TOEFL iBT: 100

Please I need our help!

Try and write GRE for funding.....just try.
The opportunities are endless of you have a gooq quantitative score of atleast 160. Most of your people from india, Bangladesh have GRE/Toefl
Toefl score to above 100 is very important....
GRE will open the doors of scholarships

And yes one of the greatest skill you can have now is python programming...most professors need to see that in your CV

Better use Morgan that charges total of less than 1%.I don't know how efficient they are in services.

Meritrade is a big man platform 1.35% brokers fees only.Total is close to 2%.I use it though.super services but not making much in returns as a result of high commissions.

Mytradebook 1.13/1.35% total of buy/sell..My preffered choice.Excellent services.

Thanks

Jobs/Vacancies / Sahara Group Frustrates Applicants As Always by electronic(m): 8:57pm On Apr 26, 2019
Beware of Sahara Group!!
angry angry angry we have warned you.... angry angry angry

They claim to be an oil company with all kinds of packaging and good content on their website etc. But they will frustrate your destiny. When you apply to them, don't ever resign your job or any weird thing to go for their interviews. A friend of mine resigned his appointment recently when they invited them for a month training. Can you imagine that this people wasted their time for a whole month!!, only to employ one person?.

In a country where opportunities are scarce why do this people feed on peoples emotions and destinies. Sahara is notorious for this, they will make you pass through all kinds of stages and they will end up frustrating you life. This interviews would be held in Lagos, you see graduate sweating to raise the transport fare for such interviews. some times the interviews will get to 11 pm at night. Even when you finally meet the CEO face to face, there is no guarantee. They will also mock and scorn you as well, they come up with all kinds of useless interview requirements. Even great companies like google do phone interviews ,when you arrive on site, world class companies they pay your transportation and hotel bills because it makes common sense. You will be amazed by the brand of cars at their parking lot, the heartless people will stare you in the face and employ one person after you have sacrificed more than an arm.

These same company belongs to Tonye Patrick Cole a so called Nigerian billionaire entrepreneur, executive director and co-founder of Sahara Group. They are basically wolves in sheep clothing. They will be forming Jesus is lord! i wonder if Jesus Christ was a CEO, would he treat him like this? I guess Karma struck when he lost his election bid in Rivers State

Regardless, this is not a blackmail piece. Its just a warning to innocent and focused hardworking Nigerians who are looking for a better life for themselves and family. SAHARA GROUP is a sliding floor.

Don't do it! All that glitters is not gold. undecided

Please if you have any additional info, post below lets warn our fellow graduates. i will add it to the article
Enough is Enough

Beware!!!

1. As an international Student, you're entitled to 20 hours per week of work, on Campus; Anything outside this is illegal, and may earn you persona non grata status by Department of Homeland Security. Most Jobs on campus are minimum wage. So, it is IMPOSSIBLE to save $3K a month from minimum wage campus jobs
2. FIU is a school whose total endowment is not enough to fund one Lab at MIT grin grin, so I highly doubt if they have scholarship packages. If you can get a Co-signer, there may be some loan packages you can obtain, but Federal Aid is off limits.
The only available option Right Now, Is to resume and immediately transfer to a dirt cheap community college ( it is fully legal to do so) and transfer your i-20. If you had some Mad ass coding skills, all these advise wouldn't have been necessary; just 3-4 freelance jobs would fetch you $4K +. grin grin grin. Hello my people of nairaland.

Please I need tips and guidelines on how to ace minimum of 100 in toefl IBT

I have been practicing since last month and my exams is towards this month ending.

I need instructions and guidance from people who have done it before to feed me with what I don't know about toefl. The minimum requirement from my schools is 100 in ibt

Like the popular saying. "If you want to see farther, climb on the shoulders of those who have gone ahead"

And another one says, "if you want to excel in assessments and examinations, tag your Nairaland USA visa thread Ancestors"

POE EXPERIENCE! cool

I checked in EGYPT Air (TO JFK) online to make life easy for myself and choose my own Seat for the whole trip.
JFK to Destination (DELTA Airline). GTB Card.(pls take this card to US ohhh )

So i finally got the UBER ride after the third try!! trip to the airport was awesome and cool nice conversation with the UBER driver.
however when we got to MMIA departure, my guys were not allowed to com in embarassed embarassed embarassed i really felt bad.
Passed through their CBP officer/metal Detector/ Bag Scanner. omo those officers there no get chill abeg; i wish Our police officers were that tough.

When to the EGYPTAir Stand and weighed my Luggage. You guest right, they were dam heavy!! i had to buy ghana must go(to reduce the weight) and still tip the guy self to allow me.. (at the end of the day i should have just bought lighter and more flexible Bags with rollers)please don't buy boxes for Yanga OHH... just get something light that you can roll in the Airport.
lesson learnt: if you have alot of load, try to carry four bags 2Check in Bags, a carry on Bag and a School Bag, this combination would help you sort out and over weight issues.dont carry any thing like indomie (Onion;though they never checked it self), kilishi, cellotape, scissors or any perishable in carry On, put them in Check-in Bags (thank me later).

So filled some pointless card and went through Immigration.. they almost seized my KILISHI but i begged like a baby... lol
plus i gave out some cash just to offload m naira notes. but the CBP at the scanner don't smile ohh (don't try tipping self).

EgyptAir make Sense Abeg, nice experience, Decent food too. Egypt Air lodged us at Le Passage Hotel Cairo really cool place, Men plus two meal vouchers for Dinner and Breakfast. omo na buffet OHHHH!! chop and DIE chikena (fear come dey catch me sef). the hotel room fine sef.
EGYPTAIR rocks..my only issue was one spoilt black lady that sat near me spoilt kid.... SMH. and yeah on the 10:55 hrs flight from cairo to JFK you get two meals.... All in All USE EGYPT AIR Abeg if you are on a Budget.... cool

I don't know if it is something I am not doing correctly

I tried searching for flights from newyork(JFK) to Houston Texas and I am seeing alarming prices

Can someone kindly recommend an airline with a rational price so I can book from here

Or is it advisable to book my flight when I get to JFK

Your insight will be greatly appreciated

Me: I ignored too
Vo: What course are u going for
Me: Master in educational Leadership/Administration
Vo: Why this school
Me: I choosed d skul coz it's ranked number one among other schools in New Mexico for successful career outcome for its students, it's also known for its renowned academic excellent, it has a low student to staff ratio which will enable me learn easily, n I'll also be working with prof James burns whom ive being in contact with right from my admission process, he agreed I joined his research group upon my arrival.
(She was just nodding, only God knows why she was nodding)
Vo: Then she stated interacting with one other new lady that she was tutoring, her attention on me was so divided. All this started from d Begining of d interview.
Vo: I noticed u applied few weeks back and was denied
Me : yes

Vo: Has anything changed since then (She meant on my ds160)
Me: No, still the same

Vo: Then she continued with her interaction

You didn't change anything so... sad
