PoliticsRe: 'How CBN Emptied Its Vaults To Finance PDP’s Presidential Campaign - TheCable by Eledan: 12:01pm On Dec 04, 2015
OLADD:
Whether we like it or not, our type of democracy will always promote the act of using State funds to finance the election of public office holders be it at the State or Federal levels. This is not suggesting that it's a good practice or the best way to go but that's the reality. Has anybody asked questions on how Tinubu, Fashola, Ameachi , Aregbesola and other APC stalwarts allegedly used their respective State Funds to finance their party when they were in opposition? Did anybody try to unravel how Buhari's electioneering campaigns were financed (pls forget the story of N50 donations from members of the public)? How about the billions of Naira APC spent on advertisements both locally and internationally? Who financed the fuelling of the many private jets Buhari used during his nationwide campaigns? What about the money spent on Buhari's Chatham House appearance? Where did the funds come from? The answer is not farfetched. These are monies from State covers under spurious, fictitious and questionable expense heads. It's as simple as that. Obviously, the N78million and N300million allegedly spent by Fashola on Website and Borehole respectively might not have gone into his private pocket but for party financing purposes.
APC and Buhari are fighting a battle that may boomerang if care is not taken and I see them burning their fingers along the line. Kettles should desist from calling the pot black.
If PDP have anything to expose about APC financing of the elections, they should start splitting it out. We need to know all those that have brought the Nigeria economy to it knees.

PoliticsRe: People Of Eastern Origin Living In The North Should Take Caution About Friday by Eledan: 10:33pm On Dec 03, 2015
kettykin:
Nobody is afraid of the hausas or fulani, the message is for the igbos living and doing business in the North to take extra caution against any backlash and not for igbos to panic over the North.
Since some igbos prefer to live and do business in the volatile cities of the North then they ought to be warned.
That is your own interpretation of what you have in mind. When people need to move in numbers and keep watching their back, then something is not right. You can keep denying it though.
PoliticsRe: People Of Eastern Origin Living In The North Should Take Caution About Friday by Eledan: 10:07pm On Dec 03, 2015
Panic and paranoia everywhere!!
See what you've allowed some brigands and miscreants in the SE caused. Now Igbos in the North will start living in fears and apprehensions in the coming weeks.

BluMalam:
At this rate, the South East will be under a state of emergency by Christmas.

The reprisal in the north will trigger a reprisal in the SE, that will welcome a military administration in the region.

Lets hope nothing happens, and its not too late.
Insha Allah, nothing will happen. These miscreants know what they are doing, they are desperately trying to provoke people and set the nation into chaos. That is is their only way to make the the nation ungovernable.
God will shame all those that are trying to create unrest in Nigeria.

They are already battling Boko Haram, you shouldn't kick a man when he's down. Boko Haram has tamed the abokkis
Why are you people always thinking in foolish manners? Elders of a region are taking the necessary proactive measures to ensure that they avoid a reprisal in the north, you are here saying rubbish.
Onye ara.

Deny it as much as you can. I thought you guys have mind? why are you guys trying so hard to downplay the madness your touts carried out yesterday? Cowardice?
Response is not always proportional. You killed their leaders in 1966 and they returned the favour in multiple fold, if and when they decides to reply this your aggression, don't cry to the Hague.

Rawani:
If you observe the timeline of the disbursements, its completely reasonable and logical to suggest that the arms scam formed a significant part of GEJ's re-election campaign funds.
It could well be so, but then until he is called in for questioning and give explanations, they would give him the benefit of doubt.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Arrests Attahiru Bafarawa Over Arms Purchase Deal by Eledan: 5:04pm On Dec 01, 2015
Some people were seriously feeding fat on the misfortune, death and blood of our military men all in the name of arms purchase.
How do you expect these people to pray for the end of the insurgency.
In the end, it's either Jonathan was completely useless and a sorry excuse of a President or he was neck-deep into this arms purchase scam.
In the coming day, all those ex-service chiefs should be picked up.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Missing My Late Father – Abacha’s Daughter by Eledan: 2:58pm On Oct 03, 2014
GenBuhari: just saying "yes he was" is not sufficient you should show evidence supporting your claim that he was more despotic than any other leader.
Where do you want us to start from? I'm not a paid image launderer like you, so all you need to do is to read comments on this thread and you will see how your man was/is well loved by Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Missing My Late Father – Abacha’s Daughter by Eledan: 2:41pm On Oct 03, 2014
GenBuhari: Was Abacha any more despotic than any other leader of Nigeria?
No he wasn,t that is a simple fact.
Yes, he was far worst than an other known Nigerian leader in term of intolerance to dissenting opinion, his paranoia instincts drove him to commit some of the worst atrocities committed after the Nigeria civil war.
