NIGERIA'S CURRENT SITUATION ANALYSIS

Greetings my country people, I believe everyone of us is fine and in good health, if contrary, it shall be well, better days anticipated.

At this juncture, I'll plead neutral to political ideologies and devoid of sycophancy, I'm voicing out for the masses and grassroots, this piece should not been seen as politically induced nor for personal interests, I'm doing this for all citizens.

Looking at the economic situation of our dear country, I'll say we're receding, even the federal government acknowledged to this fact last year. Majority Nigerians are living from hand to mouth with no savings for rainy days, everything seems turbulent, I'm saying this out of experience, myself as a case study and other's as an example. People are dying, people are sick, laying on the hospital beds with a bleak future, no medics treatment, why? Nobody to foot the bills, also, some are behind bars, most are guilty, other's not really, they are there for reasons. Albeit, some set of youths are too myopic to see this, life goes on for them and they live like no man's business, I may say youthful exuberance. Welcome to Nigeria, we've the "rich kids from poor homes."

Castigations and criticisms for any public office holder in Nigeria is literally inevitable, you do the good, your region praises you and boast with enthusiasm to others, you do what is termed as bad, the whole country comes for your head. But I always say "he who is extremely critical about other's should be given the mandate to lead for a day," let's see the miracles he'll perform, everybody sees themselves as perfect and can do well than incumbents, I'll sound this, have you ever led a small faction of a said group before? An ideal place is church cum school, the class rep obligations cannot be over emphasized, howbeit, everybody see's him as the god in the den, now answer this yourself, if half of the class performs woefully in examinations, is the class rep to blame? Switching to church, the monk's duty is to look after the sheep and tend it flawlessly that non goes astray, even with that, most black sheep will still do what they think is right, they take delight and refuge indulging in inimical and nefarious havens, when they eventually fall into bad hands, is the monk to blame? He did his job likewise the class rep.

The aforementioned example is the situation Nigeria is. Trending now, news has it that one mister was rusticated in Akwa Ibom state university for libel and character defamation, the issue in a vis a vis manner involves the governor of the state, some acclaimed good citizens are critically looking at the governor, in their views, the rustication was tabled before the governor before implementation. Thus, the news went viral on media without a word from the governor, finally, he spoke. Guess, he's called names. Which governor or president , in short, which pubic official will have time to be surfing the net for hours searching for irrelevant information when issues on the table are beckoning on him and esteemed functions pending, calling for attention. This is how low we Nigerians think, we're some how the cause of our problems, we are too critical on our leaders and won't let them do their works, although there are bad eggs among, give respect to constituted authorities, it's not easy to lead a state, speak less a sovereign cum republican nation, we've been clamoring for change since 90's, when will we have a leader and mute up in satisfaction? We want to be like first world countries, forgetting that a thousand miles begins with a step, this is pertinent and shouldn't be overlooked.

People are dying in different forms; accidents, murder, assassinations, name it, all these, why? We may say bad governance, however, if looked at closely we're our own killers, government exempted. Youth's now want to get rich quick, flaunt whatever car brand, wear expensive clothes are live in affluence. This prompts them to look for various nefarious aids, why won't we be hearing of murders, when the youths are killing themselves for money. Some may say, the harsh economy prompted such, I'll say, "what happened to legit hustling."
Not to talk of advanced fee fraud, popularly called Yahoo Yahoo, we shout people are suffering, meanwhile, this young boys dupes the living hell out of people. No fear of God nor man. It's high time we realized we're the cause of our own problems, not all vices are from the government, watch out.

To balance both sides, I'll also come up with writes on issues the government is lagging behind and the bad eggs amongst them. Meanwhile, take note that the change we're clamoring for will never come if we don't begin the change with ourselves, we're too selfish.

We're in one way or the other responsible for our deaths, sufferings and woes, the spiritual aspects cannot be left out, I wouldn't go into that as not all are theist, albeit, the believers know what I'm talking about.

Coming across various Nairaland sections, I'll definitely and vehemently attest to the fact that hypocrisy is what I'm seeing.

People will be coming out on a daily basis to confess how they engage in wanking and getting addicted to it to the extent of indulging in it like one who consumes food.

Advisers of course coming out with unreasonable and vague explanations on how to stop it .

I often read " get a hot girlfriend that will send you to the cloud whatsoever "

Hypocrisy, you're advising somebody to replace Masturbation with fornication, and it pleases you to give such advises, infact, you find no fault in it, you see at as the most perfect means of curbing and eradicating masturbation.

Brother/sister, you're nothing but an hypocrite, even when the bible Said, "FLEE FROM ALL SEXUAL IMMORALITY".
You see masturbation as weird and abnormal, but definitely fornication is good by you. You're an hypocrite

I'm an evangelist of God, I win souls for Christ, I preach the word of God, on the contrary, as flesh and blood, and a virgin, I've raging sexual hormones and a high libido.

All these are just normal phase of life, I once indulged in wanking, but I decided to stop, not because I no longer have lustful feelings, not because I don't enjoy the pleasures. But because the bible Said "FLEE". Flee from all, don't categorize any and make it look good, just flee. I decided to halt it completely.

So I was scrolling down my Facebook home page when something caught my attention, a very hot debate that I couldn't easily pass by without making comments, I hardly make any comment on a Facebook group post.

The debate was a very simple topic that went this way " Doctors and Lawyers, who speaks better grammar "

This aforementioned debate topic was so hot, majority stood for lawyers while a few supported doctors.

Thought, I should bring this to nairaland for more views and people perspective.

The former restaurant I worked some years back,some dubious customers who came to eat asked for POS to make payment.One of them brought out his old looking atm card and slot it in.The transaction declined and instead of him to give me the pos to check,he printed out his customer copy and removed his atm card and gave me the pos.I sensed scam.He didn't even allow me to print my merchant copy.I asked him for his copy.Gbam! Declined.I told him the transaction was declined.They have to dipped their hands into their pockets and gather #10k to pay me.

I've been in this business for almost a year.

I took up a work as a POS attendant.

Just today, at about 9am in the morning, I was in good spirits and working, I wanted to make much commission for my boss today to make him happy.

A rogue looking young man came in to my work place, looking dirty and smelling of cigarettes.

He told me he wants to make a deposit of 90 thousand naira. Hearing the amount, I was elated because I knew I'll collect a commission of 900 naira, that's a lot of money for my boss.

I counted the money and it amounted to 90 thousand naira complete,I told him the commission, he bargained the price and I didn't accept, I gave his money back to him, he contemplated for a while and returned the money back to me with full commission.

I made the transaction of 90k, he left, before putting the money in my bag, I decided to make confirmations, all of a sudden, I counted the money and it wasn't complete again, instead of 90k, I saw 64k.

In short, he duped me the sum of 26,000.


Please who can help??

Life remains a mystery and not everything is easy to comprehend.

If it was to be written that our dear state will one day become hideouts for hoodlums and criminals to perpetrate crimes uninterruptedly, if not all citizens, at least, the patriots would have doubted completely.

When did Akwa Ibom turn to a lawless state, when did Akwa Ibom state turn to a choas and lack of order?

What suddenly angered the bad influenced youth to gang up and turn the once peaceful state to a state of unknown fright were citizens live their daily life in fear?, Fear of the unknown?

Akwa Ibom state citizens, majority live from hand to mouth, no daily savings, talkless of life savings. The rich are clearly and vividly distinguished from the poor.

The above is happening and yet, we are facing crisis, economic and financial crisis.

Were is the government, were is the government for the people, all the manifestos tendered during election campaigns, were are the industries that can provide ample job opportunities to the masse's, were is the love, meekness and kindness that the government is supposed to show for it's citizens?

Just a day ago, we lost a blood, a youthful blood, the said leader's of tomorrow, the said leader's are being massacred on a daily.
Injustice is prevailing.

The lady in question was looking for a job, a job to put body and soul together, not minding the location, not minding the pay, not minding her security, she went all alone to face her Doom.

She made a tweet, the tweet was reposted, politicians didn't hear her cries, nobody answered her until she fell a victim, a victim to one rascal that deserves castration.

Now, the same politicians are disguising acts of kindness, showing hypocritical sympathy, and typing RIP.

The above Will continue to prevail.

If the government had provided job opportunities, what would have prompted a young lady to go into job hunting online and fall for devil's in sheep clothing's?

It's high time we stood up, it's high time we knew that it's time.

Not criticizing, I'm just being critical.
The Akwa Ibom state governor came up with a philosophy, "DAKAADA", the young lady ama dakadaa to look for something, now she's Dead.

Our dear governor, why not also "DAKAADA" for this lady?? Let justice prevail.


Apart from the lady in question, many atrocities are going on in the state, places of essence are being burnt down and destroyed, innocent lives are lost on a daily.

Akwa Ibom state is not peaceful again, we're in crisis we've not feel in a long long while, we're feeling the heats now.

Please come to our aid, help your people, return our state to it's last calmness.

The rate of insecurity is alarming, the rate of crime is sky rocketing, the rate of deaths and murder is getting funnier, the rate of locality inflation is too much for poor Akwa Ibomites.
