gaviria: Good morning all, I want to use this opportunity to specially thank God almighty for his grace and favor in the course of my US movement. Me: University of Lagos. Types for 5seconds and asks me to pick my visa in 3 days, I didn't expect it. It didn't last up to a minute and he didn't look at me once throughout, he was just typing and asking the questions. I was waiting for questions like "Who's paying"?,"What school and what course?", "What do you do now?. etc. I'm very happy. I was confident and very calm this time because not being calm cost me at my last interview. I was the first person issued a white paper today at the Lagos Consulate as that guy in front of me was still with that fresh VO guy and so was the girl behind him. Thanks to everyone for their encouraging transcripts and words. It's God at the end of it all, I prayed to God and emptied my pocket in church last Sunday and told God to help me this week and he did. Let me stop my epistle here, sorry I'm used to writing epistles. Congrats!!! |

kokoboy4life: Good Day to Everyone fantastic job you people are doing on here, I need someone to enlighten me on this school funding because am yet to get my admission granted but I have sent all the necessary documents to them, so my question is: will school confirm the funding for me before admission is granted or after the processing of my I-20 Letter. All depends on the school Bro... But it could: 1. Come with the admission letter 2. It could come via your prospective profs weeks after you get admission. 3. You could be on a waiting list and then get an offer later. However if your I20 is sent before the offer comes then you might have to request a new I20 reflecting the funding. But if yoybare out of time you can take the offer letter with you for the interview and explain yourself. |

Mac2016: 3.47 Cool... Pls check out your GPA equivalent on WES website so you get an idea what your GP is on the 4point scale. Then you would search for safe schools that match your profile. Also you would have to try and publish some papers even if its free just to be more competitive... |

Originalsly: To each his own... if NYC is the worst... why does it attract the most visitors? If you are like a racist.... a White Supremist... then I can agree with you because NYC is one big melting pot.... you just can't avoid other races... they are always in your face.... and your very own will give you he'll for being a racist. Besides that... what else does those cities have to offer that NYC doesn't? ...Walmart? For every one interesting you can name in any of those cities...NYC has at least 5 more options. Las Vegas... if I don't like gambling nor the strip shows.... tell us what else we can do there ...in the middle of the desert. On Point!! |
