Igbos just took another L after an Igbotic supermod spammed this useless thread on FP.

Crying is therapeutic...just as Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley, one of the greatest army generals ever, also cried.

However, Ojukwu remains the biggest coward who ever liveth.

Ojukwu fled................................he'll forever be remembered for that. grin

Shalom!

its only a cowardly general dat cries for his behind to be spared after trying to pull of a coup. Even junior officers like Dimka, Orkar were not this pathetic at their execution. This is outright shameful. No wonder he retired to his village and nobody hears abt him. He is a disgrace to the yoruba nation. That u even had the effrontery to defend and justify his cowardice shows d yoruba tribe is beyond saving. Pathetic bunch of wimps.

Therapeutic my behind.

But did they flee, while leaving their troops behind, at the mercy of the enemy?

How about put ya money where ya mouth is and post academic proofs?

Napoleon was a warrior. Yes, he did lose some wars but he never did an Ojukwu.

Ojukwu, apart from being a coward, who had to hide from bunker to bunker throughout the duration of the war, he fled like a biitch, with his troops and a whole nation left at the mercy of the enemy. That's just cowardly and wicked.

lol....Napoleon fled to Island of St. Helena when defaeted by Wellesly while Chiang fled to Fomosa nw called Taiwan when defated by Mao Ts Tsung. So if they fled...that makes them a coward too??

Ojukwu fled when d war was lost. Captain Nwobosi one of the conspirators during the 1966 coup (he was d one dat killed Akintola) attested that some of the senior officers including Effiong the deputy had to literally force Ojukwu into d plane when Nigerian army was closing fast on the LAST Biafran territory. They saw what happened to Nzeogwu and Ironsi when they were both captured. So Ojukwu is a cowrd because he refused to surrender to be butchered like Nzeogwu and co....smh

Madiebo, Effiong and other biafran officers' grouse against Ojukwu is not dat he fled. It was abt d way d war was conducted. They felt Biafra would have put up more resistance if Ojukwu had been amenable to other war strategies.

Ojukwu is not a coward. There is no yoruba military officer who comes even close to his courage and pedigree.

U pple hate on him cos he did what ur yoruba officers cannot summon the courage to do.

Nah, an army officer, especially a war-time general should NEVER flee from the battle-field.

Only cowards do that. You either fight till the end, or surrender.
by ur assertion that means the great French general Napoleon Bonaparte, the founder of Taiwan Chiang Kai Shek and other defeated military leaders who fled or went into exile after putting up a fight AT FIRST...are all cowards

Stop giving excuses to cover up ur pple's history of cowardice. Its well documented and inherent in ur genes.

very hard to stay non-tribalist when reading lots of comments from ndigbo people. ok say hello to my lil frennnnnnnnn

ndigbo but i am sure you will not consider benjamin adekunle the black scorpion as a coward. the man was known to bring terror to the heart of strong ndigbo men. in fact i hear when ndigbo dream of adekunle the scorpion at night they break out in cold sweats and fear and start shivering
grin grin

is dat d best u can come up with?? cheesy cheesy

adekunle's exploits just like those of his other kinsmen were only achieved thru British and American support for Nigeria. He was a maniacal chest-beater who was at advantage and was keen to show it off. Moreover, during the war he was taking the glory for the exploits of an Ijaw officer, Adaka Boro in the creeks of present-day South South.

We've seen ur pple's capacity for 'bravery'. Believe me, its not worthing boasting abt.

And I dont think u speak for those who have less opportunties as u do. They are the ones who bear the brunt of d attacks....not you.

You people make me laugh because of your shameless penchant for lying to yourselves even in the face of facts a balanced child of 5 can see the logic of. You are talking ignorantly about the "numerical strength of d north" yet where do you put the fact that GEJ won 5 out of 6 States in the SW in 2011, while Buhari won not even a single SW state, only for GEJ to win only one State out of six in the SW in 2015 with Buhari winning the other 5? People like you will be hard to respect or even reckon with beyond the 2015 election with your utterances that show you are bitter and undemocratic losers plus 100% creatures of sentiments and prejudice totally unwilling to respects facts and logical reality.

evoking 2011 elctions makes no sense...because Buhari's CPC was ALMOST non-existent outside d north.

2015 elections' result (with d formation of coalition called APC) was clearly based on tribal lines. You know it even as much as u wont admit it. The S'west wasnt decisive bt the north with d help of under-age voters ensured record turnout.

APC's 'change' was achieved thru d numerical advantage of a region. So i say again....legitimate mandate my behind.

Indeed. One thing these hateful elements cannot understand is that Buhari is not here to focus on jailing people. With the fine minds behind Buhari, he will be the father of modern Nigeria, like Mustafa Kemal Ataturk became to Turkey, who will initiate many reforms that will set our nation on the path of greatness. This is what will shame and forever haunt the haters and anti-Nigerian elements who , despite losing to the majority, cannot understand that democratic governance demands that they should get behind the choice of the people, who has the legitimate mandate to lead Nigeria, and give him a chance to deliver.

He had the chance to initiate far-reaching reforms as a military ruler when it was easier. Now his every move will be scrutinized, frustrated or even outrightly sabotaged by opposition. Then with d power of decree he could put in place whatever he wanted with no opposition whatsoever. Rather he spent most of his time trying to cower Nigerians into fear and submission.

It was a military dictator, Augusto Pinochet back in the 80s dat is credited with putting Chile into d path of becoming d developed country it is. Even the Ataturk u likened him to was a dictator.

This fine minds u ar talking abt are they not d same criminals who have been around since 1999? That they decamped to APC to seek relevance does it mean they have changed??

@bolded.... D only reason GEJ lost was down to numerical strength of d north. Ntin else. Legitimate mandate my behind.

Sorry bt i refuse to fall to d bullshìt narrative abt 'change'.

Igbo are the most politically predictable ethnic group on earth; they always align with the center without a clear-cut agenda and interest- sentiment drives their support, not objectivity.

We all have sentiment and hatred subtly built in us against other tribes/regions as Nigerians(it is natural though) , but the igbo nation took their hatred for others to a record new level in the last election.

"Igbo girls like money" Does my post mean I'm being tribalistic? Why do you people take things to the extreme? I can call any tribe but that does not mean I being tribalistic, did I say Yoruba girls don't like money? Why do you like falling a victim? Because I mentioned igbo now, I'm a tribalist. So I shouldn't mention igbo again because of you? Everything now is tribal war? Please grow up, I can mention any tribe that I want because I see ourselves as one.

Please behave yourself and remove the hatred, you don't need to insult me cos there is no harm in what I wrote.

mr. Ignoramus....stereotyping is a form of bigotry. If u werent so narrow-minded u shuld know NOT ALL Igbo girls are like that and many wont accept dat label not even as a joke.

If I were to write "yoruba girls are dirty", how do u think most yoruba girls would take it?? Do u expect them to see it as a joke and move on??
