Well, I don't know what to do

This is serious. I am just wondering what might be the reason for the delay because decision mail came in before this unrest.

I did my Biometrics on the 30th of Sept at Ikeja, got Decision mail 19/10 and no collection mail since then. Who else is in my shoes and how do you plan to proceed from here.

Please has anyone gotten collection mail for those that did Biometrics on 30/9/2020 at Ikeja Tls?

I am not actually new here,

Today again,I saw af as it's been for the past 5 months after a miscarriage at 21 weeks..

A baby that I lost at birth because she was too small to survive

Today makes it exactly 5 months,it was on a Sunday like this,started with cramps a day before,and before the day ended,I lost a baby I had been looking for for the past 3 years...

It's been hell and I almost died primarily because I know what it took me before I got pregnant,and God did it, miraculously only a month after I did HsG,I conceived naturally ,my dreams of becoming a mother came alive,it was as if I was dreaming,a month went by,by the time I was two months,I was already showing, people rejoiced with me.. and then at 5 months,the devil struck...my joy was cut short..
My baby girl died, at almost 22 weeks,plus,she didn't even see me,could have been saved by a cervical cerclage the Doctors said..

Here I am again,five months later,period not even regular again,ranging from 24-32 days interval

Can't even live again,I try as much as possible but 5 months later,still the same .......

Started trying immediately but here we are....

Would have put to bed by now.EDD September....


God,this is too much pains ......I do not deserve to go through all this....

I don't have the right words to say to you, but I pray that God sends the Holy Spirit the Comforter to comfort you. I was exactly where you are 5 years ago. I lost my son at 28 weeks, EDD was September also so I can relate to your pain.

I pray that God replaces your loss with a child who will stay, bring smiles to your face and beautiful memories to your home. Take heart dear, it will get better. Sending love and light.

Please my transcript was not listed as one of the documents to present during biometrics. Should I still carry it along? Also the part that states online enrollment, do i need to show proof that I have enrolled online?

If you select that you're married, you'll be asked for your spouse's details and this is usually okay if your spouse needs to join or travel with you to the UK. You don't necessarily need to fill your spouse in as a financial dependant if they are not your financial dependant.
It only becomes a problem if you don't list your spouse's details in the spouse section.

I listed his details. Whew. Some relief thanks for the clarification.

That dependant aspect on the form is confusing given the conflicting meanings of the word. Someone posted in this form addressing this, I can't remember whom so you can search for the comment, but it was along the lines of your issue.

It is really confusing, I just thought about it now and sharply came online to clarify. Thanks for your input, i appreciate.

Please I need to clarify something, while filling my application, I saw where they asked if I had dependant(child, aged parents, etc but no where was husband included, so i filled no). Does this mean hubby would not be allowed to join me?

I think something is wrong somewhere for Coventry... I have not seen anybody they issue CAS for, the first bank statement I gave them expired, they message me to present another one , do we even have anybody that has gotten CAS in Coventry ? They’re opinion that we should do our enrollment online , Note to all applicant , if you do online enrollment you will not be able to claim your fund again, have been seeing there series of email to sign up for enrollment but I have let them know that without CAS no enrollment so we could ask for refund , hoping they will get back , do we have anybody that has collected CAS in Coventry ? Pls help

I hope this response is not late. At the moment Coventry University is overwhelmed. I had to continually disturb them every single day, sometimes twice a day through that chat platform on the University's website for international student.

I will advice that you do same, that's only when you would most likely get an early response. You can send a mail but you won't get a feedback till after about two weeks or more so it's pointless.

You can also call their international office but keep in mind that the line is often busy. So load your phone with sufficient airtime because you might be on a queue for as much as 30mins.

Biometric and interview day: August 6
August 20: got a non straightforward email
August 26: Application transferred to Vac
August 27: Collection mail and text popped in.
August 28: Testimony day

Why not use paga verve option at payment option. The rate is far better and cheaper. That's what I used . As at yesterday, the rate was 380 to a dollar

Please how did you get the paga verve card? Does it have a monthly limit?

Been awhile..I think i responded to his enquiry and adviced him to request for a course change and a new CAS. COV might refuse his request to change when enrolling.

You have to inform Coventry on your change of course. They will reissue you another CAS which might take a while.

Note that Coventry won't let you change courses when you have resumed. So it's better to inform them now or stick to the course you chose.

I know there could be delays in issuing CAS due to high vol of application.

Have you checked If admin offices are open, schools are closed to lectures but some admin offices and non academic staff are workin. Just check to be sure

I have checked and everywhere is locked. I am surprised myself, i also thought they ought to be working but everywhere is like a desolate village.

@Elff You need to speak to your school about the situation and try to meet up the rest of any pending conditions on your offer letter. Some schools will accept your original certificate and allow you to enroll while waiting for your transcript.Especially with the COVID situation, i think a solid email to the administration team will do the work. Remember to set the ball rolling so that once your Undergrad school resumes admin activities, your transcript will be processed.

I noticed in your previous post you said you will switch courses during enrollment, please double check that this can be done before proceeding as well,some schools are really strict on this and some departments may require more information than the others. Confirm again that this is possible or request a new offer for your preferred choice

I have tried speaking with their agents in Nigeria but none seems to have a solid response. I even sent mails and try to chat them up online, they keep saying i should fulfill all other conditions.

On my offer, the only condition I need to meet is paying the initial deposit. They didn't request for my transcript.

I just don't want any surprises that's the reason I am trying to get a reassurance from them.

Admin offices are closed. You know the attitude of government workers... Been there several times and i keep getting welcomed by closed doors.

Nevertheless, I am hopful, and i will try to worry less as things are totally beyond my control. Thank you duchess90.
