Family › Re: 3 Days After Our Wedding, My Wife Can't Stop Crying by Elgaxton(m): 2:04pm On Feb 23, 2016 |
yommys01: I got married on Saturday 20th of February 2016. We were in an hotel till Monday, wanted us to stay longer but she refused saying she wants to go home ( that used to be my house).
Ever since we got home yesterday ( Monday), she has been crying. Called her mom, she prayed for her, my mom called her too and prayed for her.
She stopped crying for a while, we woke up with another round of crying this morning.
This is breaking my heart. I hate to cry as it often leads me to depression now I am close to tears myself.
I don't know if I have done something wrong or what to do. It is hurting as she cries.
When we were dating, she finds it difficult without her family for long " oh, I am already missing my dad, I am already missing my siblings" could this be the reason?
One day she came to mine from home as we have Dr appointment early and she lives in another state, she got to mine and 1 hour later she wanted to go home. "I am missing my dad sha" which got me annoyed then.
Could it be that the crying now is linked? She is 25 and I am 30 and we spent quite some time together before marriage. The fact we used to be together for so long makes it more confusing. This is a house she has always been in why the crying now?
It is hurting me. Badly and I am confused.
What do I do? Oh well! She will get over it... If e too hard form your own cry too and see her response. |

Mavelshee: It was on a sunday afternoon during this xmas holiday. My wife and I decided get a little kinky because honestly we havnt had some good actions for a really long time. So my wife asked Martha our nanny to take the kids to our neighbours house upstairs for some play time and bring them back by 6pm. Kpa kpa kpa kpa kpa we don comot cloth, kpo kpo kpo kpo kpo kpo we don start pre-intimacy, and that was when it happened oo....Our 10yrs old son just opened the door "mum can I have some....." and saw his mum leaning on the edge of the bed crying and his dad eating his mums buttoks. Lo and behold this little dude just paused and thereafter there was a big grin + disgust on his face. My wife hasn't stopped crying oo, mostly because she thinks this kind of scenerio can eff up kids chemistry n stuffs. Plus he now looks at me somehow whenever we are together. I hope he doesn't tell the others what he saw.
So please nairalanders how can I explain or brainwash my kid about what he saw that day. Always lock your door with bolt or key no matter who's in or out. My son will definitely ask "Daddy what are you doing to mummy?" |

jidesp: I wish this makes FrontPage though
I just had to post this. I hope every employer and employee can learn from it and put their acts together and fulfil their obligations without prejudice..
I know because our people are far backward, even some so called educated people wouldn't dare learn anything outside their main, It is a bad idea doing that. Man must continue learning, it is the only way to keep whatever is Natural about man in existence, we must evolve.
Ooops sorry for taking your through my brooding. OK I want you any Employee to understand this due to a question raised so many times on Nairaland.
In Nigeria, If your boss strikes you, then he/she has committed assault and you need to file charges. Calmly call the police and file a report.
The police are likely to come and take a statement. If there is a great deal of evidence (mark on your face, a cut, witnesses to the event, etc) your boss will be arrested and taken to jail. You may be terminated; however most companies wouldn't dare to immediately fire an employee who was struck by a member of the management team. They would instead start an investigation, which would likely lead to the termination of the manager.
Even if the police do not arrest your employer, contact your HR department immediately. Tell them what occurred and strongly request that action be taken. Also, ask for the remainder of the day for personal reasons and contact an attorney. You may have the makings of a civil suit against both your boss as well as the company.
Do NOT hit your boss back. The urge to do so will be great, but you need to be the mature and professional person in this situation that your supervisor was not. Call the authorities and let them handle this. I doubt if this will work in Naija since the boss is a friend to the police |

Happy Sunday
culled from: http://www.sharegist.com/happy-sunday-is-having-sex-as-couple-before-going-to-church-godly-or-ungodly/ It is very very Godly according to the bible, infact what is ungodly is denying any of the parties involved of sex 1Corinthians 7:1 Now as to the matters of which you wrote me. It is well [and by that I mean advantageous, expedient, profitable, and wholesome] for a man not to touch a woman [to cohabit with her] but to remain unmarried. 2 But because of the temptation to impurity and to avoid immorality, let each [man] have his own wife and let each [woman] have her own husband. 3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights (goodwill, kindness, and what is due her as his wife), and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 For the wife does not have [exclusive] authority and control over her own body, but the husband [has his rights]; likewise also the husband does not have [exclusive] authority and control over his body, but the wife [has her rights].5 Do not refuse and deprive and defraud each other [of your due marital rights], except perhaps by mutual consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves unhindered to prayer. But afterwards resume marital relations, lest Satan tempt you [to sin] through your lack of restraint of sexual desire. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Jide Macaulay, Nigerian Gay Pastor Writes Letter To Homophobes With Bible Quotes by Elgaxton(m): 6:08pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
hi everyone, The word of God is the final seal for any situation, laws God gave the Jews were to arouse their understanding to know that the wrong things they were doing were wrong before His eyes. Nevertheless, if we want to talk about this thread in view of the New Testament, we will have to check Romans 1, from verse 27. Its better to read the whole chapter 1 to grasp the understanding of what led to this other verses. 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Verse 32 is for those of you who don't practice these acts but commend those who practice them. 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them |
Music/Radio › Re: A Top Nigerian Artist Just Offered Him 5M To Buy His Song... Should He Sell? by Elgaxton(m): 11:25am On Apr 04, 2015 |
lagos360: A friend has been into music for like eternity. He'd always sing for us (friends). He's an IT guy, not that he's making millions but fairly comfortable. He was into a very serious relationship last year and composed a song that he meant to be played on his wedding day. Unfortunately things went sour and the relationship was ended. He finished the song about two weeks ago. We convinced him to put it online and the response has been small but exciting. Thing is, he got an email, then a call from one of the current top 10 artist in the Nigerian music industry offering to buy the song for 5 Million naira cash.
Point is, cos of the response he's been getting from the song, he's thinking of recording an album. We've been talking of taking the songs to radio stations (we understand it's not going to be free and we could pull it off to get a fair amount of airplay).
I don't want to sound arrogant but 5M while quite an amount isn't enough I think. This song in question is the type of song that's just different and unique in its own way. I think my friend's song can shape his music career just like "African Queen" shaped 2Baba's career. Can your friend sing? Possibly yes, does he have the clout to make the song sell for more than five million if he sings it? Maybe Yes/No. If he can sing and get 5 million then he should sell the song to the artist for a higher amount and then write another song and sing. Not everyone who can write can sing and not everyone who can sing can sing enough to bring in money. Most of the western musicians don't write their songs, they buy the songs they sing. |

IYADARA: I have a six month old baby who watches keenly while hubby and I enjoy our 'quickies' but these days i get set back and often loose concentration because i feel someone is watching...hubby on his part would say babies at this stage understand nothing... ?
Do you think is too early to start putting a break to such?
Did i mention walking naked most time is our routine?
When do babies start giving meanings to what they see? Never let your kids watch you while having sex no matter how young. My kid will just re-echo every sound heard us make if we allow him watch, his always like: Daddy what are you doing to mummy any time I wanna hug |
