I celebrate you dear. Keep at it even though you get exasperated. While pursuing your degree, please identify other things that you enjoy doing so that you don't get bored. It's a long ride you know. Your life shouldn't be about class, church and library alone. Look for other things that tickle your fancy. Could be running an NGO, designs, writing or even get a certification in arbitration, mediation or reconciliation.
I wish you all the best. I believe in you.
Be back here in the next 5 years with a photoshoot of your wig and gown. All the best
Thank you so much, I will involve myself in extra curricular activities now. I was just scared if I'll finally get to my LLB. Glad it's happening.

My journey in pursuit of a Law degree began three years ago. Its materialization was obstructed many a time but the option of giving up was an illusion, this is a story of doggedness and perseverance.

In the year 2020, after UTME, my chances of getting into Law were slim due to my performance, my score was high but not high enough, and I was exempted from admission. Fresh tears.

In 2021, I pursued Law at the University of Uyo as a Diploma student. The school system was far below average, my school life was a tripartite arrangement, from class to home to church. No extracurricular activities, I didn't even know 10% of my coursemate's names, little fun, I never enjoyed school.

The examination came, prior to this time, I gradually lost interest in school and the program, I stopped attending classes, but there was still seriousness amid truancy. Results came, I aced it distinctly, fair, and square, and I cleared my major courses with all A's. Those in tertiary institutions know what it means to smell an A, talk more, an A of 80+, I got it though.

I didn't know how it happened but I felt like dropping out, even with my excellent performance. Life as a Diploma student at the University of Uyo is like pushing one into frustration and depression, too much indifference by the school regarding student's welfare. Diploma - LLB transition is like trying to pass an Oraimo cord in a machine needle.

2022 came, and I opted to start afresh, UTME wasn't a big deal, I had gone past that level, and intellectually, I can't perform less. I pegged my anticipated score at 300, but the results came, and I was few marks to it. All right, that was terrific.

After ASUU strike ended in 2022, my ambition of dropping out hit again. But then, what will people say? Too many questions and pressure on me. Well, I cared less. I know what I'm doing, I don't care about opinions, and I discreetly and flawlessly dropped out as a Diploma student in Faculty of Law, University of Uyo, no regrets.

My guess was right, questions came, "Why are you not in school"? My reply to you depends on how sensitive and sensibly you asked me and your locus standi, if not, you and I will combat. Don't ask me, it's not your school and it's not your going.

Conclusively, In the long run, it will be right to say, Congratulations to me for never giving up. Everything I planned manifested, admission, everything... This succinct storyline is 30% of what I saw, but I conquered it. I'll be going back to the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo to continue what I started.

Many times, I gave up, and many times, I got bittered. But ahead ahead, it's not how fast but how far. The journey has been activated in full once again, I don't tolerate mediocre performances. The Law is to influence society, not just about myself, I can't settle for less.

When you feel like giving up, don't, hold on and do it.

It's been God and hardwork, Congratulations to myself, go and soar, do what you know how to do best. They shall hear your name. I welcome myself back to the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo.

LLB in view.

Nairalanders, share in my joy.

I was with my mum today when a couple stopped by to pick something, the guy had noticeable wounds and was limping, when he wanted leaving, he said, I'm not fine oh... My mum asked the girl if they fought again, the audacity, pride and strength of her "Yess" blew me off.

The little moment I waited for them to leave so we could start our gossip felt like rapture. I finally asked, did the girl use charm on him, my mum laughed at me with a "I don't know ohh" answer. The girl will fight him even when she's wrong literally all the time and he will beg that she shouldn't leave. Finished man.

I'll also recommend deodorants I know with pictures later. Avoid creams with "hydroquinone" as one of the ingredients.

I want to place emphasis on cleaniness, oftenly, it's said to be next to godliness.

Nigerians keep complaining that they can't give their partners head because they're dirty down there. The vagina is said to be naturally infected while the dick is supposedly clean. The double standards doesn't speak good, if a dick can be cleaned, why can't a vagina be clean, the God that created both made one clean and another dirty?

Everything boils to cleaniness. For instance, I wore a white boxer on Monday to work, I deliberately wore it till Tuesday morning, when I was about taking my bath, I inspected the undies, no stain down there, no odor at all, contrary to what I read online, I curiously re-inspected and sniffed again, yet, odorless and stainless, but white oh.

How? I shave when it's bushy, I wash my pubic region and wash my ass hole with water daily while taking bath, dry it with no cream then wear boxers before going out. When urinating, I make sure to drop all urine and shake my penis before putting it back so it wouldn't drop on my boxers and cause it to stink. I don't wear one boxer more than 24 hours.

I was team natural, courtesy of brokeness, didn't have money to spend on roll on and body spray. Though I sweat when it's hot under my armpits but don't stink unless I sniff my armpit, but the sweat will be much till it rolls down. One day I went to bank, it was stuffy, my armpit sweat rolled down and I was shy to raise my hands, because I was on a queue and was thinking, what if I stink and inconvenience the next person? Sunny day, overcrowded plus no AC.

I knew I had to put an end to team natural in case of scenarios like this, I hustled and sacrificed money to buy Nivea roll on and a cheap body spray. Nivea roll on is the best. I wore white shirt throughout yesterday, it was sunny but the roll on prevented perspiration, I inspected my shirt again after the day, no armpit sweat map, I was self impressed, I'm neat.

Hitherto, ladies should learn to wash their vagina very well, stop saying the vagina IS MEANT to stink, get rid of the fowl odor, wash regularly, change your undies daily. Take your bath twice when you're menstruating. Everyone should learn to use roll on and body spray.

Two partners that want to engage in MouthAction must first take bath, both parties, MouthAction shouldn't be everytime too. But some people, on a sunny day, you off your pants, the sweat, the smell, everything, and start sucking each other, see you see infection. See you see fish smell.

The pubic region isn't meant to smell, your armpit unless you've a medical defection isn't meant to stink, if you naturally stink, visit a hospital, if you don't have money, use sprays, etc. Take care of yourself.

A girl once sat on my laps and I perceived a foul odor oozing out from her vagina, I nearly puked as it was nauseating, I couldn't tell her. If she's wearing cloths and still stinking this much, what if she offs her pant?

Ladies and gentlemen, avoid bleaching creams, the hydroquinone peels your skin layer and leaves you with a foul odor, you stink irresponsibly.

I'm inspired to write this because I believe I'm clean and still trying to be more neat, I hate dirty things and hate people more, they're disgusting. My body spray is cheap, I went this morning to upgrade it to a brand I heard is good, "Riggs body spray", the vendor said it's 2k, I've come back to save money for it.

Please, in all you do, learn to be clean, body odor and pubic region odor isn't good for a good personality, we're good personalities.

Hello Nairalanders, this will be an appreciative cum informative thread. In case you missed my former post, this is the link...
https://www.nairaland.com/7617381/experience-vote-buying-akwa-ibom/6#121889809

When I made the aforemention post the night after the national elections, it wasn't accompanied with any monetary intention. It was just me trying to pen down the Nigerian electoral process to the world... While beckoning on citizens to uphold integrity...

I was shocked when few well meaning Nairalanders demanded my account details and subsequently dashed me underserved funds as an appreciation for not selling my vote, I say thank you, I was overwhelmed and I said truly, integrity pays. God bless you all.. I will keep doing good, this is a big lesson.

I'm in my ab initio 20's, I'm done with the phase one of my legal education, kicking off pursuit of the full degree by September. I had wondered what I would do with the more or less six months break, I wanted to venture into a business that would grow and aid me once I get back to school.. I had been saving and planning while also praying to God for a miracle...

On Sunday Eve, I was overwhelmed by how much love Nairalanders showed me, I added the token with the money I had to start a liquor business today, I believe it will grow and I'll forever remain grateful to the good souls in this forum.

Those that laughed at me for rejecting money at the polls and my candidate still lost awfully will now watch me grow while the 5k they collected might have finished since Saturday. Integrity and honesty pays...

Attached below is the picture of my business....

God Bless Nairaland.

Vote buying is a tradition in Akwa Ibom. PDP are the masters of vote buying, that's why the Party is like religion in the state.
Here in Ikot Abasi, I wasn't surprise that they bought votes. What surprised me was that they pay in cash - mint 1000 naira New Notes.
Once they flaunt the money before you, the smell alone will attract you to collect it. When you touch it, you'll know that it comes direct from CBN. Yet people are suffering and crying everyday looking for money to withdraw.
They paid in cash because during presidential election, most of us voted Peter Obi and still collect the 2500 PDP transfered to their members. This time around, they even bribed INEC officials to allow them watch what you vote. I didn't have any other candidate in mind, so I collected their money and vote the HAPPY HOUR governor, even though I don't like the way he was imposed on us by Udom.
This country will never get it right politically because the followers are the major problem, not the leaders. If I manage to leave this God forsaken country, I will NEVER come back.
Imagine, new naira notes. undecided

There is no rogue government

APC lost this election. Hands down. But then according to the rules, they won because Obi, Kwakwaso and Atiku could not agree on who should carry the PDP flag, and they ended up dividing the party, and then there was Wike and his shenanigans with G5.

At the end, elections are won by a united opposition, not a divided one..
APC won the election because of disunity, though it was rigged, but in the political system, they stood a great chance of winning... PDP shot itself in the leg.

I'll not die for nothing, I can't trade my integrity and good conscience for 5K. It's not about being streetwise or whatever you call it... Let us all learn, if most people learn to reject the money, the vote sellers would rest.

After the elections I purposely sat beside the vote buyers, with their discussion, that's when I knew the wicked knows he's wicked, the injustice perpetrator knows what he did.
