Webmasters / Re: A Ban On 10-49K Website Design by Elgaxton(m): 6:03am On Jan 04, 2013
Interesting! I dont think banning anyone cos he /she has a lesser price is fair, think about it. You charge 50k and above and get fewer website
jobs while they charge like 10k and get more jobs done yet not with so much profit as you.

As for me, whenever a client approaches me with that 10k website bru-ha-ha, I have just a simple phrase for them. " Oga but you know how 10K website go be"

Its an open field brother! You just have to learn the ART of BOOTSTRAPPING in business cool
A professional business man will never pay 10K for a good website.

Travel / Dana Air Resumes Flying Tomorrow Friday January 4th by Elgaxton(m): 10:03pm On Jan 03, 2013
An official of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr James Shallangwa, has revealed that Dana Air will resume flight operation on Jan. 4. Shallangwa, Head of Commercial at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Internatonal Airport, Abuja, made this known in an interview with reporters in Abuja.

According to him, the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, had issued a resumption letter to the airline to recommence operation after its plane crashed in Lagos on June 3, 2012. The first flight would take off from Abuja, adding that there was nothing wrong in the airline re-emerging after an accident that claimed lives and property.

One Mr Tony Usidamen, the Head, Corporate Communications, Dana, who confirmed the development, said the resumption came after necessary approval was received from the Federal Government. Mr Kayode Adeniran, the Dana Station Manager at the NAIA, also confirmed the development. He said that the airline would resume its inaugural flight at 9:45a.m. on Jan. 4.

It will be recalled that the Federal Government, through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), had revoked the company’s operation license pending proper investigations into a crash in Lagos on June 3, 2012, which killed all 153 passengers and crew. However, in September 2012, the Federal Government reinstated the Airline’s license and allowed it to resume without any flight operations. In December 2012, NCAA issued a new Air Operators Certificate to Dana Air after it completed the necessary recertification processes.

Politics / Re: In Your Own Views, What Actually Is Nigeria's Problem? by Elgaxton(m): 10:21pm On Dec 16, 2012
Slizbeat: Apart from the boko haram menace that has claimed most of the deaths in 2012, that of crashes has also joined. Just the last half of the year 2012, nigeria has recorded 4 crashes. That of DANA airline killing 158 on board and over 40 on ground, Oil company Helicopter killing some foreign Investors and Oil Mogul, private jet of taraba state governor Danbaba Suntai leaving him Brain-damaged and yesterday's air mishap at bayelsa killing former NSA rtd. Gen. Andrew Owoye Azazi and Executive and first christian governor of kaduna state, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa among Others. Now in your own views, what actually is the problem? Is it PDP? Is it ACN? Is it the North? Is it the South? Is it the East? Is it the West? Is it 1914 Amalgamation? Is it 1967 civil war? Is it the sins of the Nation? Is it GEJ? Is it OBJ? Is it Buhari? Is it Me? grin Is it the Pastors(those in disguise) and the judges? But on a serious Note, is much, what do you think?

Its simply the mindset of the people called Nigeria, until their minds are renewed, sorry no hope.
Religion / Re: Is It Right For Jonathan To Kneel At Redeemed Camp by Elgaxton(m): 2:47pm On Dec 16, 2012
pimp_lucious :
How silly Of President Jonathan To Go On His Knees At Redeemed Camp Again

I am watching Channels TV News@10 and the sight before me is highly disappointing!!!!!

After waving and smiling sheepishly to the crowd and delivering his score-card speech, the shoeless fool once again knelt down with all of his Presidential anointing in PUBLIC before Pastor Adeboye. VERY DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Does this man knows the implication of that singular action on the psyche of the 150M Nigerians, many of whom are muslims and men of other faith, whose sovereignty he holds for them in trust?

This man is truly very foolish and a clown

You are the silly and untrained one, how can you say that your president is silly for kneeling before a man of God,
if you are ignorant of what a relationship between a President and Man of God should be then read the book of

Religion / Re: Is Dancing ' Azonto & Kukere ' In Church Appropriate ? by Elgaxton(m): 4:50pm On Dec 03, 2012
acidosis™:
I have made up my mind never to attend some churches again...

These are churches I so much admire but I found out lately that worldliness is now the order of the day..
Tears almost dropped from my eyes seeing Christians (youths especially) using these dance steps right in front of G.O ..

The other day, I was in a Church where the keyboardist played a D'banj beat - Oliver twist . .and the whole scene look just like a remix..

..is there something am missing? cos some people believe it is good to do these things in THE CHURCH OF GOD.."atleast we are glorifying God" "it is better to do these things so our youths don't end up in clubs"..
ok then, can we also smoke/drink in church?? atleast we wouldn't be going out there in the midst of sinners.. since the Bible says we shouldn't mingle with unbelievers.

Please I will appreciate cogent answers and arguments..

Honestly speaking I get pissed off when people want to conver the church of God to a glorified club, as a keyboard player. I purposely made up my mind not to learn the African Genre of music called AWILO. Why? anytime I hear the beat and awilo music in general, I just have this picture of ladies is Pants and Bra dancing. I don't think this in anyway depicts the purpose for worship. Nevertheless, this is my own view of it all cos someone else may genuinely be caught up in WORSHIP ECSTASY while such music is going on. Infact some pastors don't even know the music as awilo, they just feel it as a nice groove.

Bottom-line is that God is interested in what is in your heart and as the bible declares, He that worships God must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Religion / Re: Why Do Christian Men Remove Their Cap In Church? by Elgaxton(m): 4:42pm On Dec 03, 2012
Mr_Anony:
It is church tradition. Read 1 Cor 11:4-16

Excerpts:

4. A man dishonors his head if he covers his head while praying or prophesying.......

........16. But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no other custom than this, and neither do God’s other churches.

Well, verse 16 actually shows that it doesn't count, whether you cover your head or not God is more interested in your human spirit.

16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Emphasis on the bolded part.

Thank you!

Emmy9ite: Yes we can, how?
1. Be the change you want to see in Nigeria

2. Never speak negative about the president, the government and other leaders, try as much as possible to be positive at all times.

3. If you really wanna change Nigeria, start by changing yourself. Refuse to give or collect bribe, report fraudulent cases to the right agencies. In two words.... BE PATRIOTIC!
I laugh in Capital letters. HAHAHAHA
