Elections were held in Nigeria and these were the representatives thrust from such a process.

Unless what you mean is that only what you insist on must be done.
If Nigeria were a functioning country, no elected leader has a right to speak for the people, they can only speak that which the people ask them to speak on major issues.

So why will I fight over it?

Asari is only respected has the 1st IYC president, if not he for don chop beating.
Brotherly we have bad leaders, but we can't give up because of that.
Torr! But I don't have such patience. You heard the questions that young man asked, ba? What has Asari done for the ijaw people? Same question goes to every supposed influential ijaw leaders, from Jonathan to the least person. U need to see the way some shell officials I and some others took to tour round my community after an EIA meeting as host community for a new pipeline construction. When I showed them our impoverished community and the only house prof. Okoko has in the community, they couldn't stop laughing. This was a man they respected and feared so much. Despite cornering the whole oil money in my community, nigga didn't do anything for us before he died. He impoverished my family after stealing our lands. But he was one of ijaws strongest leaders and the voice of Ijaw, shouting resource control everywhere and always blamed the north and nigeria. What I found about the ijaw people is that we are very selfish, even to ourselves. Just look at tiny Bayelsa state, yet our leaders can't develop it despite our huge allocations. The state capital is a mess. Our big men would rather spend their ill gotten money on women and buzz, dancing to awigiri. There is no creativity all. Check the state, there are no single manufacturing and high labour involved businesses and companies run by ijaws, apart from very few hotels. The youths are never smart, except wearing smart etibo shirts and claiming IYC nonsense. I am disappointed in my people.

PoliticsRe: Cowardice Of The Unknown Gun Men? by Elliot2(m): 3:19pm On Jun 19, 2021
superstar1:
For almost 6-8weeks, the criminal Unknown Gun Men suddenly appeared on the political scene maiming and killing security agents and launching arson attacks on defenseless Government institutions.

In a reaction to the madness, FG deployed the Super Cop Abba Kyari and his team in a bid by Government to address the criminal IPOB and ESN members masquerading as UGM in the language they understand. In a spate of less than 14 days, peace has been reinstated in the restive SE where those criminals were holding sway.

The surprising part of it is the ease at which they were dislodged, even Girls Brigade would have took on UGM if armed and still dislodged them with ease.

The Dilector should be ashamed of his army he was feeding with groundnut and sugarcane, which cannot even stand against Boys Scout not to talk of Police and Army. Well, the UGM are as cowardly on the field as their runaway Dilector hiding away in UK. Why are runaway cowards always the one leading the imaginary online country?

As the Unknown Gun Men are being masked, the question on our lips is - Is this how cowardly UGM is?

Ijaws on Saturday June 18: 'we want to secede from Nigeria.
It is the distractions Buhari asked them to cause. And they are coorperating very well. All of a sudden, IBOM wants out, Ijaw wants out, everyone wants out. But watch, immediately Biafra movement dies down, every other groups will automatically die down. Similar things they have been doing, form shouting for restructing and federalism. But each time the agitations in the east dies down, they follow too after getting some some ghana must go of money and more appointments.
PoliticsRe: The Things I Hate About My Own Tribe But Still Have High Hopes For The Future by Elliot2(m): 1:34pm On Jun 19, 2021
YouWillNotWin:
Okay, guys and gals - I have bashed Fulani herdsmen, Yoruba head slammers, Buhari ( grin ) and other ethnic bigots and terrorist sympathisers. Now it is time to bash my own people and yes, I mean my own Igbo people.

1. I hate it when we Igbos say we are the best and most superior. We are not!! Yes, we have very good qualities that are worthy of emulation but these do not make us superior to other ethnic groups. All ethnic groups have their own positive peculiarities.

2. We are too head strong, me included, which is why I think we had no kings. We need to allow other people make their point and reason with them before jumping to conclusions based on preconceived notions. Just shut up and listen to other people’s opinions and maybe you will learn a thing or two

3. Money? $$$$$$$$$$ And guess what, we were not always like this. In the past we worked very hard and we became wealthy and prosperous, but this is very different to the unhealthy lust we have today for money at all costs. I know the majority of us at home and abroad work very hard , and make money genuinely, but there is a reasonable minority that will KILL and MURDER and DECAPITATE their own kin for money , money what will not last long and for a life that is very short. When you make money a god you have dehumanised yourself.

4. Igbos are not JEWS. Just STOP, we are full blooded 100% BLACK AFRICANS. To keep parroting this crap about a fallacious Jewish heritage creates the impression that we are ashamed of our real heritage and by inference insulting our ancestors. Yes we have a lot in common with Jews; hardworking, innovative, tough, resilient and we practise circumcision etc, however these traits do not make us Jewish.

5. We are not united. Igbos have to work together for the common good of all and put aside differences and selfish ambition for power and the acquisition of material possessions. Let us put the health and wealth of all our people first before our own interests.

6. Too much international crime, again by a reasonable minority doing all sorts of evil such as drug dealing, human trafficking, kidnapping and other vices. When you cause pain and misery to others to accumulate little wealth that you will leave behind when you die, don’t forget that your children will reap the curses for your evil and you may even die young. Crime does not pay.

7. You cannot all be at the top; some must be leaders and others followers. Be humble and you will be promoted, be proud and you will be disgraced.

8. Bragging and boasting. I hate people who brag and boast. If you work hard and make money, enjoy it quietly and help others, stop showing off and bragging to people who do not have, or they will hate you. Stop boasting about how many cars you have and how many millions of dollars you make. All your wealth could disappear in a second or you could die tomorrow and leave it all behind; then what will you tell God? Rather give glory to God, enjoy your wealth, help others, and improve your community.

If we can fix all these issues of which I am partly guilty excluding the crime element, Biafra will be a heaven on earth.

FYI - I am an ardent supporter of our great leader Nnamdi Kanu and we will surely get to the promised land. Biafra will be crime free and a very prosperous nation.
All what you said are valid. But they are still very much positive features of the igbos.
*In fact, those are the reasons why I love the Igbos even though I am not Igbo but Ijaw. From my painful experiences, I should have been the number one haters of igbos because I have been cheated on by igbos. I remember how I was constantly cheated on by this igbo shoe seller who was always selling very fake shoes for me at very high prices. It continued until my friend was able to tell me how to spot a fake shoe. When I again went to the wicked igbo guy and he brought similar fake shoe, I just looked at him and shook my head, went straight to the shoe stands, picked the original and gave him an amount lower than the price of the shoe. When he protested, I then told him how he has been cheating me for so long. It was at that moment he told me truly he had been giving me substandard shoes for expensive price. He then told me to be always street wise. That lesson I now carry anywhere I go– to be street wise. Even though, what most Igbo men do by cheating others is very wrong, we must at all time learn to be wise. It is in human nature to take advantage of others, so u must be wise. Not even the whiteman will be truthful with you if you are always naive. And that is why the whiteman continues to cheat the blackman because we are always naive.
*I think the crazy love of money by the igbos may have come about as a result of the civil war and the meagre £20 pounds they were given after the war. The pursuit to survive the harsh igbo economic reality the wicked nigeria caused the them may have contributed. It is one survival battle they have gone too far with, though. And it will take a well structured Biafran govt and leadership to address it. Efforts must be made to kill that excessive love of money through dubious means. They need a Biafra where the group properity is exhalted above individual wealth, and money is not a symbol of wealth but but legal services.

I have long lost my support for anything ijaw, my loyalty is no longer with the ijaw nation but Biafra. I am willing to leave my people to join Biafra( well, my great great grand mother is from Nsukka). The ijaw man has no profitable generational ideology. We are too vain for my liking. We live in the now, we lack planning and foresight, we are backstabbers, money misroads, lazy, just name it. And besides, myself and my family has suffered in the hands of notable ijaw leaders likes late prof Okoko and his late son, our former Bayelsa governor and others with their nonsense oil politics. No reasonable leadership can ever come out from those greedy men. The state of my people irritates me. Despite our abundant resources, the masses are poor and docile while the INC leaders eat fat. IYC has been reduced to agbero people's congress, with miserable youths going about taxing tipper drivers and poor shop owners, while total strangers run things in our oil companies. For sending killers after me for speaking out our plights in the Niger Delta and the Ijaw nation, I have removed my hands.

I think its more realistic
Yes. Truth is, even if Nigeria breaks, the south west, the east and the south south will still be partners and neighbours. Even our intermarriages have greatly affected any dichotomy, so relationship will foster always continue. And besides, I don't see Ghana, Cameroon or any other west African country becoming biggest allies than we already are among ourselves. On a confederation level, we can greatly thrive, but as separate countries, it will spell a little doom.

The intelligence of a Biafran is very low.
If you had any intelligence at all you would have known a long time ago that no other tribe in this country will form any alliance with you.
Biafra people are cursed, nobody wants to do business with you because you're the most criminal humans on earth.
You can beg us from now till eternity, we will not join Biafra. If you like call me Afonja or Fulani, the truth is that like Buhari said, you're a dot in a circle with nowhere to go and you will remain so for ever and ever.
If I were you I'll ask my self, why does everyone in this world hate and distrust my tribe ?
The answer is simple, you're a despicable bunch of criminals.
All the criminals caught in Uyo and Calabar are your people, always stealing and robbing.
Shame on you.
The world hated the Lord Jesus Christ. Hate is not the yard stick to know a good or bad person.
