Why can these people just dissolve the party amicably and stop dragging Nigeria into a precarious situation

IGBO-SON:
^^^Abegi make persin hia word! So the people that used all the dirty tricks in the book to scheme him out of contention for the APGA primaries.....they didn't seem desperate to you?

Anambra voters are well informed and they can vote for Soludo as Governor and still vote GEJ for President.

Nice one Soludo!
Election is just about two months away...yet the man is coming onboard with a new political party that is virtually non-existent at the moment in Anambra or anywhere whatsoever.

I don't know the miracle he will perform...without a well - grounded political machinery that is well oiled....all his alleged popularity and mass appeal will come to nothing.

The same people that ensured that he was denied the ticket both in PDP and APGA are still much interested in denying him the governorship on any platform he contest ..

I don't think that is a wise move on the part of the Prof....

He shouldn't be seen to be desperate for power..
PoliticsRe: Is Victoria Island Lagos An Island by Eledan: 9:31pm On Sep 01, 2013
naptu2: Dr William MacGregor was a colonial governor of Lagos. He was a medical doctor and so he was naturally interested in improving healthcare in Lagos.

One thing that particularly caught his attention was malaria. In order to combat this problem he embarked on a programme of "reclaiming" swamps and constructed a canal, The MacGregor Canal, that separated Lagos Island from Ikoyi Island.

You could get a ferry from Obalende, behind FRCN (the present Dolphin Estate), etc, to the mainland. Egun women fished in that canal.

Then the Gowon Administration embarked on a massive public works programme. They rebuilt Carter Bridge, built Eko Bridge, planned to build the 3rd Mainland Bridge and built a Ring Road to encircle the City of Lagos (at that time the City of Lagos was basically Lagos Island). The Ring Road starts at the foot of 3rd Mainland Bridge, goes past Ilubirin, past Obalende, Onikan and Marina and leads to Apongbon and the Eko Bridge.

In order to build the Ring Road, they had to fill in part of MacGregor Canal.

I wish I still had my 1974 Lagos map. The city was much different then.

I'll show you pictures.
I must admit...you are a human encyclopedia ...
ComputersRe: Opera Vs Mozilla Vs Google Chrome: Which Is The Fastest Web Browser? by Eledan: 8:45pm On Sep 01, 2013
Chrome does it for me anytime....I just love the layout on my ipad.

The best thing is that you can continue from where you stop with a device on another device...

E.g ..you are in the office and browsing with your laptop or PC...if you leave and enter the car...chrome on your linked device will open the last page you were on the laptop.

candiva2013: you need to think again if you think SE is minority. Forget about the past census that was manipulated for u guys just for political gains. Let me tell you, most people here don't even know the duties of a president hence they criticise GEJ, they are too ignorant to see the good works of GEJ, I don't blame them. The reason why most people criticise GEJ is because they are not happy that a s. southerner is the president, and they believe he is contesting again. This people believe that they supposed to be in power. If GEJ contests again, he will surely win, forget about your emotional permutations
You are the one guilty of "emotional permutations".. while also playing the ethnic card.

Show us how GEJ can win in 2015 if the current shape of event goes on as we approach 2015. Shikena...no emotional gibberish.

PDP is finished.....honestly without the power of incumbency ..I can't see how this party can win 25% in national elections.

All these officials are "yes men and women"

BTW,,,,which PDP faction is this? undecided
PoliticsRe: Atiku And 7 Governors Walk-out Of PDP Convention by Eledan: 9:52am On Sep 01, 2013

It surely not looking pretty for him.....he has allowed all sorts of political jobbers and hawks that thrive and flourish in chaos to take over his Presidency.

musiwa1h: The honest truth is, a lamido/amachie ticket will lead to civil war. there will be no peace in Nigeria. The first thing they will blow up are all of the bridges across the river niger and benue, there will be more than 10,000 bombing from the west and east. if i know nigeria very well. I am not saying you should vote for Jonathan. i am not a bias person.

I am just saying nigeria is at a point, where the only solution is to break up Nigeria back to the 3 unit. . Obasanjo is only saying so because he want to save his business.
Thank goodness....you've never given a correct prediction...this one too won't be different grin

Nepa Light: Shut up liar!! - Wikipedia is never a reliable source. I bet you don't even know every gorilla with pea size brain CAN edit Wikipedia and put up useless figures. The same Wikipedia told us Ijaws are more populated than the ibos.

Rivers = Shell, Total, Chevern, Agip

Akwa Ibom = Exxon Mobil

Bayelsa = Shell and Agip

Delta = Shell and Chevron

South East = Akpu and Red muds.

Show me one company with any live crude oil producing well in entire south east. Just show me ONE!! --- Nada!!
The dude is simply just acting on emotions without substance....

He is putting Imo in the league of oil producing state...but from all available record...Imo chances of becoming one is lower than the chances of Ekiti.

The only official oil producing states (marginal acreages) are Abia and Anambra....so he lied shamelessly with the the 3 he falsified.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Split This Country If He Looses In 2015 by Eledan: 9:03am On Sep 01, 2013
One_Naira: You're mentally challenged it look it. I am not even going to try to decipher what the Bleep this is suppose to say.
Not so fast...!

Hypocrites like you are far more dangerous than our thieving politicians...and must be silenced by well meaning Nigerians.

Where are the 3 SE States with crude oil....? You've conveniently ignored that question for reason that is not far fetched....you lied!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Split This Country If He Looses In 2015 by Eledan: 8:57am On Sep 01, 2013
One_Naira: First of South west have no crude oil. The ijaws in SW have crude oil. Don't try to steal other's property.
Limestone is irrelevant. Even Abia has limestone. Irrelevant
At least You finally answered my question. At least I now know you people are not just a bunch of dead weight waiting for others to feed you. You contribute small.

BTW: The Coal income alone demolishes the cocoa income so Shut up with the hurray in

THE profile of Nigeria’s cocoa export business sustained its rising trend last year, as the nation earned $900 million (N142 billion), against $882.9 million realised in the previous year, from the commodity’s trade in the global market.http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=115800:nigerias-cocoa-export-business-hits-900m&catid=31:business&Itemid=562
Classic example of the usual Akpu logic in bold... grin

So the Ijaws of SW brought the crude from SE?

Abeg...your hatred of SW is doing a damage to your reasoning ...
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Split This Country If He Looses In 2015 by Eledan: 8:47am On Sep 01, 2013
One_Naira: On one breath I lumped SS and SE together. Either you are blindly or you are deliberately trying to be silly. Last I checked, each of my reply listed the two region contribution SEPARATELY.

Ondo produces oil, I gave it to you guys but the section of Ondo that produces oil belongs to Ijaw. Shikena
Would you just keep shut... ,!

Which three states in the East produces crude-oil? How easy for some of you to lie..

Aside Abia that was credited with wells that ordinarily should be given to Rivers and Anambra that is still in dispute with Kogi...tell me the other SE state that produces oil...don't go mentioning Delta state.

Shameless liar!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Split This Country If He Looses In 2015 by Eledan: 8:25am On Sep 01, 2013
Nepa Light: He's ibo so don't.expect much from him.
Yes..I know him, not all Ibos are hypocrites like those we have here on NL tho'

They can't contribute much to the economy for the simple reason that their most productive assets...human capital have all but fled the region.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Split This Country If He Looses In 2015 by Eledan: 8:15am On Sep 01, 2013
One_Naira: The funny thing about you lot is that when other's put you on blast, you resort to calling SE. I'm not SE so you can shout SE all you want.
Resources alone
North provides the argiculture of this nation. Granted the nation still trade for food. The north are contributing something.
SE contributes oil in three states, coal and copper.
SS contributes oil in more than one states
SW contributes nothing. Other than the Ijaws in Ondo state region providing oil.

You can leave, you ain't giving anyone anyting. You can bust a vein all you want but leeches are leeches and I don't like leeches.

As for the Ondo being the most industrious state in Nigeria. LMFAO. You and I know that's a damn lie from the pit of hell. But like I been saying, good. we don hear. You can take it and leave
You just keep blabbing around the thread without the slightest idea of whatever message you wish to pass.

In one breathe...you want to lump SS and SE together by not agreeing with the geographical demarcation....in that same breathe...you want to ingeniously cut off Ondo out of SW...

HYPOCRITE like you are always easily spotted for who you are.... You are not clever though.
PoliticsRe: Clark Should Retire From Politics, Not Me — Obasanjo by Eledan: 8:02am On Sep 01, 2013

bokohalal: Is this true? I had a telephone conversation with someone in Nigeria about a month ago who claimed that Jonathan Goodluck is arming Ijaws to breakaway from Nigeria.
It's an open secret that the so called crude oil stealing currently at the highest level is meant to provide financial abilities to procure arms....
