We have three types. I love to teach in lay man's language.

1. Car battery known as lead acid.

2. Deep cycle battery

3. Lithium ion battery. Like those found in laptop.

On a lighter note, you can start small to power one or two things.

Get a trailer or car battery,
Get a 100 watts panel
Get a charge controller
Get the cables . You can ask them at the market.
And get a small inverter 200-500 watts
This should power a laptop and give you light .

So that's how small it can be .

You can always get them one by one.


I suggest this because I have seen some use it.

It's ok.

All of us can't use lithium battery. Car battery can start it.
