thibcyrain: Hello guys!!! I have been here long before and back again to strike. I applied back in 2013 undergrad but got denied. I wish to apply for MSC electrical. I have a good grade now.
I plan to apply to about 10 schools, but unfortunately transcript in my university cost -#20k. This means to apply to 10 schools it will cost me 200k, whilst local transcript cost just #7k. Is it possible for me to apply for the local transcript, send to a known co-cooperate address I currently work and then send directly to the universities I wish to apply. What is the implication. Thank you guys Check if some of those schools use unofficial local transcripts(not addressed to the school) Send that first (uploading on their portal). Then if they admit you, you can send the official transcript. Finito. Just make sure that you have at least 5 safe schools in that 10school list of yours. Or else na frog jump we go give you!!! |

TWoods: If you saw a 50-year old "infant", wouldn't you feel sorry for him?
You are right that it takes courage to act differently, but it also takes honest courage to know when to stop wasting your time trying to change a people who are firmly uninterested in change. Even the bible says your number 1 priority is not your nation, but your family.
Lets not look too far, Nigeria's problems are laid bare here - we are essentially a nation of corrupt and intellectually lazy people. We've basically mortgaged our ability to think to "prayer" and "testimonies". We should be ashamed... no other nation in the world (well except India) spends this much time "praying" for a US visa. No doubt our " Papa and MaMa syndrome" has robbed a lot of Nigerians of common sense!! But eventually we would get there. Infact I thank God for this recession it has taught the Nation a lot of lessons.... I just pray I can be part of the New Nigeria... |

TWoods: I can't see any successes. Perhaps you can lend me your glasses? Visa interviews I mean... But for a country, we are experiencing what other nations experienced. Don't let the success of other nations cloud the fact that Nigeria is at its infant stage. Our Tribe, religion, political and psychological orientation has been influenced by all kinds of vices that stretch all the way from our independence till date and even before 1960. So add value to Nigeria Twoods!!! Tell us what you have done to improve these challenges. Every body can complain....it takes courage to act differently |

TWoods: With the amount of "God", "grace" and all the other religious mumbo jumbo i read here... one would almost confuse this thread to be a church service of some sort. That makes me wonder, for a country that is so religious, why is it so poor and corrupt? Against our imperfections we can still identify the root of our Success... Welcome Back.... |

pingjosh: Evening guys. I have an answer to this however, I still want to get the best answer for the question. When asked "why do I want to study this course" that is Animal Breeding? What other answer can you guys help me with?
My response would have been...this course will equip me wit the right skills to become a credible researcher and a professional consultant in animal breeding and agriculture generally. Your answer is superficial. Try and give specifics. What are the skills in Question? animal surgery? Or whatever your school Dept/Discipline does etc. What techniques/ procedures are Not in Nigeria? And how would those Skills help Nigeria. That should be the response you give.... |
