nnemmpi: The govt of APC led by fashola and tinubu in lagos is too corruptWhen is ASUU calling of it strike...you should be more concerned about that. |
Only Chino and his endless other Monikers support Obi attempt at imposing a stooge call Obi ano on umu Anambra. |
Boss13: The governor cannot do business with microsoft except personal business. Microsoft already have a presence in Nigeria.Microsoft is Microsoft all over the world....or do they operates on different ethical standard around the world? ![]() |
A governor doing business with Microsoft directly shows one thing....transparency and integrity. Microsoft as an organization will not do any business that will taint it reputation. |
This bros is so Presidential....
|
Thank you BRF.... |
Congrats...keep the flag flying. |
Abbey2sam: So you're now God?That is the aeolist nature of Eze wuruwuru of Ibos on NL for you in all it glory. |
Stop copying their religions..... |
chidindufrank: T A Orji's action was uncalled for. There is freedom of association in the country and everyone is entitled to join a political party of his or her choice. They paid for a venue and should have been allowed to use the venue. T A is a slowpoke and a disgrace to PDP. Igbo race is very much disappointed in him. He was schooled in the west and got some of their undemocratic attitude. While I agree with your post here...please leave the West out of this discussion.... |
Johnsinia: We the Ndigbo wil neva allow APC to rule our land. Its nt hatracy, its just dat we dislike completely everytin APC stand for. And we wil dislike any 'son of the soil' dat identify itslf with APC.People like you should NEVER be allowed in a congregation of sane minds.... You should be more bothered with ASUU and not APC... |
These women must have been benefitting from the proceeds of his kidnapping criminal activities.....these must have been actively conspiring all along in this crime... |
gregg2: 1) The question should have been about the number of KM of roads the two states have asphalted. And forget the media hype, Oshiomole can never beat Peter Obi on this. The way some of you people reason is totally awkward ....so in your wisdom, stopping Tinubu is your only reason for not going to allow Ngige ( a far more experience state administrator among the contenders) Reasoning like this will always make all round development alien to the East while it population keep escaping in droves to other parts. |
Courageous.....refreshingly different from the normal picture painted of a Nigeria police officer. Some of these un educated military boys are worse than animals. |
emiye: You are so annoying ![]() |
alpontif: I am relaxed, I am not prone to losing my cool over issues with faceless bots on the internet, not in a 100 years.Guy....easy, you take things too hard!!!!! Nobody is fighting anyone here. We are all entitled to our opinion.....no matter how stvpid anyone think it is. Chill..... |
alpontif: Yea, I am empty, and am also spewing rubbish, am also obviously shallow of the topic I claimed to have bogus knowledge of, and I keep claiming such bogus Knowledge with my village folk.....you satisfied?Guy.... Am sorry if I have offended you in anyway in my comment. Don't let's derail this thread further. We all want the same thing....and that is a better nation. |
Normally ...it's won't make much economic sense to use cement on roads that don't experience very heavy traffic in term of usage ...such as streets and intra-city roads. But since Nigeria have completely jettisoned rail-transportation for our cargo haulage transportation...investing in such cement-based roads is not out of place. Presently....the whole of the access roads inside Tin-Can Apapa is cement based because of the heavy exposure to articulated trucks laden with containers and all sort of heavy cargoes....below is a road made of cement inside Tin-Can. Despite the heavy abuse suffered by that road in the last 8 yrs....not a crack...talk less of a small hole is on it.

Nigerians are used to profound absurdities...nothing shocks nor surprises us anymore. |
alpontif: If your intention was to be enlightened, you will not have answered my post with an ad hominem..........Mofo, It will Cost you Millions to Understand Civil Engineering, this is not forex trading....so, shut the f** up!!KNUCKLEHEAD You are empty ....Stop spewing rubbish, apparently you are obviously shallow of the topic you claimed bogus knowledge of. You can keep claiming such bogus knowledge with your village folks...but not in this community. person. |
What remain na make PHCN no vex |
alpontif: If you are too dumb to understand my "rant'' , Then it will be better that you actually go back to school and study to become a Civil Engineer, If you are too dull to be admitted, that should tell you that your IQ is not high enough to poke your nose inside Civil Engineering Technicalities.Mr Expert.. This community is for information and knowledge sharing.....people have been sharing knowledge here that will cost millions in Naira to acquire in the real world....that is the spirit of NAIRALAND. All of us may no have your so called Technical expertise in civil engineering and road constructions...nevertheless..that doesn't make us less educated. So if you feel too big or knowledgeable in the field under discussion....you can scram off the thread....and allow those that can enlighten us do so!! |
malc619: Sexki Pls handle this people...I hope those ones are given a very lengthy ban.....they are serial offenders. Once you are not a first time offender....you should be handed with a longer ban. |
malawian0000001: afam the yorubaman banned me for 1 week and also hid two of my juicy posts, the ones i had more than 7 likes.Honestly...you should be banned from this community completely. All you and Willywilly do on this forum is stoking ethnic embers..... |
alpontif: This is what happens when non experts start to pontificate about issues that only qualified professionals can educate people on. In civil engineering terms, there is nothing like a ''Cement road", you basically have a rigid pavement(Concrete), or a flexible pavement(flexible), or a Composite pavement. There is a lot that goes into highway design and construction that is outside the realm of laymen, and the Surfacing you decide to use is a distant last. You decide to use any of the three based on the design conditions like lifespan, site conditions, economy, durability, etc. And the fact that you see 40% of the roads in the UK and us as rigid pavements do not mean the design conditions are the same. People should avoid discussing technical issues that they do not have the requisite expertise on. You don't start discussing the merits and demerits of sarbanes-oxley if you are not in the investment banking Industry, if you do, it makes you look stupid.Oga...exactly what are you talking about? You just kept rambling without an iota of sense. If you have information, share it with us and stop this your ITK verbiage. |
okpara ugo: I have never thought of that. but I think cement will out last asphalt. the concrete built filling stations last long. there is a mixture and technique for making it strong.... at the bold.Construction company don't buy cement in your 20kg standard packaging. They buy in bulk packaging directly from cement companies, transported in tankers to site. |
Ngwakwe: How will the dust oozing out from the road over time be managed considering high temperature and low humidity in our clime?Tar will still be spread on it.... I will snap a pix of our road today when I get to the office and you won't know. BTW.....the section of Oshodi/Apapa being handle by JB is using cement to make the road. |
Just imagine if we've been working along this path since independence.....and democracy was not cut short in Jan '66.. Eko ONI baje ooo Yorubaland will keep making progress. |
Tolexander: yeye people!I've always respect your comments in this community....but this one in quote here is a total disappointment... Anything that will force the FG to accede to ASUU/FG agreement should be explored...even if labour have to come in. All that the FG need to sit up is NUPENG, PENGASSAN AND NUEE to team up with ASUU. |
