APC gave Igbos only Two Commissioners in SIXTEEN YEARS. PDP gave Igbo and Urhobo three members of House of Reps in ONE DAY.

The difference is clear. JK is definitely OK.

Vote JK and commit the bastard oba's memory in the dustbin of history.

i fyou bothered to read my post well u'll see i said he's only entitled to leftovers. what part of this country do you think has the most number of oil blocks in this country. if he gets any oil block, then the northerners must have gotten enuff.

Y'all should relax, I have it on good authority the bomb is meant for the bastard oba of Lagos. They are just preparing an 'ogbunigwe' enough to blow the oba's bigoted àss to the lagoon, in the event an Igboman dies due to electoral violence in Lagos.

Your lack of manners come through in your post however facts need to be stated.

What evidence do you have that they are APC members? So was it a case that the Oba invited APC members or Igbos?

I gave u a source to go for info and u ar still doubting. The igbo leaders at the meeting said they were shocked bt they couldnt confront him at his palace cos it was inappropriate. Why do u think it took them long before they released a statement. Why do u think these mainstream groups are dragging him to NHRC if it ws merely a joke. U see all this tell-tale signs and u still think its a joke.

The oba is an APC supporter, I don't think APC membrs need invite b4 seeing him.

Your village is your village. Lagos is Lagos

Have you clarified why the igbos in the video were clapping for the Oba after the so called genocide instigation?

So apologising is what you want? If Oba instigates genocide he should be tried. In this case those present laughed and clapped...making such claims bogus in the face of evidence. It's more a case of Igbo ego vs Yoruba tradition (Obas don't apologise for making a statement) You will get apology if you can dethrone him

I don't know where u got this shiit u ar peddling. No sensible person would find those statements funny. Those pple clapping were yoruba APC members.

If it indeed it was a joke, it would long bern swept under the rug. The oba himself in the clarification didn't even say anyhing abt making a joke.

U insult us when u expect us to just ignore those despicable statements; especially when the person responsible shows no remorse.

Lol! I've followed this Oba/ lagoon talk like forever and now I want to comment.... Igbo people howfa nah? Them don apologize tire to us, them don beg us tire... What else do we want? Oba sef for don dey regret the statement. Why the whole flogging of the issue? Let us calm down. Vote whomever you want to. This is democracy, if you feel agbeje is d man that can better your life, go ahead and vote him.. Same applies to ambode.

Now to my Yoruba people, Una sef too dey talk... My he land is yours, who dey fight una? I know how hurt Una go dey feel with the "no man'a land" talk... You guys should take a chill pill.. The land is yours.... But also bear in mind that a city is a city... The house other tribes dey live in na free Or Una dey dash free lands Una dey follow dey pure fuel for this fire... I read a lot of tribalistic comments and I wonder how one human being go feel such hate for another tribe like that... Live and let's live people...

Lastly... You got bread? I'm starving!!!

Dont be a yoruba apologist because of ordinary bread biko. If u ar starving, meet any nwanna closest and ur problem will be taken care of. Regrdless of location, don't because of peanuts give up ur right in the very country whose contitution enshrines it.

The land they claim doesn't belong to them. It ws originlly founded by the Binis and they were merely brought as slaves. Until the binis come and claim whats rightfully theirs.....Lagos remains....A NO MAN'S LAND.

I personally don't hate yoruba, I just detest their perennial feeling of insecurity.

The video is an evidence and you will do well to watch it. Those who were in shock did not attend the meeting - and of course many were not invited including the head of Igbos in Lagos. Apparently Ohaneze met in Umaiah and issued a statement asking the Oba to retract his statement.

Basically everybody read the intent of the Oba in a particular way but those present read it in another way otherwise they wouldnt be clapping after such statements. The best evidence is the video and the reaction of those immediately threatened.

I think those statements were inapproriate but the people to whom it was made clapped away like zombies hence quashing any legal case of whatever some excited fellows have mentioned on NL

I failed to point out that d leaders interviewed were the ones who attended the meeting with oba. Moreover, they were not d only ones there. Other APC members some who are yoruba were present and were likely the ones who were hailing d oba. No sensible igboman would find those statements funny, infact they were very offensive.

And the first question a lawyer will ask you is why were the Igbos present laughing and even clapping for the Oba after the statement if it was a genocide against them?

Are they that foolish? So those in Abia are more threathened than those present?

Your case will be thrown out in a matter of minutes.

I don't know where u read ur news. Do well to read PremiumTimes. Some of the Igbo leaders interviewd were in shock by the oba's outburst. If it was a joke why are APC and other eminent personalities condemning and distancing themselves from his statement. The only reason he has not apologized is cos of d shame he has brought to the throne. He's probbly somewhere drinking away his sorrows.

This case is iron-clad.

N.B: I don't understand the Abia allusion u made.

While I consider you too crude to engage in reasonable discussion without insulting your elders.

To prove someones intent is one of the most difficult things to do in court. That's if you have any idea of legal cases.

And what was Kenyatta's judgement? He returned a celebrity despite the violence. Noise is not intelligence it's at best ignorance. keep making noise while Lagos advance and the Oba reigns.

to prove intent in this case is easy, he was caught on tape. He hasnt denied but rather sought to white-wash it. I know most of u endorse the bigotry of ur oba, bt the same fate will be urs if u ever show ur face in public and tow d same line.

No sitting president has ever stood trial at d Haque. Kenyatta went there out of fear. They were abt to issue a warrant for his arrest. If he returned dat means d prosecutors failed to prove their case against him. No biggie, bt oba's case wuld be different.

If u think i just make things up, go and read abt Slobodan Milosevic.

Your oba will soon be reigning from prison.

...and do you know that Benins are Yorubas ?

The Binis say they are your progenitors. they say that oduduwa whom you agree is your ancestor was a renegade prince from Benin kingdom. They point to his name which has a similar structure to benin names like Erediuwa, etc.

So far historical accts have lent more credence to their version:

The original people and founders of the Benin Empire, the Edo people, were initially ruled by the Ogiso (Kings of the Sky) dynasty who called their land Igodomigodo. The rulers or kings were commonly known as Ogiso. Igodo, the first Ogiso, wielded much influence and gained popularity as a good ruler. He died after a long reign and was succeeded by Ere, his eldest son. In the 12th century, a great palace intrigue and battle for power erupted between the warrior crown prince Ekaladerhan son of the last Ogiso and his young paternal uncle. In anger over an oracle, Prince Ekaladerhan left the royal court with his warriors. When his old father the Ogiso died, the Ogiso dynasty was ended as the people and royal kingmakers preferred their king's son as natural next in line to rule.

The exiled Prince Ekaladerhan, who was not known in Yoruba land, somehow earned the title of Oni Ile-fe Izoduwa which is now corrupt to yoruba language as Ooni (Oghene) of Ile-Ife Oduduwa and refused to return, then sent his son Oranmiyan to become king. Prince Oranmiyan took up his abode in the palace built for him at Usama by the elders (now a coronation shrine).....

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benin_City

Somehow the yoruba narrative about oduduwa's seem to corroborate their version:

Oral history of the Oyo-Yoruba recounts the coming of the Oba Oduduwa from the east...

no one is really sure where in particular but its a fact d benin kingdom is east of yorubaland.

well the binis disagree. they say it was merely a land they converted into a war-camp for their warriors and that the aworis were slaves brought to the camp.
