslim-muslim ticket, 9,500,000 of them wouldn't vote the man even if he chose a muslim-christian ticket. Why will any smart politician be stupid and lose and lose the election because he wants to please 500,000 people when he can do a muslim-muslim ticket and get bloc votes from a region that want muslim-muslim ticket. 5. Most of Bola Tinubu core lovers and supporters in the South don't love him because he's a muslim, they love him because they love him. So, don't keep wasting your time.

6. I have always predicted that Kwankwaso would eventually step down for either Tinubu or Atiku. Going by the present calculations, Tinubu has very high chances of bringing Kwankwaso to his side.

7. To Peter Obi and his supporters, you guys are doing a very good job. However, I need you to note that you guys are indirectly working against Atiku and working in favour of Tinubu's presidency.

8. At the end of the day, Tinubu would cruise to presidency. Atiku will come second and Peter Obi will be distant 3rd or fourth (depending on some circumstances)

9. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I pray that his time as President favours Nigeria and Nigerians.

10. After Tinubu's 8 years, A Northerner will do 8 years and a SouthSoutherner will do 8years after him.

A Couple, Gidado Abubakar Auta and Amina Ahmad, both medical doctors, have died in a fire that gutted their home in Maiduguri, Borno State, Reports.

It Was Gathered By , that the couple sustained severe burns in the fire which occurred three days ago and were rushed to a hospital where Dr. Gidado died on Tuesday, July 5.

His wife, who was said to be pregnant, died on Wednesday morning, July 6, Learnt.

Until their death, the couple worked with the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).

Late Amina was a House officer while Dr. Gidado Abubakar Auta was a Senior Registrar, Radiology.

Late Auta was said to be one of the finest Resident Doctor in the Department of Radiology at the hospital.

His Funeral Prayers was held on Tuesday, 5th July, 2022 by 3:50pm at the UMTH Central Mosque.

The Funeral Prayers for late Dr. Amina will hold by 10am on Wednesday, opposite Satus Hotel, Lagos Street, Maiduguri.
